MEETING A NEWCOMER
Featured characters: Allen Sugasano, Hajun Yeon, Anne Faulkner, Kanata Yatonokami ♡ Tags: Headcanons but also a bulletpoint fic, mutual crush, casual romance, she/her pronouns, not really proofread! Not really sure what to write for Hajun, so I'm sorry if it's not up to standard! ♡ Word count: 1,895 ♡ Synopsis: You, a newcomer, was introduced into a city of hip hop. You didn't quite understand it, but you were eager to learn from the people around you.
Tumblr media
You have moved here for university, not knowing what this city was actually known for. You just assumed it was any other ordinary city...
Tumblr media
Allen, who was one of your fellow classmates at university was an odd one. He didn't look friendly so you didn't try socialising with him at first, but when you saw how he acted towards his friends, you decided to at least try.
You found out that he was just awkward. He greeted you in return when you introduced yourself, but his eyes started sparkling when you mentioned that you were new to the area. He asked whether you're into hip hop, but if you weren't, he had some recommendations for you to listen to.
"Is hip hop that big here?" you asked him curiously.
"Yeah!" he exclaimed. "There used to be this place called Club Paradox where..."
You listened to him ramble on and on about hip hop and these legends called 'Buraikan' who founded these so-called 'Phantom Lives.'
It was all a little confusing, but it had you intrigued. Because of this, the two of you had exchanged contact info so Allen would be able to send you his recommendations. When you were finished listening to them, you would text him your thoughts. Gradually, you started having a taste for hip hop that in your free time, you'd visit record shops looking for songs that you haven't heard of yet!
Allen was always so appreciative of how willing you were to indulge in his interests — in his life. He wanted to show you more about the city and about hip hop, but he also just wanted to spend more time with you.
"I also produce and write my own songs!" Allen said one day, hoping that would impress you. "Would you like to listen to them?"
"Seriously? That's so cool. Of course, I'd like to listen!"
"Alright, just meet me at the club! I'm performing there as BAE with Anne and Hajun."
"C-Club?"
"Oh, haven't you been to a club before? Then I'll accompany you before our performance starts. It'll be fun!"
Why not? you thought.
Allen picked you up before his performance and showed you around the club. It was an interesting yet fun experience, but what you found kind of weird was how he kept holding your hand throughout it all. You didn't think too much of it though. He was probably doing that in consideration of you, so you wouldn't get lost in the crowd.
"So yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it!" he said. "Will you be okay here? We're starting in ten minutes."
"Yes, I'll be fine," you replied. "I can't wait to see you perform!"
"Alright, see you later, (Y/N)!"
Watching him perform live was amazing. You finally understood why people here liked watching 'Phantom Lives.' They were incredible! You were so drawn into Allen's performance that you couldn't see anything else but him.
"Haha, how was it?" he asked you, panting.
"It was so cool!" you chirped. "And that was the song you wrote too? It was great!"
"Hahaha, thanks, (Y/N)!"
So whatever Allen did with hip hop, you were there too. You became closer to him than before that he no longer was a classmate to you, but someone even more special.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just like everyone else, you were drawn to Hajun's prince-like charms, but you never dared to speak to him. He was definitely on another level than you, and you didn't want to disturb him with your plain, ordinary presence.
However, fate brought you together when Hajun spoke to you first. He picked up clues that you were new around here and wanted to help you familiarise yourself.
Confused but thankful, you accepted his offer. He was like a tour guide, bringing you in his limo around the city. It was kind of awkward at first, but he eased you into it when he would ask you where you came from and why you decided to move. He was friendly, but you could taste the way he teased you too.
After bringing you to so many places, Hajun had asked you if you knew about hip hop or anything to do with phantom lives. When you denied it, he merely chuckled and said that you should watch him perform. He didn't go further than that, so you had to find out yourself what he meant by it.
BAE was his hip hop group where they performed phantom lives at clubs. You entered by yourself, waiting for the show to begin. Hajun was up there on stage accompanied by Anne and Allen. Their performance was spectacular. The way Hajun rapped was something you didn't expect coming from him, but at the same time, it made perfect sense.
"So you made it," he teased. "Did you enjoy the show?"
"Y-Yes, it was good!" you exclaimed. "Those were the illusions you talked about? They were pretty! How were you able to do that?"
"With my phantometal, of course," he replied, showing you the feather ring on his finger. He let you touch it due to curiosity. "Isn't it cool~?"
"It is!" you giggled. "Can I watch you perform again next time?"
"Haha, sure."
Not only did Hajun help you with familiarising yourself with the city, but with university work too. You should be grateful though because he wasn't doing this for just anyone. However, he was also questioning his actions when he thought about it.
He supposed that he was helping you out so much because he was also in a similar position when he arrived in Japan. He just wanted to make your experience here easy for you.
Plus hanging out with someone cute like you was actually fun. He loved answering whatever questions you threw at him especially those relating to hip hop. He always looked forward to your daily greeting in person and text.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anne had caught an interest to you almost immediately. Of course, it was because you were cute, but it was also because your outfits were embarrassingly plain. They wondered if you'd allow them to dress you up. So one day in class, they introduced themselves.
Once Anne took in the info that you were new here, they were even more excited to become your friend. They wanted to show you everything! Entertainment, fashion, music, everything you were interested in!
And that's how you were introduced to hip hop too.
Taking in the knowledge of the city from Anne was like homework. They dumped everything on you so quickly that it was hard to grasp, but as they pulled you around the city, it was always so exhilarating.
"Oh, I'm also a part of BAE," they said. "It's the hip hop unit I'm in with Allen and Hajun. We usually perform at clubs, but we're going to be competing in Paradox Live next!"
"P-Paradox Live?" you queried. You knew of phantom lives since Anne mentioned those before, but this was different.
"Yep, it's gonna be huge! We're going up against other hip hop units to win ten billion! You'll come support us, right?"
Of course you were.
But standing in front of Club Paradox was intimidating. Everyone around you looked excited out of their minds, but you were the opposite.
"(Y/N), over here!" called out Anne. As you turned, they linked your arm with theirs and led you inside with Allen and Hajun. "I'm sorry, I'm going to have to leave you here," they continued. "But watch us closely, okay?"
Watching Anne perform that night was thrilling. Even when the rest of the units performed their songs, Anne's performance was something you couldn't shake off. The illusions that they described to you through words could not compare to the real thing.
