Starting off, we already know Will is unstable. You just happen to be that final push.

He's classified as a protective yandere and he's definitely not delusional.

He knows what he's feeling is wrong, when you love someone you shouldn't think about locking them away and keeping them to yourself.

He'll go through inner turmoil between his morality given his occupation and his obsessive love for you.

He just wants to keep you safe and he wants to be the person to provide that for you.

He's also a paranoid person, potential harm against you is the main reason he will fancy the idea of kidnapping you.

From his line of work, he understands perfectly how horrible people can be and something happening to you is that final push he needs.

He just can't allow something to happen to you. He would rather die.

Therefore, this is where the stalking will start.

Inevitably, he will find out everything about you regarding your schedule, the places you visit frequently, the people you speak with, etc.

Trust me, this man will basically have everything on file.

Stalking you will further enhance his obsession love for you.

He starts fantasizing about a life with you including taking you on fishing trips with him and showing you how to properly cast and how loved you will be with him and his multitude of dogs.

Eventually, this will lead towards actually kidnapping you.

He would sneak into your home in the middle of the night where he knows you're already asleep.

While you're asleep, he will sedate you to make sure you wouldn't fight him when he finally took you from your home.

After he kidnaps you, he will do everything he can to make sure you were comfortable and taken care of.

When he arrived home with you, he carefully placed you on his bed and secured you with handcuffs on one of your legs.

You would be comfortable yet unable to reach for other things that would be a danger towards yourself and him.

He made sure that his bedside tables were out of reach.

While you were still heavily sedated from the drug, he stayed beside you until you woke up. He kept a hand on yours, his thumb rubbing against your knuckles.

He's honestly the best yandere to have fall for you because your comfort and happiness is his number one priority. Anything you want, he will get. Besides freedom but you get the gist.

You won't be restrained for long, if you behave he will remove the cuffs from you.

However, don't try to run from him or fight him. He's not afraid to restrain you again.

When he needs to work though, he will restrain you again in case you try to run while he's gone.

If you don't try anything, Will's not against giving you more freedom. He will begin to trust you and trust that you know better than to try and run.

Some restrictions will be lifted. For instance, allowing you more free reign around the house and even outside.

However, when you want to go outside he will need to go with you, holding your hand the entire time.

He's an affectionate yandere.

He loves spoiling you in kisses and cuddles because it's been practically ages since he's been in a relationship and you're the love of his life.

His favorite moment is when he gets to walk with you and the dogs around his property. It makes him feel incredibly domestic and that everything is normal.

When you start to become more docile and allow him to act as your significant other, he will be enthusiastic.

He's too paranoid to try taking you out in public. The risk of you running away or people recognizing you as a missing person is the last thing he needs.

He still has night terrors. Some of which include you not loving him and being scared of him for the monster he is.

When he woke up drowning in sweat with you rubbing his back, he will grip you tightly and sob into your chest.

That would be the only time he would feel guilty about what he's done.

However, after you calming him down and helping him feel better that feeling will start to vanish.

Seeing you finally falling for him and giving him equal affection would make him feel like taking you the way he did was righteous.

If someone managed to find you and/or God forbid hurt you, Will's going to snap.

He will literally drag this person to the ground and beat them to death, he doesn't play when it comes to protecting you.

After he disposes of the body, he will pull you into him and comfort your fearful cries, shushing you and stroking your hair.

the older man suffered a concussion and wills leg was repeatedly pierced by bullets

it was jack who rushed the to the hospital, knowing damn well it would take hours for any ambulance to arrive

hannibal kept insisting he’s fine, but the policeman was having none of it

he collapsed on the hospital floor

the man woke up to the rhythmic sounds of the operational room: monotone beeping, a clock idly signaling its presence

a soft timbre brought his closer to consciousness, but an excruciating headache soon followed

torn between slumber and awareness, he groaned quietly

After everything that had happened between them and Abigail, Hannibal and Will had no plans on trying to care for someone else anytime soon, if ever. They were starting their life together after Red Dragon and in a calm place where there was no danger of being found by the FBI when they met you.

When Hannibal and Will first met you, they initially kept a cautious distance. Still reeling from the events with Abigail, they were reluctant to make room for someone else in their lives. However, over time, you proved to be a comforting and intriguing presence. It didn't help that you remembered her in some ways. Maybe it was your looks or your personality, but they couldn't help but find it refreshing and bizarre at the same time how much you reminded them of her.

