Is it possible for you to do a Xiao and female Dendro yaksha reader?
Reader was alive during the Archon War and originally served another God, a cruel abusive one who was killed during the war. Having no where to go, she simply traveled across Teyvat visiting different nations trying to find an quiet and isolated place to call home. She avoided humans due to unfortunate encounters with them in the past. (Mostly being mistreated and attacked by them)
During the Cataclysm, she had to fend for herself since she wasn't a part of any nation nor have any allies and she refused to serve another God. She was gravely injured forcing her to hide underground and fell into a deep slumber to start recovering.
Now to the current time, an unusual amount of flora has been growing around certain areas in Wuwang Hill. Xiao is sent to investigate with the Traveler (and Paimon). They find a hidden tunnel that leads to underground with massive amounts of flora growing inside.
From there they find a large beautiful closed flower bud with something hidden inside. Without hesitation, Xiao slices it open and they instantly spot our sleeping Dendro Yaksha, who slowly awakens due the process of recovery being interrupted.
Her first meeting with Xiao is silent as they just observed each other but then gets triggered into a violent reaction after seeing the Traveler.
As for how this meeting ends is up to you. I'm sorry if this is too long and complicated.😅 I wanted to give a bit of backstory about reader 😣 I got the first meeting idea after watching How to Train Your Dragon; Hidden World, with Toothless and the Light Fury.
Journey of a Yaksha; Queen of the Night!
Queen of the Night! Is a flower that blooms once a year!

content warning: they/them traveler (I won't be using lumine or aether specifically, you can imagine who between the two you want to be part of the story), Female reader, post war trauma in the last part.
timeline is before Sumeru update/or middle of Sumeru before the conclusion in regards to Eleazar! anything else is just random like banners.
Reader is a yaksha, meaning she is also an adepti/adeptus. (I just learned it today, apparently yakshas are under the umbrella term of Adepti or smth), more on it at the bottom of the page! ( ^ ^ ) <3
˚˖𓍢ִ໋🍃✧˚.💚⋆
"Finally another quest" the traveler muttered to themselves after looking at their wallets, noticing the sad reality that they were broke! 'Just when Albedo's banner is coming back' putting their wallet back in their inventory, the golden haired traveler turned to paimon and, surprise surprise! Xiao! Resident Yaksha of Wangshu inn!
"It's been awhile since we went on a mission together." They offered to the silent golden haired man. "It has." he nodded in response as Paimon commented, "Xiao is still the same as ever." she wondered if it would kill the demon slayer to talk for more than 5 words!
"To be honest I thought we wouldn't see each other about a quest." The traveler sighed.
In actuality, the traveler had received a mission to investigate the source of minor tremors and sometimes earthquakes that seemed to have been caused from somewhere in Wuwang hills. On their way their, crossing Wangshu Inn they bumped into Xiao who was also heading there.
It didn't take long for the group to realize that Aether's quest concerned Xiao's who had gotten reports about strange adepti energy coming from Wuwang hills, it was at the request of Sky Retainer that he checked it out as the others were busy with the preparations of the upcoming Lantern Rite festival.
"If it's just adepti energy, it's probably one of the other adeptus like that Moon craver!" Paimon floated between the two duo.
Xiao sighed, correcting her "Moon Carver."
"Right, right, Moon Carver."
The young looking adeptus then explained "Adepti energy has a certain signature to it." "Then I'm guessing since you were sent to investigate it, it wasn't a familiar signature?" The traveler asked as he nodded in response.
"Do you think it's an enemy? or maybe one of your old friends. . Like Bosacius."
He shook his head, "Although before we weren't sure about Bosacius, but I'm sure about the others." considering he buried their bodies, Bosacius was the only one who was MIA, no body found in every surface of the region, it was a shock when he found out his friend had died underground.
The traveler and their emergency food remained silent, a thick and awkward tension surrounding them for the majority of their travels to Wuwang hills.
˚˖𓍢ִ໋🍃✧˚.💚⋆
If it was even possible, Wuwang Hill seemed more eerie than the last time they had came to the area. The mist was thicker than usual, and the golden light from the lanterns seemed to only add to the off atmosphere.
Something was different however, it was how the ground seemed dried and lacking of nutrients, as if it had been leeched off. "This reminds me of something. . but what?" The traveler frowned as they looked around.
They crouched down by some plants, staring long and hard, they gasped as they began to wither.
"Look out!" Paimon yelled as the traveler turned to find a rifthound ready to strike them!
"Hmph!" Xiao was quick enough exterminate the beast with his elemental skill. "Thanks Xiao!" the traveler gratefully said as they gave him a thumbs up.
"What are rifthounds doing in Liyue? They're usually at Inazuma or near Wolvendom. ." Paimon frowned, a hand stroking her chin.
"No, not just there, we can find them in sumeru too. . near withering zones." The traveler equipped their weapon, a serious expression on their face as Xiao asked them to explain.
"it's a type of illness in Sumeru, it basically kills off the plants and the area, sometimes, it affects people too in the form of a disease." The blond explained, Paimon gasped "that's right! Eleazar disease! This is pretty bad, what is a withering zone doing all the way out here in Liyue??"
Activating their elemental sights, the traveler looked around, "it's probably related with the earthquakes around here. . not sure if it has something to do with an Adepti though."
"It'll have to wait, how do we dispel withering zones?" Xiao's polearm had a dangerous glint to it, which matched his sharp eyes. "We'll have to find the withering branches and destroy them with dendrograna but. ."
there were none, at least, none based on their elemental sight.
"I can see a trace though, lets follow it."
Following the trace of elements, withering and dendro, as well as apparently it had the trace of adepti energy according to Xiao. . they found themselves at the entrance of a cave that was situated at the side of Wuwang Hill, "this wasn't here before." the traveler frowned, they were dead sure of it considering they spent a lot of time around liyue to get all the primogems they could.
"It looks natural, maybe it opened up due to the earthquakes." Xiao said, placing a hand on the rocky surface. The entrance of the cave looked like it was formed due to an earthquake, it was shaped like a crack and was big enough for people to pass through thankfully.
"Lets go."
The entrance was empty, there were a few bugs and shrubs but as they got deeper and deeper,, more underground, the path became filled with flowers and fauna. It was lit up with glowing plants that seemed the same like the ones you found in the forest near the Kamisato Estate back in Inazuma, vines and moss covered the walls and ground, hanging flowers bloomed above them.
It was a beautiful sight, one that made them relax and let their guards down as they continued their exploration.
They could hear the sound of running water, an underwater river or water source perhaps?
Their questions were answered as they found the other end of the path, it led to a large cavern, there was a hole above letting the moonlight and water from a river pour in.
Beneath the hole was a small patch of land surrounded by water, there a large white bud sat at the center.
"This looks like a scene from a fairytale! or at least, something you'd seen in the Aranara village" paimon commented which the traveler couldn't help but agree.
Numerous crystalflies and butterflies flew about, leaving when they got close to them. Circling around the cavern they find no trace of a person being here, so they turned their attention to the ginormous flower bud.
"You think this could be causing all the tremors?" The traveler turned to Xiao who was silently observing the plant. "But it's a plant- I thought they were the ones stopping earthquakes and landslides?" Paimon frowned at their travelling partner, "Well, unless it's a evil magic plant!" they argued defensively.
"It doesn't even look like a regisvine!"
The duo began to argue as Xiao began to walk towards the bud, it did not bother him when the water seeped into his shoes, or even if it was cold.
