I think Albedo is a good swimmer and gets in with you and Klee so that he can help her (which is very cute omfg)

He’s set total workaholic, as we know, so it took a lot of convincing to get him to put down his experiments and accompany you to the beach (however, he’s particularly weak to yours and klee’s puppy dog eyes so he caved eventually)

Though, looking at you and Klee happily building sandcastles and decorating them with pretty seashells of all shapes and colors, he can’t really find it in himself to complain.

He, of course, takes this opportunity to take out his sketchbook and draw the waves, seagulls, you… Of course he won’t let you see the sketch book no sir. He’s a bit embarrassed to be honest, but an artist such as himself recognizes beauty when he sees it so he simply had to draw you. (God I love him so much)

If a creepy person approaches you,- well don’t worry. The sight of a small arsonist child blowing up fish is enough to scare them away 🥰

At the end of the day, all three of you are all ticketed out. Albedo has to carry Klee back to Mondstadt because the poor baby fell asleep the moment you started drying her hair with the beach towel. You’re, of course, carrying back Dodoco and your bags. (You also manage to sneak a peak at Albedo’s sketchbook and find some very pretty drawings of you and Klee with your sandcastle)

At the end of the day, you guys tuck Klee in and read her a bedtime story (she woke up and insisted). Afterwards Albedo takes you back home and thanks you for coming with you and Klee (which you ofc say wasn’t a problem because how could you not???)

All in all? I’ll give it a solid 10/10. You’ve got tasty food, fun times, your boyfriend and his cute kid adoptive sister (yes I am very biased idc)

🦋Xiao:

I think it would take a lot of convincing to get Xiao to go out on a beach date with you.

He’ll probably see it as a distraction getting in the way of his slaying of monsters and demons.

However, he also worships the grounds you walk on (hehe, simp XD), so I don’t think it’ll take that much convincing on your part (especially because it’s is self appointed duty to keep you safe so if you insist on going with or without him, he supposes he’ll have to go)

Is definitely a bit tense at first. He doesn’t know how to let loose and chill so while you’re sun tanning on a beach chair he’s like 🧍‍♂️ahdgshjsjd

Eventually calms down a bit though! You get him to relax and eat some almond tofu you brought along with you. It definitely gets him to perk up.

I don’t think he would mind getting into the water but I do think he’d rather walk along the shore and collect pretty seashells and sea glass.

He later gives the ones he deems pretties to you (he hands them over to you with a blush on his face and pretends it’s not a big deal and he definitely gets all pouty and grouchy when you coo at how adorable he is)

As for creeps, Xiao is both intimidating and well known in Liyue. No one is brave enough (or, let’s be honest, dumb enough) to approach you with any bad intentions.

Sure, Xiao has sworn never to harm a human/citizen of Liyue but that doesn’t mean he can’t scare the absolute shit out of them.

I think Xiao would definitely enjoy a beach day 🥺🥺. He’d find it very relaxing to go out with you and just hear the sound of waves and feel the sand under his feet.

He’d definitely hint at wanting to do it again later. Of course, he won’t tell you. No, that’s a foolish mortal activity and he has much better things to do.

Wait no, don't turn around, yes he will go with you next month.

All in all, I give Xiao a 9/10. It’s a very relaxing day (which he deserves 😤). And you get to see a whole new side of him.

OK SO ORIGINALLY I WASN'T GONNA WRITE ONE FOR HER (at least not in this post) BUT THEN I THOUGHT OF LADY NINGGUANG TAKING YOU TO A WHOLE ASS PRIVATE BEACH

She knows you don’t care about how exclusive the beach you go to is (in fact, the fact that you don’t care about where you are or what you do is one of the things that make her fall more and more madly in love with you) but you deserve the best so she’s gonna go all out.

She’s a busy lady so days like this where the two of you get to go somewhere and be together are few and far between.

She knows it’s hard to be in a relationship with someone who is busy 24/7, so she appreciates how you remain by her side despite all hardships. (Y’all are a whole ass power couple istg)

The two of you spend your day relaxing. Sun bathing, drinking piña coladas, maybe taking a dip in the ocean. It’s all very pleasant!

