Old Habits and New Friends.
The one where Y/osano has a cold, and learns how to be okay with this 'weakness' showing in front of her coworkers family. In turn, she learns a bit more about how much they care for her.
So I've been thinking about the beloved bringer of life doctor a lot. She's haunting in every sense and I adore her. Thus, this was born. There's quite a lot of 'character dynamic study' things in this, just fair warning! I love thinking about 'A/DA as a Family' Things <3
Characters: Y/osano, R/anpo, D/azai, K/unikida, F/ukuzawa (briefly) and no ships, this is all platonic-family things <3 Word Count: 2.9k
(References to Y/osano's backstory so slight spoiler warning)
~~~~~~~
As she stands outside the offices of the Armed Detective Agency, Yosano allows herself to take a moment. A gloved hand rubs her nose, trying to fend off the cold that’s been attempting to break her all week. Sickness isn’t a common occurrence for her, but it’s not incredibly rare either. She bites back a cough as she reaches for the handle of the door, sliding into the office with confidence she isn’t quite feeling.
The room is mostly empty, the only other person visible being Ranpo. He’s seated at his desk, munching on some ‘candy of the week’ and scanning the paper. ‘Likely hunting for cases. He managed to irritate the police again so they haven’t come to him for a few days. Seems he’s getting bored.’ Her presence isn’t addressed, though there’s no doubt he knows she’s here.
Another prickle works its way through her chest, barely being contained by a quick throat clear. Pointing herself towards her office, Yosano allows her gait to border on running as she glides towards the safe embrace of privacy. Being sick has never been something she was fond of, even before Mori.
She’s always had the mentality of ‘fight through it, don’t show weakness’. Mori certainly didn’t help with that, stoking her strong personality right alongside the fear of being weak. Even with the ADA, she’d managed to distance if sickness emerged, or fight off anything before it could progress past a mild cold.
“Yosano?”
Freezing, she allows the hope of a clean escape to fizzle away, pasting a smile onto her face as she turns to face Ranpo. ‘Hopefully he just wants a little praise, or help picking a case. Something simple I can finish quickly before he notices I’m… unwell.’ The thought is pointless, he’s been aware from the minute he saw her. She knows this just as much as him. Still, denial is a powerful drug if you want to believe it strongly enough.
“Yes, Ranpo?”
“Help me with these cases. They’re just all so boring! Not worth the trip, I could solve them from here. Is it so much to ask for something interesting to happen?”
“Let me have a look. Hm, what about this one? Three people vanished from the-”
“The most boring of them all! It’s so obvious that it was the ferry captain, and they’ll all be returned safely within the week, it’s some insurance thing.”
“I see. Well then, ma- hehh… maybe the car crash?”
“Open and shut, he was on his phone and fled the scene. He’ll turn himself in tomorrow, the guilt weighing on him. Next!”
“There’s also th- the… hh’keshh-! hk’yieshh’iee-! ih’keshh’ieu-! Excuse me, sorry.”
She ducks into her arm for the fit, turning as far from Ranpo as possible. When she spins back with the apology falling off her tongue, Ranpo has leaned forward, eyes showing under the brim of his hat. He’s looking her over in a way she’s painfully familiar with: studying her. After a moment he lets the nonchalant look rest over his face once more, eyes ducking back under his hat.
“It’s fine. Unlike my boredom. Find me an interesting case, I’m running out of snacks!”
“Is that how we ask for things?”
“Mmm… fine. Please find me an interesting case.”
“Better. I mean- it’s quite difficult since you’re so talented at solving them but… hold on- ek’teshh’ieu-! Scuse me. Maybe this one?”
“That one is al- oh actually, I didn’t see that one before.”
“You’re welcome then. So is it worthy of your-”
Breaking off, Yosano spins around again, aiming the cough towards her arm once more. She lets her thoughts wander as it pours out. ‘Damn it, I was hoping to hold out a little longer. This cold might be stronger than I gave it credit for, but I’m still tougher. I can take it.’ Ranpo has remained silent, but as she turns back he meets her gaze with a smile.
“You want a candy?”
“No, I’m okay. Thank you though.”
“I think you should have a candy. It’s exactly what you need right now.”
“Well alright, since you insist…”
Grin forming, Ranpo reaches into his desk and pulls out a bright wrapper, holding it out in his palm. A blush creeps across Yosano’s face as she recognizes the brand of cough drop. She takes it, turning it over between her fingers before popping it in her mouth. In an effort to change the topic from the direction it’s steering in, she dawns a playful smirk.
“You shouldn’t be eating these like sweets, you know. They’re not bad for you, but they are still medicine.”
“Don’t worry, I don’t snack on them. I just keep them around in case…”
“Good to hear. And uh… thank you, Ranpo.”
“No problem!”
The innocent tone is a comfort and she offers a smile in return. The taste of honey offers a soothing relief against her throat, but does nothing for the buzzing in her nose. Rubbing a finger against it, she allows a single sniff before dropping her hand again. She chews up the cough drop, surprise crossing her features as Ranpo lets out a laugh.
“I thought I was the only one who did that!”
“Did what..?”
“Chewed them up. You’re supposed to suck on them, but I’ve always liked chewing them.”
“Oh, yeah! Actually… you are supposed to let them linger. It’s better for you that way, you get to absorb more of the effects, but I’ve never had the patience for thhahh… that. hH’ieshh’iue-! hk’eshhii-! ek’zieshh’ieu-!”
“Shouldn’t you be at home resting?”
The laughter they had been sharing fades immediately. Her body language veers to defensive, arms crossing over her chest. The change doesn’t go unnoticed by Ranpo as he sits up in the chair, head tilting down to meet her eyes. All smiles are gone, instead her face is tight, a tense calm resting over it as Ranpo offers something unreadable.
“I’m fine to work.”
“I didn’t say you weren’t. I asked if you should be resting.”
“No. I don’t need to rest, I’m f- fine… hh’eNG’shh-! ek’tnngt-!”
“Hey… you don’t need to do that.”
“Do- hn’tngt-! what?”
“You know what I mean. There’s no need to do that, okay?”
Yosano pales a little, but gives a tight nod as she feels the tickle swell once more. ‘It’s okay. It’s okay with Ranpo, it’s… it’s okay.’ She lets the words repeat in her head, arms slowly uncrossing as she raises one to her face, leaning away from Ranpo again.
“hk’iESHh’ihh-! heh’KSHHii-! heh- kn’TIEZSHhh’iue-!”
Without a word Ranpo abruptly stands, starting to walk towards the couch. He gestures for her to follow, and with a hint of hesitation, she does. Once they reach it, Ranpo sits first, choosing a position at one end of it, before motioning next to him. She follows the direction once more, still hesitant, trying to figure out where this is going.
She sinks down onto the couch, posture tight, each muscle tensing. ‘What is he going for here… is he trying to put me at ease? It’s not working if so… b- but that’s not like him. There’s got to be some goal. Some plan he’s putting to work based on deductions about me and my health. Maybe he’s-’ Before she can finish the thought a sensation rips her from the spiral.
Ranpo has one hand running down her back, calm eyes peeking out from behind his hat. It’s as if he’s waiting for her reaction before continuing. She lets herself go limp, releasing the tension that had been gripping her. A small smile slips over his features, his other hand coming up and guiding her head down to his shoulder. Before she can process the change, she finds herself relaxing into his touch.
“I’m gonna keep looking for cases. You are gonna rest.”
“You’re not the boss of me.”
Even as the words form on her lips she feels her eyes flutter shut, leaning deeper into Ranpo’s shoulder. True to his word, he begins rambling about cases, explaining the ones that are too easy, and pondering on the ones he’d need to see the scene to figure out. Yosano lets herself drift into the sounds of the office, worry fading away.
~~~
After a few minutes the door slams open, Dazai waltzing in. He freezes at the sight of them, hands in his pockets as he surveys the scene. Yosano pops up quickly, careful to tighten her expressions once more as she feigns nonchalance, letting her legs cross and one arm droop over the couch. The safety she felt with Ranpo has evaporated, her relationship with Dazai not solid enough to allow it to remain.
Weakness has never been something she’s okay with others seeing, and Ranpo was the first it truly felt okay with. Dazai though… while she doesn’t dislike the man, she’s hesitant to let him see her in that state.
‘I see Mori in him sometimes… Just- in the small things. The way he carries himself, how he plans, the expressions he’ll choose to wear. Though… I often wonder if he feels the same about me. I know he isn’t the same, and I shouldn’t be treating him like he is… but…’
She lets her eyes drift to his face, expecting some form of taunt to spill out at any time. Instead, much to her surprise, his usually unreadable expression softens and without a word he places himself on the free side of her.
Her gaze tracks each movement, hand raising to her mouth as another cough starts to break through. Through it all, Dazai remains silent, posture very cautiously relaxed in that deeply rehearsed method she’s all too familiar with.
The coughing tampers off, the itch in her nose taking this as a perfect time to re-emerge. For a minute she considers suppressing it, but Ranpo’s hand still gently rubbing her back provides enough comfort to let it out against her arm.
