NEW STEREOPHONIC SOUND SPECTACULAR: Pizzicato Five, Babyyyyy!

I am actually so excited to talk about P5! By far the most influential shibuya-kei band!!!

In 1979, Yasuharu Konishi and Keitarō Takanami formed our love and pride, Pizzicato Five

HOWEVER...

It wasn't until the late 80s that the iconic duo formed: Yasuharu Konishi and, the QUEEN of shibuya-kei, Maki Nomiya!!!!!

They are the most influential shibuya-kei which gained INTERNATIONAL FAME!!!

You might know Maki Nomiya from We Love Katamari! She sings Baby Universe!

Or perhaps, you might know them from Futurama! Ever heard of Baby Love Child?

Other big things include: Readymade Records! Pizzicato Five's very own record label, which includes Fantastic Plastic Machine (FPM), another well known shibuya-kei musician!

Conclusion...

if you want to get into shibuya-kei but you dont know where to start or you just want to try the genre out, I suggest you try Pizzicato Five!! Their stuff is ELITE!!!!!!

OH MY GOSH I can't pick!!! my favourite song at the moment (only because ive been listening to Sweet Pizzicato Five (1992) alot lately...) MIGHT be Tout Va Bien!!! or maybe Voyage à Tokyo BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST DOES THAT SOUNG MAKE ME HAPPY!!!