After that, you would always watch Anne in person whenever they were performing with BAE in Paradox Live; cheering them on and voting for them. Anne would always look for you in the crowd too, happy that you appeared in their life.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Unlike BAE, you didn't meet Kanata at university. You bumped into him on the streets to university. You were lost and that's how you ended up at the slums. He thought you were an idiot, but he helped you out anyway.
You explained that you were new to the city, so you still didn't know your way around. Kanata was disinterested, but when you asked him why hip hop was so prevalent around here, his ears perked up.
He explained everything, but he also mentioned how there's 'real hip hop' and those who desire to make hip hop but fail. You were curious about what he meant by this, so you pressed him further into showing you what 'real hip hop' was.
He was about to refuse. He didn't really want to get close to you to begin with, but seeing that sparkle in your eye made him think otherwise. It also didn't help that you were kind of cute.
"Fine," he breathed. "When do you finish uni? I could show you today."
And so he did. After dropping you off at university, he picked you up straight after you were finished. It was evening by then, so the streets you walked on were crowded with people waiting for a team called 'Cozmez' to perform.
He grabbed your wrist and dragged you into some shady underground business, situating you in a corner where he was sure nobody could disturb you.
"Just stay here," he said. "You'll be okay."
"W-Wait, where are you going?"
"I'm performing."
Before you could say anything else, he grinned. "You'll see what real hip hop is, (Y/N)."
And he was gone. You noticed that he was with someone else too, someone that looked oddly similar to him that you just knew he was his brother. When they were on stage, the crowd cheered louder than before.
That's when Kanata started rapping. You watched him intently, your eyes following his every movement, his every word. The music was loud, but it was exciting.
"So this is a 'phantom live'..." you murmured to yourself as you watched the illusions the twins were creating. "It's beautiful..."
You didn't expect Kanata to come back to you right after performing, but he did, asking you what you thought of it. You caught the slight bit of excitement in his question which also surprised you because even if you had just met him today, you already had his character noted down in the back of your mind. He was rude and aggressive, but he was also kind in a way.
You smiled. "It was awesome! I can't believe this is what I was missing out on!" you replied. "You were amazing, Kanata!"
His cheeks heated up, but you couldn't tell as it was dim. "Thanks," he said casually.
"Eh~ who's this?" asked his twin. "Kanata, I didn't think you were that type of person–"
"I-It's nothing like that!"
Nayuta introduced himself because if his brother was willing enough to bring a random girl to a place like this, he was sure that Kanata was a little interested in you.
"Be good to my brother, okay?" he whispered into your ear teasingly.
From then on, you became close to the Yatonokami twins, but you were even closer to Kanata, the boy who helped you on your first day. He became a lot more patient with you as he introduced you to even more places around the city, familiarising yourself with hip hop and the story behind it. It was always so fun learning more things when it was with Kanata.
And perhaps, Kanata was a little thankful that you got lost in the slums that day too.

Even though Lee Yeon had been waiting for centuries to find her again, the moment he did he almost thought she was a mirage. He had been coming to this ice cream shop for years and not once had he seen her before. So when the bell on the door rang catching his attention it was almost like time stood still, or flashed back even.
Somehow she had the same face? It felt like it was too good to be true. So much so that Lee Yeon had to convince himself that she wasn’t real, that it was just a coincidence. It was just his luck that you managed to be the new start at that exact ice cream shop. It felt like a cruel trick from the world, toying with his heart.
He just couldn’t help himself. After a while, Y/N began to notice lights, like fireflies always around her. She always smiled when she saw them like the stars were keeping her safe. Although it wasn’t the stars. Shin-Joo kept trying to warn him not to get too involved, it might not even be her, but of course, he didn’t listen.
Lee Yeon knew that the minute he took another human's life to save hers he’d have a heavy punishment but he knew he’d endure any pain in the world to keep her safe. The whole situation felt like a dream to Y/N. She led such an ordinary life, but if she knew the world that surrounded her she’d have a very different idea.
She never expected her life to completely transform in what felt like the blink of an eye. Normally she was so safe walking home, she had taken this route countless times before. Maybe that was her problem. The minute she felt a pull on her arm she let out a scream. The force of something hitting her in the abdomen was enough to knock her to the ground. As she began to cough the figure stood up straight in front of her. With only light streetlights behind them all Y/N could see was a silhouette. That’s when she sees them, the fireflies.
From the darkness came a blinding light, like something on fire. It illuminated the silhouette red and she thought she imagined it at first, but she could swear she could see glowing eyes in the distance. She watched the figure spin on the spot towards the light, but just as quick as he spun he dropped to his knees. Lee Yeon knew he wasn’t supposed to interfere, that he wasn’t supposed to take a human life, but he broke the rules for her once before and he’d do it a million times over.
Y/N hadn’t noticed that the blunt force she felt was actually a knife so she had no time to react before passing out in the alleyway. Luckily Lee Yeon rushed past to pick her up he dashed to his car trying his hardest to get her to Shin-Joo. Lee Yeon was too focused on driving to even notice that Y/N was dipping in and out of consciousness. Although for some reason, regardless of what just happened to her, she felt safe. She could see the fireflies.
When Y/N finally woke up she was in a stranger's bed, she didn’t enjoy the sudden empty feeling in her stomach. She was fully dressed, still wearing the clothes she had that night except now there was a bandage wrapped around her abdomen. As she made her way around the strange apartment she noticed a smell from the kitchen. She made her way there slowly trying to make as little sound as possible.
Shin-Joo was doing his best to prepare breakfast for the guest as quietly as he could. So much so that when Y/N made a sound entering the room he jumped in surprise letting out a little squeal. Y/N immediately flung her hands up in surprise not really knowing how to react.
“Erm, where am I?” On the list of questions she could ask it felt like the most obvious one. She clearly wasn’t chained up but that didn’t mean something sinister wasn’t happening. Shin-Joo put down the veg he was cleaning and wiped his hands on his apron.
“I’m Shin-Joo, you got attacked yesterday. Do you remember?” He said while motioning towards the chairs at the kitchen island, it was probably best she sat down after a situation like that. As her body sunk into the chair she then felt the pang of pain from her side and suddenly the pieces fell into place.