“hh’KSHH’iee-! hk’ESHH’iue-! hahhh- tnSHH’ihh-! ‘Scuse me.”
“Bless you.”
“Th- thank you.”
The blessing comes as a surprise, and she finds herself thanking him out of instinct. She still holds a reasonable amount of caution, but there’s something… almost soft about the expression he’s wearing. As she lets out another sniffle, he points a measured look in her direction, before muttering something.
“Sorry, didn’t quite catch that?”
There’s a noticeable pause as Dazai’s cheeks gain a hint more colour than before. He raises his gaze to meet hers, and clears his throat before speaking again. Yosano can’t help but feel a rush of protectiveness as the voice that comes out sounds almost timid.
“I just asked if you were feeling okay?”
Yosano wants to say yes. Everything inside her is screaming to say yes. ‘Deny till the very end, don’t show weakness, don’t admit flaws. Tell him that you’re fine, and then be fine. We don’t tolerate weakness in our soldiers.’ But… something about the cautious look on his normally collected face washes every image of Mori from her mind.
Dazai is nothing like him, no, he’s just like her. Taken in way too young by a person with no intentions of saving them. Never given the chance to be anything other than what he planned for.
She had managed to find something special here; to become someone special here. Someone that’s good, and kind, and her. And watching Dazai’s actions since he joined… seeing the look on his face now… well, maybe he’s trying to find that too.
“Not really. I have a bit of a cold. hih’ISHhiee-! aisHH’iew-! hk’SHH’iue-! hh’KSHH’ih-!”
“Bless you.”
“Wow, even I couldn’t get her to admit to illness out loud.”
Up until now Ranpo had remained silent, watching the interaction play out. However, upon her admittance, he gives a low noise, somewhere between a chuckle and a gasp. At the statement Yosano turns to him, Dazai’s eyes following suit, and gives him a light smack.
“Hey! That hurt…”
“Oh really? Are you- injured now? Because I can certainly help with that if youuu…”
“No! No, no I think I’m okay.”
Laughter bubbles from her chest as she lets her head dip to rest once more against Ranpo’s shoulder. Dazai joins in with a light chuckle of his own, leaning back into the couch. Not a minute passes until Yosano’s sitting up again, another set of sneezes tumbling out into her waiting arm.
“hh’KSHHiee-! aiiyshhh’iue-! hehh’tizshh’iue-! Excuse me.”
“Bless. Hang on.”
With that Dazai stands up, walking over to his desk and starting to aggressively rummage through the drawers. Ranpo and Yosano watch it unfold, neither sure what he’s doing, until he returns, triumphantly holding a pack of tissues above his head.
“Thought you might want these!”
“I didn’t know you kept tissues in your desk?”
“Yeah, well… never know when they might come in useful. Placing them in Kunikida’s belongings when he comes in with the sniffles is particularly fun.”
“You’ve done- hH’TSHH’iee-! ‘Scuse me. Done that before?”
“Of course! This one time I bought a bunch of identical packs, then kept leaving one on his chair in the same exact position every time he left the room! When he asked, I always said I didn’t know what he meant. Ended up going home early cause he was sure he was losing his mind!”
By this point Ranpo is leaning against Yosano, the couch shaking with laughter. Dazai shoots them a wicked smile, tossing the pack at the couch, which she catches easily. Attempting to suppress laughter of her own, she wears a fake glare, pointing it first at Dazai before turning it to Ranpo.
“Boys, that’s not nice.”
“Maybe not, but it sure is hilarious. Besides, he’s the one who forces me to do paperwork on a weekend! Way I see it, he’s asking for a little torment.”
Yosano just sighs, pulling a few tissues out as she directs another “hih’KSHH’ihh-! tiezshh’iue-! hk’ISHH’iee-!” into the soft folds before lightly blowing. Grimacing at the quality of it, she coughs a few times before sucking it up and blowing again.
Ranpo gives her a sympathetic smile before turning back to the paper, dead to the world once more as he surveys cases. Yosano turns her attention back to Dazai as he drops back onto the couch beside her.
“That was gross, sorry…”
“Don’t worry about it. You should hear me in the spring.”
“You have allergies? I… ih’KSHH’iee-! I never noticed-”
“Bless you. You wouldn’t have. I take meds most of the time, or if it’s a really bad pollen day I tend to just avoid the office. Hah! It drives Kunikida insane.”
“Does it now?”
“He still doesn’t know why I don’t come in during the spring on seemingly random days! I make sure to pick a few days where pollen is low too so he can’t track the pattern. I also make up excuses that he can tell are lies, but can’t actively disprove!”
There’s a deep seated glee in his voice as he describes all the details of how he torments Kunikida. Yosano can’t help smirking at the boyish nature of the teasing. It’s cut short by another coughing spell, ducking down into her lap.
This time she feels two hands grazing her back. One is absentmindedly rubbing circles, the other is hesitant but gentle. A yawn escapes as it comes to an end, Ranpo looking up from the paper.
“I told you so! I said you should be resting!”
“Yes you did. Right as always Ranpo. I guess… I should probably go home…”
‘But… I don’t really want to… Home is empty. It always feels cold, even with the heat on. But here… with them… this feels warm…’ She doesn’t say any of this out loud, but there’s no need for that. They both know. While Dazai may not have Ranpo’s deduction skills, he sees more than most.
Slowly they start to shift positions until her head is resting against Ranpo’s lap, her legs strewn over Dazai as he slides in next to Ranpo, echoing her earlier yawn. ‘That man is able to fall asleep anywhere. I’m quite jealous of that skill.’ Letting her tension start to fade away, Yosano feels a sigh escape. She melts into the warm embrace, drifting off to sleep. Dazai quickly follows suit, his head dropping onto Ranpo’s shoulder.
~~~
About an hour later the door swings open once more, this time Kunikida stepping inside. At the sight of Yosano and Dazai sleeping, he opens his mouth to make a remark. Ranpo shuts him down with a single look, tilting his head to let his eyes show once more. He’s careful not to disturb them, quiet as he begins to speak.
“Don’t wake them. They need this.”
“But-”
Kunikida cuts himself off, pushing up his glasses as he seems to sort through his ideals in his head. Ranpo patiently waits, letting his arm rest against Dazai’s shoulder as the younger man shifts. Eventually the peaceful look on their faces seems to sway Kunikida as he grabs a book and sinks down beside Dazai, beginning to read it. Yosano stirs, a few sleepy sneezes brushing from her lips.
“hh’ishh-! kishhh-! heh’tieshh-!”
“Bless.”
The blessing Kunikida offers is timid, volume matching that of the sneezes. A smirk crosses Ranpo’s face as he watches Kunikida attempt to keep his face neutral. Yosano mumbles a thanks before curling back into herself and drifting back off.
~~~
By the time the president walks in, he finds all four of them asleep, a tangled mess of limbs and snores. They should be working, it’s nearly two on a Thursday, but he can’t bring himself to wake them. Content spreads through his heart, a smile breaking through to his face as he grabs a blanket from beside the couch and lays it over them.
“Sleep well, children.”

Yandere Sim Male Rivals dealing with the, 'me, my s/o, and their 500 dollar life sized mareep plush' meme being their reality.
Characters: Osano, Amao, Kizano, Oko, Aso, Osoro, Megamo.
Contains: g/n reader, not proofread, fluff. At least five of the guys having beef with a plushie.
Osano.
"What the hell is that."
^ exact words he said when you came home with the adorable pokemon plush.
Despite his harsh words he does think the sheep is cute.
He will complain, like a lot.
"Move the damn sheep." He says loudly as he tries to get comfy in bed. You groaned slightly and moved the sheep to the other side of you. "Thank-" he stops himself as you turn your back to him! "Y/n." He calls out. You turn again to face him, bringing the Mareep to face him too. "Yes?" You ask, a grin slowly growing. "...whatever." He says turning his back to you, 'two can play that game' he thinks.
Two actually cannot play that game. In the morning you found him turned facing you, holding the Mareep tight. You snicker to yourself as you take a photo of him.
Amao.
He's not particularly the biggest fan of mareep, however, he does understand how much the plush means to you.
I'd imagine he'd try to convince you to move mareep somewhere else like, "Why don't we move Mareep to the couch so they can watch TV?"
^when that obviously didn't work. He accepted his fate.
You had just wrapped up closing the bakery for the day and headed upstairs in order to destress and enjoy the rest of your evening. You headed into your room to pick out pajamas, when you saw it. Amao carefully making the bed and placing Mareep front and center on the freshly made bed. "There!" He said with a smile. Your heart melted and you practically tackled him in a bear hug for his kindness toward Mareep.
Kizano.
He actually hates the sheep. No secret love of it or anything.
He thinks mareep is ugly and takes up too much space in bed.
It's the dead of night, you're sleeping peacefully in bed curled up with mareep. Kizano had just got home from a late night film shoot. He did his skincare routine and prepared for bed, but as he gets into bed he feels an unfamiliar lump in the bed. He tries not to make much noise as he pulls back the blanket and investigates the lump....