As the days passed, you showed a unique understanding of the complexities of the human mind, something that fascinated them deeply. Your calm presence and ability to adapt to your surroundings intrigued them. Will felt comfortable around you, something few people had the ability to do and Hannibal found himself drawn to the way you thought more and more.

Your presence brought a sense of normalcy to them, something they had long lost. You brought a good feeling to them, something they had lost along the way. It was Hannibal who convinced Will to "adopt", to bring you to live with them. Will, although a little reluctant to take you away from your family, eventually accepted. That was how you became part of their family and they had no intention of letting you go.

Hannibal was the one who brought you in and Will covered for him. Although they wanted to make you part of their twisted family in a "normal" way, plans quickly changed. The initial plans were to get close to you and manipulate you, make you hate your family so that you would realize that they were the only ones who could truly care for you.

But when it became clear that you didn't seem to respond to the manipulations, they decided to take another course of action. During one night when you were walking alone, much to their disapproval, Hannibal quickly knocked you out and brought you with him. You would finally be safe with them. Will placed you on the bed prepared for you, covering you as he tended to your sleep.

You would have to accept your place quickly or there will be consequences. Hannibal is a psychiatrist, he knows that what they did can inflict trauma on you and he will be patient with you for as long as you need, but if you are too stubborn or don't respond to the mandatory therapy he will give you, he is not against using other means to make you accept your place.

Hannibal will try to be patient with you and he will, will tolerate stubbornness to a certain extent, as he understands that it may be due to the stress of being taken away from your old life, but if you are too stubborn and even rude, he will have to teach you good manners. Hannibal does not tolerate rude people at all.

Will is more compassionate towards you, he knows and understands that it may be difficult for you to accept this new reality, so he will try to be understanding with you and he is. Will will always be by your side and although it seems like a kind action to him, in reality it becomes overwhelming. There will be no privacy, because he wants to be close to you and he believes he is helping you by not letting go of you.

He will try to cheer you up, spoiling you and even making you escape punishments that Hannibal might try to apply to you. But he has his limits and if you don't cooperate, Will won't interfere with Hannibal's punishments.

As the days passed, you found yourself trapped in this new reality, surrounded by Hannibal and Will, each with their own motivations and methods. Hannibal, with his sharp and manipulative mind, tried to shape your perception of the world and your own identity, while Will, with his peculiar empathy, sought to comfort you amid the chaos that had become your life. It wouldn't be long before you gave in to Hannibal's manipulations, he'll be sure of that.

They like to think that they are great parents to you, better than your family ever was. Hannibal and Will love to spoil you and take care of you, the former being the one who buys you the most material things and the latter being quite clingy. Do you want something absurdly expensive and ridiculous? You got it, but only if you are a good child to them.

You will follow the Hannibal diet and there are no arguments about it. If you are vegetarian or vegan, however, he will not force you to eat meat but he will try to induce you to do so. He might cook separate portions for you, but there's disappointment evident on his face. But if you eat meat, you will try his favorite delicacy, lamb. Will isn't exactly the biggest fan of Hannibal's eating habits, but he has no problem eating and is pleased to see you eat. It makes you more close to them when you eat human flesh, you know?

They are extremely overprotective and possessive of you and will not tolerate potential love interests. Hannibal doesn't believe there is anyone good enough for you and Will hates the idea of ​​you being taken from them. Friends they can tolerate, but only if they are thoroughly analyzed by them and if they are a good influence on you.

Any injury that would be inflicted on you by someone, even if it is a chipped nail, will not be treated lightly. Joshua shows his affection through how he shelters you. He hates it when you leave the camp without him, and does everything he can to ensure you won't end up being a target for the White Legs or any other Legionary assassin that may come for him again. He's fully aware of the influence Ceasar has and would take this aspect of your relationship very seriously. You won't leave without someone else going with you. He simply won't allow it.

Blood - How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

In a normal relationship, Joshua would be more hesitant to show how violent he can get. But, in this situation, all the drive to hide who he really is goes out the window. He's willing to go as far as he needs to when it comes to you. Anyone necessary. The tribals, your companions, and even Daniel. He'd slaughter them all if it meant you'd be safe. He'd even do it in front of you.

Cruelty - How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

No. He thinks it's rude. It's not your fault that you aren't as experienced as he is. In fact, the whole reason he'd abduct you is to be able to keep a better eye on you. Making fun of you for something that was inevitably going to happen isn't something he's prone to doing.

Darling - Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

He's going to have you baptized, whether you want to or not, but besides that, he wouldn't dream of forcing you to do anything you didn't want to.