Something felt familiar about the flower, the energy it exuded. . yes, it was adeptal energy. But something tainted it, something sinister, something rotten.
As he approached it, various vines grew at the bottom of the white bud, it swirled threateningly at him making him stop in his place.
He could hear the traveler unsheathe their weapon, Xiao frowned. "Let me handle this."
The traveler hesitated but they relaxed their posture "fine, but I'll attack it if it attacks you."
"I can handle myself perfectly fine."
Golden eyes careful observed the bud at a much closer angle, from afar it looked beautiful, but being near it, he could see the tips of the petals were wilting an ugly black color, then it faded to brown, then white and green when it neared the stem of the bud.
"It's dying." he stated as he approached, one hand began to glow with power as he began to harness his adeptal energy. "I'll try to give it some energy." he told the others.
"What? what if saving that flower is a bad thing?"
"Then we'll kill it."
'That's easier said than done!' Paimon and the outlander thought! Of course Xiao wouldn't be too worried, he's very strong, but they'd rather avoid any more uneccessary battles!
The vines swooped down, entangling one of xiao's wrist and pulling him close to the bud sensing the delicious energy he harnessed. Which made his job easier as he began feeding energy into the flower.
He watched as the erosion seemed to disappear as the flower became much more lush and vibrant. Soon the petals began to open, blooming under the full moon. The vines of the bud let him go, as if satisfied with the energy he had given it.
Stepping back he watched as the flower bloomed into its full glory, a light coming from its center.
"Oh my god!" Paimon screamed in fear as a hand popped out of the center, it nearly gave her a heart attack! It was almost like a scene from a horror play without any blood!
Then another arm popped up, stretched as it tried grabbing the petals for support, nearly tearing them off from the flower. Xiao approached, he didn't know why he began to act careless and without much thought, but he found himself grabbing the hands gently and pulling the person or whoever it was up.
Sharp golden eyes meet with sleepy [ eye color ] eyes, which quickly widened in shock. The person with [ color ] hair took back their hands, jumping back in a cautious manner resembling that of a wary stray cat.
Her stance was tensed, cautious and untrusting as her eyes became clear, finally fully awake as she observed the man before her, an adeptus no doubt, she could feel the energy in his body, similar to that of her own.
˚˖𓍢ִ໋🍃✧˚.💚⋆
You felt tired, sleepy as you woke up from a long sleep, the first thing you saw upon waking up was the brilliant moon that shone down up you, bathing you in its gentle light. Your stretched your arms up high, hands grabbing at the moon as you relaxed, you were relieved to find your body no longer rotting, turning stiff from the withering.
Still you could feel it in your body, you were still sick.
So quickly you tried to get up, trying to use the petals as leverage but alas the petals were to delicate, they began to tear as you tried to hoist yourself up.
You froze as a pair of hands grabbed your own, easily pulling you up. Then there it was, the first person you saw upon waking up.
A man with a mop of dark hair and small patches of teal that reminds you of a particular grass you had once slept in during your travels, golden eyes that swirled like nectar and honey stared back into your own, with pupils like that of an avian.
You instantly jumped back, feeling goosebumps from his touch.
An adeptus was in front of you, but who were they serving? Was it a rogue one? or one loyal to Morax? His energy was as strong as yours, albeit more refined.
"Who" you coughed, feeling your throat dry as the desert, still you persisted, raising your guard up around the man "who are you?"
You two observed each other, one pair of eyes filled with distrust, the other filled with awe and shock.
He observed you, your hair long and untamed due to the long sleep, the smell of flowers radiating off you and the specks of pollen that clung to your skin.
Another adeptus, a Yaksha no doubt as well.
He was speechless beyond words, all he could do was stare as he began to process this shocking revelation. There was another Yaksha, he wasn't entirely alone.
"Who are you?" you asked again before going into a horrible case of the coughs, you crouched down, hand covering your mouth as he stepped closer, your eyes glared at him, warning him not to approach so he raised his hands, showing he was unarmed before going to grab his water jug that was attached to him and threw it to you.
You caught it with ease, opening it before taking a tentative sniff. Deciding it was safe you began to drink. The ache in your throat disappeared as you felt your lips no longer dry or crack with a slight lick from your lips.
"Thank you.." you hesitantly said.
Standing up again you tilted your head at the man who was still speechless, then you heard a crack, a branch had been broken, being stepped on by another person. It wasn't just the two of you.
You turned to the source of the sound, finding not only a flying fairy, but also a blond haired weapon wielding person. The metal weapon was the only thing you could focus on, and suddenly it felt like you were back in the war. Your breath hitched.
Sensing your worries, your apprehension, and the fact that you had been set off, Xiao made the mistake of trying to approach you, to calm you down, immediately you equipped your weapon.
Fuck.
˚˖𓍢ִ໋🍃✧˚.💚⋆
Xiao and the traveler, along with paimon, were huddled up around a fire as they began healing eating some sweet madames. Having been set off, you violently attacked them before making your escape.
It was Xiao who suggested not to follow you quickly less they make you even more enraged or afraid of them. The moon had long since passed the hole, it was no longer at its full height so the cavern was dark except for the few crystalflies and fireflies that stuck around as well as their small campfire.
"She was so strong!" Paimon gushed, ignoring the traveler who gave her a stink eye. "So she's an adeptus huh?" the traveler sighed, turning to Xiao who nodded. "A yaksha too?"
"It seems so. I should inform the others about this, but someone should track her down..."
Reading Xiao's inner plights the traveler sighed before offering "I can tell the other adepti about her and you can track her down, I'm pretty sure you're excited about the possibility of another Yaksha friend right?"
"Thank you."

It is in Mondstadt did you learn that you can also fight for something other than Power, you can do so to obtain freedom, to protect others.
It is in Inazuma did you learn that there are things you can learn outside of war, that even learning what a friend likes or dislikes was just as important as learning how to defend yourself.
It was in Sumeru where you were able to remember the beauty of nature and life, how it makes you want to protect in from war and illness.
It was in Liyue where your life started. it was in the nation of contracts were you were enslaved, it was the nation of geo where you made the important choice to heal.
but what about now? What will you learn now upon returning to Liyue who had faced numerous changes? What will the people here teach you next?
Tumblr media
I didn't know how to smoothly transition this into you and Xiao meeting again and becoming friends, so there will be another chapter!
full blooded adepti are able to shift into a human form like Madame Ping and apparently Xiao, I haven't decided if Reader is a full blooded one, if ever, what do you think would be her animal/beast form?
a reader from the previous part commented about her/reader being a fawn and I absolutely adored that idea!

Guess what? I’m back! (More info later) This is just a small piece I thought of working on/finishing while I was away (it’s either gonna be Kuroo x Reader or Oikawa x Reader I can’t decide)
The Loss of a Yaksha
(Inspired by Genshin Impact in Haikyuu verse featuring Reader who’s got a major in music + a famous Creator)
Tumblr media
Somewhere within the Haikyuu universe…
It was a millennium ago when there was a time a warrior could walk amongst humanity. Now, those days are gone, and so has much of the memory of the lone soldier faded to dust. It was due to the sacrifice the soldier made to protect the legacy of what they fought for. After that day, the soldier was no more, only around in myths and legends that parents told their children. Some hope that the warrior will return to defend its homeland, that they’re still alongside humanity in their endeavor of punishing evil. Just maybe… they’re still here.