It's an ugly sheep?
He blinks in confusion for a few moments then simply casts the sheep aside to the ground, adjusting his body to replace the sheep's former place in your arms.
In the morning he pretends not to know of the plushie when you point out it must've fallen in the middle of the night.
"What plushie, my love?"
Bs.
Oko.
I think he'd just get depressed.
Like, I think he'd get self conscious. He really does like snuggling with you late at night, it's even better than summoning demons to him! But now all you do is snuggle Mareep.
Is he not good enough?
You only find out about his feelings towards Mareep during a late night while your a cleaning a stain off her.
"Hey.. Why don't we leave Mareep somewhere else, because she's dirty..?" Oko asks cautiously. You giggle slightly at the thought. "Nah! I'm sure I can clean her up enough!" You replied, dead set on removing the stain. "...great..." He whispers. "What was that?" You question. "I mean great! It'd be a shame if you couldn't cuddle them." He elaborates, but you know Oko, and you know when he's lying, so you decide to toy with him a little. "Well, if I couldn't get the stain off I'd just cuddle with you probably." You say 'off handedly'. "..oh so now you'd want to cuddle with me...." He mutters under his breath. You gasp finally putting the pieces together. "You're jealous of Mareep!" You exclaim loudly. His face turns flush from embarrassment, "..no." He replies turning his face away from you. A common tell of him hiding his feelings. "Well, if you are jealous of Mareep, which I know you're not, I would want you to know that I only got Mareep because I got lonely those nights you would run off to summon demons..." You confess, awkwardly looking down. "Oh, well, uhm, I'm not going out tonight.." He says and your eyes sparkle a little. "Get over here!" You say with a small smile, pushing Mareep to the side and holding Oko closely.
Aso.
LOVES THE DANG MAREEP.
He does however unintentionally abuses the Mareep. Think accidentally sitting on it, using it as a table, etc.
he says sorry to the Mareep everytime.
Throws it in the air really high that it hits the ceiling, BUT he does catch it!
It was a rare occasion where Mareep was chilling on the end of the bed while you and Aso cuddled. Right as the familiar embrace of sleep enveloped you both, a familiar thud was heard. "Aso, Aso, you kicked Mareep off the bed." You said while rubbing his shoulder to try and awaken him. He groaned "huh? Oh shoot! My bad..." He whispered, getting out of the warm bed and picking Mareep up from the floor. You giggled slight at the sight of him placing it carefully onto the bed and returning to your side.
Osoro.
Intentional Mareep abuse. Have you seen those tik toks of squishmallow girls' boyfriends beating up their squishmallows instead of just like, hugging it? Yeah that's Osoro.
HE DOESN'T HATE MAREEP THOUGH! Shockingly (heh get it) he likes the plushie.
"Osaro you're so mean! Mareep didn't do nothin' to you!" You exclaim with a gasp as he absentmindedly punches the mareep. "He's an inanimate object Y/n, he can't feel pain." Osaro replies while punching the Mareep again.
But like Kizana he is not above tossing it a side in order to cuddle with you.
Unlike Kizana he wouldn't put it on the floor but just to the side opposite of the one you're laying on.
Osaro tossed and turned in the middle of the night, to say he had a rough dream would be the least to say. He tries to move closer to you but is blocked by the giant Mareep. Grunting he grabs the Mareep and tosses it to where he was formerly laying. He wraps his arms around your waist and sighs. Now that he's in your arms his dreams seem nicer, even if that does sound silly.
Megamo.
He's a busy guy, being the heir to a mega corp, having his own passions, it's a lot on his plate. So most days he come home by the time you're already asleep.
I doubt he noticed you owned a life sized Mareep until one day...
Once again, we begin our story in the dead of night, you're tucked in, nice and warm. Meanwhile Megamo had just came in from the frigid rainstorm outside. He wasn't all too wet so he just changed clothes and headed to bed. Little did he know, the lump he was cuddling was not you.
In the morning, Megamo was face to face with a sheep's face instead of yours. To say he was a little upset would be an understatement.
He tries bribery, offering you any normal sized plushie you want.
He tries threatening saying that since you're cuddling Mareep you can't cuddle with him.
He even thinks about just throwing it out. But he knows how much it means to you. So he just silently moves it to the couch everyday, and every evening it's back on *his spot* on the bed.
He despises that damn sheep.

Me and Taeko are walking to school like usual, but something is different. She's frantically texting someone on her phone. I can see her expression change from a happy one to a worried one.
I decide not to ask since it could be something private, but I can't help but to worry.
She looks up from her phone and finally speaks to me,"They burnt down the bakery."
I tilt my head in confusion,"What?"
"Amao's bakery! Someone came by last night and burned it to the ground!" Taeko explains with tears in her eyes.
"Wait, so the whole building is gone?" I ask with concern.
She taps on her phone and shows me a picture. The picture shows what's left of the bakery, but it's not much except a bunch of black rubble.
"Oh...wow," I respond in disbelief.
Taeko's tears keep on flowing. My frown deeps at her reaction.
"Taeko, I don't think you should go to school," I tell her, "you'll be crying the whole day, and I doubt you'll be able to do any work."
"I-I don't think my parents would let me stay," she says through her tears.
"Let's go to my house and rest there, alright?"
"Okay."
We head back down the street and to my house. My parents are at work, so nobody will be there. I look down at Taeko's crying form, and I can't help but to wrap my arm around her. I hope this can bring some comfort to her. She walks closer to me as she wipes her tears away.
When we make it to my house, I unlock the door, and we both walk inside. I walk up the stairs, and she follows me. I open up my bedroom and we both enter.
"Go lay down," I tell Taeko as she steps in.
She lets out a small 'okay' and goes over to my bed. She sits down on my bed and takes off her shoes. She lays down and throws my blanket over herself.
"Do you want anything?" I ask her as I approach the bed.
She shifts her body, so she's now facing me.
"I'm kind of in the mood for ice cream. Do you have any?" She shyly asks as she looks up towards me.
"I think I have some. Let me go check," I tell her before leaving the room.
I go downstairs and into the kitchen. I open up the freezer and look for any ice cream. Fortunately, I'm able to find a pint. I head back upstairs with the pint, a spoon, and a napkin.
When I walk inside my room, I can see Taeko cuddled up with my blankets. I go over to her and place down what I brought. She looks up towards me and starts to get up.
She reaches out for the ice cream and spoon. She pops open the lid and starts to eat it.
"So... I didn't know you were friends with Amao," I state as I watch her.
She looks over to where I'm standing while she scoops up another spoonful of ice cream.
"I met him last week," she softly responds.
"Last week?" I question as I slightly tilt my head to the side,"I thought he wasn't here last week?"
"I didn't meet him in school," she tells me as she shifts her gaze away from me and then onto the floor.
"Then where did you meet him?" I ask as I take a seat on a nearby chair.
"Well, on Friday, I went into town to try and make myself feel better. After everything with Osano, I wanted to at least feel happy. I was sitting on a bench, and then Amao came up to me. He sees that I'm unhappy and offers me a cookie. We talked for a bit, and then we found out that we go to the same school," she explains.
"That makes sense. I guess, the two of you got close in a short time."
"Yeah..."
We both sit in silence, and I can't help but to feel a bit awkward. I never felt this before, but it feels like there is tension in the air. I look down to my feet, everting my eyes away from Taeko.
"(Y/N)..."
I hear my name leave her lips, but it's drained from any enthusiasm. I slowly look up to her.
"Yeah?"
"I think I need to tell you something," she says as she places the spoon and ice cream to the side.
"What is it?"
"You remember the note?"
"Yeah, of course I do. It still confuses me."
"I want to talk about the note from my friend."
"What do you mean? Didn't we clear that up?" I ask with confusion, I thought we were past that.
"My friend didn't send it, and she doesn't exist. The note was from me," she confesses as she shyly looks up to me.
"What?"
"The note you were supposed to get was from me, and I swear I put it in your locker. It had to be ours. There's no way I could get it wrong!"
"Does that mean?"
She takes a deep breath before looking at me,"Yes, it does. I'm in love with you, (Y/N). I was waiting on that hill for you, but you never came to me... I went home scared and heartbroken..."
"Oh, Taeko," I get up from my chair and go over to the bed,"You should've told me."
She looks up towards me with a glimmer of hope within her dark eyes,"Does that mean?"
Oh no...
"Taeko, I'm happy that you're telling me how you're feeling, but I don't think I feel the same," I admit to her. I can see the small hope in her eyes shatter at my words.
Tears start to appear in the corner of her eyes, and she starts to cry. She covers her face with her hands.
"I'm sorry that I don't love you the same way," I softly tell her.
"It-its okay. I-I can't ex-expect you to feel the same way," she struggles with her words, but I can still hear her even with all the pain in her voice.
I move closer to her and wrap my arms around her. She leans in closer to my touch and sobs into my chest.
The sounds of her heartbreak echos throughout my room. Giving my ears a harsh reminder that I was the one who did this.
