In a world full of changes and upcoming trends, technology has adapted to new and emerging updates worldwide. Earlier, when tech was just a word with no meaning, people used to travel long distances to earn some bucks being the only bread-earner in the family. People had no space to enjoy their personal life due to long working hours and traveling huge distances. 

Slowly, when the technology updated itself, every state and city became reliable enough to offer employment opportunities. During covid pandemic, more than 90% of organizations switched to remote work, where the users logged in/out and worked from home. In this way, they were able to have a healthy work-life balance. Some workplaces allowed hybrid work mode, where they can work 2 days from the office and the remaining days from home. 

Finally, when AI and metaverse stepped into the tech industry, remote work can be a great choice for firms to adapt. Before we even begin to discuss, let's know, 

What Is Metaverse?

Metaverse is a network that connects 3D virtual worlds to assist people with each other, shop intriguing products via cryptocurrency, hang out, adapt personal digital avatars, etc. While metaverse locations depict through virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR), they can also be accessed using a computer or smart device. However, to fully experience the three-dimensional immersion, using a VR headset is necessary.

The metaverse, leveraging Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), will simplify the remote work experience for employers and employees. Irrespective of their physical location, remote attendees can conveniently access live, interactive networking opportunities and content using their computers or smart devices. These virtual conferences take place entirely online, often within metaverse ecosystems, eliminating the need for travel, hotel bookings, or catering arrangements.

posting pieces from collaborative zines is always something i struggle with because i look back and think of how i would do things differently now, but i learned a lot working on this comic and even developed some style techniques that i still use!

Fun Fact 1: the panel where shadow Fucking Disintegrates That Guy is technically traditionally drawn! i couldn't get it right in clip studio so i just started frantically scribbling in a notebook and got it eventually lol

highly highly recommend scribbling stuff out in a notebook, scanning it on your phone, and then dropping it into a canvas to edit later if you ever have trouble sketching something.

Fun Fact 2: a lot of the overlay/background effects were made in Kid Pix Deluxe 3D. i created a whole collection of various textures/abstract effects for this comic that i've been using in my art since last year. you can even find them scattered through my team dark zine lol. here's a few of them:

last year i found a wii at goodwill for 25 dollars and it came with everything except a wiimote but it was in such good condition i was like hell yeah ill take it how hard can it be to find a wiimote. the answer is it's nearly impossible to find them at thrift stores now so i've spent like 8 months looking for ones in thrift stores but there wasn't a single one and then online but i just couldn't bring myself to spend 30 dollars on one single wiimote so i waited so. patiently. and then 2 weeks ago i finally found one at goodwill for 9 dollars but it was absolutely disgusting and the battery cover was missing and the compartment was all corroded so i put it back and regretted it the whole week but then this last weekend i went to savers and there was an absolutely perfect wiimote just sitting there with no corrosion and a jacket and the wrist strap and motion plus and the nunchuck was there too and i got it all for 10 dollars so the moral of the story is that sometimes things seem right for you in the moment but you have to recognize that they aren't and leave them behind so the things that are meant for you will in fact find you when the time is right. peace and love <3

He tries not to move too much, not wanting to jostle while watching a movie he downloaded on his phone. And when they announce that you're about to land he gently shakes you awake, already missing the warmth of your cheek on his arm but enjoying the way you blink sleepily, eyebrows furrowed in confusion as to why you're suddenly back in reality and not lost in dreams of a sharp jaw, broad shoulders, and glasses.

Wonwoo who eventually asks if you wanna come over and watch the movie you’ve both been talking about at work and when you say yes he runs home and forces his roommate to help clean the place top to bottom before you arrive. And when you come over in comfy clothes with snacks and plant yourself on the couch he feels an odd sense of deja vu, like of course you look like you belong in his apartment curled up on his couch. When there's a particular scary scene you hide behind your hands and he just laughs at you which makes you slap his arm and you didn’t realize you two had moved so close to each other and when the movie ends and you just sit there, Wonwoo turns to you with messy hair and that look in his eye so you take your chance
