And speaking of Vaati and The Minish Cap...I realize I never shared this ATC I painted. Poor sweet Vaati deserves so much more love. As does this beautiful game. (Look below the cut to find two photos of my painting).

Hai I'm still creative and not just reposting stuff. lol I'm just a bit tired of tumblr (i.e. of my art and especially OC posts reaching barely anyone). But hey, maybe you people care to see my Dragon Age project I'm working on? After all that fandom is why many people on here followed me originally, right? :) Anyhow, it's going to be a huevember-ish project, where each painting will have a main color as a theme. The characters (and their colors) from left to right, starting from the top: Teagan (Yellow), Wynne (Green), Leliana (Blue), Jowan (Violet), Sten (Red) and Alistair (Orange).

This is my attempt at a more or less realistic interpretation of the new Pokémon Bombirdier, first seen in the recent games (Violet and Scarlet). Quite the mischievous-looking fella, isn’t it? 🤭 As per usual you can find a close-up photo and some WIP pictures if you look below. :3

"It's just the rain." - a watercolor ATC from 2021. Prince Sidon is a character I always wanted to paint (especially since Ocarina of Time woke my love for the Zora people, even inspiring me to create a Zora OC), but I hesitated to do so for a long time, simply because I didn't know how to depict him in my semi-realistic style. I couldn't be happier with the final result tho. One day I want to paint Mipha properly, too. ♥

Oops, I went silent again - I blame it on Tears of the Kingdom, tho. XD Ever since the game released I've been spending FAR too many hours in Hyrule each day. I'm honestly having a lot of fun - HOWEVER! I do miss some things: this armor, for example. There's just something weird about walking around Gerudo Town in Link's usual attire, especially when no one bats an eye. I painted this pretty vai in April 2021, but I still adore the artwork a lot >U< (And I have more Zelda fanarts in the making. ♥) Keep reading to find a close-up photo of the watercolor painting. :3

I noticed that I never posted my third Ori fanart here, so there you go. ♥ Cute little Ku, during the hearbreaking scene early at the beginning of “The Will of the Wisps”, where the little one stares at the birds taking wing, yearning to fly as well. If you've seen my Kuro artwork, you may notice that I used similar colors to said painting, to create a connection between them. You can find a close-up photo and some work in progress pictures of my painting process if you keep reading. :)

Speaking of villains... I mentioned, that "The Minish Cap" is my favorite LoZ game and as it so happens, Vaati is also my favorite villain of the franchise (Astor is a close second btw, oh if only they had given him more of a backstory, but I digress). This limited color drawing (see below to find the colors I used) is old, from 2019, to be precise, one that I love quite a bit. And I still stand by what I wrote back then: "I depicted Vaati framed by his more 'monstrous' form, to show that even within such a creature, there's still just a little Picori boy, who wanted nothing more than to impress and surpass his master. He might not be as menacing as other villains, but he is adorable, kind of innocent – and relatable, too. I mean really, who wouldn't be tempted to try on a hat that grants your every desire and makes your life easier, by turning you into a powerful sorcerer if it's within your grasp?"

Another - you guessed it - limited color challenge, but this time of Rapunzel. ♥ It's incredible what you can do with three random markers, isn't it? But the colors really suited her and I loved how they created that perfect, golden hue for her hair. *_* (As always, keep reading below to see the pens I used, as well as a close-up photo).

A tiny fanart of Adaman from Pokémon Legends: Arceus I painted last year. >U< Keep reading below to see a close-up and some WIP photos of my painting process. Here's a little known fact about me: I used to be a huge Pokémon fan, after all I grew up playing Pokémon Blue on my Gameboy, but I quit some time around Leaf Green tho and hadn't played since. But playing Arceus changed that and reignited my love for the franchise. Soon I'm also going to paint some Pokémon Scarlet&Violet ATCs, so stay tuned. ♥

What, more (old) Zelda-art? Yes. Do I have something else to post? Also yes. But what can I say? I'm really in a LoZ mood recently, so you can expect to see more fanarts from me. I loved painting Link in his Ordonian outfit. ♥ And although this painting is back from 2018, I'm still very fond of it (and the peaceful mood, in particular).

Six Fanarts - Part 3: Astor What better time is there to reveal the next part of my Six Fanarts than now, after the incredible trailer for “Tears of the Kingdom” has been revealed recently (have you seen it? And are you as excited as I am??). “Age of Calamity” may not have been as heavily anticipated by most, but it sure left a big impression on me – and some disappointment, too. :’D Because there they went and introduced Astor, another potentially fascinating villain…And then he wasn’t even playable and there was so very little explanation regarding his backstory or motivations. ;_; I feel like poor Astor got the Vaati-treatment (who by the way, still happens to be my number one favorite LoZ villain, but sadly he wasn’t playable in the previous Hyrule warriors game, either. A crime!!), but I still like his design and voice acting a lot, sooo…I gave him the third spot in this drawing challenge. I hope he has some fans who can appreciate this. ♥ And just so you know: YES, there will be more Zelda fanart from me in the future. XD Keep reading to see some WIP pictures and the template with the previous characters.

Another, older LoZ Fanart I painted a few years ago. Something tells me that I'm gonna paint lots more this year (but I also still have more to re-upload here.) ♥ I still adore the background and the light in this one. >U<

I've been playing lots of Breath of the Wild again these past few days, since I finally got the DLCs. After beating the nerve-wracking spike-laden temple, "The Champion's Ballad" is going to lead me back to the Gerudo desert. And since I never uploaded my painting of everyone's favorite desert queen here, I'm doing it now. ^_^ ♥ Keep reading to find a close up and some WIP pictures.

I know everyone is hyped for BotW2: Tears of the Kingdom, especially after tonight's Nintendo Direct (and I am too! >U> Very much so!), but you know what caught me off guard? That they also announced a sequel to Fantasy Life. o_o I have so, so many fond memories of the first game, spending hours upon hours playing on my 3DS, mostly on my own, but sometimes also together with my brother. I loved the cute graphics and the characters (especially Pino, Daemon/Damien and Oden/Odin) and ahhhh! The announcement of a true sequel gave me so many feels. I immediately had to go and look through my files to find the old (and by old I mean positively ancient) fanarts I painted, back in the day.

Six Fanarts - Part 2: Askeladd I just HAD to include a Vinland Saga fanart, I’ve re-watched the first season of the anime so many times and re-read the Manga just as often. But no other character manages to fascinate me as much as Askeladd. To quote what I said, back when I first painted this: he's such a wonderfully complex character. *_* There are times where he does some very awful things, but he also shows genuine kindness – and don’t get me started on his interesting backstory! He wasn’t easy to paint, but I had a lot of fun – and yeah, I did go overboard with the light effects, but he deserved an epic portrait. ♥ And just like I wrote on part one: keep reading to see some WIP pictures and the template with the previous character.