One morning…
“Hey! Wake up Y/n!”
A voice echoed inside the young girls brain, her eyes opening to see the sun above her as she lay beneath the top branches of the tree. She rubbed her eyes, looking around as the forest became silent, the wind rushing through the wisteria tree around her. It was a cool morning breeze, a sign the weather was now getting warmer as the summer months came rolling along.
“When does summer truly begin? Is it when the world heats up? Is it due to the name of a month? Or is it whenever children get-“
The young girl jumped down from the tree top, landing on her feet like a cat and quickly made her way down the stone steps under the Tori gate and out towards the city. Her black jacket flapped in the cold wind as her steps became quicker through the forest, following the old stone path that was slightly covered in moss and grass. Her over the shoulder bag, a dark black lined with white, an athletic style to the design yet simple and large enough to fit a lot of things inside it. It sounded full from all the weight inside it, a keychain with some sort of diamond design and a white crystal in the middle hanging from a side strap.
“Oh crap I can’t be late!”
Some time later…
The young girl came around the corner of the building, walking past with large black headphones over her head and a notebook of some sorts being written in as she walked. Her steps slow, almost methodical as the sound of pencil and paper filled the air.
“This project line goes here, this one goes there, and now this line-“
The sound of an object made of leather being hit quickly zoomed past the girls head and rolled back into the open area, rolling and stopping at the single light hanging from a tree. She kneeled down, picking up the round object known as a ball. She stood up, turning to look around for who could’ve hit it.
“It’s dark out… nobody should be here.”
It was a school, her simple school clothes having been changed to a white button up and black slacks. The warm summer nights wind brushed past her, a sign she needed to get “home”. Home… what even is a home? She lived in two places, one in the city and one in the forest inside a tree, both forced upon her with no sat in the matter. The school was large, a giant gym a few feet away as she walked past one of the entrances into the school. The lights were on, somebody was there. She knew where she was.
“Oi is that you Y/n?” A voice called out to her left
She turned, noticing a pair of dark colored eyes staring at her, a young boy about her age with spiked hair and a light blue shirt with running shorts.
“Oh hey Iwaizumi.”
“What are you doing here?”
His eyes darted to her notebook in her hand, seeing her freeze while sitting something and instantly pushing it into her bag.
“Still not gonna tell me what you’re working on? Come on I’m your friend it’s not like I’m gonna laugh at it.”
“Hey Iwa where-“
A tall boy with chocolate eyes and hair walked out from inside the gym, his eyes locking with hers as a smile came to his face.
“Oh Y/n it’s so good to see you! Wait why are you here so late? You should be getting home.”
“I’m fine Oikawa. I don’t need a baby sitter on the way home.”
“Oh come on Y/n you know we get done with practice at this time, of course Iwa and I will walk you home.” Oikawa answered back
She sighed, both boys gathering their bags as Oikawa pulled the girl along as Iwaizumi walked behind them both. They had all been friends since middle school, Y/n coming out of nowhere and showing up at Kitagawa one day in the middle of the first year.
“Still haven’t gotten any taller now have you Y/n?”
“I’m fine with it it’s not like I’m gonna get any younger either. I’m fine with what I have.”
“She’s right Tooru. She may not be tall but she still looks like the youngest of the three of us.”
The girl felt the wind blow past her head, making her turn back as the light of the street lamps illuminated the city sidewalk behind the three of them. She stopped, almost making Iwaizumi crash into her.
“Y/n? You okay?”
There was a scent in the air… the scent of something else that was following them. They weren’t alone.
“Go.”
“Go? Where? What’s going on?”
A dark figure with a wooden mask and fur going around its neck while it walked on two feet jumped out from the shadows of the alleyway. There were at least five of them now, all holding simple wooden torches. They charged at her, all jumping into the air before anyone could make a move.
“Get out of here!”
“But-“ Tooru began
“I said go! I’ll know where to find you two. Just run!”
To be continued???
A/N: I lowkey wanna finish this but I can’t decide if it’s gonna be a Kuroo or Oikawa x Reader (my indecisive ass is being a pain). As for my break, I’m coming back little by little. I won’t get fully into it but a while ago, I lost a family member and a pet of mine. That’s all I’m saying as it’s still hard for me to even think of or talk about. I thought about this while my bf and I were watching some episodes (he’s never seen it) and it just came to me. Obviously this’ll be a full “story”, so of course it’ll have lots more descriptive writing and better planning. Let me know what you think!!

For Enrichment! (Oneshot)
Summary: You teach Xiao what enrichment is, and he realizes how much you mean to him.
Pairing: Xiao X Reader
•~°~•
“Oh dear,” You voice reached Xiao’s pointed ears, gently tugging him out of his keen observation of the night-soaked marsh, “My nail-paint is fading.”
Golden eyes flicked over to you momentarily to catch a glimpse of your frown, before going back out to the sunset-stricken landscape ahead. The frown of yours stirred a concoction of emotions in his chest, eliciting a furrow of his brow as he wondered what there was to be so upset about from the artificial color of your nails fading as it always does. Few would he feel comfortable questioning, because few would he want for an answer he would value---but from you things were different.
“Why do you care so much about that nail color anyways? Why do you even paint them?” Xiao asked, soft voice tinged with its usual rasp and unintentional scrutinizing tone.
Ever patient you were, you looked up and smiled, illuminated by the moonlight. You were leaning perhaps a little languidly on the rail, and the thought flickers through his head how pretty you were against the backdrop of the marsh. He pulls his eyes away from you as you absentmindedly rubbed your nails.
“Well, first off,” You hum, “The color is less pretty when it's all faded. And secondly, it's just fun, you know?”
Xiao furrowed his brow. Fun was not in his vocabulary.
“Than,” He attempted to be gentler, letting himself surrender to the curiosity within, the strange and foreign desire sitting in his head like a nagging little thing, “What is the point?”
“Why, enrichment, of course!” You answer as if it was clear and plain. Folded arms, the Yaksha tapped his fingernails along his arm, slightly angling himself towards you but kept his eyes on the marsh, remaining diligent. Diligent and doubtful of your statement. “Life is meant to be enjoyed, at least sometimes, Xiao. Little pretty things in life are little and pretty, but doesn't that make them all add up into something wonderful?”
He turned the idea over in his head. Life---meant to be enjoyable.
“I still don't understand,” Xiao answered honestly. “I do not like my nails stained.”
“Well sure,” Patient. Patient you ever were, too many humans got so frustrated with him, and he with them, but the patience you displayed made him wonder if you lived longer than your captivating beauty led him to believe. “But my lovely demon hunter, what about Almond Tofu?”
Almond Tofu. Then it clicked. He did enjoy almond Tofu a great deal. Life he wasn't sure about it being meant to be enjoyed, but perhaps that belief of yours is what led you to him, because for some strange reason you saw him and decided to love him despite his blood-stained soul, so unworthy of devotion.
But he enjoyed Almond Tofu. He enjoyed a cool breeze, the peaceful moments before a patrol, the time spent with you, listening to your musings---the way you looked at him.
Away from the marsh surely crawling with things soon to be slayed, Xiao looked at you.
“To enrich life then?” Into your eyes he stared. He thinks you're enriching. Something fleeting, unexpected, but also here to stay. If you were not here, Xiao would simply go on as he did before. But, he thinks he would've lost something. This---you---were what humans called the spice of life, he thinks to himself. Perhaps more. Much more.