Ningguang doesn’t quite feel like the type of person who would sit in the sand and make sandcastle, however you’re more than welcome to make some yourself. She finds it endearing <3

If you insist on her helping, she’ll eventually comply. She loves you too much to say no. I feel like she’ll either be terrible at it or like a total architect.

Sand is technically like tiny rocks right? So maybe she can use her vision to help her? If that’s the case, she’s making a replica of the Jade chamber out of sand.

If any creepy person comes up to you don’t worry. Ningguang will buy the whole beach and then use her right of admission as owner to permanently ban them from the beach you’re at.

The only downside to a day at the beach with Ningguang might be that there’s a big chance she’ll be called to tend urgent matters, seeing as she is the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing and all.

If that does happen, she’ll be sure to make it up to you somehow, whether it be rescheduling or taking care of the matter as soon as possible so that the two of you can get back to your day of relaxation and fun.

All in all?? Lady Ningguang will treat you like total royalty and the two of you will have an amazing time! I give her an 11/10 (she would literally buy a whole beach for you to be comfortable I mean c’mon)

Swimming? Yeah, he’d love to! Sunbathing? Sure! He’ll ever conjure up a light breeze for the two of you. Sandcastle building? WELL OF COURSE WHY DO YOU THING HE BROUGHT ALL THESE BUCKETS AND SHOVELS?

No but seriously, he might be the best person out of everyone here to go to the beach with. He’s fun, free spirited, and he’s a traveling bard who’s been alive long enough to know where all the best beaches in Teyvat are. (He also knows a guy- er, well, dragon I suppose- who is willing to fly them to any place).

He’s a bit shocked when you go beyond your normal one drink, in fact, he’s a little surprised at your demeanor in general - normally you only had a drink if the event warranted it, but today, you seemed to be throwing them back all on your own 

“Did something happen?” he asks you, his attention on the third glass you’ve begged him to pour. 

“Today,” you groan, your words already slurring a little, “was … not. good.” He can see the alcohol already making an impression on your skin. Your cheeks were flushed and you kept fussing with your hair, little strands making their own decisions as if in defiance of your touch. 

“Hmm, well don’t go overboard.” 

Once you reach your fourth drink, we gotta cut you off, too drunky. And worse, you were starting to get a little handsy with the people around you. You’d already given a few of the female patrons a hug goodbye, telling them you were the designated “send-off committee”

In fact, you were having a hard time keeping your hands to yourself especially when it came to Diluc. When he forcibly switched you from wine to water you grabbed onto his arm, or tried to convince him to lean in close so you could share with him a secret - he wouldn’t 

You thought everything was funny, and he often caught you giggling to yourself or chuckling after the small conversation you and he shared 

He wasn’t really on board with your ostentatious behavior, but he did enjoy seeing you smile in the grandiose way you were - unreserved and relentless 

As the evening beings to slow and patrons leave the bar, you were trying to work out a thought in your head. It had been floating around for a while and you weren’t doing a good job keeping it off your face. 

“Hey,” you finally speak up. You wait to finish your thought until Diluc looks at you. He’s been gathering the final glasses from the tables so he takes a bit to react to you. “Come here.” You beckon, uneasily, with your finger for him to walk closer to you. 

When he does, you wave him down so his face is close to yours. 

“You.” You point your finger at him, “are my favorite person.” There is a smirk on your face and playful energy in your eyes. 

He scoffs at you and tries to retreat but you grab his face in your hands, “Wait. Wait. Diluc Ragnvindr ... “ he’s so close to you, his face, his eyelashes, his lips … it’s too much and in defeat you let him go, dropping your head in your hands. “Ugh, you are much too attractive for me right now.” 

“You are a lot of things right now.” You peek your eyes out from over your arms and see him rubbing the back of his neck, his head turned to the side. There is no doubt in your mind he is blushing. 

“You’re blushing!” you shout. The excitement of his reaction is too much to handle. 

“Shut up.” He tosses a towel your way and disappears into the back office. 

Diluc makes a mental note to not let you drink that much in public again, not only is he worried you might do something dumb, but he worries how he will keep his composure

Xiao

Xiao would have no idea what to do with alcohol. He doesn’t touch the stuff, so he wouldn’t really know the common behaviors of inebriated people 

He’d probably take whatever you were drinking and dump it out in front of you the drunker you became - he could barely handle normal humans, let alone a drunk one 

“What are you drinking anyway?” He looks at the bottle, turning it over in his hands. 

