if Sangwoo actually won the 33rd game instead of Gihun, I don't think that it would be in his character to go against the game creators, because unlike Gihun, he lost hope in humanity and existence long before he even decided to participate. he would have kept on living his normal life, pretending that nothing ever happened, or at least trying to, considering that he WOULD have had to kill Gihun in terms of winning.

still, if he somehow rejoined the games, and if somehow Inho yet again decided to play his role of Youngil, I can't even begin to imagine what kind of mind games they would've had going on. Since in canon Inho tried to act like Sangwoo for Gihun on purpose to manipulate him, it would make sense for him to be the opposite for Sangwoo, maybe trying to guilt trip him so he would slowly begin to lose it.

I also think that Sangwoo would see through it, through the mask of Youngil, at least a little. he's way less confiding than Gihun, more intelligent and harder to manipulate, but again, there's that trauma and a personification of the reminder of him having to kill Gihun, so that would sure throw him off. Sangwoo and Inho's dynamic had so much potential.

Becoming a Knuxadow fan truly feels like I'm eating moldy bread and sometimes I occasionally get a piece that's only stale. If I'm lucky maybe it'll be mildew instead.

Might be a hot take as a bkdk and tgck truther here, but I find izuocha endlessly fascinating, beautiful, but also tearfully tragic.

I see their love for each other as something representative of their innocence and naivety when they only knew so little about who they were, and what was to come.

I think the main barrier of their relationship is that its rooted in how they see each other very idealistically, specifically that they're attached to the image of their Best Heroic Selves, and not the deeply selfish, destructive, freaky, and egotistical parts of them. To each other, they need to keep fulfilling that image or else that same person they looked up to would almost die in front of them, and that would be too cruel. Although that hero is still there, that same person they looked up to is not the same now because of...well...everything.

Izuku had barely even talked to girls when he first met her. She was Izuku's first ever real friend (Sorry Kats, everyone and him knows he was terrible), so he saved her in that entrance exam even if it was so dangerous. She gave a new meaning to his derogatory nickname just by being a friend that believed in him. After that, she saved him several more times (Blackwhip and Megaphone are the biggest samples iirc). It makes perfect sense that she is Deku's hero.

Ochako hardly knew what it meant to be a hero when she first got into UA. Just by reaching out to some kid tripping, she made a new friend who would then save her in that exam, then save him again in return. This boy then became someone who was always working so hard to save everyone in trouble, and she realized she wanted to be just like him too. "I want to save people"

But...Deku changes. The weight of One for All is on his shoulders and he needs someone to carry this burden with him. He continues to want to save other people at the expense of himself, still not letting his true selfishness and ego ever show- and it only grows more and more unbearable.

Then...Ochako fell in love with Himiko. Truly, relentlessly, selfishly and devotedly in love with a girl who then dies giving her blood to her- the greatest expression of love Himiko could ever give.

Not that they can't love each other because of this happening (and...so many other things oh god), I'm honestly not sure how to explain it- But them ending up together after losing that innocence and naivety? After Ochako will forever grieve the girl who showed her love in its most beautiful and ugly form? After Izuku changed so fundamentally as a person that the butterflies of a nice girl talking to you doesn't exist anymore? After that simple image of being a hero and being in love has completely changed for them both?

Even so, I believe they still love each other. There is no label I know of that can properly describe them though. They are each other's image of being a hero when it comes to saving people. Aside from Shoto, no one else can grasp the grief of the person you tried to save dying in your hands. They would no doubt try to cope with these losses together, and just try to get better together...but so much has changed. They've changed. The world changed. What are they now? Who are they now?

Toothless: comparison and art study

There is something to be said for the Toothless's of the non-book HTTYD with each being different from each other. The Animated Toothless is iconic in it's design, a cat-like predator which takes only one look for the viewer to know that he is fast. The Live Action Toothless is still cat-like, and yet... too human-ish, like the eyes of HTTYD2 Hookfang. It is the unholy offspring of HTTYD3 Toothless and baby Godzilla. The Live Arena is spikier and bulkier, with a more reptilian and classical dragon appearance and yet is recognisable all the same.

