i really like britechester because it has that european-city vibe that takes me back home. i like to follow a certain style for the builds i use in britechester, usually influenced by french and british traditional-cities architecture.

i don't know if the same happens to you too, but i really struggle to find non-residential cc-free lots. so today, i bring you a list of community lots you could use in britechester. you can also check my other britechester builds suggestions post here (i won't repeat them in this list).

and because i really depend on lot sizes and maps to picture-build the world i wanna put my sims living in, i leave you a reference map with lot sizes legends so you can see which build fits where :)

Weird Yutu thingy but what if Yuu came from the Pokemon world

I believe the support system in the Pokemon world is much better than Earth so-

Single parent with a raging teen-

Add some emotional support Pokemon

And when Yutu comes to his parent's timeline Yuu gets so excited to see new Pokemon (that love them for some reason. Almost as though they were their first trainer-)

Oh Yuu and Yutu would be in such a better place if they came from the pokemon world. Yuu gets a house with a bunch of neighbors and nearby a lab and no one really cares about not knowing who Yutu's dad is.

The pokemon part is a bit trickey though... would they remember Twisted Wonderland? Probably, I couldn't see the magic marshal's keeping the pokemon? But I could also see one of Yuu's team staying with Yutu's dad by accident. Maybe it helps keep the boys who remain alive that much more sane, maybe it stands reluctant guard nearby where the phantom resides, unable to think of anything else to do until it sees Yutu and gets some of its old energy back. This whole ayuu is based off of Fire Emblem Awakening so I have to mention Cherche and her wyvern Minerva... her son Gerome takes up his mother's mount and brings her back in time with him, it's how she recognizes him even before he shows her the wedding ring... perhaps something similar happened with Yutu where he has one of your pokemon and you just know that he's lying to you even before you know he's your son (Gerome's supports with his dad made me so mad because I always S ranked Cherche and Libra because Libra actually learns to speak wyvern in their support chain but that's not reflected in his support with Gerome because it's generic and i wanted to scream every time i read iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I sort of based Jade! Yutu's attitude towards his dad on those supports though)

But back to nicer thoughts, I always struggle with pokemon aus because half of it is just assigning the pokemon, and then I get super caught up in what region everyone is from and just bleh

Riddle! Yutu has to have a Roselia right? It just makes sense, maybe he has the shiny stone for the evolution all ready to go but it was the last present Yuu ever gave him so he's reluctant to use it. Maybe, if you want some extra angst, when he comes to Twisted Wonderland he still just has a budew because he's not super into pokemon battles but he struggles to raise the friendship level enough for budew to evolve once he's there. He's so upset about losing his parent and budew is trying their best tm but it's not enough until they see Overblot Riddle and finally get on the same wavelength.

The triplets... one of them has to have a Fidough that's just a given. I was tempted to say they all have one? But I like the idea of Yushi having a Swirlix since she's more into candymaking. That's 2/3 fairy types so I was scrolling looking for another one when I saw Sinistea and went "oh that would be cute and the perfect fit for a cafe themed se-" and then I realized I could give that to Yutres. Could. For funsies. But it makes much more sense and is less cruel to give her a Milcery. So Yutu gets Fidough, Yutres gets Milcery, and Yushi gets Swirlix for a cute little fairy cafe set.

Cater! Yutu is trickey, he's big on mindfulness and I was really tempted to give him my favorite pokemon because of that, but he also really likes music... I feel like psychic pokemon sort of fits his vibe? And I am torn between Chimecho and Espurr. Espurr is supposed to have difficulty controlling its power, so maybe Chimecho and Yutu could have been focused on helping one out. Cater is super underrated so why shouldn't I give his Yutu two pokemon, it'd be very cute.

