This… This couldn’t have happened! When this Kimodameshi was organised throughout Whispy Woods, the King was expecting some lighthearted scares…! Today was finally the day that he was going to face his fears of paranormal activity and come out cured. It all happened this one time when he strolled down the designated path, where a certain spectre appeared.
“Ha! Some special effects ya guys got this here time, but I know whut’s real an’ whut ain’t!” he exclaimed, before running into it… quite physically. Knocked onto the ground, the teen regained his composure before putting two and two together.
“Gah!! A paranormal pumpkinhead! This ain’t no puppet!! It’s REAL!!“
The pumpkinhead started to move around as it was being on fire, and began to exhale fire towards King Dedede. After that, he jumped into the Halloween Town spring.
Meanwhile, Cryst the Fortuneteller arrived with Bubbles the Bouncywild in town as their colors and appearances had been dark-tinted.
“King Dedede?” The two spoke in unison seeing King Dedede. “What’re you doing in Halloween Town?” Bubbles the Bouncywild asked.

A little theory about what happened to Steph's mother
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So we know that Solomon Lauter got the Black Book 15 years ago, when Steph was around 3 years old, and that he has some bad memories with it. We also saw how a deal with the Lords in Black looks - that you have to give up something that you cherish most. Like a person you love...
Tumblr media
Also because of the above (like Nibbly already tasted the blood Stephanie has) + their surname sounding like slaughter (like you can slaughter pigs) + the ending of the Honey Queen I think Solomon made a deal with Nibbly specifically to become the Mayor of Hatchetfield

What is the world of ‘Magicae’? What is this world like and how does it differ from the non-magical world?
P.S. Thank you for the comprehensive answers!
The world of "Magicae" is a lot like Camp Halfblood from Percy Jackson or the Wizarding World in Harry Potter in the sense that it is completely separate from the non-magical world but also entirely interwoven with it.
Most areas in the magic world (cities, towns, schools, buildings, neighborhoods, etc) are either hidden by barriers or enchantments - you just have to have enough magicae to see through them in order to get in and out. There are a few shops that exist in both worlds, but they usually are pretty spread out and have methods of concealing the more magical aspects when Debilis are shopping!
What the magical world is actually like is a bit more complicated to explain. It's a lot like the normal world in some ways and completely different in others. In general though, the magicae world is much more fantastical than the regular one.
It'll be explained in the game but here are some smaller details about the general setting!
Most Magus just teleport so there aren't many vehicles. If they are they're usually enchanted to do a specific thing (like fly or carry a lot of weight).
Most objects function with magic. It's not uncommon to see brooms sweeping all alone or drinks refilling themselves.
The currency is pretty odd. It's a mixture of coins, bills, and the occasional gold bar or gemstone.
There isn't really any "fast" shopping. Most shops and restaurants are completely unique and would probably be considered "small businesses" if they were in the nonmagical world.
The clothing is pretty different. Some older members of the community wear things like robes or tunics. A lot of it is also hand-made so you probably wouldn't see the same exact piece twice.
Technology exists (like phones and laptops) but most Magus prefer sending a letter or just writing stuff down. There's no particular reason for this except for it's more convenient. There aren't a lot of shops that holds those types of things, so they'd have to go to the non-magical world to get them.

Toby wandered through the woods, scared and cold. He soon stumbled across a circle of doors in the trees. The door that caught his eye the most was the pumpkin shaped one. Curious, he opened the door looked inside. Suddenly, he fell in and landed in halloween town.
(( @puppy-boy-toby. I just love TNBC; it’s one of my favorites! ))
In Halloween Town, everyone was starting to celebrate Halloween, as they love to make Halloween the best, and they make a big deal out of it. The citizens even began to sing "This Is Halloween" across the town.

For Disney worlds that appeared in at least 2 Kingdom Hearts games, are there any ones where you feel one particular game's incarnation is the superior one?
Oh, there are multiple cases of that. Neverland, Halloween Town, and Olympus Coliseum are the first three examples that automatically come to my head. In all three cases, they appeared in the first game, and I thought they were fine there...but later games just expanded on those worlds so much and made it a lot more interesting.
In the case of Halloween Town, the first game gave us...well...Halloween Town. And that was cool, probably my favorite World in the game, at least as far as the Disney ones go! But KHII not only added some more added touches to Halloween Town itself, but also took us the Christmas Town and the Hinterlands, which only made things even more interesting! Olympus Coliseum was...okay, in the first game, but it was a surprisingly small world for such an important location. You basically had JUST the Coliseum and its surrounding locality. KHII expanded on things by bringing us into the Underworld, and KHIII expanded things again by making things into "Mount Olympus" with some new characters and areas to explore. And as for Neverland...honestly, the first game's version shouldn't have been CALLED Neverland. It should have been called "The Jolly Roger," because that was basically all we got to explore: Captain Hook's ship and a quick fly-by of Big Ben. And don't get me wrong, those were cool! But later games expanded things and actually brought us to Neverland proper: most notably, "Birth By Sleep," which took us off the pirate ship and let us explore the island itself. I like both, but I definitely prefer the one from BBS.

trunk or treat. trick or treating days before the actual holiday. spirit halloween opening in early september. christmas decorations being on shelves at the same time as halloween.
no fucking wonder kids are so disillusioned with all of this and live in their phones. nothing is special anymore. whats the point of even having holidays like this when nobody even celebrates them on the holiday anymore???