Action Toothless is most bland in colours, with an incredibly unrealistic nearly pure black hue and lack of patterns. The Animated version fares better, with a faint blue hue (which is lacking in these images but real all the same) and patterns across his back and wings. Finally, the Arena Toothless. He has pink around his maw and toes, and though lacking in patterns continues the blue hue.

Interestingly, both Arena and Action Toothless lack the exaggerated scales on their ear plates, instead having a more striped texture like a horn of some sort.

Neck wise, Action Toothless is the outlier, an 'S' curve to it whereas the other two- while still having a mammalian posture- are far more reptilian in their slant. For all three, they have exaggerated scales around the spines that begin only around the shoulder area.

For faces, Animated Toothless is certainly the most complex, a flat shape that slips into a slope at the bridge of the nose and a (mind you, flexible) beak shape at the end of the nostril. His spines begin at the "front" of his eye corners and ends at the end of them (please note the third eyebrow is also error, to which I apologize greatly). Arena Toothless has a rounded flat shape, bulging out at the bridge of the nose, and having a far more exaggerated shape and yet removing the beak element to it. He has the primary row of head spikes, starting from the start of the bridge of his nose and ending at his ear-plates. His secondary row of spines, hardest to see, starts at the front of his eyes and ends at the end of his slight head indent. The third row of spines start at the beginning slant of his brows and ends at his primary ear-plates. Action Toothless also loses the slight beak, instead having the shape but with lips. He has the least flat head and the most visible brows. His spikes begin between his eyes and ends at his first ear-plates. Action Toothless is the only of the free to have more than 4 protrusions to each side of his head.

There is little to be said on head shape: Animated is somewhere between a U and a V depending on expression, vaguely snake-like; Action is a lot blunter and thicker, with more defined cheekbones and having a narrower top. The Arena is merely speculative, but likely is a oval of some kind with the same general shape.

It's fairly obvious that Action Toothless is attempting to appear less dangerous and much cuter. Such a head shape is poor for his aerodynamics, as his original head shape gave him the arrow/jet-like physics, but this lesser head shape will result only in creating more drag for the dragon who's main (if only) hunting tactic is to dive at speeds to break the sound barrier.

Posture has previously been discussed for necks, but in terms of body shape they all follow the trend of a larger chest and thinner lower body (Do not ask what happened to Animated's tail. Please.) Arena has the thickest and shortest tail, held in a dinosaur position. His wings are small, curved with fin-like secondary wings. Action Toothless has a more sloped back, and a tail consistently held low to the ground. His wings are smallest, secondary wings mimicking that of the third movie with how they are nearly folded. Animated Toothless (only from the first movie as GOTNF does use a separate model) has the longest, thinnest tail that is usually either in contact from the ground or held up. His wings and secondary wings overlap each other slightly, with the thickest connecting skin to the body.

Looking closer at the wings of the Toothlessi, it's perhaps equally surprising as not that the Animated's are the most realistic*. All the wings have connecting tissue between wing arms, creating a near flat point until fingers begin to diverge. Arena Toothless has a bulky shoulder joint, and two claws that disrupt the general shape. He has 4 wing fingers, at least 2 of which seems to be fairly straight, and a wavy texture to his webbing. Action Toothless has an oddly thin forearm, 5 wing fingers (which is most realistic as they are fingers- something that Hookfang's design tried to mimic but failed) with the primary being far, far shorter than the secondary, making his wings also appear significantly smaller than they truly are. Said wing fingers are also thick, though not pictured here. The Animated Toothless has 6 fingers, the primary being longest and surprisingly thick arms!

*Fun Fact: The Live Arena Plush has his wings and is actually capable of gliding! It is quite enjoyable.

All Toothless designs contain heavy scale coverage of both front and back legs, and spikes to the front. Interestingly, the Animated Toothless is the only one to be plantigrade rather than digitigrade, as well as appearing to have a slight webbing to his joint though this is equally as likely to be a meshing error. Both Action and Arena go for sharp claws atop paws rather than the flexible and dulled claw of the animated toothless, and thick plating to his rear legs. Both Arena and Animated appear to be stockier than the Live Action, which has lankier, thinner legs.

