"Does Law know how to cook...?" (Y/n) asked Bepo

"Er... Uhm..." Bepo muttered lowly, feeling a dark gaze behind him

"Yes I can, obviously." Law rolled his eyes once he entered the kitchen and gave (y/n) a kiss on the cheek, "just so you know, I can."

"Oh yeah?" (Y/n) smiled softly, "cook with me then."

Law could feel a shiver up his spine.

Bepo shivered and slowly backed out of the kitchen to warn everyone of the possible impending doom.

"Alright then." Law huffed as a faint blush Invades his cheeks.

She smiled and hands him an apron.

"We're cooking simple onigiri." She smiled as she cooked the rice first

"Sounds simple enough"

"Alright..." She rolled her eyes, "also... Let's make some soup."

Law shrugs.

She smiled darkly, "I'll do the onigiri you do the soup"

"What?!"

"What? You said you can cook." She shrugged

Law frowns that says "you know I can't. Dummy."

She just laughed, "alright. I'll help ya."

(Y/n) helped him not to murder the vegetables by handing him a peeler instead of a knife, she cuts them instead of him cause he'll take too long cutting them perfectly cubed.

And now he's waiting for the water to boil entirely as she checked on the rice

"The rice is done, wash your hands and put a little salt on them for the onigiri." She instructed as she placed the rice into a bowl to partially cool down, just enough to be held.

"I'm not really good at this molding part..." He muttered

"Don't worry, I can help you."

Law, he kind of complained at how hot the rice is, pressed it together so fiercely they stick to his hand, "aw..."

She chuckled, "gently... Like this..." She guides him through every step and process.

Though the end result was rather... Questionable.

While hers were "normal" his were... "Is that edible?".

He sighed, staring at the stark contrast of the two.

"Look at that...! It looks just like Bepo!" She smiled at the oddly shaped onigiri.

"You think so?"

"Hmm... It's missing something, just a sec." She smiled as she cut up some small dots and shapes out of a sheet of seaweed wrap.

She then designed his onigiri with "eyes" and a cute little "boop" nose.

"There...! Looks exactly like him now."

He sighed as he smiled, now it really does. "It... Thank you..."

She just smiled and nodded at him, "you are really... You can cook, just a bit... You know, forceful."

He laughed

"Hmm..." Shachi mumbled, "it looks... Nice...?"

Jane Eyre - Part II

DKZJFBDGHSJAKSJD THIS IS THE WORST MARRIAGE PROPOSAL IN LITERARY HISTORY

*clears throat*

A few days ago I wrote this post about my first thoughts on Jane Eyre. Since people wanted to see my reactions to further events, here I am.

I gotta say: you were all holding out on me, because not only does Jane Eyre have a man more ridiculous than Darcy (by a CLEAR mile), but it also has a clergyman more insufferable than Edmund Bertram, which??? should not be possible???

Okay, so:

I was hoping Rochester would give up on the wedding and confess to Jane about his wife in the attic, but nope! And he would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling solicitor & brother-in-law. Like. This man is so idiotic, and felt so unbelievably sorry for himself, that he said with his full chest "yeah, bigamy is the solution! :D".

...Very uncomfortable how the narrative attributed the lowest possible vices to Bertha Rochester, while calling her "the creole". The vices weren't outright attributed to her being of mixed ancestry, but it felt like that was what was meant. All very uncomfortable. As uncomfortable as when the landed gentry wanted to visit a Romani encampment to see the Romani people (while, ofc, using the g-slur) as if they were animals in a circus? Hmmm, yeah, tough call!

(Look. I'm not gonna go around publicly denouncing books from past centuries for not being politically correct, bc that is an idiotic way to relate to literature from the past. Society was what it was, and not even the authors we admire so much were above that most of the time. But I can, and will!, look at certain things and go "wow, this aged like fucking milk". I think that's fair.)

AND THEN

Rochester, who can't possibly be thinking straight, proposes that Jane become his mistress!!!! Edward Fairfax Rochester, have you ever even MET Jane Eyre?? Do you know her but at all????

And he's like "me, me, me, what's to become of me, am I to be denied love, doesn't the world feel sorry for ME" and I nearly spit on my kindle, I was so mad XD How is this man, pushing fucking FORTY, putting on this preposterous show and leaving this 18-year-old girl to comfort him?????

(To bring up the sad sack that is Edmund Bertram again: it reminded me when Edmund wrote to Fanny: Maria has brought ruin to their name, Tom has nearly died, everyone is in distress, and he's like "But Fanny. Think of ME!!!" ugh)

But yes, honestly, Rochester's not evil, but he's so. goddamn. stupid. And draMATIC. I love him, he's a riot.

...I do not love how he kept blaming others for him marrying Bertha. Like. Sir. You were an adult and you married her of your own volition. "My father" this, and "her family didn't tell me" that, but YOU looked at her, thought she was gorgeous, and agreed to marry her. So fuck you. Hold yourself accountable, for a change. You man child.

So yeah, Jane runs away, which is totally the right decision, and without any money, which is totally the wrong decision, and ends up eating burned porridge again, and I'm like. If I had a nickel for every time Jane Eyre had to eat burned porridge while starving, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Jane is then saved by the Rivers siblings: Mary and Diana Rivers, who are absolutely precious, and St. John Rivers, who is absolutely

Me, every time St. John appeared on the page:

Hey. Charlotte? Charlotte. Was this a ploy? Did you bring St. John into the story to have us like Rochester more? Is St. John your way of going "Yeah, I know, Rochester is deranged, and what he wanted to do was morally and legally and spiritually wrong, but look at how boring righteous people can be!"? Was it? If so, it FUCKING WORKED, BRING EDWARD ROCHESTER BACK RIGHT NOW.