“To enrich life,” You nodded with asureness. “It's okay to indulge in little things every now and then, maybe pointless, but delightful nonetheless.”
You weren't pointless, not to Xiao. Not at all, he realizes in that moment. His own opinion forms; Enrichment was not pointless at all. You were enrichment. And you...
Desire struck him, and he inwardly cringed, tapping his fingers along his arm once more, golden stare intense. You did not shrink, he stood close.
“I…”
“Yes?”
Patient. Patient. Patient.
Beautiful.
He thinks you're breathtaking.
Maybe this once, he would indulge in enrichment other than Almond Tofu. So he leaned forward, and brushed his lips against yours. The feeling was like lightning coursing through him, wonderful and horribly alarming at the same time.
The blush on your cheeks, your wide eyes, the smile on your lips as you lifted a hand to touch your lips---yes that look…
It was Xiao’s enrichment.
You enriched his life.
You made it good.

Interruption~Han Ji-hoon
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wearning: slight smut, age-gap.
Request: yes!
You stand in your small room, hands shaking as you gently apply a bandage to Han Ji-hoon’s wounds. The once confident prosecutor now appears vulnerable, with cuts and bruises that testify to the recent battles they’ve fought together.
Your mind wanders back to the day you were adopted by Ji Kang-in, the feared leader of the Black Team, known as “Yaksha.” To him, you weren’t just an agent; you were the daughter he never had. Under his tutelage, you learned the art of war, deception, and survival. But nothing prepared you for the arrival of Han Ji-hoon, the uncompromising prosecutor sent to investigate the team’s operations in Shenyang.
At first, Ji-hoon’s presence had created tension. His rigid adherence to the law contrasted with your adoptive father’s ruthless methods. However, with each mission, you observed a change in him. His determination to do the right thing, even at the cost of his own safety, has begun to chip away at your armor.
During the last operation, an ambush by enemy agents left Ji-hoon gravely injured. Without hesitation, you carried him to the safety of your room, away from the prying eyes of the rest of the team. As you cleaned a particularly deep wound on his arm, you felt his hand lightly rest on yours.
“Thank you,” he whispers, his voice hoarse with pain.
You smile softly and continue to tend to his wounds. He was sitting on the floor at the foot of the bed while you were sitting on one of his legs tending to the wound.
He winces as the needle pierces his skin, his jaw clenching. Despite his obvious discomfort, he doesn't pull away. His dark eyes fixed on you, studying your every movement with a mixture of intrigue and... something else."Does it hurt?" You ask, trying to divert his attention from the pain.
He shakes his head, managing a small smile."I've had worse."
His hand on your leg tightens its grip, his thumb lightly tracing small circles on your thigh. You try to ignore the fluttering sensation in your chest as his touch sends tingles through your body. You focus your attention back on the task at hand, gently wrapping the wound in a clean bandage. The silence hangs between you, heavy with unspoken words. The proximity of his body, the strength radiating from him...He lets out a low hiss as you apply a little too much pressure on a particularly sensitive area. Your eyes fly up to meet his, an apology already forming on your lips. But before you can speak, he interrupts you.
"Don't apologize," he murmurs, his voice low and gravelly. Your eyes are drawn to his lips as he speaks, your fingers lingering a little too long on his skin.He leans closer, his gaze locked on your face. His hand moves from your thigh to your waist, his touch becoming more familiar, more possessive. You can hear the steady thumping of your heartbeat in your ears, the tension crackling between you like electricity.
You swallow hard, your throat suddenly dry. This is all uncharted territory, the boundaries between you shifting with every passing moment. His touch, his gaze, it's all sending your senses into overdrive. You try to focus on the task at hand, but you're acutely aware of every movement of his body, every subtle change in his breathing. He is close enough that you can feel the warmth radiating off him, smell the scent of his skin, a mixture of sweat and something uniquely his. As you tie the last knot, your hands brush his chest, the brief contact sending a jolt of anticipation through you .
He lets out a low rumble, a possessive sound that makes you shiver. His hand moves from your waist to your chin, tilting your face up to meet his gaze. The intensity in his eyes takes your breath away. His fingers trail lightly over your cheek, tracing a path to your jawline. His touch is delicate, almost reverent, and it makes your heart race."You are so beautiful," he whispers, his thumb brushing over your lower lip.
Your body responds to his words, your breath catching in your chest. His words are like a drug, intoxicating and addictive.
"Thank you,"you whisper softly.
His gaze softens at your response and he gently tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear, still holding your chin in his hand. He stares at you intently, his eyes roaming over your face as if trying to memorize every detail. "I've never met anyone like you," he says, his voice barely above a whisper. "So strong, so beautiful..yet with so much pain buried within."
Ji-hoon drags you astride his horse and you rest your arms on his shoulders. He positions you comfortably on his lap, one arm draping over your waist, the other hand cradling the back of your head. Your bodies are now pressed against each other, the heat and the subtle scent of him enveloping you. You can feel his heart hammering in his chest, the steady rhythm mirroring your own.
His gaze never leaves your face, his dark eyes full of intensity and something that seems a lot like desire. He leans a little closer, his lips a breath away from yours.
The moment seems frozen in time, your bodies suspended in this intimate bubble. You can feel the heat radiating from him, his body hard and unyielding underneath you. You can also feel the tremors of anticipation coursing through you, your nerves singing with tension and need. His hand in your hair tightens its grip, gently pulling your head back, exposing the soft skin of your neck. He lowers his head, his lips hovering over the pulse point, and you shiver in anticipation.
His warm breath whispers over your skin and then his lips lightly brush against your pulse, sending electric shocks down your spine. Your fingers sink into his back, clutching onto him tightly. He nuzzles the sensitive spot beneath your ear, his lips tracing a lazy path down to the curve of your shoulder. His hand on your waist moves to the small of your back, pulling you closer, making sure not even a sliver of space remains between your bodies.
You can feel the fire building inside you, fueled by his touch, his proximity. It's almost overwhelming, this heady feeling of desire and desperation. You try to think, to process what's happening, but your mind is clouded, your thoughts scattered. His mouth finds its way back to your neck, his teeth grazing your skin in a teasing bite. You let out a soft gasp, your body arching into him. He takes advantage of the moment, his lips gently capturing yours in a searing kiss.
You lean against him, kissing him back.He responds hungrily to your kiss, his hand coming up to grip the back of your neck, holding you in place. His lips move against yours, demanding, possessive. He deepens the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth with a fervor that takes your breath away. His other hand moves down your back, slipping under the hem of your crop top,and you shiver at the feeling of his palm against your bare skin.
He murmurs your name, his voice hoarse with need and desire. He kisses your jawline, your cheeks, the sensitive spot behind your ear, leaving no part of you untouched. His hand on your back moves up, his fingertips tracing a path up your spine, making you shiver and arch into him.You can feel the intensity of his need mirrored in your own body, the heat building between you threatening to consume you both.
You sighs heavily, "you'll get killed by Yaksha",you say amused since yaksha considered you like a daughter.
He pauses, a slow, wolfish smile tugging at the corners of his lips. He pulls back a little, just enough to look into your eyes, his gaze filled with a heady mix of desire and mischief."I think I can handle him," he says, his voice dripping with confidence. He leans in again, his lips brushing against the shell of your ear. "Besides, it'll be worth it." His meaning is clear, and your body responds, a shiver running down your spine.