The sobbing continues, but within five minutes, it dies down. Now, soft sniffles can be heard. I'm lost in my head as I keep hugging Taeko.
"(Y/N), you now have to tell me the truth."
I'm snapped out of my thoughts and look down at Taeko.
"What do you mean?"
"How come you always leave during lunch?"
Should I come clean now? She told me the truth about how she felt, but should I tell her about what Ayato did to me?
No, I can't. If I tell Taeko, she's going to get mad at Ayato and reject him. If that happens, then he is going to take his anger out on me. I can't have that happening.
"I got attacked," I lie to her.
"What?" She asks in disbelief.
"When I was in town, someone came up behind me and threatened to hurt me if I didn't give them my things. I gave him some of my stuff, but he still hurt me," I tell her as the lie flows out of my mouth.
"That's horrible," she tells me, "I'm sorry that happened to you."
"It's fine, but I go to the nurse's office to get my wound checked," I explain to her.
"When you kept leaving during lunch, I thought... nevermind," she trails off before ending her statement.
"What did you think?" I question. I'm interested to see what she thought.
"I just thought that you got tired of me, that's all," she admits with shyness.
"Why would you think that?"
"I feel I've been really clingy towards you. When Osano came back, I thought I would become less clingy, but he doesn't talk to me anymore... I just thought you got tired of me consistently being with you that you left to have some alone time."
"You're not clingy, Taeko. I really enjoy having you around. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner about where I was going."
"It's not your fault, I just wish I wasn't so clingy with you. When Osano was gone, I started to feel lonely. I know that people admire me, but no one really comes up to talk with me. Ever since you came into my life, I started to feel happy, and I just got too attached to you."
"Do you think that's why you cried over Amao?" I propose the idea to her.
"Actually... yeah. I think that's why I cried since he won't be coming to school anymore, so that means one less friend for me," she tells me while wiping off a few tears from her face.
"Taeko, don't cry over that. You'll always have me, okay? I hate seeing you like this. Isn't there anything that you want to do to make you happy?" I ask, hoping to make her feel better.
"Well, I heard that there's this play, and they are doing their last show tonight. Can we go and watch it?"
"Of course, anything for you."

Quick A/N (Owner 2):
Hello! Owner 2 here, I just wanted to say thank you for viewing our account so far! I want to quickly explain something about this one-shot. This one-shot mentions killing. In this, both Ayato (Ayano) and Y/N are Yanderes. I've made it so Osano (Osana) likes Ayato  and where Osorō likes Y/N type of thing. Disclaimer the female rivals in this are males to fit the story.
Kohai= Underclass men/younger
Senpai=Upperclass men/older
_________________________________________________________
The rush of adrenaline coursed throughout Ayato's body, his thirst for killing his fellow rivals growing each time one of them interacted with HIS senpai. He balled his fists, watching Osorō talk with Y/N from afar. A small growl fell from his lips, he just wanted Osorō gone and for good in that matter. Y/N laughed a little, crossing his arms in response, trying to mimic the delinquent boy's moves.
This made Ayato furious, his mind completely fogged. All that was on his mind was ripping the delinquent apart, putting him back together, then ripping him apart all over. He stomped off, leaving the other two boys there.
Y/N's POV:
I was having a great time with Osorō, mocking him was one of my favourite things to do. It was funny watching him get all flustered from embarrassment..But I already miss MY Kohai dearly. What if he's with another girl..or guy even?!
End of Y/N's POV:
Y/N panicked slightly, looking at Osorō as he spoke softly. "Uh Osorō, I just forgot, I was meant to go meet up with someone. I'll talk to you later." He smiled, the blonde sighed and nodded. "Be safe Y/N." After the two said their goodbyes, Y/N left and set off to find his beloved Kohai. He walked around the hallways, coming to a halt when he suddenly heard Ayato's..but also Osano's voice? He hid around the corner, listening in on their conversation.
"Senpai! Where were you? You're late..again.." The orange haired boy mumbled, Ayato letting out a small chuckle in response. "Sorry, sorry. I got a little..caught up.." he muttered, his mind suddenly flashing back to the sight of both Y/N and Osoro laughing with each other and looking so happy. His face turned slightly pale, the thought of losing his Senpai, all cause of one stupid delinquent.
Osano blabbered on about how Ayato was late, whilst he himself was off with the fairies. He was suddenly pulled out of his trance when he heard nearby foot-steps fade, his eyes lingering over to the sound as he watched Y/N walk away, past him. He smiled a little, at this point staring the boy off as he walked into the distance.
"Senpai! Were you even listening?" Osano asked, slightly irritated.  Ayato nodded a little and looked back at him. "Yeah. Hey I'll see you later.." he said, before he suddenly jogged after Y/N, Osanos mouth gaped ever so slightly as he watched Senpai run off with no explanation or anything.
Ayato's POV:
I run after Y/N, calling out to them as I soon catch up, clearly out of breath. "Hey Y/N.." I pant, smiling sheepishly as I slowly stand back up right, looking over at him. My heart is racing a million miles per hour..I'd always get this weird feeling in my gut every time I spoke to Y/N in person. It makes me really happy for some weird reason.
End of Ayato's POV:
Y/N stopped dead in his tracks when he heard Ayatos voice, a slight smile appeared as he slowly turned around and looked at the younger boy with a slightly raised brow. "Ayato. What's up?" Y/N asked. "I was uhm..going to ask if you wanted to hangout at my place later  on after school?" Ayato responded.
Y/N's POV:
Did I hear him right? Kohai invited me to hangout after school with him..just me and him. I immediately nod in response. "Sure, why not." I smiled, keeping myself calm so I didn't start freaking out over the fact that me and Ayato were going to be spending time with each other all alone...and at his house.
End of Y/N's POV:
The two boys were both beyond happy, both of them slowly getting what they wanted, apart from certain obstacles blocking their paths which they would both discard of very soon. Who would've known that the two love struck boys had both happened to have an unhealthy obsession with one another.
(Part 2)
As the remaining few periods of the school day ended, Y/N made his way out of his classroom and walked down the hallway to the lockers. When he arrived, he put his books away and grabbed out his bag before shutting his locker door as he made his way outside whilst waiting for Ayato.
Ayato's POV:
At the end of the day, I quickly scurried to my locker after being held back for some idiotic reason. Once I grab my stuff, I shut my locker door and quickly make my way outside before I glance around for my Senpai..there he is! My eyes land on the perfect boy. I smile and wave at him. "Y/N!" I called out and went over to him.
End of Ayato's POV:
Y/N's POV:
I look up from my phone, hearing my name being called out. I look to see Ayato not even a few metres away from me. I smile a little, my heart racing ever so slightly. I felt butterflies in my stomach, it was such a warm and fuzzy feeling. "Hey Ayato." I respond softly.
End of Y/N's:
The two boys begin to make their way out of school, starting to head over towards Ayato's house. After a bit of time, they soon arrived at his house. Y/N taking a moment as he glanced around the house. He still couldn't believe that he was spending time with his crush outside of school, let alone in his house!
Y/N took his shoes off, setting them to the side as Ayato does the same before he walked into the kitchen with Y/N following. "Make yourself at home Senpai. Would you like something to drink?" Ayato asked, Y/N nodding in response as he responded with "Yeah, just some water will be fine for me thanks." He smiled. Ayato filled the glass up with water before he placed it down on the counter as Y/N took some sips occasionally as they made small talk.
Some hours passed, the two boys were sitting on the couch, Laughing and talking happily to one another. Both of them are more in love with each other the minute goes by...Y/N couldn't help but stare at Ayato, his eyes slightly dilated. This is when Ayato noticed, he looked him dead in the eyes as he spoke softly. "So...is there anyone you like?" He asked, Y/N snapping out of his trance as he nodded a bit. "Mhm..what about you?" He responded, earning a nod also from Ayato.
 Ayato's POV:
I tense up, slight anger ran through me when I heard his response. Who did Senpai like? Was it Osoro? That fucking bastard-. I keep myself calm. "Who do you like?" I asked, keeping myself together.
End of Ayato's POV:
Y/N's POV:
I listened to his question, suddenly raising a brow as I sighed a little bit. I took a moment before I spoke up. "I like you." Was all I said. I watched Ayato's cheeks grow redder in colour, a small chuckle fell from my lips. 'Cute..' I thought to myself.
End of Y/N's POV:
Ayato sat there, looking up from his lap as he smiled a little bit. All that anger and fear he held almost a moment ago faded within seconds when he heard Y/N's confession. "I like you too Y/N...very much." The raven male hummed contently.
Ayato's POV:
I just confessed to him- the one person who I loved most also has feelings for me as-well. I still don't believe it. Without hesitation, Y/N gently cupped my cheeks, placing his soft lips on mine. I rest my hands on his chest, smiling a little bit.
End of Ayato's POV:
Y/N's POV:
I kissed Ayato softly, slowly pulling back after a few moments as I looked straight into his dark eyes, a sudden wave of warmth hitting my body. Words couldn't describe how happy I was. I'd been waiting for this moment ever since I laid my eyes on him.