“The alley… the fire… they were there again.” Shin-Joo nodded as she spoke until the last part, he cocked his head to the side in confusion waiting for her to elaborate but she never did. It was like she was stuck in the memory again.
“What was there again?” Shin-Joo pressed on for information. He couldn’t deny he was interested in figuring out who she was and how she had the same face.
“The fireflies,” She smiled as she spoke as if these tiny creatures were her sworn protector, “Where’s the man gone?” Her sudden mention of Lee Yeon made Shin-Joo jump. Lee Yeon said she was unconscious when he brought her to the vet. She began to look around but she wasn’t going to find him, he’d already gone to accept his punishment.
“He had to take care of some business, you probably won’t see him” Shin-Joo did his best to skate around the truth. Even though she seen the fox right in front of her she would probably never believe in his existence. She immediately started slowly shaking her head from side to side.
“No, you know him so you also know where he is, you have to take me to him” She protested. At first, she didn’t know why she was reacting this way, there was some fire inside of her and she knew that she had to find him again. Shin-Joo was interested in this reaction, he could almost feel her determination. Like something reaching out from the past that was so close, within an arms reach.
He tried to protest but if he had thought Lee Yeon was stubborn he had met a new champion. Y/N would not budge for any excuse or reason in the book and Shin-Joo was almost too excited at the situation to fight back properly. Eventually, he caved and drove her there, it wasn’t like she was going to be able to get in let alone speak to him so if it would satisfy her need then he was willing to entertain her plea to see Lee Yeon.
What Shin-Joo wasn’t expecting was the Y/N just opened the door and walked straight in. She shouldn’t be able to do that. She really shouldn’t be able to do that. With more determination than she’d ever felt Y/N walked through the massive building, almost overwhelmed by emotion or maybe it was just fear. She rounded the corner and came face to face with an old woman who spoke calmly but sternly.
“You should not be here, leave.” There was no emotion on her face. Y/N got the chills just looking at her in the eyes, there were too many stories behind those eyes.
“Please I’m here to see someone, I was told he’d be here.” Y/N didn’t know what to do at this point. She had no idea what she’d walked into and she was completely out of her depth. Despite everything against her she held strong and endured the piercing gaze. The old lady cocked her eyebrow as if she had an idea, let's see how far she would go for a man she’d never met.
“Fine…follow me.” The old woman turned on her heel towards the back of the main room. She snaped her fingers and a part of the wall flung open like doors revealing a grey hellish landscape. She motioned for Y/N to go in. Y/N at this point just assumed she was still asleep. This was an elaborate dream she was having while unconscious. At this thought she let out a laugh, what’s the point of being so serious if it’s just a dream?
“This is a dream right, ahh that’s a re-” Before Y/N could finish her sentence the old lady hit her across the arm with a nearby ruler stinging Y/N instantly. She recoiled in pain and shock. Okay, not a dream then. Everything suddenly got very real, “Okay, not a dream. Got it.”
Y/N had no idea what she was doing and frankly, she was too far to turn back now. She walked through the door and was suddenly in a completely new environment. She was on a dusty and grey cliffside. As if all the color had been drained from the world, it felt like hell. All she could see was the doorframe behind her leading to her normal world and on the other side a long rope bridge. She couldn’t see past more than 10 steps of the bridge it was shrouded in a thick fog. Who knows how long it is? Suddenly she was joined by the old lady who spoke calmly again, like she’d done this a thousand times.
“You have entered into a world you know very little about. He broke an oath when he took a human life to save you and he is now paying that debt on the other side of the bridge. He will remain here until the end of his punishment,” She paused and walked closer to the bridge the wind picking up and making it sway side by side, “However if you are willing to cross this bridge to the other side I will let him go.”
It seemed too easy, Y/N knew that. She walked closer to the bridge trying to guess what the trick was however the closer she got the further she wanted to run away. What was she really doing here, for a man she hadn’t spoken to? Yet he saved her life knowing he would be punished. Maybe she owed it to him. Maybe all of this was still a dream, that was the one she was holding onto.
“It’s too simple.” Was all she could muster. The old lady nodded slowly agreeing with her, she still held the same blank expression and the lack of emotion was really starting to freak her out.
“It is the bridge to Knife Mountain,” The old woman paused almost as if she were waiting to be questioned. However, Y/N loved mythology growing up so she followed along, “You may cross it and free him, but be warned once you start you cannot turn back. This could very well kill you. Is it worth it?”
Y/N took a long time looking in between the door and the bridge, she was talking towards certain death there was no way of beating around the bush about that. Crossing a bridge she can’t see the end of knowing knives are going to be flying towards her. She could feel something in her heart like her soul was glowing like this moment right here is where her entire life changed. So she turned her back to the world she knew and took her first step across the bridge.
Y/N was not going to waste time to find out just how bad this was going to be. Holding both sides of the bridge and trying to keep her head as low as she could she started to walk plank to plank across the rickety bridge. She really hoped this was just a test of bravery and there weren’t any actual knives, she prayed the legends were wrong. It didn’t take long for the first knife to whip past her arm making a slit in her arm, recoiling from the pain she then got hit by a knife flying to her right. Luckily she stood her ground quickly and tried to focus on her steps more than the pain. Luckily they had only grazed past her, almost like the bridge was toying with her.
The next one went a good few layers deep in her thigh and suddenly it was all starting to pick up. Y/N could feel the wind rushing past her and in retaliation, she tried to pick up the pace. Maybe if she could get through it fast enough she could make it out alive. The wind got heavier and suddenly she felt more objects fly past her body. Then she felt it, cut by cut as they just caught minor parts of her skin. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was 1 or 2 but the more she ran the higher the number got. She could feel her skin starting to swell and bleed and suddenly each step felt heavier and heavier. She was losing too much blood to keep running.
Then that fire returned the same fire that made her take the first step. The feeling like her soul was glowing, only it was. She looked down to see what looked like a light coming from inside of her. It roared orange like it was coming alive and suddenly she couldn’t feel the pain anymore. Her body did not feel light but it was almost like it was trying to keep her alive. Then she caught a glimpse of it, a mountainside far off in the distance. That was all she needed a sign she was almost there. As the fire inside her grew the light got brighter. All she could feel was her feet taking her away as if something else was in control of her body.