There is little else to be said between designs. For Hookfang, I brought my own most pressing issue, but Toothless? There is nothing to be said for his head has already been examined.

The only real difference between Animated and Arena Hiccup is their shirt, otherwise a ditto. Action Hiccup differs in that he wears two shirts (see multiple sleeves), lacks a boob window and has a hood. Oh wait, no, the fur of his boots is also a different colour. With such a variation to the designs, it would simply take too long to compare everything and so I shall end on this:

Arena Toothless leans into being a powerful dragon, Animated Toothless leans into being elegant and the Action Toothless was bred into domestication over the time of Vikings to now.

There is such a lack of difference between the Hiccups there is nothing to be said- which seemingly most of the other teens do not follow in.

Shadow sighs. He really wasn't particularly keen on sharing stories from his past, but he supposes it's time to allow himself to share more of himself with others. This could be an alright start with that. "Fine. I guess I'll tell you." Sonic gives him a small smile at that. Shadow tries not to think about the reaction he feels in his stomach seeing it, and decides to tell the story.

Before reading - I guess this is set in a little au that I'm still trying to figure out. (Because this was originally intended to be a scene in a longer fic I'm planning to write)

So for now, this is set in Shadow's room, after him and Sonic started to get to know eachother more after working out a tense rivalry.

(I apologise for any poor spelling here, English isn't my first language and I didn't put too much effort into this one)

(Also I think this can also be red as them being casual friends, too)

"Wait- Shads... is that blood?! Are you bleeding?" Sonic frantically asked, as he pointed towards Shadow's eyes, there was a red smear of... something, just above them.

"What? Oh. That's just my eyeliner. It probably smeared." Shadow shrugged, with annoyance in his voice. He hated whenever that happened.

Sonic's expression changed to a surprised one. "That's eyeliner?! Huh, I had always thought it was just like, the colour of your fur. But now that I do take a good look at it... it is a bit shiny... indeed kinda different from the red in your quills." Sonic tilted his head sideways, inspecting the red lines around his eyes.

"Hah. Well, I guess it's just not that noticeable." Shadow stated, tearing his eyes away from Sonic's blown open eyes and raised eyebrows. He tried to ignore the way he still felt his gaze on him.

"Why do you wear it, though?" Sonic tilted his head to the side.

Apparently, Shadow made a face at that question because Sonic immediately starts rapidly apologising. "No- I mean like... It's not like I think it doesn't suit you- In my honest opinion it even looks good on you- uhm..." Sonic swallowed. "And I don't mean that you're like- that it's stupid, or something. It's just-"

"It's fine, Sonic." Shadow cuts off his rapid rambling. Sonic shuts his mouth and looks attentively at him, as if waiting for Shadow to continue.

"Whenever Maria got ready for school, or special events, or anything, really. I would always accompany her in anything she did. Through almost all the steps of her routine, I would be by her side, just... watching. We didn't necessarily have to talk or anything, I would just be there, be present. It was comforting." Shadow brings his gaze up from where they previously rested on his shoes, to meet Sonic's eyes. He sees that Sonic has a unique expression on his face, like he's actually interested in what he's telling him.

Shadow then remembers he still needed to continue. "But anyways- that's besides the point." He brings his gaze elsewhere. "She would usually do her makeup at the bathroom sink. She usually didn't do much... she often just did something basic, for things such as school. But for parties or special events, she would use some extra products. I would always just watch attentively at whatever she was applying to her face. The first time I saw her do a more... complicated look, I was a bit confused when she started tracing her eyeline with some red pencil. It seemed she noticed my puzzled face and chuckled at it. She then asked me if I wanted to try some. And because I liked being included, I agreed to it... It felt funny feeling the rather cold liquid of the eyeliner seeping through my fur. After she was done, I looked in the mirror and inspected the finished product. It wasn't bad... I quite liked the look of it, actually."

Shadow looked around the room, not daring to make eye contact with Sonic, for some reason.

"As I was inspecting the newly drawn lines around my eyes, she giggled and said that it suited me. So, whenever she would do her eyeliner, she would also put it on me. After every time, I would look in the mirror and notice she improved her skills with it again, the lines being done more neatly each time. She eventually even taught me how to do it myself. I didn't wear it often back then, when she was still..." Shadow trailed off, not wanting to say the thing he hated most, the thing that brought him the most pain.