End of Y/N's POV:
Both Ayato and Y/N shared another tender kiss. The atmosphere is calm and quiet as the two boys cuddle close, Y/N whispering into Ayato's ear quietly. "I love you...so much.." Ayato smiled, looking up at the boy with a soft expression. "I love you more.." he muttered.
Both of them got their happy endings, well for the moment at-least.

slow burn // one
pairing: lucas samos x nymph!female!reader
summary of chapter: y/n osanos found about her engagement through the red servants' gossip. after months of trying to convince her uncle, lord osanos, to call it off, it's revealed that they have to move the wedding up.
content of chapter: anger, irritation, arguing, the older adults are like the worst people ever, use of y/n, arranged marriage, like one swear word, reader is looked down upon, reader is mean to lucas
word count: 1.9k
Y/N was to marry the Samos boy. There was nothing anyone, including Y/N herself, could do to stop it from happening. She had been trying for months since the news broke to her, news she only found out when she had overheard Red servants while passing by the kitchens late one night. When she had pressed them to find out how they had figured this news out, they were hesitant to tell her, never having seen the young woman so angry before. She wasn’t known for speaking harshly to the help despite most of the other Silver’s doing so. When they finally broke and spilled that it had come straight from the mouth of her uncle, Lord of the House Osanos, she had been speechless. She knew she had to stop it from happening.
“House Samos is full of brutes and maniacs,” she had tried to reason. This only made her parents and uncle angry, all of them becoming even angrier when Volo and his own family had walked in only seconds later, obviously having overheard her comment. He had sneered at her before walking past her, nearly knocking her down in his movements. Ptolemus and Evangeline, his children, seemed not to care too much about her thoughts. The eldest of Volo’s children had only smirked over to her, eyes shining like a cat chasing its prey, while Evangeline looked rather bored. It was Lucas, their cousin and the man she was supposed to marry, who seemed to be the odd one out, looking equally as annoyed as the nymph girl.
Y/N ignored them all and turned to leave the room, knowing whatever they were to speak about she had no say in anyways. It was when she reached for the door, hand resting on the doorknob to pull it open, when she nearly had a heart attack.
“The wedding has to be moved up.” Volo announced to the room. This was unexpected. Everything had been planned to happen within a set number of days. There would be a welcome party for guests two days before, a ladies’ tea and gentlemen’s social hour the day before, then the beautiful wedding. Lucas was to go with the royal family back to Archeon and his wife was to follow. Y/N was supposed to have at least a few more weeks to get used to the idea that she would have to spend the rest of her life tied to someone she didn’t even know.
“What?” She turned to the rest of the room. It didn’t look like Lucas was surprised by this, something that made her scowl. He obviously was given more information and say about his life than she was. He was slightly older than her, and it helped that he was a male in one of the High Houses. Everyone, sometimes including the younger Silvers, looked down on her or at the very least underestimated her. She wasn’t the best in training, having struggled to control her ability until an older age than most. She had excelled in Protocol, but the only person who was proud of that was Lady Blonos herself.
Volo, as usual, ignored Y/N. “It seems the King would prefer to keep the months following Queen’s Trial to be about the Prince and his betrothed. A wedding between two of the High Houses would be… ‘distracting’.” He finished his sentence with a look on his face that said he agreed. He probably did, seeing how everyone believed that his daughter would be the next queen of Norta. Lord Osanos huffed, seeing this change in plans as an inconvenience to his day.
“Fine.” He replied flatly, looking at his brother and sister-in-law. They looked slightly annoyed with the change in plans but knew no one could go above the King. They nodded, looked at each other, and her father spoke.
“Next week.”
----------
It was late. Y/N knew that. It had to be at least 1 AM, and everyone was asleep. Everyone except her and a few Red servants. She should be sleeping herself, but her mind was racing. She couldn’t help but think that this marriage was going to be the worst thing that could ever happen to her. Tossing and turning, somehow never finding a comfortable spot or position to sleep in, she was so frustrated that she could cry. But it was when she thought about running away for the fifth time that night that she decided some warm milk may help her sleep. She threw on her robe, tying it tight in an attempt to help soothe her in case she might run into someone on her way to the kitchens. Mindlessly walking through the halls, she kept her steps light and quiet. She passed guards, some she recognized and some she didn’t. Regardless of that, she nodded and smiled kindly to them all, even when most didn’t even acknowledge her.
Rounding a corner near one of the dining rooms, she looked up from her feet. It was a good thing she had, locking her eyes on a certain blonde guard who she was determined to stay away from until their wedding. Y/N stopped in her tracks, deciding she would take the longer route to the kitchens if it meant not having to walk past him. She turned quickly wanting to get out of that situation as quickly as she could. She would have gotten away too, if it hadn’t been for the table that was directly behind her. She ran right into it, her hip hitting the edge, both making the table move about an inch and what was sure to be a giant bruise right on her side. Her cheeks heated in embarrassment, knowing at least five guards had seen it happen.
“Y/N?” When she heard her name come from his mouth, she cringed. Facing him, she noticed his hand on the hilt of his dagger. She scoffed, narrowing her eyes. She didn't say a word to him yet when she started to walk away from the hall, she heard his footsteps following her. She sighed, walking faster. Of course, he caught up to her, his legs being longer and faster than hers. They fell in step together, no one saying a word for a few moments.
“Why aren’t you sleeping?” Lucas asked her with a soft voice. She knew he was trying to be kind to her, knew he was trying his best not to piss her off, but the question just made her angrier about their arrangement. She didn’t know why. He hadn’t directly done anything to her. Maybe it was just the circumstances, but the only thing she felt towards him was resentment.
“I can’t.” She answered quickly, voice just as quiet as her steps. Lucas waited for her to elaborate, but when Y/N hadn’t spoken again, he knew she wanted the subject dropped. Unfortunately, he didn’t.
“Why?” This time, Y/N glared at him. She crossed her arms over her stomach, manicured nails catching Lucas’ attention. He smiled slightly at the light peach color.
“You know why.” She bit back, balling her hands into fists. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes from the frustration. The last thing she wanted was for Lucas to see her cry so she angled her head away from him. Lucas’ heart broke at her answer. While he wasn’t necessarily thrilled with the whole situation, it wasn’t the worst thing, was it? Was the idea of marrying him really that horrible? He didn’t understand what he had done to make the sweetest girl had known hate him so much.
“I’m sorry.” He apologized, not just for the marriage, but for his family, for her family, for anything he had done to anger her. Instead of calming her, it did the opposite. Her eyes flared with irritation and she whipped her head to him. The tears had since fallen, any evidence of them having been wiped away by Y/N. Lucas leaned away when he saw the look on her face.
“For what? For having to marry me? For letting your family treat me the way they do? Or is it for the fact that you can’t even hear me crashing into a table without reaching for your weapons?” Y/N burst out, voice louder than before. She saw the doors to the kitchen just ahead, thankful that their time together would soon be over. Just as she went to reach for the door, Lucas’ hand fell onto her shoulder. They locked eyes, Y/N seeing that the softness in his eyes had been replaced by a burning fire of annoyance.
“You’ve got to be kidding me! You’re mad about that?” He was angry, only a bit. He couldn’t believe that the little moment in the hallway would really have stuck with her that much.
“Yeah, I am! You can’t even try to solve a problem without resorting to violence!” Her voice was getting louder and by that point a few Red servants had opened the kitchen doors a crack to see who was making such noise at that hour.
“It’s my job, Y/N. I have to protect the royal family, the kingdom of Norta! The Scarlet Guard is running around and I wasn’t sure if they had broken in.” He seethed back.
“Spare me the bullshit, Lucas.” She scoffed out. “You’re just like the rest of them. You’d rather kill first, ask questions later, if it makes your life easier.” Y/N pulled away from him, ignoring the way her arm felt colder without his touch. Lucas didn’t move. He couldn’t believe what she had said. He was kind, was he not? He still couldn’t figure out why she was acting so cold towards him, why she could be loving towards everyone else but couldn’t even find a way to act civil with him. After a moment of contemplation, he entered the kitchens.
Red servants milled about, preparing vegetables and meats to be cooked in the morning. They ducked their heads when he passed, acknowledging his rank as a Silver guard. He spotted Y/N in the corner, chatting with an older Red as she waited for milk to warm. She was smiling, talking kindly with the woman. After pouring the liquid into a cup, she bid the woman goodnight before exiting out a different set of doors. Lucas followed her, keeping himself a few steps behind in an attempt to keep her calm. It didn’t work.
“Don’t follow me.” She spoke over her shoulder, continuing to walk. As the walked, Lucas looked to the other guards in the halls. They raised their eyebrows to him, eyes full of amusement. They knew the two were betrothed to one another. They also knew that, for whatever reason, Y/N couldn’t stand the Samos male.
“I’m just making sure you make it back to your room safely, as I would for anyone else.” He told her.
“I’m not completely helpless. I can protect myself.”