“I don’t know, I picked it up on the way out here.” You rub your hands over your face, the wine hasn’t fully hit you but you know with the amount you drank it’s only a matter of time. 

“Is it normal for humans to drink so much, all at once?” 

“Meh, maybe? Today was the worst though, so I’m giving myself permission.” 

It’s hard to tell if he would have any reaction to your tipsy behavior other than being exhausted by it

The way you laugh at things, that to him, aren’t funny or how you try to ask him really silly questions about things he wouldn’t know anything about 

Xiao is prickly, so you’d have to push through a lot of spikes to get to the gentle core he’s given you flashes of, so don’t get offended if he reacts to your clingy-ness in an irritating way 

He just doesn’t let people in very easily, and even though you two are together, and you’ve been physical before, this level of touch might be overstimulating for him 

You look at him from the floor of the inn. He is sitting on a pillow with his eyes closed. There were many nights you spent with him where you just fit yourselves into each other's space, like pieces of a puzzle nestled tightly together. He looked so regal, and you wondered how he would act if you poked at him. 

Carefully, you crawled your way over to him with wobbly limbs. When you got close enough you whispered his name. 

“Xiao…” He opened his eyes and is startled by how close your face is to him. His arms launched to his sides to steady himself as he leaned back away from your proximity. The reaction made you laugh.

“What?” 

“Nothing, I just wanted to get closer to you.” you desperately want to touch him: his cheeks, his forehead, his collarbone, his arms and hands, you wanted to touch them all. The alcohol emboldened you. You scoot closer to him, your sides practically touching, and, in an instant, you wrap your arms around his. The grip you have is possessive. 

He sighs but doesn’t push you away. So you tread onward. You slide behind him and wrap your arms around his chest, each of your legs on either side of him Rubbing your face against his back you breathe him in, he smells like rain after a thunderstorm. 

“I like you.” You place a kiss on his exposed shoulder before resting your cheek against him. 

It’s quiet for a time, all you hear is his beating heart and slow breaths. You don’t expect him to answer you, or say anything, you know he likes you by the way he lets you cling to him like this. That’s all you’ll ever need him to say. 

“Are you always going to be this clingy when you drink?” the question breaks the silence. 

“Mm, possibly, I don’t normally drink this much. Why.” You return his question with your own, slightly tilting his body to the side so you can strain your head to look at his face. 

“No reason.” Even in the dim lighting, you can see the blush on his face. 

Kaeya

Kaeya finds your behavior hilarious. He’d be so enamored with the way you were acting and amazed it happens with only a few drinks of alcohol in you

“You’re putting those away,” he’d muse over his own beverage. 

“Well,” you’d say as you empty yet another glass. “Today sucked! So i’m drowning my stress in sweet, sweet alcohol.” 

“Cheers to that!” 

When you laugh he melts, when you giggle he nearly passes out, and he’s having a hard time not fainting right now. Everything he says to you sends you into a fit of laughter and he just can’t stop himself - he’s obsessed with you and when he can see something new that he’s never noticed before he is filled with pride 

For instance, he didn’t know that when you laugh when drinking that you shield your eyes and nose and let out breathless laughter. He didn’t know that when you had several drinks you started to get louder and louder - which may have annoyed others, but he found it endearing

“... and after finishing the bottle he passed out for three whole days. And that is why our aloof bar owner doesn’t drink.” You can’t help but laugh, you’ve heard this story already but it makes you chuckle every single time. 

“Kaeya, how many times are you going to tell that story…” Diluc warns from behind the counter, his hands dangerously wrapped around the neck of a wine bottle. 

“Oh, come on. Look at how happy it’s made them.” 

“I’m cutting you both off.” 

“Hey!” Even with the cap on your drinking for the night, you couldn’t stifle your laughter. 

Normally, Kaeya is the overly touchy one. His hands cannot keep themselves from your tempting body. So when you cling to him he finds the action rather refreshing 

Wrapping your arms around his, leaning your head on his shoulder or digging it into his arm. Scooting closer to him, practically sitting on his lap, he finds it all a riot - don’t be shocked if he helps you into a comfortable position on or between his legs 

“Kaeya,” you look at him, your head bobbing around, your cheeks the color of pomegranates, and your hair falling out of place. 

