So like... our DM homebrewed Quick Hacks into our Red campaign cos my friends wanted the campaign to be set in like the 2070s (all of them watched Edgerunners or played 2077 except me)

I installed self-ICE on myself and our Solo (he's susceptible to hacks cos he has neuralware), and it's openly written on our cyberware sheet but we never actually mentioned it to our party..? I always just assumed they saw it written there and knew 😐..?

Just ended tonight's session, Solo had another cyber psychosis meltdown... he just suddenly grabbed the head of an NPC and crushed it...

I swear, he isn't a monster. I already got him to remove the Kerenzikov and he's getting therapy ;_;

The Sandevistan is his emotional crutch, I had to let him reinstall it. It wasn't the Sandy that made him go berserk. He got triggered by an NPC ;_;

We were in the middle of blackmailing Exec's boss... we literally weren't fighting, but he snapped ;_;

Exec freaked out and undid my jammer to opened the doors and let his boss' security team in while I was trying to calm Solo down

This was our first time encountering an enemy netrunner who specialises in quick hacks and...

The netrunner couldn't disable Solo's cyberware cos of my ICE and Solo ended up killing the entire security team 😅

Our entire party was like "wtf O_O??? Self-ICE is allowed in this campaign O_O???" and me and my friend were like "Huh??? You guys didn't know???"

Now we're arguing cos

Exec wants my Netrunner to remove Solo's self-ICE. He said we're screwed if Solo turns on us and no one can disable his chrome

My friend asked if I watched Edgerunners cos cyber psychos are dangerous, I should learn from Edgerunners

My Netrunner obviously refused. Exec must be snorting synthcoke if he thinks I'm going to leave Solo defenseless. Solo is like my little bro, I will protect him. He protected me so many times while working as my bodyguard. I'm repaying him

And yes, I saw a few episodes of Edgerunners. This is precisely why I'm not removing the ICE??? This is the exact method MaxTac used to kill that dude??? I'm not letting them gun down Solo like he's an animal