“You’re not helpless.” Lucas echoed back. Y/N didn’t speak again after that, not knowing what to say to that.  It sounded as if he thought she was more than a little Nymph girl who had once cried when Instructor Arven told her she was weak.
They reached her door together, Lucas having caught up with her somewhere along the way. She stepped inside, eyes flitting to the ground so she didn’t have to look at him. As she closed the door, she heard one last thing from him.
“See you next week."

Are you still planning on writing for yan sim? I'd really like to see Budo Masuta, Shin Higaku, and Ayato Aishi if you are <33
and I know you're not completely comfy writing yanderes so if you wrote for Ayato he could be like bordering on yandere but realizes that he doesn't need to do anything and that y/n will only have eyes for him? idk just a suggestion 😭
It more like I'm not fully comfortable writing full on yandere,I could write light elements of it as long as the story has more to it than just the character being a yandere.
I've already planned the characters I want to write for. But my request for them aren't open yet,please wait until the post to request something. I'll probably open them later this month
Ayano/Ayato Aishi
Osana /  Osano  Najimi
Amai /  Amao   Odayaka
Kizana /  Kizano   Sunobu
Oka / Oko Ruto
Mido rana
Osoro /  Osorō   Shidesu
Megami / Megamo Saikou

BSD Hogwarts AU
All over the world, there are growing numbers of witches and wizards with very strange abilities, even by the Wizarding World’s standards. To help these ability users, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has started an exchange program to help these students gain control and understanding over their powers.
This is basically just a Bungou Stray Dogs Hogwarts AU that I thought of while I was bored (lockdown has been doing that to us all lol). I’m going to be making a series of posts for the characters with their lives in this Hogwarts AU.

HI HELLO!! local lurker here. Im not super good with tumblr so idk if i need to like... Censor names in asks and if i shouldve im sorry in advance!! But just. In this time of national crisis (bsd chapter 109 adaptation) ive come bearing a cute scenario. Just as a treat bc i feel like weve been through enough okay.
Anyways im imagining established skk for this, and scene: ada office. Setting my stage here i just love being dramatic sorry. Dazai is also being dramatic and arguing on the phone in the scene, and the other detectives are getting worried bc theyre really not used to him sounding so angry. he goes "okay. Fine." And hangs up and atsushi hesitantly comes up to him to ask what happened and dazais very serious like "theres been an emergency. Chuuya went to work sick" and so he ropes poor, poor innocent atsushi into helping him trick chuuya into coming to HIM to the ada office and he makes atsushi like..... Idk call chuuya and tell him dazais been uhhh idk injured or maybe as a callback to the entrance exam he says theres a bomb or whatever. Anyways chuuya comes in busting through one of the windows and gets ambushed and then taken care of the end <3
Omg hi!!!! I usually censor names myself, but I don't mind them not being censored in asks, so no worries about it!
Tumblr media
NON I LOVE THIS AJDOISKG!!! After... that episode/chapter... we deserve some treats T~T BE DRAMATIC!!! Being dramatic makes everything more enjoyable!~
God just... D/azai actually having ~The Emotions~ when he's on the call, and the A/DA not being used to that, and then him sounding SO serious but it's!!! C/huuya is sick!!! He needs to help his Chibi!!!
And roping in A/tsushi, who'd just wanna help in any way he can- but... lying to a Port Mafia member...? Him calling to say D/azai's been hurt, when it's C/huuya who needs to be cared for!!!! ToT
Then of course the ambush with care, god C/huuya would be soooo pissed, but maybe secretly feel a bit happy too. I mean- someone cares, even if that someone has to be that bastard.
(plus I can totally see some sweet moments with him and K/enji, and maybe a little with Y/osano too. Both of whom I totally see being good friends with C/huuya, in their own ways~)
Aghhhh thank you for sharing this!!! It's absolutely adorable~

The rest of psychology was not that bad in Y/N's opinion. She had asked Oko about his occult book that he started reading halfway through the icebreakers, leading to him rambling for about twenty minutes. The last minutes of class were spent with Oko apologizing for 'wasting her time' and Y/N assuring him it was fine. Long story short, the two exchanged numbers and Oko was very flustered when he left the classroom.
'Amao didn't tell me where to meet him, so I should probably check the cooking club first.'
Y/N gathered up her things quickly, almost stepping out of the room before Mr. Kina called her to his desk.
"Sorry, dear, but I heard you are also new to the school, correct?" The h/c-ette nodded as confirmation. "I was told by the guidance counselor to remind you to get to school early tomorrow for your meeting. Do you know where her office is? If not, I have a map of the school I can give you," the pink haired male smiled at her.
"I appreciate the offer, but I have my own map, thank you." Her teacher hummed in understanding and Y/N took that as her cue to leave. "Have a good day, Mr Kina." She waved and exited the room, knowing Nemesis was following her.
The cooking club was on the first floor and her classroom was on the second. How convenient that it was right next to the staircase she went down. She saw Osano standing right outside one of the doors, him angrily looking at his phone. Right before she opened her mouth to talk to him, his ringtone, a catchy J-pop song, started to play and he rushed off through the hall.
Nemesis walked beside Y/N and glanced at her. "That was certainly strange, wasn't it?" Y/N glared at him in return. The h/c-ette knocked on the closed gray doors, Saki answering the door.
"Oh hey, Y/N! Are you here to join the cooking club?" Her bright smile nearly blinded the aforementioned girl. As Y/N was about to respond, she heard her best friend exclaim her name.
Taeko Yamada swiftly walked up to her, intertwining their hands. "Saki, she's not here to join, Amao said he would give her a tour. I would come with, but I have to walk Hanako home today," the ravenette pouted, sighing dramatically. "I need to make sure that he doesn't get lost. You both know how he is."
"I didn't know you were in the cooking club, Tae." Y/N tilted her head at the thought of Taeko not telling her something as important as that.
"No, I'm not, but Osano is. Sometimes I stay here during club activities so we can walk home together. Speaking of," the ravenette's head poked out of the club doors and turned, her eyes looking for someone. "Where is Osano? I swear he was just out here."
"He left to take a phone call, it seems." Nemesis responded from behind Y/N, Saki jumping at how he suddenly appeared. "If this is the cooking club, why do I only see pastries on the counter?" The girl with teal hair sighed, her cheeks beginning to grow pink at Nemesis speaking to her.
'Hmm. How interesting. I'll have to ask about that later.'
Suddenly, a shout was heard from down the hallway. Nemesis wrapped his arm around Y/N's waist, pulling her into his chest as he stepped back. Hanako Yamada, the disturber of peace, flopped on the floor after trying to tackle-hug a certain h/c-ette. He groaned loudly as his face pressed against the tiles.
"Hanako! Oh my god, are you hurt?" His sister stepped forward and helped the boy up. "Alright, you aren't. But you could've gotten yourself or other people seriously hurt. Luckily Nemesis got Y/N out of the way, or she would've been on the floor with you." Taeko slightly glared at the fact that Nemesis was still holding Y/N, his arm having loosened its hold. Hanako muttered an apology, his face also falling at Y/N and the man behind her.
"Yeah, thanks, Nemesis. My hero." Y/N awkwardly chuckled and stepped away from him, right as the concerned cooking club leader popped out of the room.
Amao Odayaka did not look very pleased at the sight of the four students in the hall. He sighed and beckoned them into the clubroom with a weary smile.
"Can't say I didn't expect Taeko's sibling to already be causing trouble," the brunet chuckled. The first year in question hung his head and trudged into the cooking club.
Y/N followed immediately after, but not before another club room caught her eye. One of the doors wasn't shut properly, showing what looked to be a large pentagram in the middle of the floor, surrounded by unlit candles. 'Must be Oko's club.' She smiled at the thought. The occult club and cooking club being near each other was definitely strange, given the opposing aesthetics.
The cooking club room was entirely pink, it made sense that Osano had joined. Even the utensils and stand mixers were pink. It was almost blinding. All of the members with their either bright or pastel colors fit in perfectly. And then there was Nemesis, who was scowling and squinting at the whole room, not trying to hide his disdain for the interior decorating.
The members were all sitting at a table (pink, of course, are you seeing a theme here?) and sharing what looked to be a tray of calamari. There were only two girls, including Saki, which Y/N found to be odd. 'Isn't Amao Odayaka one of Akademi's golden boys? Don't a lot of girls like him?' She was brought out of her thoughts when a black haired girl waved at her and smiled.
"So, Y/N, these are all the members besides Osano and Raibaru Fumetsu. Kokona was in the club last year, but she preferred drama club, sadly." Saki wrapped her arm around Y/N's shoulders, a grin stretching from ear to ear. "I know you could choose something else, but I think it would be nice if you joined. Right Ajia?" Saki's eyes fell onto the same ravenette that waved.
"Oh, me? Yes, it would be cool to have another girl around. I am only a first year, though, so I don't know if I have any say." The girl sheepishly smiled and looked back at her plate, fingers fiddling with her utensils. "Would you like any octodogs? We just made them." Y/N's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, looking at Saki to explain.