Also??? aekjsdzcbvsdjfsk I can't: St. John: "I found you employment." Jane: "Really? Which is it?" St. John: rambles on about the will of God or something, for entire paragraphs. That's the point.

St. John really is Brocklehurst again, I love it: both love to talk about how Christian they are, and how it's important to lead a life of humility, etc -- the difference being, ofc, that St. John is not a hypocrite, fat capitalist pig, he's actually leading by (insufferable) example. And they both make Jane feel bad about her true self, just in opposite ways.

And St. John wants to be a missionary, because of course this insufferable man wants to be a missionary and impose his views on nice people who are just living their fucking lives. And he goes on and on about... idk, bringing light to the unenlightened and saving pagans or whatever, and it's SO pedantic, and it's SO patronizing, and it's SO... UGH.

I cannot believe Jane gave this man a quarter of her entire fortune.

AND THEN

HE MAKES THE WORST MARRIAGE PROPOSAL IN THE ENTIRE ENGLISH LITERATURE

No, I have not read the entirety of English literature, but oh boy am I fully confident in my statement. This is the WORST. Like. Mr. Collins' proposal is a shining beacon of unbridled love and romance next to THIS.

Me, reading his proposal:

"Jane, you weren't made for love, you were made for labour. You were made to be a missionary's wife" QEIARKSHV\CZNB;SAEKFJSDVC I'M GONNA GOUGE MY EYES OUT WITH A SPOON

At least Jane, too, was full aware of the insult XD Love that when she told Diana of the proposal, she repeated those exact words, and Diana was like "Girl, what??? Nu-uh!!!".

But it's all great. She refuses him, and he gets all prickly and assholish about it in the most holier-than-thou way possible, I hate him, but then she hears Rochester's voice in the wind crying out for her, and she hurries back to Thornfield. Sure, we've all been there.

Then we find out karma does exist and is the proverbial bitch: Rochester lost an eye, all of his eyesight, a hand, and his manor. Wow.

And then???? They have the CUTEST reunion ever???? And I was so happy for him???? For them??? Charlotte 😭😭😭👌👌👌

Rochester being all jealous of St. John, and I'm like "no, you're safe, he's the worst, he told Jane she wasn't made for love".

He also holds himself accountable at long last (hard not to, after all that), and he thought Jane was deeeeeeaaaad, and he was inconsolable and I'm a MESS

So all is good in the end: they marry -- LEGALLY! :D -- and have a child, and he recovers his eyesight on the eye he still has, and the Rivers siblings marry and are happy, and the book ends... with a letter from St. John saying he's dying??? WHAT

I love all of it. Specially St. John dying. A few stray observations:

The foreshadowing of future events is very well-planted, nicely done, Charlotte. That horse chestnut tree being split in half by lightning after Rochester proposes marriage to Jane? 👌👌👌👌👌 If I ever saw an omen!

And Jane. So smart, so good, so compassionate, so horny on main, so witty, so brave. May God keep St. John Rivers far away from her forever and ever.

LOVE how Jane begins with an aunt (who knows her and hates her) and 3 cousins (a John who torments her trying to diminish her, and two sisters who don't care if she's alive or not) and ends up having an uncle (who doesn't know her but loves her) and 3 cousins (a John who torments her trying to "elevate" her and two sisters who love her and save her life). The story is obviously very cyclical, and I enjoyed that a lot.

Don't know if I love or hate the fact that Charlotte slapped a "St." in front of the name of the John who wants to be a missionary and is the opposite of the first John XD (Yes, I know St. John is a real name, I've seen it many times before, but it's a bit on the nose here!)

...I wonder if Miss Ingram ever found out that Rochester wanted to marry the governess. I would've paid Charlotte Brontë good money to write THAT scene.

And last but not least: Pilot is the goodest boy in the whole wide world.

I don't know what the trip would be for. Maybe he's taking you on a mission, much to the possible dismay of the other two, or you guys are taking a trip somewhere

He's not too used to people in being in his car who aren't cab clients or someone who's end is near so yeah

He doesn't let you touch his radio, just try and stomach it okay

Jake seems like the only snacks he brings for a road trip is beef jerky and nuts so if you don't like those you have to bring your own snacks

He's quiet in the beginning because he's used to having to be quiet (since no one likes talking to the cab driver). But starts talking at some point

You can do most of the talking for him though. He actually likes listening to you talk <3

Jake knows how to drive but that doesn't mean he obeys all the laws

If you guys are on an open road and you can't get caught, he's fucking flooring it for the sake of it

Honestly, if you want and there's a big enough and secluded enough spot he'll teach you how to drift and do maneuvers

You guys visit tourist stops sometimes if they sound weird enough. Like the worlds largest pistachio or something

This all doesn't sound that chaotic and thats because he's sort of holding back. He doesn't want to do anything too dumb that could get you hurt. But if he finds that you can handle it then he'll let loose and be more risky

With our conversation in the comments, I figured it might be best to put this one in ask form XD so here goes;

Your latest comment really got me thinking. I actually hadn't considered this before! And it just clicked.

And it makes sense, too. Since toon physics can still overwhelm human physics despite them coming into our world. And we see how toon logic can still be used either against them or for them, usually resulting in what would be a punchline in a cartoon, but wouldn't work at all among humans.