Ace! Yutu is pikachu coded to me <3 They would fight so much because both pikachu and Yutu are little brats but once they get in sync watch out they're super scary. Easily the pokemon most excited to see Yuu again... perhaps all that ego clashing is just something that happened in Yuu's world because pika and Yutu bonded while grieving Yuu. Maybe Yutu never evolves his pikachu because that's how Yuu gave it to him. Maybe Pikachu doesn't want to evolve because that's how Yuu left it.

Deuce! Yutu... there aren't any explicitly chicken pokemon outside of maybe Moltres but there is Togepi who is an egg. Baby Yutu loves his bestest friend in the whole wide world, Delinquent Yutu is sort of embarrassed by them. After he catches a houndoor he stops actively using them in battle... he doesn't hate Togi, he just doesn't let anyone in his gang see them and gets really violent with anyone who might try to hurt them. Probably defends fairy types any chance he gets before stammering out some sort of excuse trying to play it off as someone else's opinions. Maybe his boys catch on and one of them gets the idea that maybe they could like... start using impidimps. Make Grimmsnarl the icon of the gang instead of Houndoom, just cause you know maybe fairies are kinda neat maybe. they all want it to be togi instead please boss we made them a little biker jacket isn't it so cu- i mean badass?

Leona! Yutu is loved by cats and he loves naps. Litleo feels like the most thematic pokemon for him, maybe they were napping under a tree one day and a Munchlax decided to follow him home because sleeping on Leona! Yutu was actually pretty warm and Yuu makes the best snacks. His dad probably didn't appreciate the correlation between him and his son's pokemon but as I have said before, he's very much that dad who doesn't want the cat but ends up asleep on the couch with it in his lap two days later. Except this time it's him feeding all his vegetables to Munchlax.

Ruggie! Yutu is my little dandelion prince so he gets a Hoppip. I like the idea of him coming home with one stuck in his hair and they've been best friends ever since. He feels like the one most likely to take over training Yuu's team, if he had continued living in your world I don't think he would have become a trainer. He would have been happy to have a normal job and maybe never evolve his pokemon, but he doesn't regret taking on the role of trainer in the bad future. It gives him a lot of self confidence.

Jack! Yutu... I will bestow him the honor of giving him one of my favorite pokemon. He gets Cacnea because Yuu remembers that Jack liked succulents. Yutu is very serious about taking care of him and making sure he has the best possible habitat at home. Cacnea is under the impression it is doing the same for Yutu and Yuu, but the stubby little hands it has make helping with chores difficult.

It's really tempting to give all of the Octatrio kids water type pokemon, maybe left over memories from Twisted Wonderland make Yuu think that would be a good idea. But I want to give Azul! Yutu a Clobbopus sosososososo bad. It's such a cute pokemon and I think Yutu would agree that his pokemon is super cute. So does everyone in Savanaclaw much to his annoyance, it's like his pokemon is the dorm leader and not him.

Jade! Yutu feels like a Mareanie guy. Water type since he's a merfolk, poison type because that's pretty punk rock, and it looks just enough like a mushroom to be thematic. I could see one of Yuu's pokemon staying in Twisted Wonderland with Jade... a Shiinotic who helps him at the bar and is the best cared for mushroom out there that Yutu is envious. Why does his parent's pokemon love his dad so much? Why won't it agree to come with him into the past where you are still alive because it insists on staying with Jade, saying that's what you would want?

Floyd! Yutu's favorite pokemon ever since he was a little boy was Sharpedo. He asked, suspiciously politely, to be given one when he was old enough to get his trainer's license. He even made a power point, how cute! The answer was still no, instead Yuu convinces the lab near by their house to take Yutu on as one of those trainers with a pokedex who goes on a journey to collect all the gym badges. He really likes being a trainer, probably would have been the annoying rival to his next door neighbor, definitely picked whatever pokemon was strongest against whatever they picked. He still catches his Carvanha and doesn't hold it against Yuu for not giving it to him, he thinks that was probably for the best.