Lee Yeon who had been shrouded in mist and fog didn’t really know how to react when he saw a flicker of light in the distance. At first, he thought he was imagining it but the larger and closer it got the harder it was to ignore. His eyes couldn't make anything out as the light hadn’t pierced through the fog yet and even as it began to it was too bright to find its source. The chains made it hard for him to look up barely being able to strain his neck but he also couldn’t manage to pull his eyes off the light.
As his vision started to focus and the light started to concentrate he saw Y/N bathed in bright red fire, he could see the flames forming 9 tails behind her with one prominent light emanating from her chest. She had it, the fox orb. The closer she got to Lee Yeon the more she felt like it was dragging her more than leading her, dragging her towards him. With the powers of the fox orb, it didn’t take long for Y/N to end up in front of Lee Yeon.
It was almost like the orb knew she was safe because suddenly the fire faded and she dropped to her knees in front of him. As she strained her neck to look up Lee Yeon could already see the different cuts along her face and neck. Suddenly they were face to face and Lee Yeon watched her eyes fade from the fox glow back to her natural colour.
“I think this means the old lady is gonna let us go now.” She laughed out, although it was strained and breathy due to the pain coursing through her body. Just as she spoke, with almost magic timing, the chains holding Lee Yeon in place disappeared and his arms dropped to his sides, the blood from his body finally flowing again. He heard the door behind him fling open and he could feel the old woman's presence behind him but he really didn’t care. The first thing he did when he was free and could feel again was hold her face.
He looked at her so intently and she didn’t even flinch. She matched his stare and his expression softened instantly and without knowing tears began to well in his eyes. It was real, he had waited all this time after everything he sacrificed. There was so much he had to say, had to do but all that could wait. He just smiled and ran a thumb along her cheek.
“I finally found you.”

a private after party | park yeon-jin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Navigation | More Park Yeon-Jin | AO3
synopsis: It was just a party for award that Lee Sa-ra received. It was huge one, full of important people. But what really mattered was how you and Yeon-jin celebrated when no one was watching.
warnings: red flags? yeah, i've noticed them. smut. rough sex. degradation. praising. thigh riding. choking. s&m. masturbation. alcohol consumption. smoking. cheating (i'm so sorry ha do-yeong you deserve so much better my king). gn!reader is also part of the asshole club.
Tumblr media
You both could've say it was an accident. A mistake. That after hours of feasting on whatever Lee Sa-ra mixed in your glasses stopped you both from thinking straight. That it meant nothing.
But that's not true.
It wasn't a mistake. Every second spend with Yeon-jin can't be a mistake. It wasn't the first time, or the second, nor the third. It wasn't a accident. No stupid party or expensive alcohol was responsible for anything.
The fault is on you for getting away from your friends and search for a empty room in that Gallery. The fault is on you for calling Yeon-jin — by dialing her number, because touching her contact would be too easy. The fault is on her for telling Ha Do-yeong to go home earlier, that she just wants to make sure her friends get home safe. The fault is on her for climbing three flights of stairs without once thinking about turning back and heading home instead.
But when Yeon-jin locked the door, the fault was on you both.
"Red wine?" Sitting in one of the armchairs, you smirked. "Are we celebrating?"
"Sa-ra just got awarded," leaning against the door, Yeon-jin held the bottle with both hands. She took a sip, straight from the bottle, and walked over to you. "Of course we are."
You reached out, but Yeon-jin pushed the bottle away from you. She took another sip, looking deep into your eyes, before giving in. After drinking a bit, you put bottle on the corner table. "That's a pretty dress you're wearing."
Yeon-jin rolled her eyes. "I'd look better naked."
"I know you do," you smiled, and once again Yeon-jin got reminded on why she loves you so much. The way your eyes darken when you have fun, your lips curling up when you smile, all your beautiful hair. You have kind words and behaves nicely, but you're just like her. "Still, all I can think about is Monica Lewinski."
Yeon Jin slid his knee against his thigh, and then rested his hands on the armchair behind his body. Her knee came up, pressing against your panties, and the evil smile finally appeared on her face. "You're already drunk, aren't you?"
"You never cared about this before. Neither did I," you licked your lips. You tugged at the hem of your red dress. "You're perfect, but you look even better when you wear my clothes."
Yeon-jin bent down until their noses brushed. You moved forward instinctively, but she decided to explore your neck. You smelled like wine, and tasted like something sweeter.
"He didn't even noticed," Yeon-jin laughed against your skin. "And he thinks he's so smart. So above anyone else."
"I could fuck you in front of him and he still wouldn't understand a thing," you could almost sense her pussy throbing. Yeon-jin has a weak point for talking shit about her husband. "Maybe I should try next time he invites me to dinner with you both. Show him how you need to be treated."
Her eyes got darker. "And how's that?" You don't know how she does that, but she does. And often.
Your fingers tightened around her waist, forcing her to sit on your lap. You grabbed her chin, nails piercing the soft skin. Yeon-jin didn't even realize she rolled her hips against your thights. It was instinctive.
"Like a needy bitch."
Your hand went up to her neck, and you held it tightly. Her gasp vibrated up your arm. "Aren't you even going to pretend I'm wrong?" You squeezed her waist. "Won't you at least pretend not to be my little bitch?"
Yeon Jin shut you up with a kiss. She threw herself against you, her fingers pulling your hair in an attempt to bring you even closer to her, and melted against your body.
You forced her waist down, feeling how soaked the fabric of her panties already was. She leaned on your shoulders, sliding against you. Yeon-jin lifted her dress, exposing her black lingerie.
Yeon-jin has never been the type to ask for what she wants. She just takes it.
You squeezed her body, your fingers marking her ever so sensitive skin. Part of you wanted to really mark her. Sucking her neck, spanking her ass hard, scratching her back. You wanted to mark her as yours, expose to Ha Do-yeong how you managed to take from him the only thing that really mattered. How Yeon-jin was never his, always yours.
"You look so pretty underneath me," Yeon-jin moaned.
But you wouldn't do this to her.
Yeon-jin unzipped your pants, rubbing her fingers against you. With her touching you like that, looking at you like that, you couldn't help but feel complete.
But feel owned.
Yeon Jin drank more of the wine, and put the bottle in his mouth. Wine ran down your chin, dripped onto your clothes, but you didn't care. How could you?