From what we see in toontown, they look to be being of chaos (I know that sounds ridiculous. This is the best phrase I could think of 😅). They thrive in it, they work with it, all of it. And chaos can just- do whatever it wants. And since we plainly see toons being able to do whatever they want (to an extent. Like the weasels couldn't just stop laughing when they felt like it), it'd make sense if they had some kind of way to control their little reality to benefit them in some way. Usually for comedy like you said, but they can easily use this in romance or other aspects of life, too. (I'm genuinely so excited! This never occurred to me, and after you said it just makes so much more sense now. So many opportunities are unlocked with this!)

I'll be honest, my headcannon was that toons had some type of magic in them. Yeah, I know that's kind of cheating, allowing me to say that anything they do is a result of magic, and it would ask how they got it (like did a human create them with magic? Or are they just magical beings that showed up a long time ago?). I wasn't really happy with it, but it was the best I could think of for a while. But I like this more ^^

Tldr; I think you just unlocked the great mystery to how toons in WFRR work. They can just bend reality however they need in some way that best suits them. Maybe that's how Doom was able to kill Teddy despite supposedly dropping a toon piano on him; he just willed it to be deadly and nit a gag.

I’m glad the idea tracks! Tbh I think the HC that toons have magic or are magic makes sense too. One could argue that creating entertainment (stories, movies, tv, music, etc.) is the human way of creating magic when in reality it doesn’t quite exist. And it’s practically outright stated that toons exist to entertain (human) people. Therefore, toons embody magic itself.

Although this probably makes sense only if humans came first, but the possibility that somehow toons existed before humans really intrigues me!

Also, Doom’s existence is kind of blowing my mind now with that possibility of Doom willing the piano to kill Teddy. If that was the case then that means Doom figured out how to circumvent the restrictions of his own existence. If he was created to be a cartoon villain, then he should only be able to harm other toons but murdering a human goes against that entirely. Despite that, Doom still exists. He’s bent the laws of toon nature as well human nature to his will. And in a very weird way, he’s a prime example as to why toons should have equal rights with humans in the WFRR world bc his actions have a lasting impact on both humans and toons that goes beyond simply making people laugh.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'm not okay

I LOVED THIS EPISODE SO MUCH!!! OH MY GOSH. This is the anti feeling to last night when I watched tgd and the end killed me for an entirely different reason THE GAYS ARE WINNNINGGGGGG!!!! I'm not okay. Anyway IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Genuinely though all the plots throughout were really good and there were a TON of good moments. Plus the crossover with The Bachelor was GREAT lol. I need to go back and watch those first two minutes but I will update the post slfjdfhs. Now, I'm going to make a quick celebration post and maybe rewatch that clip if possible, and then I'll be back because I can't possibly put off this review xD. Oh my gosh I'm having so many thoughts.

OKAY AAHHH HI ME FROM THE NEXT DAY I was literally freaking out so much (and still am) that I couldn't do it and I kept procrastinating and then I fell asleep lol xD. I have continued to procrastinate (and I had things to do) but!! Here I am :)).

First though, I'm going to go back to the promo bit and add the second half because apparently I completely forgot about it, and I have since watched it a couple of times xD.

Okay!! Now, let's talk about some other bits of the episode xdd.

The Bachelor crossover was so fun!!! I've never seen The Bachelor lol but it was a great story, great call xD. And everyone freaking out SLFKGHDKS!! Maddie and Josh fighting over the call to Chimney giving them spoilers to Eddie siccing the girls on Buck to Bobby and Hen going 👁️👄👁️. And that poor girl xdd. Also the "Do I have to?" "I wouldn't" just killed me xDD. Glad she's okay though :)). Sucks she'll never have her chance lol. But hey, she got to talk to him :)!! Wild xD. Anyway, I think was a super fun thing to throw in there for the 100th episode :DD. It's also interesting to see a reality show crossover with a fiction show xD. Had a fun time with it!!

Maddie and Chim!! They were so funny at the beginning xD. Her sending the 118 was wild lol. Also I loved her face to him later when he was talking about how cool Tommy was right after Buck was complaining about him (😏😏) xDD. They're idiots your honor lol <33. Anyway, Chimney slayed on the calls today 🥰. Especially figuring out the head trauma for that poor woman! Nice job my guy :)). Also, I didn't notice it until I saw subtitles later but "I'm your basketball beard" AUGHWUOGIH!!!! XDD SLFJDGLKDS HE'S SO WILD FOR THAT O.O. Anyway he did genuinely slay, loved him supporting Buck lol :)). I'm sure there was some brother in law bonding in there xD. Maddie slayed on calls too!! I really loved her conversations with Buck though :D :)). The brunch one was sweet and kind of silly, plus the "Is it circled with a heart?" line was SO GOOD LOL SLFJDHS XDD. Idiot <33 (Buck more than anything but it's all affectionate I promise). Also I really loved Maddie's reaction to Buck talking about maybe accidentally purposefully injuring Eddie. It completely makes sense for her character and I'm really glad it was in there, it added some great depth <33. Though the storyline itself has depth!! Especially after the ending lol. Anyway, poor Maddie with her story about the Sarah's :(( xd. That sucks :'(. I do kind of know how it is (not quiiite as close) and it really can be awful xd. Dyeing your hair is a wild step xD. Plus SLFKGJDS "I would've changed both names" oh my gosh XDDD 💀. Also nice on her for calling Buck out for acting like a teenage girl lol. Anyway, love her, and Chimney <33.

