Good luck to the Spanish players trying to change the nt for the better, you’ll never succeed now because NO ONE is going to take you seriously ever again. You’re going to be the laughing stock of Spain and that’s your own fault.
How are you going to complain and then go BACK to that horrible human being, they are so spineless and there’s not a smidge of respect left for them. They’re going to have to live with being so incredibly fucking bad at keeping their word for the rest of their life.
They have not only failed themselves but also their friends who rejected the call up to change the NT, they’ve failed every little girl in Spain who look up to them and expect them to change the abusive ways of that cockroach.
They’re gonna have to keep on playing under him for the rest of their international careers and they’re going to continue to suffer abuse because they were so incredibly spineless. I hope that it gets better, but I know that it isn’t.
All I’m saying is, say goodbye to that change you wanted because it is never going to happen, the Spanish federation have seen what they can do with abusive coaches so they’re going to continue to appoint them, even after that gross man is gone.
My heart goes out to Clàudia Pina, Patri Guijarro and Mapi Leon who stood their ground for the change that’s never going to happen now and the fact that they’re most likely not going to play any international football for a long while. Extreme respect for them and all the others who stayed home despite being labelled as rebels.
Good luck with the change, and fuck you Jorge Vilda.
I know we talked a lot about women’s basketball players. But sometimes i’m distracted by how gorgeous all the female referees are. Damn. Are they single?
Almost a decade after FIFA removed its ban on headscarves, the 2023 Women's World Cup welcomed for the first time a hijab-wearing player. When Nouhaila Benzina stepped onto the pitch to play for Morocco at its first-ever World Cup match, she made history. FIFA banned the hijab for seven years, citing it as a health and safety risk. After years of Muslim women fighting against it, they finally lifted the ban in 2014.
EA Sports also release update adding a hijab for Morocco's Nouhaila Benzina in FIFA 23. The first player to wear a hijab at the Women's World Cup leaves a lasting legacy at the tournament, and on football's biggest gaming franchise.
I don't understand fouls, penalties, and cards at the best of times, but why on earth did Lavelle get a yellow when no one else is getting even a foul?
Hollie Davidson, First Female Referee in Men's Rugby Test Match, Historic Breakthrough
Hollie Davidson's achievement as the first female referee at a Springbok test match is both thrilling and bittersweet, highlighting the slow progress in gender equality in sports.
As a woman first, a mother and a wife, and as a writer too, I cheer for Hollie Davidson who made rugby union history as the first woman to referee world champions South Africa in a Test match.
But why is Hollie Davidson as first female referee in men’s rugby a historical breakthrough?