"Right, you don't know what those are." Ajia murmured an apology, Y/N waving it off. "They're just hotdogs we cut into the shape of octopi." The h/c-ette glanced at Nemesis, who subtly shook his head. She politely declined and moved out from her place under Saki's arm.
Amao cleared his throat from where he was leaning against the counter. "We better get going if we want to see the whole school before club time ends." He bit his lip, the corners of his lips turning upwards. 'That's ho-', Y/N's thought was interrupted by a ginger barging into the room.
"Y/N, you're still here! Now I can show you around." He was panting, probably having run around the school looking for her. The other club members glanced between the two, smirking. Amao quietly protested that he, in fact, already said he was going to.
"It could be a group thing," Taeko smiled. "Hanako still doesn't know his way either so we can all go." She looked around at her friends in question, Y/N agreeing. Osano glared lightly at the male with brown hair but sighed and reluctantly nodded. Hanako grabbed Y/N's hand and began to drag her out of the room.
⊹₊┈ㆍ┈ㆍ┈ㆍ✿ㆍ┈ㆍ┈ㆍ┈₊⊹
"This is the nurse's office."
"Yeah, I'm sure they could tell due to the sign right next to the door." Osano rolled his eyes at Amao, who, in turn, huffed and faced away from the ginger. Taeko and Hanako warily glanced over while Nemesis and Y/N didn't try to hide their stares.
The group hadn't gotten far - they were still on the first floor - since Osano kept bickering with both Amao and Nemesis (even though the latter hadn't said a word). Luckily, the brunet tried his best to keep the party going and they had made it fully down one of the hallways. Taeko steered the group into the courtyard.
"Oh, and here's where Taeko reads, like a dork." The ginger scoffed and put his hands on his hips, glaring at the aforementioned girl. Y/N nervously laughed and placed her hand on Taeko's shoulder.
"I think it's nice that she's an academic. It makes her more pleasant to talk to, unlike some people."
'Oh my god, did the sweet baker boy just throw shade? What is happening right now?'
Taeko smiled and appreciatively nodded at Amao. "I quite like reading. Osano, you only read what's required, which is why you don't like it." Osano made a few noncommittal noises but ended up slouching and walking away, the others following behind him. "He gave up because it's true," the ravenette whispered to Y/N, the two giggling.
"I heard that!"
⊹₊┈ㆍ┈ㆍ┈ㆍ✿ㆍ┈ㆍ┈ㆍ┈₊⊹
The tour, in Y/N's opinion, started to get boring once they got halfway through the second floor, after passing by the martial arts club. But the tour went on. Nothing had particularly interested Y/N. She could join the science club like her mother had, but what if the members didn't like her? She already cooked at home, so there was no need to do it as an extracurricular. Sewing, art, music, drama, occult, and photography. Wait... photography?
Finally on the third floor, Y/N stared at the closed doors in front of her while the others walked past the club, not bothering to explain. There were people in it, she could hear them. Her curiosity got the best of her and she knocked.
"Y/N? What are you doing?" Hanako skipped over to her and beamed. His black eyes fell upon the sign as he mouthed the words. "Oh! I didn't know you were interested in photography!"
She wasn't interested in photography. Prior to moving, she had exchanged emails with Megamo Saikou and he had told her to be wary of this club in particular. While, of course, they were only normal students, they were far too adamant about finding out the supposed murderer's identity. There had only been one corpse found on campus. Toga Tabara, found near the dumpsters, head split open, shoes left by the railing on the roof. People outside Akademi assumed he committed suicide. The students knew better. Toga, a boy so concerned about his future that he joined every club, wouldn't give it all up. The photography club, being their perceptive selves, decided to ditch being lazy and get on top of that supposed case. Due to them investigating, Megamo didn't want Y/N to slip up and have the club find out that they were to be married. Coincidentally, Info had told her the same thing about them.
'How strange that a lone hacker and the heir to a tech company could have the exact same opinion on a group of students. Disregarding the fact that Info used to be a student here, it's too close.'
A blond male answered the door, knocking Y/N out of her thoughts. Hanako had completely changed his stance and the others were now closer, meaning it took a moment for this guy to answer the door.
"Sorry, we aren't accepting new members. I hope you understand." The boy's pale blue eyes stared into Y/N's. She raised an eyebrow and tilted her head.
"Oh, is it because it's the beginning of the year? Other clubs are taking in new people." She knew why they didn't want new members, but she wanted to hear his excuse.
"No, we are just choosing to stay as a group of five. We work the best that way." Before Y/N could get another word, he closed the door. She sighed and looked at her fellow students. Amao shrugged, as did Osano. Taeko just scratched her neck and laughed nervously.
"It's probably nothing personal. Maybe they're just in a bad mood. It is only the first day, after all." Hanako nodded along with his sister's statements.
"They're losers, anyway. You're too good for them, n/n." Osano's cheeks grew a few shades of pink upon realizing what he said. "Platonically, of course, not that I needed to say that, since it's obvious that I would-" The ginger was cut off by Amao placing his hand over the other boy's mouth and shaking his head while chuckling.
"Stop rambling and let's continue the tour, shall we?"

(S) How you meet- Osano Najimi
Requested?: Nope lol
Word count: 1,089
Warnings: None really
Note: It's my first real fanfic yay!!
--------------------------------------------------
It was early in the morning around, 7:15 when the whole ordeal happened. Osano for the first time in his life, had gotten his best friend/childhood crush Tara up and ready, in time for school. Usually the two are almost late for school everyday, they get their daily workout just by running to get to class on time. Though today was different, by some miracle the two where out and walking by 7:10.
“I can't believe we're up this early and are actually on time for school” Osano muttered looking down at him watch.
“Me either! I'm so happy that my new alarm clock works no more being late to school for us anymore!” Tara said happily, smiling over at her oranged haired friend.
Osano blushed and turned his head away at the sight of the girl's smile. Embarrassed that he found something as simple as a smile to be adorable. “Yeah whatever...it took you long enough to get a new one! I was wondering when you finally stop making us late to school” he said abrasively.
Tara only chuckled lightly still smiling at Osano’s blunt statement. She was used to his passive aggressive behavior and grew to know that it was his way of coping and dealing with things and people. “I'm sorry. I promised no more being late to school from now on, but I don't know why you couldn't just go on without me instead on making yourself late trying to help me” She said looking a little confused now.
As Osano was about to answer, sounds of pounding footsteps and heavy breathing interrupted the conversation. Before he could blink, Osano found himself on the floor pinned down by somebody. With a groan he pushed his upper body away from the ground and looked down at a girl who was currently laying on his hips and legs.
Immediately his confusion turned to annoyance. “Hey what your problem!” he suddenly yelled making the girl jump off of him and on to her knees. “I-I-I’m sorry I d-di-” before the girl could finished her sentence Osano cut her off by yelling out. “Sorry doesn't help the fact that you just got my uniform all dirty and dusty!”. (Y/N) didn't know what to do, she was stun from embarrassment and shame she felt right now, all she could do is stare at Osano. Tara seeing the distressed girl, walked over and tried to calm her friend down.
“Osano it was an accident she didn't mean to, I'm sure the school can give you a clean uniform” she explained calmly as she helped her friend up, dusting some of the dirt off. Then turned to (Y/N) who was still sitting on the ground and asked “Are you ok?”.
Finally out of snapping out her trace the girl jumped to her feet and started to profusely apologized. “Oh! Yes I'm fine, thank you for asking but is he ok? I'm so so sorry for trampling you, I didn't mean to hurt you I'm sorry!”.
Osano huffed as he continued to dust his uniform. “Whatever, why were you even running in the first place!?” he asked impatiently.
“Osano!” Tara said slightly hitting his arm for not accepting the apology.
“I was running because I was running late to school” (Y/N) told as she messed with her (H/L), (H/S), (H/C).
“Running late?” Tara said to herself confused.
Suddenly everything clicked on Osano’s head. “You idiot you're not late for school!” he yelled annoyed.
“What do you mean my watch says, it's 8:15...what?” (Y/N) says confused as she looks at her watch. It showed the same time when she lasted looked at it.
“I think your watch might be broken because my watch says it's 7:20” Tara said showing her watch.
Feeling more embarrassed and shame (Y/N) pulled her hair and bowed.
“I'm so sorry I didn't know my watch was broken, I thought I was going to get detention for being late, I'm sorry” she explained softly. Tara looked apologetically at the girl and then looked at Osano nudging his side. The red head only looked at Tara in confusion, what did she want from him?
Noticing that Osano need more information Tara gently whispered. “Accept her apology, she feels really bad”.
Osano huff before turning his attention to the still bowing girl. He notice the light blush of embarrassment on her cheeks and her eyes, she looked like she's was about to start tearing up any second now. It was when he saw her eyes that something in his heart began to ache. He barely now began to feel bad for the abrasive words he lashed at her with early.
He sighed before tapping her shoulder making (Y/N) look up at him. “I-it’s alright you don't need to apologize a-anymore” he said looking away at the girl before continuing “I-I'm sorry for yelling at you” he said a lot more softer almost in a whispery voice.