You cuddle him and stroke his hair while kissing his jaw."You're looking for trouble" *you whisper amusedly.
He hums approvingly, his eyes falling shut as you run your fingers through his hair. His arms tighten around you, as if he's trying to pull you even closer.*"Maybe I am," he murmurs, his voice low and rough. His head tilts to the side, granting you better access to his neck, and you take the opportunity to trail kisses along the exposed skin. His body responds, his hands gripping you tighter, his breathing growing ragged.
He groans softly, the sound sending a rush of heat through you. He turns his head, his lips finding yours once again in a kiss that starts slow and gentle, but quickly becomes more urgent, more demanding. His hands move to your hips, lifting you slightly so that you're straddling him. You can feel the evidence of his desire pressing against your thigh, and the knowledge of how much he wants you makes your head spin.
He breaks the kiss, his lips trailing down your throat, his teeth leaving a trail of marks on your skin. His hand slips under your top, his palm flat against your back, skin on skin, and you can feel the possessive way he's holding you.
Your body is on fire, every nerve ending hyper-aware of his touch. Your fingers dig into his shoulders, clinging to him as if he's the only stable thing in a world that's spinning out of control. He lifts his head, his dark eyes meeting yours again, and there's a new element present. It's a mixture of desire and determination, and it sends a thrill through you.He leans in, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispers,* "You're mine."
You hum happily and hug him.He melts into the hug, his arms wrapping around you, holding you tightly to him. His face is buried in the crook of your neck, and you can feel his breath warm against your skin.
"Mine," he repeats, the word filled with a sense of possession and protectiveness that makes your heart flutter. He pulls back slightly so he can look at you, his eyes dark and intense. He gently tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, his touch so tender it contradicts the intensity of his words.
His forehead rests against yours, and for a moment, everything else fades away. It's just you and him, locked in this intimate bubble. His fingers trace the contour of your face, memorizing every detail, and you feel exposed, vulnerable, but somehow safe.
His thumb brushes over your bottom lip, his gaze fixated on your mouth. He looks like he's seconds away from kissing you senseless again.
His eyes darken further, his pupils dilating as he watches your ministration, his thumb caught between your lips. He let out a low, guttural sound, half growl, half moan, and it sends a wave of heat through your core."You're playing a dangerous game," he murmurs, his voice raspy with desire.
“You started the game,” you said, taking his thumb out of your mouth with a 'pop.'
Ji-hoon chuckles, a low, rough sound that sends another shiver down your spine. For a moment, he just looks at you, his gaze roaming over your face, his thumb tracing a wet path on your chin.
He leans in, his mouth hovering just above your ear, his breath warm on the side of your neck. "And I'm very good at finishing what I start," he said, his voice a husky rasp.
He nips at your earlobe, his teeth gently biting down, before he whispers, "I won't stop until I hear you moan my name."The words are like a trigger, igniting a fire within you that demands to be fed.
Your eyes darken with lust and you cling tighter to him as you kiss him hungrily. He responds to the kiss eagerly, his hands gripping your hips, holding you firmly against him. He pulls your body flush against his, his chest against yours. You can feel the tension radiating off him, every muscle in his body coiled like a spring. His tongue explores your mouth, tasting and claiming, with a possessiveness that steals your breath away. He shifts his legs, forcing yours wider apart, and you feel the hard length of him pressing against you, a delicious friction that makes you moan shamelessly into his mouth.
His hands are everywhere, roaming under your top, leaving a trail of fire in their wake. He touches you as if he can't get enough, as if he's trying to commit every part of you to memory. He breaks the kiss, his lips finding their way to your neck, his teeth scraping against your sensitive skin, leaving a trail of marks in their path."Say my name," he whispers, his voice a rough, needy command.
"Ji-hoon" you whisper.
He hums in approval, satisfied by your response, but also wanting more. He kisses your jaw, your cheek, the corner of your mouth, before capturing your lips again in a feverish kiss. His hands slide down your back, gripping you tightly, as if he's afraid you'll disappear if he lets go. He breaks apart just long enough to say, "Again."
He pulls back slightly, looking at you, his eyes hooded and dark with desire. He leans his forehead against yours, his breathing ragged, as if he's struggling for control.
"I want to hear you say it again," he murmurs, his voice rough with need. One of his hands moves down to cup your ass, squeezing it gently, a possessive gesture that makes you shiver.
"Ji-hoon" you say, moaning softly.
This time, he doesn't just hum in approval, he growls, low and feral. He claims your lips in a demanding kiss, his tongue delving into your mouth as if he can't get enough of you.His hands wander down your back, slipping under the waistband of your pants, his fingers teasing the sensitive skin there.
Ji-hoon freezes, his body going tense as he pulls away from you, the mood shattered by the sudden intrusion.
Yaksha steps into the room, his eyes narrowing as he takes in the sight before him. You still straddling Ji-hoon, both of you looking slightly disheveled. He crosses his arms and arches an eyebrow.
"What is going on here?" His voice is low and calm, but you can hear the underlying edge of annoyance. He looks from you to Ji-hoon, his gaze lingering on the possessive hand still resting on your hip.Ji-hoon clears his throat, trying to compose himself. "I was just... uh... we were..."
Yaksha cuts him off with a sharp gesture. "Save it. I need to speak with you. Alone."
“Dad-,” you tried to tell Yaksha. You considered him your father in every way.
Yaksha's gaze softens as he looks at you, his stern expression softening into something bordering on affectionate. But then he shakes his head slightly, his expression hardening again.
"Not now," he says, gesturing for Ji-hoon to follow him.
Ji-hoon hesitates, looking at you, his expression torn between leaving and staying. But the command in Yaksha's voice is unmistakeable, and he relents, pushing you gently off his lap and rising to his feet.
Yaksha turns and walks out of the room, expecting Ji-hoon to follow. After a moment's hesitation, Ji-hoon does, casting a final, longing glance back at you before closing the door behind him.

Ever since the two of you met, Xiao's life has been both better and terribly worse for it. Your presence brings him joy he previously couldn't even imagine. But when left alone with his thoughts for too long, they take him places darker than anything the eons of karmic suffering have ever made him experience. Nagging, pervasive musings wreck his soul as his mind conjures visions of what he's convinced will one day be your inevitable departure from the mortal plane. With you gone, all that he would be left with are emptiness, pain and sorrow - companions perhaps a touch too familiar to his troubled disposition. Xiao tries to dismiss these thoughts, unwilling to burden you with any of it. Until one day, he cannot bear the crushing weight these feelings place upon him and he finally reveals his anxiety over the brevity of your existence and how the mere idea of your absence terrifies him to the very core. It's only when he's done confessing his fears, that he dares to raise his head, sharp eyes studying your face, discovering a comforting smile gracing your lips. Unsure what to think of your reaction, he simply waits for you to speak, the white of his knuckles the sole detail betraying the illusion of composure he's been trying to upkeep, despite all he just shared with you. Your hand reaches forward, taking a hold of his. You draw it towards your ribcage, allowing him to feel the steady beat within it as you divulge that you and him share more than anyone else is presently aware of - a fate not threatened by mortality. A life you can and wish to spend by his side. He gazes at you, speechless, eventually mimicking your gesture in kind. But as you trace his pulse with reverent fingertips, he needs not verbalize that his heart beats for you, just as much as yours does for him. And that it always will.