Kalim! Yutu deserves a Whooper. It's cute, the little face is always smiling and Whooper and Quagsire are such joyful little guys I think Kalim would love them. Oricorio feels like a good choice too because of how much it likes dancing... but I feel like Yutu would have a hard time choosing what form to train because they are all so cool. His dad would be such an enabler, sure son lets have all four! And throw a themed party for each one lol

Jamil! Yutu also feels like a good candidate for a pokemon rival. Sure, Ekans and Arbok feel like good pokemon for him thematically, but I just know he would have a well balanced and thought out team of pokemon he deeply loves and takes great care of. Keeping with the snake theme, lets say he started out with Snivy. Serperior fits Jamil's overall vibe pretty well, it's a beautiful pokemon and very regal. Other pokemon I could see him having are Gastrodon, Clefable, and Scizor.

Vil! Yutu loves to draw but I do not like Smeargle in the slightest and will be pretending it does not exist. I feel like anyone attached to Vil should get a Buneary, it's a cute pokemon with a friendship evolution who has real hate in its heart. It is more like Vil than any poison type pokemon fr fr. I could see Vil! Yutu doing well as coordinator, but being a bit uncertain of who else he wants to add to his team, but catching an evee with the intent of evolving them into... something he just doesn't know what.

I hit the text block limit lol, I should just. Stop being distracted by cassette beasts and get back to writing. Or replay a pokemon game.

KC's cafe was added ty kate :333 and new islands that are mostly abandoned/empty since theyre s2/s3 locations: phoenix alliance island ruins and the island they found lilith garnet and the wyverns in. currently very rough wip on those 2

boboros and yggdrasil forest are still big wips theyre stupidly large projects. theres still Nashma and Kikrill which are only villages mentioned once ever that id like to add bc im crazy. somehow this map isnt big enough anymore lol

still aiming for a february release, at least for the first version.

Things I Have Noticed/Remembered from my MCDiaries rewatch

I will be updating this as I continue my rewatch, currently everything listed is out of order, cause I've started writing this as I am on episode 64 of season 1 and I don't feel like fixing it to be in order, so sorry!

What the fuck was Garroth's "plan" he mentions to Zenix in the first episode 😭

Zenix seems to be younger then Garroth in Diaries, considering the way that Garroth talks about him, but I think in MyStreet, Zenix is either the same age or slightly older then Garroth, so far this is like, the only obvious age difference between the series (besides Travis and everyone else of course)

I forgot how entertaining Brendan's character is, he's far less annoying then I remembered

ZANE AS AN ACTUAL BAD PERSON, I LOVE HIM

I love Vylad, but I legit forgot how much he was in Diaries season 1, I thought he was in it far less

Currently at the stage of Diaries where there is no lgbt+ people, i'm very disappointed by this (we haven't even reached the queerbaiting)

KC's character is....not as bad (racist) as I was expecting, still not great though. I'm choosing to believe that KC is from Tu'lu and Maid Cafes are a thing there, and "Kawaii~Chan" is just a stage name for her work.

Y'all know how Cadenza went missing and she was actually turned into a chicken? Yeah, the way Hayden, Castor, & Laurance talk about her to Aphmau makes it sound like Cadenza is a small child. But then it turns out she's the same age, if not older, then Laurance and Aphmau.

Aphmau should've just made Joh and Hayden lovers, I'm so serious, it would make the whole Cadenza and Laurance being "close like siblings" in season 1 to I think actually being called as siblings in season 2 and in MyStreet a lot easier to understand and make a lot more sense.

Why does Kenmur have like, some sort of romance with all the girls from Meteli??? He was engaged to Sasha and is stated to have feelings for Cadenza.

I love when the episodes open from Sasha's POV, and she goes and talks to Gene and there's just no voices. I love having to pause to read what they're saying. (this point is sarcasm)

The way literally everyone reacted to learning Laurance was blind was....icky. Like, I understand Cadenza and Aphmau reacting as like "we need to find a way to bring his sight back", but the fact that it was literally EVERYONE who decided he needed to get his sight back was so weird.