Exposed - How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

There are times when it feels as if you don't even know the man. He's quiet and incredibly closed off, even to you. He'll try to discreetly tell you about himself through bible verses or poetic words, but other than that, he's not jumping for you to learn about his past with the Legion any time soon. He wants you to love and trust him, not despise him.

Fight - How would they feel if their darling fought back?

He understands it. This world is harsh, of course, your instinct is to fight him. However, after the first week of staying with him, he hopes you’ll calm down and finally just accept that you’ll never get away from him.

Game - Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

He won’t. If you try and escape the humble home he’s managed to set up for you both in Zion, he’s going to be upset. Even with all the knowledge he’s told you about the White Legs and all those around who want to hurt you, and you still want to try your luck? He’ll be disappointed, to say the least. He expects you to have more instinct than that.

Hell - What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

He's always taken his philosophies seriously, even when he was in the Legion. So, if he ever overhears you saying something he deems to be blasphemous towards his religion, you're going to have a very hard time calming him down. He'll force you to pray out loud to the Lord and ask for forgiveness until he's satisfied. It doesn't matter to him if it takes hours, he refuses to let you be shunned to Hell for a sorry mistake such as the one you committed. What kind of husband would he be if he didn't seek to save you from God's wrath?

Ideals - What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

If he had it his way, you’d be the perfect housewife, staying home to cook and clean while he went out and did whatever. Some Legion habits never left him, and coming back to a loving spouse who’s prepared to comply with his every whim is one of them. Just the perfect nuclear family.

Jealousy - Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

He gets very quiet when he's jealous, preferring to be silent rather than blatantly lashing out at whoever is triggering these feelings. He thinks it's stupid that he gets so upset at the tribals for simply being around you. It's not like you'd leave him - not like you could - so why is he so stressed? He'll pray and go on walks to try and combat his jealousy, it's one of the only things he actively tries to work on.

Kisses - How do they act around or with their darling?

He acts as any spouse would. He kisses you on your hands or on your cheeks to greet you, rests a gentle hand on your lower back when you're near him, and does everything he can to take care of you.

Love letters - How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

As he believes any man should: with trinkets and thought-out dates. He wants to court you the right way, even if you’re aware from the start that you’ve got no other choice other than to accept his advances.

Mask - Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

On the outside it doesn’t appear as if anything has changed, however he feels different. There’s an urge now, something that tells him to kill. He’s felt it before during his peak in the Legion, but now it’s come back and he’s not sure what else to do than to quench the thirst of fear that floods him by ensuring your safety. Maybe it’s God's will that’s enforcing him to protect you.

Naughty - How would they punish their darling?

He’d shout and maybe grab your face, but he couldn’t imagine going any farther than that. If he wants to get his point across then he’ll just let you feel the raw fear that getting chased by Legionaries gives you (only once, he doesn’t want you to be actually harmed), but enough to get you to listen.

Oppression - How many rights would they take away from their darling?

He’ll take away your right to leave the tribes camp, your right to your weapons, your right to your opinions, your right of religion - there’s not much he doesn’t have control over.

Patience - How patient are they with their darling?

Joshua thinks he's patient, but he has a clear temper. He'll be kind one moment then angry the next. Although he does his best to not take it out on you, it's still terrifying to witness. Sometimes you wonder if it'd just be best to listen and avoid his fits altogether...

Quit - If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

No, he’s got it in his mind that God assigned him specifically to defend you and keep you safe, so if he ever were to fail that, he’d feel as if he were betraying the Lord's trust.

Regret - Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

How could he? You're better off this way. He's sworn to care for your every need. He'll feed you, give you access to water, cloth you, comfort you, bleed for you, house you - why should he feel guilty about doing you a favor? For loving you?

Stigma - What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

Joshua has always had this need to worship in his life. It could be seen with how devoted he was to the Legion and the will of Caesar, then with God, and now with you. There's a primal urge within him to commit himself to wherever he feels most desired, and that just happened to be you.

Tears - How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

It shatters him, especially if you're acting like this because of something he did. He'll sit beside your curled-up form and whisper Bible verses and scriptures as a way to encourage and reassure you.

Unique - Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

Vice - What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

His religion is a massive weak point, and if you can somehow convince him that it was God's will for you to go elsewhere, he may just let you go. Granted, you'd have to be really good at persuading people. He's a logical man and won't just take your word for it so easily.

Wit’s end - Would they ever hurt their darling?

Not intentionally, but sometimes he forgets his own strength when it comes to handling you. He likes to brush it under the rug though, best not to think about it.

Xoanon - How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over?