Tara and the girl looked up at the boy and smiled softly. Tara was happy to see her friend open up more and be more caring towards people. While (Y/N) was just happy he wasn't yelling at her anymore.
Osano noticing the two girl's smiles, blush before quickly rising his voice back normal level. “B-but don't go around and knocking me over again because this is the only time I'll forgive you! Idiot..”.
Tara let out a chuckle before sighing, well at least he apologized. She then turned to (Y/N) and asked “Would you like to walk with us...uh” Tara then realized that she didn't even know the girl's name but before she could asked (Y/N) beat her to the punch.
“My name is (Y/N) (L,N) and yes I would like too walk with you guys” she said smiling.
Tara jumped for joy “Great! Oh and by the way I'm Tara Yamata and this Osano Najimi, my childhood friend” Tara explained making Osano scoff.
“I could have introduced myself” he said irritated.
Before Tara could reply her watch went off making her look down and her eyes go wide. “OH MY GOD WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!” She yelled before grabbing Osano's and (Y/N)’s hands and began to run towards the school.
“Hey!! Don't go around grabbing people's  hands like that!!” He screamed as he scrambled to keep his footing.
The whole ordeal just made (Y/N) laugh as she ran alongside the two hoping they would make it to school on time.

It's Sunday, and I've decided to work an extra shift at the Café. Sundays are quite busy, and that means more money in my pockets. Luckily, there were no odd costumers this time around to bother me. I carry on with my work, and I'm able to earn a few tips as well.
My shift ends, and I go to the back to take off my uniform. As I take off the baby blue vest, one of the workers comes up to me.
"Great job out there, Aishi!"
"Thanks."
"You have a certain charm that makes people come back, you know?"
"Do I?"
"Yeah! And we really need it! Recently, a new place has opened up, and they're rivaling us with sweets."
"Really?"
"Yeah, it's the Odayaka Bakery."
"I've heard of it."
"Yeah, it's grown popular, but we've got cute waiters, so we at least beat them at something."
"Right."
"Well, I'll see you tomorrow, Aishi."
He walks away as I fold my vest and put it in my bag. I grab my bag and walk out the entrance with it. When I leave the restaurant, I'm met with the bright lights of the shopping strip. It's crowded like always, but it is Sunday, so it's expected. I walk down the sidewalk, but as I walk out of the area and into a more residential area, I notice an alleyway filled with men.
I stop in my tracks and look towards the dark alleyway. Within the alley, I see a few men dressed in suits. They are talking with one another, but the one closest to the entrance of the alley notices me.
"What do you want?" He asks me in a gruff voice.
I don't respond and carry on walking. I wonder if they are what I think they are?
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
It's Monday, and I regret taking the extra shift. I'm tired, and I can barely pay attention to anything. I sit in the courtyard with Taro. He's reading some type of book, and I'm just looking at the cherry blossom petals rain down from the trees. I would use this time to watch over Taeko, but I know she's with (Y/N). Ever since I told Osano to back off from Taeko, she's been hanging out with (Y/N) more than ever. I guess my plan backfired on me, but at least I gained a new friendship.
From the corner of my eye, I see a boy walking with a tray. He walks up to me and Taro, and I get to have a better look at him. He has short light brown hair, a mint green handkerchief on his head, with a matching apron, he doesn't have the school jacket on but he is wearing a white long-sleeved button up, he also has a red armband indicating that he is a club leader.
"Would you like one?" He asks us, as he shows us a tray filled with mini cakes.
"Sure," Taro says as he reaches to get one. I reach out to get one, too. The boy walks off once we take one.
He must be the cooking club leader.
As I eat the mini pastry, I feel a vibration coming from my pocket. I take out my phone, and I see it's a message from Info.
I see that you already talked with him.
With who?
Amao Odayaka.
What about him?
I saw something on Friday.
And you're telling me now?
I wanted you to know who he was first.
What did you see?
I saw him getting close with your Senpai.
Elaborate.
Your poor Senpai was saddened at Osano's behavior, and Amao noticed this as he passed by her. He sat down with her and gave her a few of his pastries.
So what about it?
He loves her. I listened in on a few of his conversations this morning, and he seems to have taken a liking to her. He is going to confess to her this Friday, so take care of it.
My eyes widen at the last message. Do I really have another rival already? I clench my phone in frustration, and Taro takes notice.
"What happened, Ayato?" He asks me as he looks away from his book.
"Nothing," I bluntly reply.
I'll need to figure this out soon.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
During class time, I was figuring out a plan to take down Odayaka. I decided that I won't harm him. I'm not going to kill him, but I am going to hurt him in a different way.
It's lunchtime and I went straight to the first floor. As I reach the last step, I see (Y/N) going into the nurse's office. I go past it since he isn't my target at the moment. I turn the corner where the cooking club is, and I take a look inside. Inside of the club, I see Odayaka making more mini cakes. I see this as an opportunity.
I walk inside of the club, and he turns around.
"Oh! Hi, there agian!" He says with a bright smile and small wave.
"Hey, I was wondering if you're the cooking club leader?" I ask even though I already know the answer to the question.
"Yup! I'm the leader. Is there anything you need?" He asks me.
"Yeah, I've been meaning to join a club, but I'm not sure which one yet. I was just wondering if you could introduce me to this club so I can know it better?" I ask, setting my plan into motion.
"Of course! I'll show you what the cooking club is all about!"
Odayaka ushers me over to where he is making the mini cakes.
"You can help me make these mini cakes and give them out to other people! Let's get started!" He says with the same bright smile from earlier.
He starts to instruct me on what to do, and I grab all the items I need. I start to make the mini cakes with him, but as we work, I decide to ask him a few questions.
"Your name sounds familiar. Are you connected with the local bakery?" I ask him.
"Yes! My family runs that bakery. We just opened up recently, and we are already having great success! The reason I didn't show up to school right away after the break was because I was helping them with the opening," he explains to me.
As he speaks about his family's bakery, I notice a glimmer in his eyes and how happy he sounds to be talking about the bakery. That's when it hits me, I've found what I've been looking for.
"The bakery is still new, so our security system really isn't the best. But with all the money we're making, I'm sure that we can get a new one soon," he rambles on.
"That sounds great..," I tell him,"I'm all done. What do I do now?"
"Start giving them to people, I'm sure everyone would enjoy an extra snack!"
I nod before taking the tray and walking out of the club room. I start to give the mini sweets to everyone I see, and not before long, the tray is empty. I go back to the club room.
"Oh! You're back!" He happily tells me.
I hand the trey back to him.
"How did you like it?" He asks me with hope in his eyes.
"I thought it was fun," I lie to him.
"That's great. Do you want to join?"
"I first want to go to the sports club and see what they have."
"That's fine! I'm just happy you enjoyed yourself."
I nod at him before turning around and walking out of the club room.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
After school, I go to the hardware store. I have a list of what I need, and I go around the store getting each one of them. When I leave the store, I have bolt cutters, wire cutters, a pair of gloves, and a hammer.
I'm ready to hurt Odayaka.
I go home and change into the same outfit I wore when I broke into the stalker's home. I grabbed a backpack from my closet and dump all the items inside. I make sure to grab my lock pick from Info, and I then leave my house and head to the bakery.
When I make it to the bakery, I see that the street is empty. It isn't as busy as I thought it would be, but in the distance, I see the bakery. I walk over to it, and I start to examine it.
How do I get inside?
I need to be sneaky, and I need to shut off the weak security, too. I should start there first.
I make my way towards the building and go to the back of it. When I make it to the back, I can see the breaker box. It's locked up so no one can tamper with it, but that won't be a problem for me.
I take off my backpack and take out the bolt cutters. I line up the lock with the bolt cutters and press down on the handle of the bolt cutters. The lock falls to the ground with a thud. I kick the lock to the side and pop open the breaker box. When I open up the box, I'm meet with different wires.
I don't know what to do at this point, so I take out my hammer. I start to smash the inside of the breaker box, I even rip the wires out with hands and throw them to the floor. I smash the box until it's beyond repair.
Once I'm happy with my destruction, I go over to the back door, that's next to the breaker box, and I pick the lock. The door opens up, and I step inside with my backpack.
When I make it inside, I can't help but to smile. The bakery is now in my hands, and nobody can stop me. I look towards the two security cameras. One is pointing at the entrance, and the other is pointing at the cash register. I know that the cameras aren't recording, but I'll take them down first. I step on a nearby chair, and I take down both of the cameras. Their destroyed remains lay on the ground.
I go to the glass display cases, and I grab my hammer. I grip the hammer and swing it down on the display cases. The display shatters into pieces onto the floor, and the glass even lands on the cake that it was supposed to protect. It's just a display cake, but I grab it and throw it to the ground. I continue to break the rest of the cases and trash anything else I find.
I stand in the middle of my destruction. I'm surrounded by glass and destroyed cakes. I smile at my work. This should be enough to hurt him.
I leave the bakery out the way I entered.