You pulled her by her hair, bringing Yeon Jin's mouth to yours. You kissed her, making her drink the wine in your mouth, and moaned when Yeon-jin's hand became rougher. Less delicate. Just the way she knows you love it.
You're the only one that can make her head get empty. Bringing pleasure to Yeon-jin until that's all she is. A squirming little thing that only cares about having more of you. No one could replace you.
She's the only one that can make you desperate. That can turn you into something simple: into something needy. Someone that craves for her and only her. No one could make you forget her.
Open mouth, empty mind. Yeon-jin melting against your thigh, you breaking apart in her hand. Close eyes, full heart. No other drug can bring you both to ecstasy so easily.
"You're my favorite toy," Yeon-jin whimpered. A needy bitch. Your needy bitch. "My pretty, beautiful doll. You're the only one for me. You know that."
The mark of your nails on her throat were a proof of that. The stained dress on her body were a proof of that. The soaked pantie covering her used cunt were a proof of that. Yeon-jin calling your name at night, sleeping beside her husband, were a proof of that.
You took the bottle from her hand, taking a large sip. Darken eyes, curled up lips, your beautiful hair. Yeon-jin already knew what you would say, even before you opened your mouth. "I know that."

a soft sigh escapes you as you shift to sit up a little straighter in your chair. you sleepily blink a few times in an attempt to wake yourself up as you continue reviewing your notes. your hand aches from hours of diligent notetaking and your neck burns from how long you’ve been hunched over.
sieun pauses momentarily, eyes shifting from his textbook to look at you before he continues. you rub a hand against the back of your neck as your pencil rolls to the side. you stretch your arms out before crossing them to create a makeshift pillow; leaning your head against your forearms.
“you shouldn’t lay like that,” sieun comments. his hand never stops writing and his eyes remain fixated on his still-open textbook, but his attention is completely on you. “it’s bad for your neck. at least bring a pillow or something next time.”
you resist the urge to complain as you push your notes away and lean back against your chair. your attention shifts from sieun’s barren dining room to the boy himself. his fringe perfectly frames his face as he continues scribbling down notes. his shoulders are hunched over similarly to yours, though he looks far less tense than you feel.
you reach over, carefully taking sieun’s hand into yours. he stops writing entirely when he feels your fingers trailing against his own. your nails gently scratch against his skin as you lift his left hand up, pressing fleeting kisses against each of his fingertips.
a deep blush begins to creep up his neck and across his face. sieun’s face burns at how nonchalant you are as you continue to play with his hand. you absentmindedly trace small shapes against the back of his hand as you shift to lean your head against his shoulder. your hair tickles against the exposed skin of his neck as you adjust your position next to him.
you intertwine your fingers together before resting your hand against the table, letting your eyes flutter closed as you relax against sieun. his lips just barely quirk upwards into a soft smile as he looks down at you. he watches for a few seconds as your breathing slowly evens out as he quickly scribbles down the rest of his notes before finally closing his textbook.
sieun carefully reaches down to put his notes away before pushing his backpack aside. he glances down at your still-sleeping figure for a final time as he reaches over to gently shake you awake.
you sleepily blink up at him when you finally awake, momentarily letting go to rub the tiredness out of your eyes. “sieun? what time is it?”
”it’s late,” he says as he pushes his chair back to stand up before gesturing for you to follow after him. “come on.” his arm lazily rests around your waist as you follow his lead, letting him guide you into his bedroom.
sieun reaches over to turn a lamp on his bedside table on, casting a golden glow across the room. a small desk sits in the corner surrounded by various notes and study guides taped onto the drywall. sheer, white curtains hang over the window, just exposing a small sliver of the dark night outside.
you slide underneath the blankets beside sieun, rolling to lay on your side to face him. he props his head up with a pillow as he shuffles closer to you. his bed had never seemed so small before.
you softly smile at him, moving even closer until your arm rests gingerly against his waist. sieun awkwardly tucks your head beneath his chin as a content sigh escapes you. he remains wide awake despite the dark room; the only noise is your slow breathing as you slowly begin to fall into a deep sleep.
“y/n?” he whispers into the quiet. you don’t react, giving him the confidence to continue. “i think… i’m in love with you.” sieun immediately tenses as the words leave his lips. though he’s only talking to the moonlight, he can’t help the unfamiliarity in each of your loving gestures.
“you’re so handsome, and kind… you’re everything i’ve ever wanted in a boyfriend. even when i didn’t know i wanted anything.” he pauses, hesitantly pulling you closer. “i just… i love you.”
sieun’s heart beats erratically in his chest when you stir slightly, moving ever so closer to him. he can just barely make out the soft smile tugging at your lips. “i love you too,” you murmur.
he freezes, tensing up even more. “you’re awake?”
“it’s a little hard not to be when you’re so stiff,” you tease, pulling back just enough to look up at him. “feels like laying against a door.” sieun’s blush deepens as you reach up, resting a gentle hand against his cheek. you stroke your thumb against his soft skin with a soft smile. “can i kiss you?”
sieun’s breath hitches in his throat momentarily. his face burns as he hesitantly nods. you smile as you slowly lean in to gently pull him into a sweet kiss.

The Devil's Trumpets | Pt. 5

a/n: Hey there, this is my first time writing a fan fiction. I might change a few things in my fictions later on. Also, my English isn't my first language so my writing might lack some fluency. Hope you enjoy :)
trigger warnings: lots of swearing, bullying, murder, gore, depression, abuse, mature content, violence, sexual themes.
pairing: reader x multi
************************************************************************
Moon Dong-Eun
I’ve been a great help to Y/N for quite many days. I finished tutoring Min-hee and helped her get into the Semyeong Elementary School. On the other hand, I helped Y/N move into her new apartment. After finishing helping her settle, I got her the job at the convenience store. The old lady was really nice and that she told us that she was in need of another helper since she couldn’t handle everything all alone. All the supplies for the school and the transportation services were done by me.
After everything was done, I brought Y/N to my apartment. She was caught off-guard due to all the pictures of them attached to the walls in front of her.
“You did quite the research, didn’t you? You weren’t kidding back then when you told me you tracked each and every step they took,” she said as she slowly approached a picture of the group together in their teens. She was reading the sticky notes that I attached on some of the pictures when she saw a polaroid of her when she was young, followed by few other pictures of her from the current time, along with her niece. She also saw a few photos of her families before and after they separated. She stood in front of those and rubbed her finger gently on an image of a girl I believe was her sister.