I don't mind Laurance ACTUALLY getting his sight back, but I wish it was done differently. Like, personally, I'd have him like, have to wash his face with the water of the fountain of Lady Irene.

Emma & Corey, Dale & Molly, and Logan & Donna are very sweet couples.

After Zoey and KC were able to turn Cadenza back to her human form, Zoey mentions that she "recognizes Cadenza from somewhere", but I don't think this goes anywhere???? I'm assuming it was supposed to hint at like, Cadenza's backstory.

ngl, I kinda wish we got more of Zane and Kiki's relationship, I really wanna know what side of Zane Kiki actually saw.

Anyway, Kiki is currently expecting.

Nicole (my beloved) has showed up. I've decided I won't question the logic behind her iron fists being able to break bedrock, and instead say that her referencing her iron fists just made me think of Ace from One Piece and Natsu & Gajeel from Fairy Tail.

I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT NICOLE'S FOX, ROXY, AND ABOUT THE WYVERNS IN GENERAL 😭

I need to mention that in one episode (before Aphmau went to Scaleswind and learned about Lady Irene), Garroth says to Aphmau "by the seven", which I think she was hurt, but the use of "by the seven" is similar to how the same phase would be used in Game of Thrones or to how irl lots of people say "oh my god", so I'm really wondering if there were originally supposed to be 7 Divine Warriors instead of 6.

The way when Aphmau found Levin and decided to keep him and Garroth IMMEDIATLY decided he would be Levin's father figure.

The way when Laurance found out that Aphmau had a kid, his response was to play with Levin and say to Aphmau "you didn't tell me you had this little buddle of joy/energy".

• I love a good fantasy AU: but like not all of them are humans. (these aren't specific to any games just a heads up)

I see Arno as a High Elf and Connor as a Woodland Elf.

Ezio and Desmond as Dragon Shapshifters: they tend to use their human appearance in public but if they are with friends, family or just relaxing they take on their Dragon forms. Ezio is a Giant Fire Dragon and Desmond is a Large Wyvern, hes got White and Red colors.

Altaïr is a Demon Shapshifter: he also prefers his human form if there are other humans around other than that he couldn't care less what people think of him.

Jacob & Evie are half elves, their father is human and their mother was a High Elf (I HC that it was frowned upon for humans and elves to be in a relationship let alone have kids so she was killed, and their father didnt want to raise them especially if it would make his image look bad). they tend to flock to Arno and Connor due to the elven blood in them. they both take the twins in, and when the twins ask specifically about High Elves, Arno is MORE than happy to educate them of their lineage.

Edward is a Zora-like Shapshifter: he's got gold and blue colors to him in his Zora-like form. this man doesn't come to shore often and even when he does he doesn't care what form hes in. if he's lazy it's the Zora-like, if he's looking for a lady friend he's human.

Arno is a Cafe owner and writes storylines for plays & movies, also has a Masters Degree in Archaeology. (has several branches in different countries)

Ezio is a Banker like his dad (CEO) and a part time Model.

Desmond owns his own bar, and be bartends there. he also has a few different branches in the U.S. he has a Bachelors in Accounting though, was going to work for the Auditores but changed careers.

Altaïr has a doctrate degree in Astronomy and Philosophy. he's a Professor for both at a University.

Edward is a Marine Technician.

Connor is an Architect, he builds what he comes up with too. the jack of all trades.

Jacob is a High School History Teacher, I just think that it suits him for some reason.

Evie was a kindergarten teacher, she ended up transferring later on to a first grade teacher though since she felt like she got to spend more time with the kids and teach them more.