In his peripheral vision, he saw Sonic nod and turn his head a tad to the side in understanding. Shadow swallowed and looked up at him again. "And well, after I lost her, I found some red eyeliner in a drug store and took it with me. I still remembered how to apply it. When I first saw myself with that same eyeliner again, it brought me back to all the times I sat on that cold kitchen sink with her." He let out a soft chuckle to himself. "Well... I haven't stopped wearing it since, as you can tell."

"Hm. She's right, it does look neat on you. Even if it didn't look as profesional back then." Sonic quirked a smile.

"Right, thanks." Shadow replied dryly.

My Interpretation of the Subscriber Specials regarding the Tpot/Bfb timeline as of Tpot 17

(theories + rambling + a million questions i would like people to yap about cus i cant be the only one wondering whats going on)

Theres reason to believe that subscriber specials could be prequels (the first ones being before 4 and x left for bfb and so on)

We see that 6 is the last remaining being in the playground (this info can still be unreliable since 6 is in hiding(?) and seems to be running away from an active threat

Theres reason to believe that this threat is 2763 from the latest subscriber special except it doesnt make sense-

1) 6 was taken by 2763 that episode

2) 2 was also taken and yet theyre out and about- if 2763 was still a threat i doubt 2 would leave their homies with 2763 (also 2 left to host a show not to save themself)

3) The zero with the cap and i believe the other zeroes were left alone by 2763, where are they now?

This seems more like a timeline issue rather than 2763 not fitting the bill as a threat-

I propose that the debut of 2763 happened way before tpot during bfb, before 2 left to crash and host- this could explain why 4 and x arent there🤷‍♀️

I believe that the aftermath of 2763s attack also happened before 2 left as well given that 2s reasons for leaving felt more personal rather than for survival

Although 2763 could still very well be what caused whatever happened to the playground, I am not sure if 2763 is the problem or if there even is an active threat in the first place-

With the knowledge given in the tape- 6 wouldn’t have been hiding in a tree (given that it advised them to go underground instead of high places) and the zeroes would probably still be there, not only that the red sky is gone and 2763 only wanted to keep them in jail so where are they now? And why does 6 stay?

What caused the others to leave might have been something else.

(maybe idk i feel kinda redundant lmao)

I also have reason to believe that the others leaving and their reason for leaving might have happened AFTER 2 left to create tpot (because if there was a threat 2 knew of, i doubt they wouldnt leave their homies behind unless it was the others that made them decide to leave in the first place)

Onto Present Canon!! Whew boy Im sure im not the only one who noticed the state of 1s dimension- 2 episodes ago when the possible end of the universe was happening she was calm, calculating, confident perhaps too confident

I can agree with others that confidence and ego is what caused her to be careless of donut and the portal, although they caught him anyway- Im surprised she went straight to outright yelling, emotional manipulation and idk pulling his limbs instead of trapping him there instead until he signed the deal in the first place (in hindsight she could have been rushing for the sake of whatever shes waiting for happening soon)

I wonder too what 1s goal is (please yap id like to yap back)- its clear it isnt just 2s power on the table considering that the whole destroying the universe and bringing objects to the playground feels like a bit too much effort (wouldnt she want the competition to go faster otherwise?)

1 seems really powerful and is technically free from the moon and able to go wherever they want to so why go through all that effort to screw with the timeline and putting cracks in the universe- surely there was another way to get gaty to sign I suppose :/

Also why does she need them to go in 4s mind? Why is 6 trying to contact 4? Do 4, 2 and x also know the state of the playground? (I saw some theories that 1 could be trying to contact 3 so I wanna know what yall think)

I also wonder if the door the previous tpot contestants were trying to open was 2s gateway to the playground but because it doesnt exist in the playground world (otherwise 6 would have seen it) it cannot open from the inside (it could also be 1s interference) unlike 4s door that exists in both worlds hence its openable-

Also how would they escape 2?

Not only that does 2 know about 1s involvement or is she interfering to make sure they dont know (i think its pretty obvious 4 and x have no clue🤷‍♀️)