“You didn’t leave me out as well,” she said as she turned around to meet my eyes. “I have every reason to be mad at you, Dong-eun, but at the same time, I don’t. I can simply report you to the police for stalking me and immediately put an end to your years’ effort, but at the same time, I can’t. I can easily walk out of this place and quit participating in your plan, but I don’t wish to. Because I trust you, Moon Dong-Eun. Not only am I risking my own life, but also Min-hee’s life. Once they find out about her, they will use her against me as my weakness. So make sure you prove me wrong and help us not get caught.”
After hearing those words from her, that’s when I knew I did the right thing involving her in this. She’s aware of the environment she’s getting herself into and knows how to take the necessary precautions, and not just an airhead with the lust for revenge.
“I knew you would feel this way once you notice those pictures. But I couldn’t help it either. When we were in school, you never bought a cell-phone for yourself. So it was quite difficult to track you down.”
“I would rather call it stalking than tracking down, Dong-eun,” she said as she turned away from me to look back at those images. I couldn’t say anything since she made a fair point. But I didn’t have any other choice either.
“I don’t recognize her. Who’s she?” She points out to a picture of Hyeon-nam.
“That’s Kang Hyeon-nam. She works for me as my assistant. She’s the one who helped me land the job as a homeroom teacher. She’s also the one who ‘stalked’ you.”
“Huh, interesting,” she said as she removed her finger from the picture and placed her hands inside her pockets. “I would like to get to know her.”
“You will when the time is right.”
I walk towards the kitchen as she moves from the wall to the window, her eyes never taking it off of those images.
I placed a small security camera at the top shelf in my kitchen, making it unnoticeable, and connected it with my phone. I took out another small box that contained another security camera and handed it to Y/N.
“There’s a possibility of them finding out about our address once they get to know about our plans. So take this, and install this somewhere where nobody will notice it. And don’t be surprised when one of them or all of them enters your house when nobody’s there.”
“Alright,” she takes it from my hand and puts it back into her satchel.
“Come on, let’s go to the roof.”
“The roof?”
“Yeah, I want to show you something.”
“Okay,” she walks past me towards my door. I unlock the door open as she busies herself in putting her shoes back on. As we got outside, I locked it behind me and walked towards the elevator.
We got inside the elevator and pushed the button to go upwards.
“Did you get the invitation for the Alumni Awards?”
“Sorry, what?”
“The Alumni Awards ceremony at Sung-han High. It’s in a few days.”
“Oh yeah maybe I did. I haven’t checked it yet.”
“Am thinking of going.”
“Wait, they’re going to be there too, wouldn’t they?”
“Yes. You need to come as well.”
“What’s the use? We aren’t even getting any awards?”
“It’s not about awards, Y/N, it’s a game of intimidation.”
She kept staring at me as if I said something illegal that deserves life in prison. We didn’t talk for a while.
The elevator came to an abrupt halt and the doors slowly opened before us. We stepped outside and climbed few more stairs to finally get to the roof.
It was a beautiful evening with the sun just setting, the color of the sky a perfect hue of flame. We came near the edge that overlooked the houses that stretched far beyond our vision. The tall buildings at far distances created just the flawless silhouette I’ve ever witnessed. Everything about Semyeong just felt so beautiful at the moment. I never took some time for myself to appreciate how exquisite this place this. The ordeals I faced here, never actually gave me any time to appreciate anything about my life.
“You see the house there?” I points to the one nearby.
“Yeah, what about it?”
“That’s where Yeon-jin lives.”
The perfect moment she was in immediately faded when she heard her name.
“That’s where she lives?”
“Yes. Ha Ye-sol, Ha Do-yeong, Park Yeon-jin, all under the same roof.”
She looked at me with her bewildered eyes, a face of the scared.
“But-then why did you buy this apartment? Wont they find out easily?”
“Not so easily Y/N, she has no clue whatsoever. She still thinks that she can get away with anything. She never learns.”
She looks back at the house. The lights on the road and inside the house lit up as it got darker. We didn’t talk for a while. The sun had set a while ago. Everything is just happening so fast, it’s making me feel overwhelmed, but I didn’t think of telling that to Y/N, otherwise she would be scared too, almost like how a mother deep down feels scared for their children but acts like there’s nothing wrong, just for them to not get scared.
It’s been my dream, for so many years, to stand here and watch over all of them, behaving as if they did absolutely nothing wrong, as if, they can get away with anything they want. Little do they know, that am right here, right in front of them, to prove them wrong.
“The day I dropped out from Sung-han High, I went to meet them, at the gym.”
She removed her hands from the edge and turned to look at me.
“What?”
“Yes. That day, I felt something new, some kind of new change in myself, something a bit evil.”
“Evil?”
“Yes. Almost like, the end of their reign, but a beginning of my hell.”
“What happened that day?”
“That day, was the only day I entered the gym voluntarily. Nobody forcibly dragged me there, I went in completely on my own. I remember so clearly, as I walked in, Hye-jeong started walking away from me, as if she was scared of me. But I ignored her, and went straight to Yeon-jin, sitting at her usual place. The weirdest part is, we talked about our dreams.”
“Dreams?”
“Yeah, they submitted their “dreams” at Cyworld, and I read all of them, told them about those that day. Yeon-jin dreamt of becoming a wise mother and a wife, Choi Hye-jeong dreamt of becoming a stewardess, Jeon Jae-joon wanted to own the golf course, and Lee Sa-ra dreamt of being an artist. Obviously, they asked me about my dream as well.”
“So what did you say then?”
“Yeon-jin,” I said with a pause. “I told her that she was my dream, and that I really wish to meet her again.”
“So all of our dreams finally came true.”
“Indeed. And I wish to bring them to their knees and show them no mercy.”
She turned around to look at me again, but I didn’t. I haven’t taken my eyes off of that house.
“Does Ha Do-yeong have the slightest idea that he married a monster?”
“He doesn’t, but he will soon. And so will Ha Ye-sol. I wish to isolate her to the point that the people she holds dear, the ones who covered up her crimes, will give up on her. Soon then she will feel like the only human on this planet, she would become completely transparent. All of her crimes and secrets will show up and she will rot in hell. Nobody will ever even think, of helping her. You can never change a monster, Y/N, never.”