“Yes, lovely?” He helps steady you, a possessive hand wrapping around your lower back and his other moving from your shoulder or lower arm, whichever one needs the most support. 

You giggle, and the sound pulls at his heart, “Do you know that you’re handsome? Like, really, really handsome.” 

“I’m glad you think so.” 

“No, listen, it’s kinda ridiculous how attractive you are. LIKE … WhO do you think you are with this face?? hmmM?” You wave your hand in front of him as if to drive home your point. You aren’t sure what answer you wanted from him, but his laughter seems satisfactory enough and you join in shortly after. 

He finds everything you do to be adorable, but multiplied by ten when you start drinking - he will always make sure you have a good time, and as long as you are safe and happy he will be there to join in on the fun

Right after the mach he would start with going to all the spots you two hang out. By the end of the day he will be in tears because he not only couldn't find you anywhere but he didn't take all the onikabuto he found because you're his top priority right now. He ended up falling asleep at one of the spots with the gang members. It's the second day when someone told him that you have been taking by the kujou clan to bait him out do they can arrest him, he will be furious!!!! He was going to fight them head on but the gang had to hold him back, if it wasn't for them the bait would of worked, but now he needs to think with his himbo brain! "Ayato" itto said, while running of towards the kamisato estate, once he fits there he will tell ayato about the situation who just so happens to tell kokomi and the resistance, so now he has not only ayato on his side but a whole army.once they get to the kujou estate they figured out the door is locked, so you know in itto's hangout how he punished the whole bolder well he did that to the FUCKING WALL! well there's there entrance, immediately the kujou gaurds would be alarmed and start to get ready for the attack but, remember itto is still pissed and has a claymore, so no more of them, by the time where they find Sara itto would attack but ayato will hold them back, when ayato tells Sara about the reason they are there Sara is pissed because people of her own army went against a rule not to harm innocent people, just for a dumb Oni, yes itto took offence but now that Sara is telling them to follow her to the police station all hell is loose. Once they get the she is the one to barge down the door and demand a explanation for why they did that. Apparently some soldiers wanted to show off that they caught itto and using you was the only way they thought would work, but atlas it don't work, you were set free and itto was off the hook just this once, ayato had to pay for the damage and kokomi had to Help with healing the other people who itto ' dealt with '. " So that was something" you said while getting a piggy back ride by itto " yeah but hey my little onikabuto" (he called you that once and never stopped) he said stopping mid sentence to see if you were looking at him "anyways, what I was saying is that you are safe now and in good old number 1 itto's arms, well back" he said ignoring your eye roll, "yeah yeah well next time try not to allow you s/o to get kidnapped" you said in return, " yeah I love you too" he said in return, you both ending up laughing at eachother after that and roasting you both, even some of the gang members join in.

When you awaken, the world outside the bedroom window is bright. The faint sound of cars passing on the street below, of a train in the distance.

Even inside, there's signs of life in the way that the aircon breezes out coolly.

But in the warmth of your bed, you see through sleep-hazed eyes that your boyfriends are still fast asleep.

Seeing them so peaceful, without a single worry, warms you.

Especially Xiao, ever so stressed, ever so strong. You admire how he takes matters into his own hands without so much as a word. Quick to do what is right, but also so bad at accepting praise.

His face is settled beside yours, lips parted gently as he breathes. As much as you'd really like to, you don't kiss him—he's a light sleeper, after all.

So instead, you gaze at his features.

It's funny, how both of them are so incredibly breathtaking. All defined jaw and nose, high cheekbones...Xiaos intense golden eyes and Kazuha's soft scarlet ones.

So handsome.

You're easily the luckiest person in all of the world to be theirs.

A stray strand of dark hair falls over Xiao's face and he mumbles something in his sleep. Cute.

Carefully, you raise yourself enough to peek over Xiao to look at Kazuha.

Laying back down, you close your eyes. They're no longer effected by the remnants of sleep.

Thinking of the two sleeping soundly beside you, the temptation to wake them so you can shower then in little kisses and affection grows. But—they are really cute like this, comfortable and relaxed and warm. So instead you sit back up to appreciate them again.

Only to be met by a pair of warm, red eyes and a horribly smug smirk.