Been playing a lot of Fire Emblem Engage recently and absolutely fell in love with this adorable and ferocious femboy so I decided I’d write up some x reader headcanons.  -You are absolutely his favorite drawing subject, expect multiple sketches of you during day to day tasks every week.  - He is very much someone who is not uncomfortable with PDA. From hand holding and little kisses on the cheek.  -Rosado is for sure someone who wouldn’t pursue anyone his wyvern doesn’t like. Luckily enough for you, she did quickly take a liking to you. - If your hair is long enough prepare for it to be played with and braided when the two of you cuddle and relax -On that topic he loves to just sit around and enjoy your company sometimes. Especially in nice meadows or fields.  - He can be quite protective of you and anyone who tries to hurt you better watch out for the flying terror that is angry Rosado. -He won’t put up with any negative self talk from you at all. You’re the cutest person in the world to him and he will make sure you know that. 

-More than a few of your dates have been scenic hikes to go and find something he wants to paint and the rest are either going to various boutiques or cute cafes. 

- He goes all out for celebrations of important events between the two of you. You’ve tried to show him up on his birthday but he responded with double on yours. 

- Though with that he is also very good at keeping the details of these celebrations a secret. You’ve never been able to find out, but have brushed up on your sleuthing skills to try. 

-This does lead to the days and weeks leading up to these events becoming an ever growing web of lies, false leads and sleuthing. In what has practically become a game of sorts between you. (you’ve never won) - Rosado when asleep becomes the worlds biggest blanket hog. You’ve had to buy a separate set for each of you so you don’t end up freezing at night.

MCD Rewatch S1 Ep45: Logan's Curse

Plot Summary: Kiki tells Aphmau that Logan is turning into a werewolf. Either he was bitten recently, or he got bit a while ago and his system is just now kicking into gear. Aphmau finds Raven the wyvern's cave/nest, along with all the other golden wyverns that got separated from their mother. Raven tells her that to go home, they need not just the fancy shmancy wood, they also need six human sacrifices or a specific book. One of the wyverns gives Aphmau a message from KC asking if she can move in. Aphmau says yes. God help us all.

Serpent Unit - Jormungandr

J001-01 - Estoile (Paladin) Current Status: Deceased Noble Paladin whom fights for what she believes is 'justice'. The glue who tied the entire squad together, and ultimately felled by the 'Red Witch'.

J001-02 - Oberon (Summoner) Current Status: Alive (Makai) A summoner of multiple creatures, most known for her Wyvern, Nidhogg. Desires to restore Makai to it's former glory, and looks highly on their princess, Alice Margatroid. The squad's old cook.

J001-03 - Helia (Witch) Current Status: Alive (???) An unpredictable Hell Fairy whom even her teammates find her hard to work with. Infamously known for her spell, 'Danse Macabre', which controls the bodies of others.

Did a major story change for him, also I initially meant to adjust the wolfman design I made for him as part of the Spooktober challenge, but I decided I liked it as is after all. BOY did his backstory get even more sad....I promise I have characters who have happier stories too with no trauma or drama lol

(For the hair note with the cafe uniform - I was simply too out of motivation to also draw his tied up hair for that one lol)

Name: Roman Bosco

Nicknames: Lupo (means wolf) was his Mob alias, he also gets called "inu-san" by his gf's boss' two younger kids. Sometimes Claude calls him "pooch" as a playful insult. He was also called Mutt by his dad and his gang, a term meant as an insult. Mihail sometimes still ends up using it, but he is trying to learn away from that habit; Even if he means it neutrally, Roman still tends to take it badly (even when he knows Mihail doesn't mean it as an insult like the others did)

Age: ~30, estimating a Grimmhound's exact age is difficult typically and they tend to forget it themselves.

Height: 182 cm

Family: A lycan hunter mother who succumbed to the curse herself/Grimmhound gang head father, who was killed by Mihail sometime after Roman left his dad's group.