She stares at me for a while and then looks away. The air was filled with aroma of the potted plants behind us.
“Do you wanna know what Myeong-oh’s dream was?”
“What?”
“To become rich.”
She began eyeing me from the side when we burst into laughters. When was the last time I laughed like this?
We took a breather to stop ourselves from more laughing. It was quite hilarious how Myeong-oh dreamt of becoming rich yet here he is, working as Jae-joon’s lackey.
“Alright then. I guess I’ll see you on the awards day.”
“Yeah.”
We went back the same way we came to the roof. Climbed down the little flight of stairs and got into an elevator to the ground floor.
I saw her out and got her a cab. As I went up to my apartment, I was thinking of how I could have told her about the meeting I had with Myeong-oh few days ago. I will tell her when the timing is right. I bribed him enough to keep him in suspense—he will also be the one to know who murdered Yoon So-hee, hopefully.

hii! I saw that you accept requests :0 well I wanted to ask for hcdns about 'boys being overprotective with their partner' for ryoga, kanata, shogo and hajun, thanks you *hug*
Tumblr media
caim | various paradox live characters x reader
caim; (n.) an invisible circle of protection that reminds you that you are safe and loved, even in the darkest times.
→ characters being overprotective of their partners
→ fluff, g/n reader (overprotectiveness can be toxic though, so i’m not sure if this is still fluff💀)
→ ryoga tosa, kanata yatonokami, shogo yamato, yeon hajun
~ hii, thank you so much for requesting!! i’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re looking for, but i hope it meets your standards :D
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
ryoga tosa ♡
~ ryoga is a man who is aware of his inability to speak to others and often resorts to violence as a result. he was previously a member of a gang, following orders and built up blind rage. when he sees you in an uncomfortable position, something snaps within him and he automatically rushes to your side. a protective arm over your shoulder, glaring down at the person who has caused you trouble. he might even go out of his way to make that person wish they were never born for what they’ve done, but no matter how violent he is at nature, ryoga will never hurt you and will promise to protect you.
“what do you think you’re doing to them?”
kanata yatonokami ♡
~ kanata is known to be harsh, rude, and unpleasant to be around. he also struggles to display affection and his emotions, leading to him expressing overprotective behavior. kanata often won't let you go outside when it’s dark unless he’s with you and constantly asks where you are. he cares for you too much and believes that his behavior is virtuous protection of you from danger. he tries too hard to protect you without consulting you first which causes trouble along the way; but kanata will always love you and is simply unsure of how to handle his feelings.
“don’t ever leave my sight again.”
shogo yamato ♡
~ shogo understands that his role as an idol interferes with his relationship with you; however he always makes an effort to help and protect you when you need him. sometimes, he does go a bit overboard. shogo is away most of the day, considering his busy schedule, so when he is around he always walks you home, has an arm around you, and constantly worries about your well-being. he has an elevated sensitivity to your distress and will continue to keep you from harm or discomfort.
“please be more careful next time, love.”
yeon hajun ♡
~ everyone knows hajun has a bit of a sadistic streak going for him, even you. his sadism definitely partakes in the role of his overprotectiveness as well. no one dares to touch you or make you uncomfortable. he displays aggression and even cruel behavior to those who hurt you or cause you even the slightest discomfort. his protectiveness is always out of love for you, although it can be seen as extreme. he also has trust issues which make his behavior even more over the top; however he loves and cherishes you so much, despite his flaws and overprotective nature.
“i will never let you go.”

33. “Let’s stay like this forever, please.”
The last week had been incredibly tiring for Hajun; not only had he played four concerts in Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto and Fukuoka, then had a fight with Allen while writing a new song for his upcoming album, but on top of that, the atmospheric pressure had given him a massive headache that even a pill couldn’t handle. That’s why the twenty-one-year-old hadn’t been able to do anything productive today except lie down, sleep and drink a lot of water.
You came back from work after three in the afternoon and you immediately felt on your skin that something was wrong. Hajun hadn’t been playing on the console, tapping his fingers on the counter looking for inspiration, singing to himself, taking a shower or cooking dinner for the two of you like he usually did when you went on morning shifts. However, you could feel a dead aura coming from the bedroom, and as soon as you peeked out from behind the threshold to see what was going on with your boyfriend, you felt slightly sad when you saw him sleeping and cuddled up to your pillow. On the nightstand you also saw a pack of headache pills and a glass of water with an ice cube that was slowly melting.
Not wanting to wake your partner from his sleep, you slowly went to the kitchen to prepare a quick meal and a warm drink for the two of you; you decided on simple onigiri with tuna paste, sriracha and pumpkin cocoa with lots of small marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles. You finished the preparations in less than an hour, and at the very end you placed eight onigiri wrapped in nori on a tray next to two cups of drink.
After turning off the light in the kitchen, you went to the bedroom, put the trays on the nightstand, and then sat down on the bed, touching Hajun’s warm forehead. He didn’t seem to have a fever and he definitely wasn’t sick, but you knew perfectly well how he reacted to high blood pressure and stress.
“Hey... Hajun…?” You whispered, not wanting to scare him. The boy opened one eyelid, then the other, then frowned at another attack of pain in the temples of his skull. “I made some snack for us... Does it hurt a lot?” You asked worriedly, to which he nodded slightly. “Aw. Poor thing.” You sat on your ankles next to him, massaging his head. This caress didn’t last long, however, because after a moment your boyfriend grabbed your hand and pulled you closer to him, causing you to fall onto the mattress and pillow right next to him. You spread your arms and without surprise you felt his head melt into your chest, and your breathing normalized.
“Let’s stay like this forever, please.”
“But our food and cho…” You started, but Hajun only hugged you tighter.
“Please.” He repeated, avoiding your gaze. After all, you hadn’t seen him in a meek, calm and submissive version for a long time.
“… Fine.” You replied, hugging his neck tighter.
You didn’t even realize when the cocoa and onigiri were forgotten and you were attacked by sleep and the desire to rest. It was a really positive ending to the day.

Yup. Seeing someone (especially your friends) dying before your eyes again and again is scary and could mess up your mind at least.
When he thinks he is the reason, the one who started things to happened, the reason his friends "dead" 2x, the reason nya gave herself to the sea..
