hiiii I just wanted to say you’re super epic, I love your cod:bocw art and like,,, your blog in general! keep up the cool work and stay silly, you’re amazing and I love seeing you on my dash!!
AGHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH^^<333
Honestly, I can’t express how much that means to me. I get worried people don’t really enjoy my art that much because it has such a squishy and sfw contrast to most of the CoD fandom’s taste, but I feel like the bocw fandom is really neat and fun and cool to talk to??
I’d like to get into other Black Ops games and I have a lot of plans for future content *cough cough* Bell hurt/comfort fanfic *cough cough* but this is all I have for now! ^^
thank you so so so much for you kind words and supporting my stuff lately and I will indeed stay silly >:3c

Hannibal possessive over will blah blah blah NO. Hannibal is a jealous teenage girl he's not POSSESSIVE he's JEALOUS. Very different. WILL on the other hand. WILL is possessive. Bro signed up for therapy with Hannibal's ex wife just to talk about him and how he loved him more like be so fr, once that guy began settling into his feelings about Hannibal he was like "Yeah soooo he's only Mine, actually. Only mine. You can be in as many relationships with him as you want but he's Mine Forever actually."

asdl;kfjas;ldkfjs;ladkjf I've just been recruited to do some paid freelance writing for a reputable online paper that focuses on the intersection of social justice and health, a position that's funded by a state grant. I'd be writing about domestic violence, restorative justice, and possibly also trans/queer experiences within those spaces, and I'm just like. Losing my goddamn mind.

I realized a few weeks ago that I still had the Irish Pagan School listed on my own resource recommendation list, which hadn't been updated in several years, so that's now fixed.
I recognize the importance of centering native Irish voices in Irish polytheism. However, that doesn't mean supporting a resource that is aggressive, bullying, and uses public shaming, nor which encourages an echo chamber in which those behaviors are actively encouraged and rewarded. The activism that IPS encourages is the kind that's based on guilt-tripping and despair, which isn't sustainable, healthy, or conducive to dismantling anything other than voices which would attempt to contradict it.
Unfortunately, Lora O'Brien has been so influential that many other Morrigan-focused groups have adopted some of her ways. I stopped participating in any online Morrigan groups since before COVID because of this, where bullying is justified as "establishing boundaries" and if you don't like it, it's because you're a "colonizer" and "part of the problem." I'd hoped Jon would help mitigate some of her worst behaviors when they first got together, but except for introducing the Dagda to many people - which is genuinely lovely - that hasn't proven to be the case.
Some of this echo chamber effect has also resulted in some dynamics that I would classify as cultish, although some of it seems to be happening in spaces that she didn't create herself but which have really taken up some of the worst parts of the environment she's fostered. I'm no longer in any IPS groups, so I don't know to what extent this particular dynamic has or hasn't been been directly encouraged.
Anyway, there are other native Irish voices who don't pull this bullshit, and there are plenty of wonderful, native Irish resources with academic studies of Irish lore who aren't tied to shaming and guilting.

I don't think I'll ever be able to watch the battle of Ostagar cutscene without tearing up, or at least getting a little misty-eyed.
there is just something about it- not just it being one of my first big "holy shit, this is real" moments during my first playthrough (which was also my first time playing an immersive RPG), but...
that stumbling step that soldier takes backwards as the darkspawn horde emerges from behind the hill, only to be stopped by the raised arm of the person behind them....
the way the camera trails over the rolling waves upon waves upon waves of darkspawn, showing exactly why Duncan likened them to a tide...
the poor mabari, that pained whine, and the way both Cailan and Duncan have to look away for a moment as the dogs run, ever-obedient, into their deaths...
there's just no other battle scene I can think of that is this intimate, and this chilling, and this human, even 15 years later. that scene is just such a great showcase of why exactly this game holds up so well.

the second i saw f1twt canceling lando over the heart wall i lost it
my lesbian ass found every part of those photos so aesthetically pleasing, do NOT tell me i have to be offended by something just because you don't like a driver and are trying to push an agenda against them @ f1twt
🙄 It's giving "tell us everything about yourself so we can judge whether or not you're allowed to partake in the thing."
Like, legitimately not even implying anything with this but that's how some people act if you do anything near the queer community without disclosing everything about yourself. Bro might have rocked up in that alley, saw a pretty and very themed wall with a convenient ledge, and chose to take photos there. Bro could have also done it 100% on purpose. We may never know, nor do we have any right to. He does not have to reveal his identities one way or another to justify why he's taking a damn photo or that he's "allowed" to.