Hen and Ravi!! We didn't see much of either of them this episode but they were great :DD. Poor Ravi xD. Bro had no clue what was going on with anything ever lol. He didn't even know who Tommy was! After all the drama he caused!! Poor guy's out of the loop (well for the drama he would cause, is what I meant) lol. They both slayed this episode though :DD!! Hen was great on the house invasion call and the Bachelor call :)). Love them <333.

Bobby, Athena, and Harry!! AYYY Harry :DD!! Welcome back man 🥰. Seeing him greet Athena and Bobby was so nice :'D. It's nice to have him back :')). Sucks to have a change in actors (Marcanthonee will be missed!!) but I'm sure he's gonna be great :)). Elijah, I believe his name is? Welcome aboard dude :DD! Anyway, his return isn't under the best of circumstances o.o. Love Bobby knowing, or being suspicious yk, and called Michael (they are my besties your honor 🥰🥰, I love them <33). Anyway, seeing his reaction to the video hurt so much :((( 😭😭😭💔. It really is awful to see yourself angry. I only tend it see it in writing and it still sucks and is hard xdd. But HALLELUJAH YAYY he's not being charged, at least with prison time that is :')). And he's sticking around :DD!! I'm sure it'll be difficult with Athena monitoring his community service and such but I think it'll be really fun storyline wise :)). Well time to talk about the rest of it besides that one part of the ending lol.

Buck and Eddie, and Tommy!! BROOK this was so wild o.o xD. The jealousy was painful 😭, but I also kinda loved it, it was hilarious xD. It really sucks that Buck was feeling left out, and I do think they were kind of leaving him out, but I don't think it was at all intentional. Eddie invited him to basketball several times, and the other things were things he and Tommy already had plans for. He even seemed excited when he thought Buck was going to come to the fight with them (which that bit HURT by the way lol 💀)!! He did seem kinda shady asking Buck to watch Chris but I'm sure it was an accident xDD. He's just an idiot your honor lol <33. I do wish he was a little more obvious about not blaming Buck when he got injured, but like, he was in a whole lot of pain with a possibly broken ankle xD. It's understandable lol and I don't blame him. I also don't think Tommy was trying to exclude Buck! H was happy to see Buck throughout the episode, he gave him a tour, planned to give him flying lessons!! It was just a really unfortunate situation and Buck wasn't communicating (as he admitted at the end lol). Poor Buck though through all of it 😭😭💔🥺. I know it was kind of on him for not communicating but it just sucks being left out :((, I totally get it. You don't wanna say anything and be told you're overreacting or for people to think it's weird, and you don't wanna be possessive or anything, but it sucks and you miss them :((. I know how it feels xD xd. Still, I'm really glad he was getting aware of it, and he listened to the help from Maddie lol <3.

I think the conversation at the end was a really good way of wrapping it all up. Seeing everyone's side (Eddie's opinion given by Tommy but honestly he wasn't really as involved in the problem lol), and having everyone apologize. Also then them hyping each other up :')). I do find it interesting to see and outside perspective to the 118! We're so used to the family that is the 118 and the 126 that we don't really think about the fact that it's probably not like that for most people xdd. It wasn't even really like that when Tommy was there. And it makes sense for him to be jealous over it!! It's completely understandable and a really cool perspective to see :)). Although I will agree with Buck lol, he's pretty cool on his own lol.

Now, seeing as I was freaking out and forgot half the previous lines, I'm going to say what I thought/my reactions to a few specific lines and everything as it started to ramp up xD.

By the way, I have watched this scene (or at least parts of it) like. 20 times now. And some of it I'm still trying to remember as I freak out once again right now lol xD. So keep that in mind lol.

When they were talking about the mouths static was hilarious xD. In all fairness, it wasn't great lol.

And then the Muay Thai (I think that's how it's spelled?), the after flying lessons bit and "Not in the same day"??? AAAAHHHHHHHHH!! That's where I started to really get stressed and suspicious and in shock xDD. I was like um. what was that. XD.

And then. Buck admitting he was trying to get TOMMY'S attention o.o. I genuinely wasn't expecting it but looking back on the episode it all makes sense yk o.o. Honestly I don't think even Buck really realized that was it until during that conversation, especially given his tone shift. And the Tommy's face afterward 😭. Bro is surprised xD. And I'm going to be completely honest, I thought Buck was saying "I didn't mean my best friend" there and not "I did maim best friend" until like the tenth time I watched it o.o xDD. The first one was wild, a self denial of Buddie because he's oblivious xDD. The second one makes more sense but is equally as wild o.o lol. He's realizing that just before he says it xD. And maim is dramatic but he did injure Eddie 😬🥺. Anyway, the next bit.

Now here's someone I'll say that I've been thinking of about the whole thing. Buck's tone changed, his vibe changed, something in his eyes changed, during that scene. Around the flying lessons bit xD. You can tell. I think he felt it, he just wasn't exactly sure what it was. And whatever he thought it was was probably terrifying (assuming he guessed correctly or knew lol). I think, if Tommy hadn't done something, he would've just let it go, let the moment pass. And, especially if he's done the same thing before, I think he would've pushed it away enough that he stopped thinking about it. I don't know if he has ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯. But it makes me think of a Buck who had Moments, who Wondered, and then dismissed them immediately because there was no way, he Couldn't. Or it was something he couldn't quite place. So he left it alone and forgot about it.

Idk. All I know is I don't think he would've made a move if Tommy hadn't lol, even if he was feeling the vibes xD.

Anyway, I've been genuinely so ill over all of this for literal days now. It's just past midnight on Friday for me lol. I'm just going so insane over it.