I really like to think of Xiao as the youngest of the Yakshas, since his name 魈 (mountain demon) sounds similar to Xiao (小, small), which gives me an excuse to make the Yakshas call him Xiao Xiao, so small Xiao <33

Xiao x reader, no specific reader type
word count: 900+
things to know: In this drabble, you’re Smiley Yanxiaos apprentice and work in the kitchen of the Wangshu Inn. However, your lack of adapting to water is shown when you lose your footing collecting ingredients and plummet into the cold ocean below you.
content warnings: none! (I think)
authors note: I wrote this so long ago I’m scared
Tumblr media
You’ve awoken with small, hurried taps on your left cheek, a moving shadow blocking the sun in front of you as you laid on your back. Your throat still a little tight from previously ingesting large amounts of salt water, you immediately took in two shuddered breaths and attempted to flip to your side trying to cough out the remains.
A strong hand pushed your back helping you turn, the other holding your bicep tightly as if you’d simply drift away if not held back. You didn’t have time to wince from the pressure however, the patterned cough and forced gasp of air occupying your attention before finally letting down and allowing you to open your shut eyes. It sure took a while before you recognized where you were, the blaring afternoon sun struggling to keep you smitten against the rough sand.
“You were reckless today. There are plenty of more secure areas throughout Liyue to go sightseeing,” a familiar man’s voice barked out near you, his figure slowly materializing in front of you. The blue haired man was turning you on your back once more, briefly dragging you forward until your back hit a rock to lean on. His thighs were situated on either side of you as he stood, unconsciously respectful of your body as only his hands touched and held onto your arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and back to wrists.
“Do not let me find you in this state again. A foolish choice like this will bring nothing but worry to those around, do you understand?” His grip tightened around your wrists as he repeated his last question with a little more force. One could’ve easily mistaken his words for those of malice if his piercing eyes weren’t blown wide. Not many can say they’ve come face to face with the Yaksha, but the limited rumors you’ve heard certainly never mentioned the slight fear behind his pupils. Or the way his jaw barely trembled not completely from anger, but worry as well.
If you weren’t speechlessly staring at him and observing every little detail, you could’ve missed these small signs. But unfortunately, today you’ve missed it. Being used to getting ushered away or discarded when asked to speak to the Yaksha, you simply did not expect him to be anything but mad at you. But that is the way of your current job, and you couldn’t find it in you to care enough to interact with him, no matter how many times the rest of the staff told you to be wary of your attitude towards your nations protector.
Trying to compose yourself, you unsuccessfully try to lean on your elbows to push yourself up and look him in the eyes. From the position you were in you didn’t feel cornered at all, no, but him looming over you in such a position made it hard to not feel trapped underneath him.
Still recovering from almost drowning, you’ve been opening your mouth slightly to whisper fragments of his name, never a full word leaving your lips as he stared at you with the same wide eyes. He didn’t seem to hear or notice these small movements, apparently occupied with longingly patrolling your face and chest/breathing patterns as if to convince himself you were okay. You WERE okay, just shocked from his behavior. Were you really in such danger when he found you?
Xiao must have felt you shifting about when he let go of your wrists in a quick manner, a quick exhale leaving his nose before hurriedly climbing off of you. Almost on instinct your hands followed him before stopping. His gaze never left you as you once again shifted onto your elbows to sit up straighter, one hand stuck in air as if you were reaching to an alley cat trying to console it.
“I’m sorry,” was all you could muster, too ashamed to look up at him as he rose and walked towards his discarded polearm. Your eyes were focused on the sand surrounding you two; the solid line leading to you indicating him dragging you towards shore. A single pair of footprints occupied the right side and stopped right beside you. He truly has not left your side before you woke up. “Xiao, I truly am.”
“An apology does not matter to me. I do not protect for apologies.”
He turned to look at you over his shoulder. “Please,” he almost mutters to himself, “return safely. And dry.”
A tone low enough to easily be discarded between the sound of the waves and far away birds looking for their next meal. Miraculously, even the wind seemed to stop only to let his words make it to you. It made its way back to flow through your now-dry clothes once he disappeared within a blink.
Tumblr media
It was almost sundown once you’ve finally arrived back at the inn. Unfortunately you’ve seemed to misplace your burlap sack that you’ve taken with you, meaning your trip to bring back crystalflies was utterly meaningless.
You finally made it atop the stairs with a sigh, covering your face before entering the small kitchen quarters on instinct to avoid the hot fumes lingering in the air from stinging your eyes. It was almost a miracle you located your bag bursting to the edge with the shiny creatures hanging off the top of a chair, a small note folded over the strap with what you could only describe as a scribble for handwriting.
“If you must travel to the Guyun Stone Forest only for these, refrain. They are simple to catch for those with higher skill than a cooks apprentice.”

touch only where supposed to
summary , a movie night turns upside down when you get curious and touch xiao's horns. obviously, you were only massaging him. to him however....
⊰: incubus!sub!xiao x naive! neutral!reader
minors dni
Tumblr media
xiao seems to be uncomfortable from sitting on the same spot and the same seat for 2 hours now.., really did you have to pick a 3 hour movie? was an hour not enough for you?
he really regrets making the one year one day deal where he has to listen to whatever you say. he sighs to himself.
"xiao ? are you okay? you seem uncomfortable" you glance over at the yaksha, squirming in his seat and sighing occasionally. "you think? ive been seating here for 2 hours when is this movie ending??" he crosses his arms pouting and scoffing like a brat. "xiao you should've said something, here come lay on my lap" you pat your lap inviting him and smiling.
he hesitates but cave in after being uncomfortable for the hundredth time. the position is rather comforting to him and he can finally stretch his legs, thank archons you're rich and have a huge ass couch.
you seemed to be focusing alot on the movie. before xiao layed on your lap you played around with the spare remote that has the batteries removed. twirling it, pushing the buttons and dragging your fingers along it. now with xiao on your lap how can you distract yourself, you want to play with something in your hands and surprise surprise your little incubus boyfriend has sharp horns.
you've always been curious about a demons horns, you've read it was highly sensitive but you dont think so i mean its just horns right ? whats the big deal.
so without warning you land your hands on his horns, his eyes only widens but he leaves it be knowing you probably just needed to lay your hands on something.
but to his surprise you continue touching it more, especially the pointy part. you press your thumb on it not realising how sensitive that part is, honestly you just want to see how sharp it is. you drag and stroke your finger on the poor demons horns , but he seems quiet so your theory was correct a demons horn are not that sensitive after all!
but to xiao this was torture. if you could see his face right now you'd stop what youre doing. his hands are on his mouth muffling the moans he tried oh so hard to keep earlier but you keep touching them. his body is trembling and his free hand gripping the couch, a very visible hard on.
"ah.. ahn.. love c-can you stop that?" his voice comes out more whiny then expected of his usual cold stern voice. "stop what? oh this? sorry but you seem fine dont worry. imagine this like a... oh! a spa, you've never been to one right? yeah imagine this is a massage at the spa" your reply of innocence shines and so does the smile you give to the demon.
"mmh.. what youre doing i-isnt a massage.. ah-" despite his moans and whines you still insist on saying this is a spa, your naive brain is not processing just how dangerous this is. "relax xiao, now shut up its a good part"
but how can he shut up if you just wont stop touching him! this poor boy. again, you keep touching it. you use it as a indicator on your feelings towards to movie, some sad scenes you gripped onto his horns and oh boy was he loud.