Friends: Sebastian Kravchenko (A wyvern), Laurent Delune (A sea serpent) Claude Faylune (Tiger butterfly fairy/His gf's coworker) Yuuji Yoma (His boss/GF's uncle) Mihail Câine (Grimmhound, a former member of the same pack Roman was in initially)

Love interest: Avane Faydream (A mantis fairy)

Rival: Claude & him often bicker and have playfights that Roman doesn't take seriously (he'd probably kill Claude or hurt him badly if he did, something Claude doesn't always fully appreciate, until he sees him fight for real....)

A former mafia bodyguard forced to work under a young mob head, now works in the cafeteria owned by his beloved's uncle.

Abilities:

Regeneration: His kind regenerate most injuries insanely fast, and are generally among the most durable land-dwelling beast types outside non-flying drakes. He's also mostly immune to getting shot, apart from silver bullets; his Lycan heritage makes him vulnerable to those.

Transformation: He has two forms; A beast form where he's part wolf part man, and a full black dog form the size of a bear. He is insanely fast, stealthy and durable in these forms, with the werewolf form being more agile, and the full hound form being stronger. Also, since his hound form is more fluff and less shadows like typical grimmhounds, he's a very good space heater during cold days once you get past how intimidating he looks. (Ask Ava she knows)

Bite force/claws: He has very strong bite force and can actually tear people's throats open even in human form. His claws can also be used to easily cut limbs off and damage metal.

Keen senses: Being a predator type of beast, his sense of smell is about as accurate as you'd expect from a trained bloodhound, he also has excellent night vision, and can pick up the faintest of sounds from hundreds of meters away. Also he's generally just very aware of his surroundings. (This can be useful at work as he can tell if something is gonna burn before it does/he will sense if something easily breakable is about to fall and catch it)

human weaponry: having lived with humans and used a lot of their weapons, he is very good hand-to-hand combatant and fairly good with knives and firearms

Full moon boost: Because of his Lycan heritage, Roman's strength gets a boost during the full moon, and he tends to be near invulnerable that night.

Weaknesses:

Because of his past with the mob, Roman isn't keen on people sneaking up on him/approaching him from behind without warning. He might attack anyone careless enough to do this out of a reflex even now. He also generally still has a bad habit of trying to solve hostile situations with violence, something his friends and girlfriend are helping him to work on.

Loud sudden noises do make him tense as he associates them with gunshots, so he's not fond of explosive magic, or firework including celebrations.

He's afraid of dolls, because he associates them with the memory of his mother transforming and being killed by hunters; when she transformed she broke some porcelain dolls she'd been collecting, and that memory got stuck in his brain vividly, making him uneasy around them.

He's somewhat self-conscious of how scary he can come off to people just for being what he is, and tends to get pretty upset over scaring someone, to the point he'll avoid the person like plague for a while (even if they'd forgiven him/understand he didn't mean to do so)

Due to his werewolf heritage, silver bullets can harm him where normal bullets can't. They just don't instantly kill him like they would a full-blood werewolf, but they are the only type that can actually pierce into his body. He's also allergic to silver more human-style, and gets itchy skin and even hives form it.

Personality:

At first glance - once you get past the general spooky vibes of Grimmhounds - Roman is fairly laid back and relaxed guy, who likes helping people out in any way he can. He even helps kids/teens who visit the cafe with their homework if they ask for it.

Because of his past, he tends to be extremely loving and attentive with his girlfriend, wanting to make sure things don't turn out as bad as they did with his boss/subconsciously still feeling like he's not worth her love. He's also a trustworthy friend, willing to drop anything to help any of them out if needed, though he still has the tendency to go a bit too hard in a fight/he tends to be overtly hostile towards people arguing with his friends. (and one of his friends is a wyvern, a being KNOWN for having a bad temper. if Sebastian says he's going overboard, its bad)

He's the type to be content and amazed by life's small things after everything he's gone through, like a butterfly landing on his hand or seeing his girlfriend laugh. He also sometimes likes to wander off on his own, just to enjoy his freedom of not being forced to stay close to someone. He's also not afraid to act a little goofy, especially around kids as that makes him seem less scary to them.