Today a question of the day in one of my classes was "What's a moment from tv/movies/musicals that impacted you?", you know something wild or epic or emotional or whatever, that impacted you. And, though it's far from the first time it's happened to me, I said this. Buck realizing he was bisexual. I don't think some people realize (though surely most of us on Tumblr do): This is a masculine, main character (honestly the main character) on an extremely popular mainstream television show, that after 7 seasons realized he was bisexual, and he's not a trope. It is profoundly impactful. Still definitely give credit where it's due to shows that have been doing it since the beginning (Lone Star, for example), but this is huge. They finally CAN do it. And I'm so happy for them, and proud of Buck :')).

Also quick note I just love how much Oliver is committed to and knows his character. The fact that he withdrew media wise because he agreed with us?? Wild. But he genuinely loves Buck so much, probably more than any of us, and he fights so hard to do him right <33. I'm so proud of, but more importantly, happy for him :')). He's been waiting so long for this and he totally deserves it, he absolutely slayed it <33. His acting was AMAZING, as always. I mean it's always great but this was just top both xD :'D. Anyway, thank you Oliver <3.

And thank you to everyone else on the show who worked to make this happen!!! And everyone in the fandom who fought for this!

I still genuinely can't believe it xd. It's just- amazing <3.

Also, quick think on Buddie: I do still want Buddie long-term. But I think Buck and Tommy could be cute, and no matter what I'm just excited to see where it goes for now :)). I actually kind of think it's better that Buck doesn't date Eddie first, for him and for us (a likelihood of them staying together). He needs to discover/explore/understand this new part of himself, and that might require branching out a bit :). Plus it's just good for him to get to be out there and live how he wants to, not worrying about endgame right now. I think Buddie will happen one day, but for now I am absolutely happy with this <333. I think it's gonna be great, and I am so excited :D.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode! It was sooo good, and not just The Moment. All the calls were cool and interesting, including the crossover, which was fun. Everyone's individual storylines were good, and even through a lot of silly moments, packed and stuffed with emotion :'). Plus all the little throwbacks to episode 1, and the series in general, were great and really awesome :'DD. Also, just thinking about the impact of the kiss being in the 100th episode <33. Wow. So insane (me) <33. Anyway, Buck and Tommy was wild but they were cute, I'm glad Buck and Eddie are doing better. I'm also glad everything got worked out between Athena and Harry <33. The situation sucks but I think we made the best out of it :')). I loved the Buck and Maddie interactions and moments this episode, they were great <33. I wish we got a few more team moments, or full family moments, for the 100th episode, but that's a small thing :) ❤️. I still THOROUGHLY enjoyed it and I thought it was just absolutely amazing.

So yeah! I loved this episode, I thought it was super great. There were a bunch of fun storylines, which I don't want to forget about in light of the last scene. I'm so excited for the next episode! This has been my review of. . .

Quin, happy Friday eve, we’ve almost made it to the weekend! One of your answered asks has me curious—what are your thoughts on who in the One Piece-verse would be voted Most Likely to be Yanderes?

Oh man - this has me cackling with Glee.

Voted as most like to be Yandere:

Akainu - how else do you expect such a terrible personality to end up with a partner? Of course he’d have to kidnap them \o/ (idk that I think he actually Is though, personally. Maybe. I could see it. I just think he’s a dick. Maybe not a possessive one though.)

I don’t think anyone would vote for Sir Crocodile, even if I see him as very yandere, and that’s kind of the scariest thing about him. He’s so smooth. He exudes a sense of control.

He has you in his grasp without letting on how deeply possessive he is, and he’s patient and romantic, and very meticulous. You can live a whole life with him that’s completely non-toxic, as long as you don’t try to leave. You’ll have a beautiful wedding, kids, picket fence, whatever the hell you want. Honestly, he’d probably walk away from the whole Warlord/pirate/mafia thing for you if you truly desired it. (He’d rather bring you into his world, but I can see him being willing.)

The second you move to leave though, the jaws clamp shut and never let go.

I can yandere vibes for a lot of the OP world, especially in twisted AUs and such, but honestly no one nails it quite like Crocodile. Doffy might just kill you if you try to leave, but you’re going to know he’s twisted from the start.

Blackbeard, some of his crew, a few marines (even Akainu), I can see having some of the vibes, but it wouldn’t be surprising. I can see possibilities of it with Law and Zoro too - and I could see Law being like “the most likely to be Yandere in the Worst generation” XD cause everyone thinks he’s so creepy and calculating.

I don’t see it canonically with the Kid Pirates - any of them. There’s a loyalty is a two-way street vibe, and if you wanted to bounce they’d let you and never look back (even if it hurt like hell). That said I am 100% planning a yandere kid pirates story, so take that as you will xD

Marco ends up with a surprising number of votes, but it’s more of a “he’s too quiet” kind of deal. Like he has to be hiding something xD I think he’s smooth AF, but I don’t see him being toxically possessive.

Idk if that was more or less than expected, but yeah I got plenty of yandere love to go around. I even have notes for a Yandere Shanks story >.> though absolutely No One would ever believe Shanks was yandere.