"ah! a-...p-please love, ha.. st-stop" obviously you didnt hear him. even if a burglar came into your house you wouldn't hear them. at happy scenes you slow down, his moans and pants were of a relieved one only for you to continue abusing his poor horns because the soon happy scene turned to a murder one.
the end of the movie is nearing and so is xiao, the couple of the movie seems to finally make the next step and get married. you cry tears of happiness after the buildup of the couple, but xiao's tears was of overstimulation. youre stroking and gripping is only faster now and his voice and moans are way louder, he gives no fucks, he'll even let the neighbors hear.
"ah! pl,-please dont stop haa... hnnh love f-aster!" he whines, incoherent words and mumbles come out with slurry tones. his before muffled mouth from his hand are of a crosseyed lip biting xiao, his free hand if you can even see them from the dim lighting is palming his bulge that was leaking of precum moments ago.
finally the couple of the movie kiss and you grip so hard out of happiness with tears rolling down your eyes, and so does xiao.
"ah!! s-shit" his body jolts and his pants are faster and then slower to now heavy breaths.
the movie plays the end credits and you turn on the lights, stretching. "wow that was an amazing movie! i loved the part where they confessed on the beach, what was your favourite part?"
xiao who was now sitting up, body twitching while slouching, eyes closed and occasionally moaning softly from the aftermath, only nods. and finally everything click, the sweat beads and wet spot of his pants.... that wasnt just a massage it was a special massage.
that night you were apologising to a sulking xiao, next time he'll remember to get back at you and your pervy ways.

Journey of a Yaksha; Weeping Begonias
[ masterlist ] [ next part ] dividers by @/enchanthings
Tumblr media
Time had been cruel to you, as a Yaksha you were cursed gifted to live a long life. Yet the power that ran through your veins could not protect you from the suffering and illness you had obtained for being alive so long. Your memories began to wilt, to turn to ashes like the numerous plants and fauna during the war.
The earliest you could remember was not when you were but a baby or fawn, but it was when you were a weapon of war. The blood in your veins hailed from that of Yakshas, a race no doubt dwindling due to the ongoing war, a war to pick from the best of the best among the gods of Teyvat, to ascend and become Archons.
Yakshas were strong, illuminated beasts. Because of their strength and appearance, they were used in the War, to fight for the God they believed to be the best choice for Liyue, the region they were born in and grew to protect.
And because of that blood, you had been taken and enslaved by a cruel God. A god who would raise his hand towards his own allies. The God used you and your powers to slay and take lives, it did not matter if the life was innocent or not, if it was a god or mortal. Your God did not care, all he focused on was ridding the path he trekked on of any obstacles.
What you remembered then on was simply a life of bloodshed. You could not die, you could not truly live, for your entire being and individuality was taken by that God. And just like your memories, you emotions and self began to erode, leaving nothing but a husk, a perfect weapon of war.
Until,,,
You watched as the blood of your God wet the coarse dirt, you stood there like a statue, eyes casted down on the divine being.
The God who you once saw as nothing but Strong and Invincible seemed pathetic as he began to choke on his own blood, you did nothing to help with his injuries nor did you listen to his orders. Not because you couldn't, you simply didn't wanted to.
He was ready to sacrifice numerous lives, young and old, weak and strong, man and God, yet as he laid there on the ground, begging for help, nothing wanting to perish, you could only say...
"You who took so many lives, killed and plundered. . you should have been ready for your life to have been taken too." You chuckled, how did you let yourself be enslaved by such a God?
you began to laugh as the light in his eyes deemed, your only regret that day was that you did not kill him yourself.
What came after the death of your God was a new found freedom. One you did not want to relinquish to any other person but yourself. You decided to then leave the region and began travelling to the other regions, despite the ongoing war to chose an Archon.
Your first stop had been the region of Mondstadt, a cold desolate region covered by layers upon layers of white soul. There were two Gods battling for the throne that Celestia offered, one was Boreas and the other Decarabian. You did your best to avoid them, which was easier than you thought as the two Gods were stations northwest of the region.
"What is it you are looking for?" you turned to a wisp of wind, "I do not know." You answered truthfully as you turned away, hand held out as you watched the snowflakes rest on the palm of your calloused hands. The blood had dried, leaving a red stain on your hands.
As you explored the region you had met an elemental being and a bard, as well as a clan whose name was Gunnhildr. "Then if you have no plans, would you please lend us your aid?" the bard asked, his fingers strumming the harm in his hands.
"Okay."
It was relatively peaceful as long as you were away from the two Gods, yet you knew you could not stay there. Your powers were that of Dendro, and living in such a cold place will do you more harm than good.
So in the end you had to part ways with the group and head to a different region. By the time you had made it to Inazuma, there was a God that was chosen to become an Archon already, as there was no other competitors left in the nation of Electro, at least that was what you thought.
You had the pleasure of meeting her, a woman of elegance and beauty, Makoto was her name. She was never alone, if its not her friends or attendants, then she was always accompanied by her sister, Ei.
Both were strong in their own ways and believed in 'Eternity' albeit in different perspectives. Makoto believed in the beauty of transience, which was something constant in the world. While Ei had believed in something she had described as 'stillness.' Such words had been beyond you at the time.
Being raised and used as a weapon you had not received education outside of knowledge needed in the battlefield. So that was where Makoto had came, offering to teach her the beauty of humanity, and the things that "were outside of war."
That period of life in your memories were beautiful, but just like Makoto's ideals, it was transient. For when the snake God Orobashi came, there began a new war which led to you having to leave.
The idea of war and more bloodshed had disgusted you, but more so it traumatized you. Not in the way that you cried or your body tremored, but in the way how you began to shut down. Retreating behind a wall of indifference and withdrawal.
It was Makoto who suggested you leave and continue to journey across Teyvat for a home.
"I hope you come back again though." she said brushing your hair one last time. "Me and Ei will miss you."
". . ." you remained silent, unable to find the right words to respond with, from the mirror's reflection you could see Makoto smile softly behind you, "Please be careful."
You bobbed your head, looking at your clenched fists. A feeling began to grow in you, but it was not bloodlust or anger, it was something else, resembling the crashing waves of the ocean or the faces the bard had made along with the others as you had left mondstadt.
"are you sad?"
"i don't know"
You set sailed on a boat provided to you by Makoto and Ei along with directions that led you to Sumeru, the nation of Dendro. Sumeru was maintained by three gods, who unfortunately you did not have a pleasure of meeting. That was where you reached your journey's end (or so you thought), deciding the forests of sumeru would be a good place for you to rest.
Living in the rain forest area of Sumeru was fun, peaceful, and perfect for a yaksha such as yourself. You were able to become in tuned with your element, there was no frost or snow that covered and hindered the growth of plants like in mondstadt, there was no electro that hurt you like in Inazuma, and there was no more war and bloodshed unlike in Liyue which greatly reduced mother nature's presence.
You built yourself a hut up one of the more giant trees in the forest, you were able to live off on the rivers and berries there that you could harvest. There were not much people in the area you had made your home in.
What served as your company however were cute little creatures, aranara as they called themselves, and called you Nara Vana. Any humans or remotely human looking individual they had addressed as Nara, however Vana was something you would come to realize meant the forest. It was rather fitting as a dendro in tuned Yaksha.
They regularly visited you, giving you some small tokens like flowers or fruit and in turn you would protect them when you saw they were in danger, spend time with them and help them with anything else. When they had trusted you a great deal, they had introduced to you their Queen, a beautiful woman with white hair, who did not at all look like how you imagined (you thought she would be an Aranara, not a human!)