The tease slips from his raspy voice, Kazuha now using the pillow he was holding to prop his head up higher.

He looks at the clock on the nightstand behind him, neck craning and untied hair slipping over his shoulder to fall against his back. When he looks back, his eyes are mirthful.

Was...was Kazuha awake this entire time? Who does that? Feigning sleep—

"Sometimes, when the morning light comes in through and illuminates the room, it's nice to close your eyes and appreciate the little things you've been given."

He sits up, one knee bent against his chest so he can prop his chin on it.

"However, you should be more aware of your surroundings as well."

Resisting the very tempting desire to toss a pillow at him, you cover your burning cheeks. Damn Kazuha and his teasing and fantastic voice—

While he is duty-bound to Liyue, he still makes time for you to come and visit your nation. Although his visits can never last long, it’s the thought that counts.

You can Xiao became friends in a rather odd way. You had traveled to Liyue Harbor and your presence had triggered an aggressive response from Xiao. He tried to attack you- an unknown god in his home. Xiao did apologize after the misunderstanding was cleared though.

You don’t make contact with your people very often, much like Rex Lapis, so this leaves you with more time to visit Xiao in Liyue than he has time to come visit you. Unfortunately, you can never stay for very long either. You’re still an archon bound by responsibilities.

Xiao prefers to hang out with you in comfortable silence, reveling in your company as you enjoy the gentle breeze at the top of Wangshu Inn. Sometimes you’ll split an Almond Tofu or have some tea together.

You and Xiao never officially declared your love for each other, your relationship just progressed to that point gradually. You both knew it, there was no need to ‘confess’. Xiao called it a mortal thing, anyway.

You invited Diluc for wine sometime, which is how you learned he didn’t have a taste for alcohol. How interesting, a winery owner who despises wine. You instead invited him for virgin drinks, to suit his tastes. You could go a day without wine, anyway.

Diluc flipped the favor by inviting you to the Angel's Share. You’d been a customer for a long time, he treated you to the drinks the first time you hung out there after all the drunkards had gone. Talking the night away.

You know he’s mortal and that your time with him is going to go by in a blink of an eye. You’ve seen countless centuries go by, so you took careful care to make sure every moment you had with him will be perfectly preserved in your memories.

Little did you know, that day would completely break him. He’d taken you away from everything, locked you in a house, and never let you out. You withered away slowly and painfully, until there wasn’t anything left of you.

Xiao had always been standoffish. But he loved you dearly. He loved you to the ends of the Earth and he made sure it was well known.

There was an attack at the inn. You ended up getting injured during the fight and Xiao lost it. He destroyed everything in his path, strayed from his duty as an adeptus, and took you away. He basically held you captive, telling you he’d never leave you.

You hated what he’d become. You wanted your old Xiao back. The one that was a little too dense, the one who loved almond tofu, the one who cared for and loved you, the one who meant the world to you and made you feel safe. Not this monster.

You quietly ran down the hall, trying to get to the door. But before you could touch the handle, your hand met with a chest. You immediately backed up as Xiao glared at you as you fell and blacked up into the wall.

“No. Of course not.” Childe furrowed his brows and with a frown of his face, shaking his face as if the question Scaramouche just asked him was the most absurd thig he has ever heard.

But then, why couldn’t he just simply answer the question? Why typing those two letters was making his heart beat and hands sweat - and not in the good way. Something deep inside him paralyzed him completely just thinking about sending the word.

“Am I-” He cut himself off before he could voice the rest of his sentence. It was foolish. How could he even think that way? They both agreed, all those months back, that it would be purely physical. It was obvious they were attracted to each other. Just catching each other mid-stare or bluntly flirting whenever they were in the same room. So when, one night, they drank too much wine in Diluc’s bar - much to Diluc’s dismay, it wasn't even surprising when they ended up in Kaeya’s bedroom and had sex. What was surprising was how natural and how good it felt. Childe was sure he was the only one feeling like this but then the next morning he woke up with Kaeya by his side and it actually scared him how right everything that happed seemed to him. And then Kaeya said he basically felt the same and proposed the no strings attached kinda relationship. 

It was perfect.

Neither him nor Kaeya really wanted a relationship. And the sex was so good Childe would be insane to say no to that handsome face. So he agreed of course. And it was incredible. But nothing stays the same and even though the changes weren’t bad he never really thought about how their dynamic changed in just a few months.