That drawing of the specialist as faries, that had Sky and Helia with hearts and Timmy with electricity and Brandon with stars got me thinking

You know how in s6, Bloomix happens? Those drawing made me imagine the girls sharing their powers with their boyfriends to make them faries! Or witches, depending on their magical inclinations, and what I personally think is cooler XD

So Sky would get fire and dragon powers, Brandon stellar powers, Helia plant powers, Timmy electronic powers, Riven sound powers, and Nabu is already a fairy so he doesn't get any :)

Nabu is their chaperone. Magical tutor, if you will. Baby sitter so they don't blow themselves up one might say

(I know Helia already has magic but shhhh Helia and Flora are form different planets so it get to mix them >:D more fun like this)

I think it would be interesting if this mixed with their own natural magic from their planets. So Eraklyon has the core of gravity, Timmy's planet has the core of metal, Helia's planet has the core of law/order or something similar (Saladin canonically has justice powers so it has to be something that can produce a magic user of Justice), and Riven's planet....I haven't actually decided yet. I'll just do a couple for him then :) for variety

Fire + Gravity = Fairy of Plasma

Stars, which is essentially space fire, are made of plasma that's held together by gravity sooo it fits me thinks. I didn't want to make him the fairy of Stars XD

Dragon + Gravity = Fairy of Honor

A lot of Bloom's dragon powers are more....symbolic effects so I leaned into that. Valor with more gravity applied to the concept would be honor I think? Because valor is only having honor, courage, ect in battle, so if the term has more weight, you'd be like that all the time, therefore honor...be nice, I'm trying my best over here. It's all very symbolic, and I think it matches Sky's good boy enegry perfectly bc it would force him to act with in the confines he seems to always act within. I think his powers would be like summoning weapons to battle with, being able to send sword beams, the Sirenix punching and kicking, and more importantly being able to force people into fair fights by using his magic to make people honorable. I think it would be majorly dope

Brandon:

Sun + Gravity = Fairy of Blackholes

What do you get when you take a star and add a fuck ton of gravity?? You get blackholes! Damn Brandon, who said you got to be so powerful? Me, I did. He and Stella can have a little darkness and light thing going on, it's cute okay?? He'd also be able to teleport like Stella!! And there'd be some time manipulation powers there too!! Very powerful skill set

Moon + Gravity = Fairy of Orbits

I think this would be an actually really fucking dope power. It would be like free redirection of any attack. I don't think it would be possible to attack or defend directly, which is why it would be so cool to watch/write because you'd really have to think about it. Very dope, I love

Sun + Moon + Gravity = Fairy of Tides

Yeah the sun and the moons gravitational pull on earth really only seems to both do one thing, control the tides. Brandon has Aisha's Nick dub powers now lol

Helia:

Nature + Justice = Witch of Comeuppance/Karma

This is just for if Helia inherented Saladin's magic, cuz Saladin is the only living and magical relative of Helia we see so I wanted to just entertain the idea, but this wouldn't be Helia's powers

I'm thinking his powers would work like Jinx form teen titans, basically instilling bad luck on people or pulling a sans during the Geno run (his magic only hurts as much as the person he's attacking has hurt others). His attacks would be pretty boring looking as they'd just look like pure magic but I imagine he mostly uses his powers to make people fall out of chairs, make vending machines give out multiple cans of soda, help cats get out of trees, banal luck based stuff

Nature + Law = Witch of Natural Laws

Wow that's such a basic name form the combination nooo T-T but Helia would have magic of Gravitation, Electromagnetism, Strong Interactions, and Weak Interactions. He wouldn't be able to control them. Like Samara is the fairy of Gravity and she can make gravity happen from anywhere, in any direction, however powerful she can manage. Helia can't do that, he can only strengthen and weaken already present gravitational forces. So he can pull someone to the ground, or make them float, but he can't pull them up essentially

I think Helia would have a lot of fun working with this. Helia up at 3:00 a.m. researching the four things he has power over to see if he can do any sick combos

Timmy:

Metal + Tecnomagic = Witch of Conductivity

Timmy just gets all the electrical parts of Tecna's powers but a little more niche. Not the one I would go with, but the first thing that came to mind

Metal + Tecnomagic = Witch of Electrical Currents

This is what would likely be his powers, this is dope and I imagine he knows a lot about this stuff so he'd very likely be able to pull off some dope ass spells based off of technical magic. Likely turns himself into a living taser. Buzz buzz bitch

Riven:

When I imagine Riven with magic I usually imagine him being able to create giant cracks in walls, knocking down ceiling, and stuff like that so that's the direction imma take these in

Sound + Something Solid (like earth) = Fairy/Witch of Earthquakes

This is most similar to what I usually imagine his magic to be like so I'm very partial to it. Mostly because it's primarily environmental, and that opens up a lot of cool fight scenes that rely heavily on surrounding and incorporating them into the fight :)) just very cool stuff if your into fight choreography

Sound + Anything Abrupt or Sharp = Fairy of Shockwaves

This one is the one he's more likely to have because it can actually be used in a fight XD. Shock waves are faster than soundwaves, but are required to be abrupt, so you can't have continuous shock waves. Which I think is an interesting difference and limitation. There both a type of wave so I was worried about them being too different but this supplies a whole new set of tactics. Like shock waves also don't travel as far as sounds waves (i think). So shock waves are better for close range combat, while sound waves are more suited for support. Very fun all around

Didnt Flynn himself and or some other Archie artists comment on the whole Shadamy as Silver's parents due to Silver being basically Trunks, and with Shadow being the Vegeta figure well, it just kinda makes sense no? Although honestly I see Rouge as more a Bulma that Amy is. Amy clearly fills Chi-Chi's role a lot more especially to Sonic's Goku. Then again, the comparison doesnt have to be perfect and its not like Sonic takes all the inspiration from Dragon Ball completely to heart.

Flynn and others have made several passing comments/jokes about Silver being a descendant of Shadow and Amy, yeah. However, Flynn himself has stated, as have said-other writers and artists, that whatever they say is not canon. It's just them having fun.