In his mind, he's already won you over. Of course, he'll still go through the process of romancing you and won't ever stop doing that, but his delusions tell him that you've already fallen for him. One thing about Joshua, however, is that he almost sees you as a second Christ. If you ask him to do something, he'll do it no questions asked. But, in the same sense, he's paranoid that you'll be crucified just like the Lord and is constantly looking out for that certain 'Judas' that will betray you.

Yearn - How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

Like a day. The second he feels different around you compared to others, he's got it in his head that you're a divine being or, at the very least, someone God wanted him to meet.

Zenith - Would they ever break their darling?

He hopes to 'break you in' to his way of life, but he hopes that it won't have to be violent or over the top in any way. He's certain you'll come around to his way of thinking soon enough, even if you need a little shove.

Okay so let’s say you meet in your local grocery shop, you’re completely minding your own business scanning the shelves for free range eggs when you accidentally bodyslam bump into Will, who was standing next to you the entire time (also mindlessly scanning the shelves for eggs). Which sends you straight onto the floor beside your trolley

Will, aside from being a little alarmed at the fact you bumped into him and fell down, is completely smitten by you. The way your facial features perfectly complimented you and matched your voice and attitude, both angelic, soft, and confident. Your gentle laugh almost had him lost in a trance as you apologised profusely, lifting yourself from the floor and explaining you were trying to find the free range eggs, then asking if he had seen any, then babbling about how you’ll only eat specific ones but you’ve always wanted to try something new and-

“Oh my gosh I’m so sorry! I’m y/n, I totally bumped into um-“

Will, on the other hand, quietly pleads with Hannibal in the middle of the now empty aisle to please please let him court you and date as a three.

Hannibal begrudgingly agrees.

So they both begin memorising when you go to the shop, and when you leave, and where you live.

You see them pop up much more often than usual, giving you a warm smile and wave before one of them approaches and tries to make an alright conversation, in an attempt to flirt, for as long as possible before you have to leave them to head back home

After a few weeks it becomes apparent you aren’t picking up on their very obvious hints at all

Like, at all.

The final straw for Will was when he noticed another man approaching you on your way back home one night, obviously with ill intentions, yet you let him, a stranger, walk beside you and talk to you

To Will, the fact someone would dare attempt to steal you from him and Hannibal angered him greatly. They had to be dealt with.

So, he waits until you’re inside your home, away from the ghastly act hes about to commit, and he swiftly snuffs the strangers life out like a match after dragging him into an alleyway

Will knows he can’t take you and cover up the murder alone, so he calls Hannibal to help him take you and hide away the murder he just committed.

Hannibal is less than pleased to hear and see what Will has just done.

Hannibal obviously would’ve preferred courting you normally, your obliviousness would’ve made it much easier to manipulate you. But, alas, thanks to Will it was now too late for that.

Taking you wasn’t easy, but keeping you in the house was. Your ditziness and obliviousness made it easy to have you believe there was no chance in escaping.

Hannibal is much more distant when you first begin living with them, cooking the meals and offering you a hand on the back every now and again so you know he supports you and wouldn’t hurt you, but ultimately keeping his distance in order not to scare you off

Will, however, is much more clingy, apologising to you for what he did and explaining how much he likes and would never hurt you, kissing your hands and telling you everything will be okay

They both let you have freedom around the house since they both believe you won’t manage to escape them.

But he'll feel so bad about it (as he should)

He knows how wrong it is, both to you and to the law but he can't help it

Being his darling isn't all that bad though, since he's taking your freedom away he wants to make everything as nice as possible for you, and all he asks for in return is that you don't try to leave and don't push him away when he's cuddling up to you

His house has always had a basement that he didn't ever use until he began renovating it to the perfect room to keep you locked up in while he's at work. We're talking a TV, books, a soft bed, a bathroom and a mini fridge for when your hungry and he's at work

Speaking of which, he gets really anxious about leaving you to go somewhere, he might even install a camera in your room if you're more defiant

He was never the best cook but learns cause he wants to be the perfect partner for you, so that you'll always be happy with him

Because his work is so intense when he's already plenty unstable he needs at least a little comforting nearly every day after work

It's hard to not feel bad for him when he looks so pathetic with that kicked puppy look

And let me tell you, every ounce of a affection you initiate is euphoric for him

Even something as simple as smiling when you see him automatically makes him wants to climb into your embrace and never leave