At first it was just purely sexual. They’d fuck, tease, joke around and nothing more but then, somehow, depending where they met, they would linger in bed together. Sometimes not saying anything and sometimes talking literally for hours. And then they they were touching more. Not the same touch when they were in the middle of having sex, more casual, natural for them - a little slap or squeeze of the butt, a hand on the thigh in a teasing manner, knees touching when they were sitting close. And after that they were suddenly hugging like it was the most normal thing for them. No matter if they’re in the middle of the street or with friends or if it’s just the two of them. Sometimes Childe would even feel cold when Kaeya had to let go of his hand for a minute.

What surprised him the most, almost knocking all the air out of him when he realised it was how now most of the time they weren’t even having sex when they were together. And it wasn’t a problem. In fact, it was the opposite. They were having so much fun together doing anything. Childe was so happy just hanging out with Kaeya...

Childe had to sit down because he didn’t trust his own legs to keep him standing anymore. All of those feelings and realizations just burying him under their weight. He could feel the wooden door of someone’s home on his back and without thinking just slid down to the ground. It was so much to process, so many overwhelming emotions.

How could he be so stupid? So blind to his own feeling for all this time? Of course everything his friends were saying about him was true. Even a child would be able to figure it out. So why? Why? Why did it took him this long-

“Childe?” A familiar voice pulled him out of his own head. “You okay?” Lumine was crouching in front of him, visibly worried.

He completely forgot she was travelling to Liyue with Diluc. And Childe figured out Diluc was probably already with Zhongli seeing as Lumine was alone here. Even Paimon wasn’t with her right now.

Ah. Lumine. The same Lumine he fought. The same Lumine he loved to jokingly flirt with sometimes, to get under her skin. The same Lumine who might be in love with Kaeya. The same Lumine who might take Kaeya away from him.

He knew he shouldn’t think like that. She always seemed to support both of them and whatever they had going on between them. But he couldn’t help the sudden jealousy. It was reasonable for Kaeya and Lumine to have a good relationship. one fine day zhongli was shopping with childe and he sees you, he fucking sees you with kaeya and his heart sTops pulls zhongli aside into a bush to stalk you and zhongli’s all like “Childe, what are we doing in this bush”

zhongli like i feel he knows Kaeya too? kaeya gets around a lot so he moves over so he can join you and Kaeya-

childe’s in whole ass panic mode wtf zhongli what are you doing you’re gonna blow our cover!!! but follows also because what if zhonglie tELLS

you’re approached by two more men and really, you just want to vibe and get like matcha bubble tea or smth maybe visit diluc but Kaeya suddenly appeared and now zhongli is on his way and why does childe look so flustered??

y’all go thru the whole “oh you know them too!” bs 

zhongli’s glad to catch up with his friends, childe trying to get you to help and trying to tell you it’s hiM but also trying to play it cool (he’s doing a good job tho), you just want to vibe man, and kaeya’s like

but you’re suddenly yanked into someone’s chest

it’s diluc, glaring at Kaeya, doesn’t acknowledge anyone else just drags you away “we’re going on a date”

mmmm it’s your turn to get flustered now

leaves the other three stunned 

zhongli is the first one to recover tho, having seen a cake he wants to try, all but drags childe away

Childe’s too shooketh to do anything so he just gapes at Kaeya and Zhongli as he’s being dragged away while Kaeya waves cutely at him

i want to say kaeya slips his phone number into childe’s pocket but i kind of want childe to pine more and make it even more of a mesS-

but you- after being dragged away and once diluc deems it’s a safe distance away from Kaeya he’s suddenly flustered about holding onto your hands so tightly 

he’s all like “he’s trouble don’t hang w him” not looking at you, there’s tension but you don’t want to push so 

you tease him ofc tf “so a date huh”

and he fucking blushes 

he tries to leave because he just embarrASsed himself but you’re like nooo come back and say you’re gonna go do a thing and would love company?

so diluc agrees to take you, since he doesn't have much else to do- it’s totes not a date tho

plS HAHAHHA you can try to ask him about why he was around but he won’t tell you 

but you’re happy about how things are playing out right now? you’re content to walk beside diluc, a dumb smile plastered on your face