I kinda like that they can do that? Like, a person should be allowed to have fun with the material they work on, even if what THEY see and think isn't in the final product. Gotta go through quality control after all.

Sonic DOES take a lot of inspiration from DB, without question. Flynn himself did make the connection between Trunks and Silver. I can see both sides of the coin that you present with Amy, to be honest. She is a lot like Chi-Chi AND Bulma. Best of both worlds, I guess XD I don't believe this would directly correlate with Sonic's world though. As you said, 'the comparison doesn't have to be perfect, and its not like Sonic takes all the inspiration from Dragon Ball completely to heart.' Which like... is good. If it DID entirely lift and drop stuff from DB into its own plot, that might be grounds for plagiarism XD I do not know Japanese copyright law, however.

If this is in relation to the whole 'Is Silver Your Kid' question that was received here, I'll confess.... I wanted to leave the door open. I wanted to imply that it is possible, as Amy points out, that Silver MIGHT be their kid. She was casting about for reasons to doubt it until she conceded that the reason people probably think that is because of the relationship and parallels between Shadow and Silver... then low-key joked/blamed Shadow and their treatment of Silver as to WHY people think that. Then, Shadow flipped the script back on her.

I confess, too, that I had originally planned on going into physical similarities and differences as well as anatomy spiced up with some headcanons. Like- 'Don't just assume that Shadow and Silver are related because of chest fur. Most dudes have chest fur. Sonic doesn't because he doesn't want to take too much testosterone.' but I was worried I couldn't answer that in character in a logical way given the parameters of the question.

Tbh, I wasn't that fond of Furina when I first met her in game. I guess she was an okay character for me? Though her personality was.. interesting to say XD Though I didn't like Fontaine's culture of making a trial look like a show because.. well, being in trial at a court is a serious thing.

Anyways, further along the story, a part of me did think Furina was possibly pretending, but I couldn't of a reason why. I also thought that maybe Neuvi was the real Hydro Archon? But then we find out the truth and... Gosh. 500 years of having to pretend. I feel that. I feel for Furina. Furina the human. And for Focalors the divine to sacrifice herself, and ohmygosh. Her message for Furina before she vanished. To live her life. UHUUUUU I CRY. THE PAIN. THE SORROW. UHUUUUU 😭😭

And after finishing the Finale, I don't know where she is. Like, is she okay? What will she do now? Will she return to Fontaine? I haven't started her companion mission yet. Will probably find out soon but it still makes me think. SHE NEEDS A HUG!! TT

Especially the law part because I've always had an interest in it and know a bit about it sjdnkfks Their legal system is definitely weird, from the way they treat their trials to the laws themselves. Now that you mention it, maybe it was a bit shorter than one would expect? Raiden's DEFINITELY felt longer and so did Scaramouche's. But the Furina's whole story distracted me from that fact, so I don't have much of a problem with it. I still don't really get why Skirk had to appear though? But maybe we're getting closer to more stuff about Celestia and stuff 👁️👁️ I'm curious what was going on with Childe though. What did the guy do in there.

Focalors is dead + Furina is fully human now without a curse and she's not presenting herself as the archon, so I guess they don't have one? But Neuvillette has the archon's power so?? I'M CURIOUS WHY SIGEWINNE LOOKS MORE HUMAN TOO. She says she's a melusine and she does act similar, but she doesn't look it? Maybe hoyoverse just wanted to make a playable melusine but needed her to look more appealing to players 😔

slight vent and update on irl situation ;;w;; !

So - as some of you may know my mom had passed last year in November 2022 due to ovarian cancer. That in itself, is another story of its own that I’m working through with my student psychologist right now. 

However, there is a lot of inner family turmoil thats a result of my mother’s death and it just seems like it snowballed since February of this year. If you guys wanna know the full situation go on ahead and continue or if you guys just want to listen to drama haha XD. I’m already broken beyond belief right now and its taking everything in my willpower to not just hibernate. 

- My family and I are muslims, but my mother was a convert. She was originally from a Catholic family and converted to marry my father. Because of this, my maternal family may not be aware of the customs surrounding islamic funerals and burials. One such custom, is that the belongings of the deceased must be given to family members or donated to people in need. My maternal family - particularly my grandmother, kept stalling and begged my father to wait/to not donate them yet. It wasn’t later that my father realized my grandmother was redistributing the items to her friends and people she knew (because she hates donating to people in need). My father donated all of my mother’s items without telling anyone and it caused my grandmother to freak out. 

- My father started dating again in January 2023 and ‘formally’ married in the end of January (the actual wedding happened in March - he never told me at all about this). My maternal family found out the same time they found out my father had donated all of my mom’s clothes, so they came to the conclusion that the ‘other woman’ was trying to actively throw out everything about my mom and replace her. They’ve turned my useless autistic older brother against my father and step mom.  - The family are continuing to feud over this and are actively pulling me into their messes as mediator, even though I was quite literally still grieving and trying to balance law school all the same. 

- And while thats all happening + on top of school stress and living situation abroad, shortly before I got back home to Indonesia, my step mom and dad kept hinting at me that they have something very important to tell me and that I should mentally get ready for it even though I was already mentally exhausted from all the other shit happening. 

- The thing they wanted to tell me about was one of my mom’s dying regret. That all this time my young cousin (who I actually call younger sister because we were raised very closely) turns out to be my actual younger sister. Her parents - Catholic sister from my mom’s side - couldn’t conceive so they, together with the same grandmother causing a fuss,  pressured my mom all those years ago to allow them to adopt one of her kids. Originally, they wanted to choose me, but I was already old enough to recognize who my parents were. So they ended up adopting my younger sister. My father wanted to tell her as soon as possible because it was my mother’s dying wish but her parents adamantly refused (despite the fact that they watched as my younger sister sobbed over my mom’s body, thinking the entire time it was her aunt) and right now, we’re working for a way for my sister to be able to meet my dad privately without their intervention so he could tell it all to her clearly. 