However all good things would come to an end, their visits dwindled until it stopped entirely, leaving you by your lonesome in your home.
And then there were the rumors, rumors you'd hear from passing humans, travelers making their way out of the region.
There was a sickness in Sumeru, one that greatly affected life. It sapped the energy from the fauna in the forest, turning once verdant green life to withery brown death.
The withering, as people began to call it, a curse that decays life. Once blue waters turned murky, unhealthy for consumption, once strong and bouncy mushrooms you had once jumped on for fun, shriveled into nothing but an empty husk, that should you even try to touch it, would wither to dust.
As a Yaksha aligned with the dendro element, the place that once became your home turned into your own undoing. The withering began to attach itself onto people, a true disease. A disease you could not find a cure to.
So you fled, hoping your conditions would not worsen, you turned back to Liyue. Your mother nation.
But your timing was unfortunate as a cataclysmic event had started upon the continent. The chasm had caved in, destroyed and evacuated. You yourself had to scale the mountains and take a longer detour than necessary up north, it was at Lumberpick Valley did you find the answers you were hoping for.
The Archon of Liyue as well as that of the other nations had left, going to the kingdom of Khaenri'ah for war.
As you looked at the destruction that was brought to the chasm, it made you remember the pains of the Archon war. You who were inflicted with a disease that was currently untreatable, who could you ask for help? certainly not the archon of geo, Morax, for you were once a vassal of one of his enemies, and even then, what could you even offer in exchange?
You did not want to swear your loyalty to a God you do not know, because that was the same as giving them your freedom.
So despite the effects of Eleazar taking its tolls on you, you continued on with your journey. You could not join the city of Liyue, you could not go back to Sumeru as there were still no news of a cure..
Inazuma was far away to travel to, you'd fear your time on the boat would be the final nail to the coffin, and while Mondstadt was more closer, you had found out due to their archon, Barbatos, it was no longer a desolate wasteland of snow and ice, so you set to mondstadt.
Your journey north of Liyue was hard, the disease began eating away at your vitality, dark scales began to grown across your skin, your limbs were no longer strong, sometimes locking up causing you to often trip and injure yourself.
By the time you had come to Wuwang Hill, most of your body had began to shut down, you were crippled and all you could truly use were your arms to pull your body across the dirt.
it was raining harshly that night, the drops of rain lightly hitting your hardened skin, you didn't feel a thing, your body was like stone, hard, devoid of warmth and unfeeling.
you were close to Mondstadt, all you had to do was go through the stone gate.. you hoped Barbatos would be able to treat you. however a landslide had occurred due to the rainfall causing you to fall down a slope, your legs being buried by dirt.
you were tired, so tired and scared, as your eyes began to close due to the fatigue.
you did not want to die.
realizing that you would not be able to reach the nation of freedom, you decided, as a last ditch effort, to put yourself into a deep sleep. Using the last of your powers, you made a flower grow so large it could swallow you whole! and it did, before disappearing underground, only for it to open centuries later when the effects of Eleazar had decreased enough for you to walk again.
Tumblr media
🍃 you did not know that Queen Aranyani was the Dendro Archon.
🍃 you have been inflicted with Eleazar during your time in Sumeru, when you put yourself in a coma, it serves to heal and reverse the symptoms, but you will still be inflicted with Eleazar and it will appear again.
🍃 the reason why you'd ask help from Barbatos than from Morax, was because you thought that the archon from the Nation of Freedom would not ask your freedom as compensation for his help.
🍃Reader is very intuned with nature as a dendro element user, and as an illuminated beast from dendro (im just making shit up but shushh) you were more vulnerable to the withering.
🍃 your power is also from nature/dendro, as you were already weak, going on a trip to inazuma, a boat in the middle of water, would have actually killed you since there were no plants to get energy from.
🍃 weapon is up to choice, you can leave suggestions in the comments, the most often weapon type commented will be chosen.
part 2 is a work in progress.

You didn't like being a demon, you didn't like hurting people either. And you always wonder why Xiao never once tried to kill you, exorcise you, or, well, you know - just get rid of you! It wasn't until you asked him one rainy day and finally got your answer. You both were sitting on the balcony of the Wangshu Inn. Your eyes piercing into his bright gold ones.
"Because I love you."
He said it so casually. Roughly too in that deep and matter of fact voice of his. And truly, you could never understand his answer. Simply because you were a demon and your memories of being a yaksha were long gone.

can you make a story where you are part of the yaksha group and you were a daughter to him. And you were in a small room healing the wounds of the prosecutor Han ji hoon. Like they fall in love or something. The movie is yaksha: ruthless operation, not if you have seen it.

美梦 [ měimèng ] means sweet dream warnings: none word-count: 605

Xiao's bond with you is strong - so much so that he occasionally offers a reminder, voice gruff as he tells you of his fears about the possible effects his prolonged presence may cause. At times he disappears for days - or even weeks, claiming it is for your own good, only to return looking worn out, exhaustion written all over his features, causing the already existing seeds of worry in your heart to take root. Eventually you can no longer take it and decide to try and follow him - but to no avail, coming to the conclusion that tracking down an adeptus who doesn't wish to be found is no easy task. Aware of your attempts, the stubborn yaksha continues to avoid you, much to your dismay. Refusing to just give up, you persist even so, setting out to chase after him time after time, chipping away at his resolve to remain hidden, bit by bit, until curiosity finally puts a halt to his evasiveness, offering you a chance to find him at last. It is then you get to see exactly why he has been attempting to hide as he regards you warily, covered with in sweat, chest heaving in a staccato of sharp intakes of breath and exasperated exhales. You try to approach him closer and he shakes his head, the unspoken warning not to dare looming between you like an invisible barrier. Not wanting to pressure him further while he's in such a state, you let go, retreating to your room at the topmost level of the inn, glad to have shared at least that short, albeit rather unsettling, moment. Several weeks pass by, blossoms of concern blooming underneath your sternum, stemming from Xiao's extended absence. Yet despite them, you still choose to give him time, to let him come back to you on his own terms. And come back he does. Quietly watching from the rooftop for a while, tentative steps finding their way into your lodgings only once he's assured you're sound asleep. He wants more than anything to simply be with you, to feel you place your palm upon his brow and let the relief your closeness provides wash over him like a soothing rain while you cradle his head in your hands. But he finds himself uncertain. Reluctant to be the subject of your pity - or worse yet, to have his crippling bouts of karma cause you any harm. He settles down by the side of your bed, close enough to feel your warmth but without a direct contact, allowing his eyes to close in a moment of blissful indulgence - a respite he has ached for longer than he'd ever wish to admit.
"Just for a little while," he tells himself, sliding an arm between the blanket and his cheek, leaning against the edge of your mattress carefully. After all, adepti don't really need to rest, right? The soft rays of sunshine greet a brand new day and you wake with Xiao still by your side, stirring slightly at the sensation of your fingers combing through his teal streaked hair. At last, you feel like you can breathe again, solace dissolving the pesky tangle of doubts wedged in your chest as you take in the sight of his relaxed form, dozing peacefully mere inches away. Emboldened by overwhelming affection, you lean down, pressing a loving kiss to his forehead. Your actions, gentle as they are, don't go unnoticed, reflected in the yaksha's pleasant dream, sweeter now than it already was before. Perhaps someday he might get used to this. You know you definitely could.