Anyway what am I trying to say, Jay should be written as a character himself, not as someone who should fit xxx role.

"Can you peel me an orange?" (w/ BAE)
Featured Characters: Allen Sugasano, Hajun Yeon, Anne Faulkner ♡ Tags: Fluff, established relationships, no mention of pronouns ♡ Word count: 1,184 ♡ Synopsis: Inspired by the Orange Peel test that's going around the internet lately, but this time with BAE! Click here for Kanata's version.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍊 ALLEN SUGASANO
It was around 10pm when you asked him to peel you an orange. You had gotten this idea from a video Anne showed you, so you were curious about how Allen would react especially when he was busy writing new music.
But you did feel kind of bad asking him to do this now, when he was so concentrated and in his element. However, you knew this was the perfect opportunity to do so.
"...Huh?" Confusion was scribbled on his face, but he didn't put his pen down, so you assumed he wasn't listening.
"Allen, could you please peel me an orange?" you repeated.
Still not stopping his rhythm, he replied, "What...? Why can't you do it?"
You could tell he was just genuinely confused by how his eyebrows were raised.
"Are your hands okay?" he continued, looking up at you. "Let me see them–"
"What? No, they're fine!" you laughed. "It's okay, you don't have to."
You weren't too upset at his reaction to this test. After all, he was busy and 'in his zone', so you decided to just leave it at that.
Allen stopped for a moment as if he was thinking about something. If he rejected your request, would you be disappointed in him? Maybe your hands do hurt, but you didn't want to admit it. Or perhaps it was just something a boyfriend should do for his lover? 'Yeah, it's probably that...' he thought.
He stood up from his seat and headed over to the kitchen. He grabbed an orange and washed it before peeling it. He was rather quiet about it as if he was pouring all his concentration on this one simple task.
"Well, here you go, (Y/N)!" he exclaimed happily once he was finished peeling. "That was random, but I hope you enjoy!"
You instantly smiled at this, appreciating how cute and kind your boyfriend was. "Thank you, Allen," you said softly. "I love you."
"Mm, no problem! I love you too, (Y/N)."
Allen was already back in his seat, scribbling away at his notebook. You couldn't just leave him here to himself after he kindly accepted your request, so you kept him company the whole night, feeding him pieces of your orange before drifting into a peaceful slumber.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍊 HAJUN YEON
You had just returned home from a long day of work, annoyed but still upbeat. After all, your boyfriend Hajun was here to greet you with one of his sweetest smiles.
"Ah, welcome back, (Y/N). How's your day been?" he asked you, looking up from a sheet of paper that he was previously scanning.
"It could've been better," you answered with a yawn.
However, this time, Hajun didn't greet you with his usual hugs or kisses. You wondered why until you noticed the orange he was eating.
"Hmm... I want an orange too," you said nonchalantly.
"Sure, go ahead and get one."
"Aw, but Hajun... could you not peel one for me, please~?" you playfully begged as you clasped your hands together in a way to get him to oblige. "I've been having a rough day so it would be nice if you could do that for me!"
You were just joking, but when Hajun wouldn't move from his seat and then stated you could peel an orange yourself because 'you were perfectly capable of doing so', it ticked you off.
"Come on, Hajun... You're my boyfriend..."
"Are you really that dependent on me, (Y/N)? Haha, how cute..."
He was clearly making fun of you with his lighthearted jokes. You just weren't in the mood for that today and because of that, you got easily irritated. You didn't really want to go back and forth with him even if it was playful banter either.
“Here, an orange for you to peel yourself~” Hajun continued to joke.
You stared annoyingly at the orange he tried to give you. You rolled your eyes in response, preparing to make your leave to your room.
"Why couldn't you just peel me an orange...?" you muttered to yourself. Hajun had caught that, but before he could reply, you were already in your room.
You laid yourself on your bed, groaning into your pillow. “He’s so annoying!” you yelled, your sounds muffled by the cotton.
“Who’s annoying?” asked Hajun as he opened your door.
“You obviously.”
He chuckled and sat beside you on your bed. “Are you really that upset I didn’t peel you an orange?” he questioned, stroking your hair softly. “Is that what you really want?”
You didn’t respond.
“Please look up, (Y/N).”
You groaned again but obliged. As you lifted your head, you noticed a bowl of oranges in front of you, peeled and separated.
“There you go. An orange peeled just for you~”
You couldn’t stay mad at him. A giggle escaped your lips. Throwing a pillow at your boyfriend which he caught with his face, you finally said, “You’re so annoying, but thank you.”
As you happily began eating the oranges, Hajun watched you attentively. Maybe he should peel you more fruits from now on if that's what makes you happy.
But not after teasing you, of course!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
🍊 ANNE FAULKNER
It was a chill day where you and Anne lazed around on the couch together, scrolling through your phones. A particular video had caught your eye and so you decided to test your partner on it.
"I'm hungry..." you groaned.
“Okay! Then I’ll tell Hajun to cook something up for us!” exclaimed Anne.
“No, you can’t!” you quickly refused. You didn't want to disturb Hajun especially when he had already cooked lunch for everyone a few hours ago.
"Well, you know I can't cook," said Anne.
"I know you can't," you teased which resulted in Anne tickling you in response. "Hahaha! Could you just give me an orange?"
"Haha, sure thing, love."
They jumped off the couch and walked towards the kitchen. You waited not more than a minute for them to come back to you with an orange.
Now this was the best time for you to drop the question. To ask them to peel that orange for you. The video that caught your interest earlier mentioned the orange peel test where you tested your partner in doing a simple task for you. You wondered whether Anne would peel you an orange or not. You didn't doubt that they would though, but it didn't hurt to try.
You began, "Oh, Anne, could you–"
Yet they interrupted you. "Wait a minute," they said.
You watched them in surprise when they started peeling the orange in front of you. Even when they kind of struggled with it, you watched your partner in awe and love. Anne would peel an orange for you without being asked to.
"Okay, done~" they sang. "Here, love. Say ahhh~"
You giggled, playing along to their game.
"Ahhh~" you repeated as Anne plopped a piece into your mouth. It was sweet just like your partner who smiled at you brightly.
"You passed the test!" you exclaimed, eating yet another piece that Anne fed you.
"Hmm? What test?" they asked curiously.
"Hehe, don't worry about it~"