BG STORY:

Roman was born to a human woman & Grimmhound in a secret affair. His father fucked off, and neither were aware that his mother actually had a Lycan infection, as she had been bitten by a werewolf sometime before his parents met. She just happened to come from a hunter lineage, so she had a level of immunity against it.

When Roman was born, his mother was forced to flee her family, because they thought he was born a monster and wanted to kill the baby. They remained hidden for couple of years, until the strain from the stress of it all weakened her enough that the Lycan curse could spread. She transformed eventually, managing to have enough sense to flee before she hurt her child. She was eventually killed by her family. Upon finding the boy they initially thought he was the one who turned her, until someone who knew the truth reveals to them, that she'd been bit long ago, and had just been able to suppress the curse until now.

They choose to let the boy live for her memory, and instead find his father, bringing the boy to him in Romania. Unfortunately, since he was not a full Grimm but a "mutt" as they called him, Roman was treated rather badly by the whole clan, eventually driven away because he was seen as too weak. He returned to Italy, his mother's homeland as he didn't know what else to do.

Roman ended up working for a mobster because his men ended up picking a fight with him, which they lost obviously. Impressed by his strength - and aware of his true nature - the mobster hires him as his personal guard. At first their casual relationship was fine, but soon the head started to act more and more controlling/possessive, to the point of cursing him with a seal that wouldn't let him leave. Roman was stuck as "Lupo" for years, until he met a young Fae woman, Avane, whose father was having dealings with the mob. She agreed to give him a way out of his current, horrible life if he helped her to steal something from his boss. Much to his surprise, she kept her promise and even helped him set up his new life in a new world, something Roman never expected anyone would do to him. Then again, the only people that had ever shown him kindness so far, had been his mother and some of the women in that Romanian town...

Fun Facts

He calls Ava "Doll" both to try and associate the term with something more positive, rather than the memory of his mother's horrible death.

He's really intimidated by Ava's father, given he did try to kill him during their first meeting, thinking he was a full blood werewolf. (Kenzo has biases towards them given a werewolf tried to murder his wife and Ava when the latter was a toddler)

He has mixed feelings about his past boss, given he is aware the young mobster had feelings for him, but also the way he was handling them was highly toxic and problematic, such as the controlling curse tattoo he'd put on Roman

Roman was initially very afraid of Mihail once they met again, as while Mihail never personally bullied him or treated him badly - he basically ignored his existence - the other Grimm was one of the strongest of the pack, so Roman was naturally scared of him. This fear did ease once they became friends later.

Roman doesn't like people calling him "Lupo," except for Ava; either she uses it to get him to listen if he's being a moron, or because he likes to have her boss him around during sex/morning after. Getting to this point did take some time though, given his massive struggle with trusting people.

Roman is Bi, he actually developed a crush on Ava from their very first meeting, but he kept ignoring it out of respect for her (and fear towards Kenzo) until everyone could basically tell, including Ava who'd started to like him back the same way.

Yuuji was in fact the one who coaxed him to ask her out, reassuring him Kenzo wasn't going to ask his right hand woman to snipe him in his sleep.

He likes to sing duets with Ava in karaoke, though only if the people with them are those he trusts/isn't intimidated by. Mainly meaning his friends and Ava's friend Taiga (they often just go alone on dates)

He has a brotherly relationship with a young kid named Marco, who also speaks Italian as his native, and is the friend of Ichirou, who is the son of Ava's boss.

He and Claude developed kind of a playful rivalry due to Claude initially being kind of protective over his friend. Claude is one of the very few people that can actually sneak up on him without triggering a violent reaction. (other people being Ava of course, and Laurent & Sebastian)

He tends to not speak that much, again a habit he learned from his past experiences where his words apparently didn't matter. He sometimes just forgets to talk and needs to be asked to get him to actively engage in a conversation in a larger group. He's also actively working on understanding that now, with the people he's surrounded by, his thoughts and feelings DO matter.