Yeah my life... I have no idea why it took this k-drama ass turn but I guess this is a good reason why I have never liked K-drama. So yeah! :’’DDD I tend to lurk and enjoy reading your RP threads! But damn, this was already too much for me and I just needed to scream into the void about whats happening in my life. I’m gonna adopt a cat once I get back to the Netherlands and no one can fucking stop me.

Alright so if Dan's oddly vague "probably next Summer" is indeed true (look he knows the answer, is the mouse holding him at gunpoint for a mere basic timeline confirmation???), it obviously does beg the question of how this is going to be addressed in-show.

Like, he also said it's basically the same show, so that means Doof is back to evil, and Candace is still busting. The latter has some room to it (especially if it's a literal compulsion she has), but the former would probably need some explaining.

Like, viewers will need a catch up on why he's evil despite the series finale being "ok I'm not evil now". Probably means they will have to address the spin-off pilots(?) and... yes, Milo Murphy's Law. Anyone who knows me knows my feelings on the trajectory MML went on, but I think they could just vaguely explain his time between Summers as "I went and did some shit, it didn't work out, so now I'm stuck back here". I do think it will be interesting to get into the character motivations behind it all though, like is it just a case of being directionless and nothing working out (ha ha accidental meta commentary), or is there more to it?

As said with Candace, I do think it's easier to have her back to busting. Candace Against the Universe was the closest we got to closure for her, but well apparently it takes place before Last Day of Summer so it obviously didn't stick. OCD is a bitch. There's obviously the post-Summer episodes showing her still, which are a weird enigma in themselves (two episodes that take place on Halloween night lol), and if you ignore my weird broken timeline theories, it does even show in Happy New Year she "relapses". So point being, I think it can work. Same with Doof even if that's harder to justify. What if she also falls back into busting cuz she struggles to know what to do and that causes a mega relapse cuz old habits die hard (again, kind of meta too lol)?

Hmm, what else is there to cover... I guess they'd need to address Vanessa's OWCA internship, if that ever went anywhere. There could be potential subtle changes too because it's a year ahead of the original run, how those would look I have no idea.

I do wonder if the opening of the next episode is going to be one big "we're back" song (it feels very in-character for the show to do), but I also wonder if they could use it as a way to explain what happened between Summers, any necessary changes. On that note... what if they get more specific and deliberately mirror the Curtain Call song? The fourth wall hasn't been set yet, and they just explain what's been happening. Also, it would be cool if the episode started with Phineas opening the door and waving HELLO this time.

So yeah, many possibilities. All I ask is that there's none of those stinking probability ions in the revival. I'm trying to keep the MML salt to a minimum, but I do think despite personal biases for ease of non-MML viewers MML refs should be throwaway and simple. Obviously that's a bit harder when they make some big changes to PnF lore in that show, but if it's not important, most that's necessary is a nod to what happened without dwelling on it. But please... no probability ions. I'm begging you.

To be positive again, I do think a "next Summer" allows for more creative freedom, so if they wanted to drag in MML and (probably more likely for show synergy) Hamster and Gretel guest stars, they could. Would be harder to do if it was the same Summer.

I guess another thing worth wondering is... how will the show be broadcast? Disney TVA stuff airs on Disney Channel/XD usually, but The Proud Family is proof this isn't set in stone. I mention this because PnF is HUGE on Disney+. I won't be surprised if it airs on Disney Channel, but the Disney+ userbase makes me wonder if that will be the primary broadcast method for the show now. Could also be synchronised. Hard to know for sure, but I know marketing has to take the Disney+ viewerbase into account.

Okay I think that's everything about the whole "how will the show be back" topic, so yeah. Guess we'll see sometime next year how it looks. Also, I promise I'm going to try as hard as possible to be quiet about probability ions. I swear. :'(

14: Are there any tropes you would only read if written by a trusted friend or writer?

Oh yeah, definitely (well, or if I'm desperate for more fic about my ship, but that's between me and my AO3 history). Fics where one or both of my fav pairing dies…fics with a main character who's an OC (idk I'm just…weirdly hyper-sensitive to them?)…schmoopy Hallmark Christmas fic… anything that has a strong possibility of pressing my embarrassment squick and I want to know the payoff will be worthwhile, or any fic that I know is going to stab me in the heart and I want to be sure the writer is using only the finest-quality surgical instrument to do it.

17: What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?

Ohhhh, hah! I think there's always going to be one other person who will appreciate it, aside from maybe my Pangur Bán/t100 crossover, if only bc I find it hard to keep going in a fandom without at least one other person to bounce off of. Sometimes it's a sort of baffled, 'okay yeah I ship these characters too, even though I have NO IDEA why you are doing this with them' appreciation, though!

But – okay, generally it's the really specific, niche crossover AUs that I want to write, based on other things that the actors in my ships have been in. idk, I just really enjoy mixing two things together, it's so much more vivid to me. Oh, I really want to write the one with David Castañeda's dumbass actor character from the short films he's made with his pal Matt Law, crossed over with Ritu Arya's look from when she played an alien in Doctor Who (I've not seen the actual episode so I'm just making that one up from photos). That just really appeals to me. They're so entirely different, and there's no good reason they should hit it off, except that I want them to. XD