He unlocks the basement door and finds you laying in bed, surrounded by soft pillows and blankets as some show you've been binge watching plays in the background. You take notice of his sunken tired eyes and stiff stance as he comes over to sit next to you. He tiredly greets you and after a moment you respond by gently pulling him in to lay on you chest, knowing it's one of his favorite ways to relax. Almost immediately he wraps his arms around you and snuggles up as close as physically possible, as if trying to crawl inside you

He does his best to make sure no one finds out about you, especially not Hannibal. (Even though Hannibal would most likely help keep you a secret, might fuck around and fall for you himself idk)

He definitely would not keep you locked up for long though, as soon as he feels comfortable you won't run away he starts bringing you outside hand in hand with him. You get more and more freedom overtime, well, as free as you can be with him constantly following you like a lost puppy

You're everything to him, his world, his god/ess, the only person he can truly rely on and the one he wants to start and end every day with. Please let him, he can't live without you

Mentioned previously in Will’s yandere headcanons, he would feel extremely guilty about the obsessive feelings and dark thoughts he had of you. 

Hannibal is quit the opposite, he doesn’t see anything wrong with what he feels and doesn’t mind doing anything he can to make sure they had you. 

Therefore, Hannibal would heavily influence Will and encourage his obsession. Will’s guilty conscious would practically melt away quicker than if he wasn’t in a relationship with Hannibal already.

Telling him that it was natural and keeping the one you love locked away is simply because you want to make sure they were safe.

And there's nothing wrong with wanting your loved ones saved, correct?

With Will taking pictures of you while stalking you and Hannibal keeping notes about you, they basically make their own little (y/n) scrapbook.

They would team up when it's finally time to kidnap you and bring you to their home.

Hannibal is not afraid man-handling you if things went south. If you struggled or fought against them, he would quickly take you down.

Will still feels guilty of the bruise you had on your head. He hates having you hurt, especially when it's caused by him and his husband.

Hannibal's love languages are gift giving and quality time but that doesn't mean that he cannot be affectionate.

Even though Will is the most affectionate between the two, however, Hannibal is more subtle about it.

Lingering touches and quick forehead kisses are Hannibal's way of displaying affection.

Will would feel horrible about giving you punishments when you try slipping away.

Therefore, Hannibal would be the one in charge of disciplining you properly.

Most of them would be spankings and no, he is not gentle about it.

Will would definitely comfort you afterward while Hannibal would leave the two of you alone to make dinner.

Will would pull you close and whisper softly in your ear, stroking your hair while you sobbed into his shoulder.

Speaking of which, you will be following Hannibal's diet.

Will has gotten used to it already by this time, but he didn't want you traumatized by you seeing Hannibal cook.

Therefore, you are not allowed in the kitchen until everything is done.

Hannibal wouldn't tell you that you were consuming human flesh.

He's smart and knows that you would be more than freaked out if you found out the hard way.

However, he wouldnt deny it if you began to grow suspicious.

After being in captivity for almost a year, you have finally developed Stockholm Syndrome.

Hannibal and Will would be thrilled when you finally began returning their love.

However, Hannibal would know that it's simply because you have nobody else to be around and you were simply adapting to your situation.

He wouldn’t like it that you weren't naturally and truly in love with them but he would make do.

Will wouldn’t care.

They finally have your love and that's something he wouldn't waste.

Like the reader is easily intimidated and flustered but grows more comfortable as time goes on with them, that sort of thing! Will is more worried than Hannibal about this, he believes they may have both scared you too much and now you’re too terrified of them, and the only way to win you back is through stockholm syndrome.

Hannibal on the other hand is much more calm, he’d been watching you for a while and realised that your anxiety was mostly caused by others, he’d taken note of how overly polite you always were to strangers and how much you’d overcompensate niceness when having conversations, and your anxiousness wasn’t at all caused by he and Will.

Will is much more likely to try and make himself seem likeable. Bringing you tea without asking, buying you meaningless little gifts, and grabbing things from shelves that he sees you reaching for before you have a chance to take it for yourself.

It disheartens him a little when he sees you shrink away from him and thank him with a flustered expression, but after a while he realises this is simply shyness and not anxiety caused by them, which makes him feel heaps better.

Hannibal attempts to build your confidence by seeming more friendly and approachable when you come to him for something, giving you a warm smile when you ask him to make you some food or to get something you cannot find. Answering “Of course.” to reassure you that you can ask whatever you’d like without feeling shy about it

They’re both overjoyed when your confidence around them grows over time and you become less of a blushing mess. Giving them surprise hugs from behind (that sometimes scare the living daylights out of will when he’s deep in thought) or sitting beside them when you’re both indulged in your own things.