In his wolfman form he has patches with no fur, but in his full hound form he is covered in fur, the patchy parts just are brown rather than black.

Worldbuilding and theories of Engage

Recreation

These are based on Somniel activities and support conversations. 

Swimming - Swimming seems to be a popular activity, a way to exercise and relax. Swimming is great for relaxation because it releases endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine into the brain. For the fans of exercise because it helps endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. For people recovering from injury the buoyancy of the water offers relief to the muscles, bones and joints. Of course Swimming pools are not just for swimming, they are great for splashing around in and engaging in water fights. Framme, Clanne and Timerra particularly enjoy playing around in the water.

The idea for the swimming pool in the Somniel doesn't just come from a place of horniness. The Ancient Greeks outdoor recreation centres known as Palaestras. These palaestras were placed to meet up with people and exercise. A Palaestra was a wrestling school or gymnasium with faculties for bathing, ball playing, undressing and storage of clothes, seating for socialising, observation, or instruction, and storage of oil, dust or athletic equipment. The Swimming pool area has very similar architecture to a palaestra with white columns and sunbeds covered so they can still be used in bad weather. 

Sun bathing - The Sun is a very important symbol for Lythos and The Somniel. There are sun frescoes, stained glass and clothing patterns, the symbol for Lythos features a sun as well. It is natural that heliotherapy would be popular. Helios means Sun and therapeia means healing power in Greek. Hippocrates used to recommend fresh air, sunshine and rest as a treatment for tuberculosis. Relaxing in the sun is also a good way to recover from duties and battling. 

In depictions upon Ancient Greek pottery, ladies who used to sunbathe to get a tan were prostitutes. Noble women wanted to have fair skin to show a politicised form of beauty and status, sunbathing and getting tans were common activities. It is interesting to note that the majority of people who sunbathe in Engage are lady commoners: lapis, yunaka, Goldmary, Framme and Jade. 

Communal dining - The Cafe Terrace is where the characters of Engage meet to eat. Lumera also mentions the pleasure of sharing meal with Alear when her child wakes from slumber. 

The Cafe Terrace is a syssitia. In Ancient Sparta they were used to militise young men by bonding and getting them used to food rationing and hardship. Dining in the Somniel serves a similar purpose, those who fight together, eat together and continue to build a bond as beneficial in peacetime as it is during war. The idea is that all those who dine become an extended family. 

Wyvern riding - Due to what is required to train and the upkeep of a wyvern, this activity would mainly be enjoyed by nobles. The wyvern cause in the Somniel would have needed a mixture of flyers and magicians to construct. Wyvern riders serve as a way to bond with your wyvern. 

Exercise - There is an area for what the Ancient Greek called Calisthenics, which are exercises that rely on bodyweight and gravity. Press ups, push ups and squats, the three exercises performed at the training yard are calisthenic. Running and training battles are also used for training and for recreation. 

Fishing - Fishing can be seen as both a practical and leisure activity.

Knitting - Vander enjoys knitting, in particular lace knitting. In Ancient Greece, lace was used to decorate ecclesiastical vestments and cere cloths. The design would be geometrical, circles and triangles would be used to enhance the dimensions. The cassocks have Greek lace embellishments featuring triangles and geometric patterns.

Discourse- Conversation of political and philosophical view is encouraged by communal seating and dining.  The plaza and the roofed area with columns next to the records hall form an agora. An agora is an ancient Greek gathering place. You see many of the political and philosophical conversations happening in Cafe Terrace (Diamant/Ivy and Framme/Diamant) and private conversations in areas of the Somniel that are naturally covered by trees and fauna (Alfred/Diamant). The plaza is used for Alfred's and Veyle's philosophies about dealing with guilt and redemption.
