I think it can be interesting to explore the character's age but in a way that takes into account their supernatural characteristics. Charles and Edwin are said to be teenagers several times so it is important to the show, but more in a "don't forget they died young and they never experienced a lot of adult situations" type of way, I believe. But they did experience a LOT of other stuff for 30 years so it cannot possibly be the same as our reality. They've been ghosts for longer than a lot of people from the fandom have been alive, lol. So it can be nice and fun to debate or explore this in fics and conversations, but not in a judgmental way like so many do. It's fan-ta-sy
