Im rewatching Yokai Watch: Shadowside, and i just had a great headcanon idea.

Ok so, hear me out: Touma is genderfluid.

I been thinking about the Ogre watch and,,,, honestly, like, the spirits that posess him are hmm good.

Its split into four, Goemon, Omatsu, Yoshitsune, and Benkei, of who i’m going to say (by modern gender expectations) are boy, girl, enby, boy.

I think this could relate to how often he is each one, 2/4 of the time being boy, ¼ being enby, and ¼ being girl.

Anyway, i just thought that this would be fun to type out, and im not in the fandom often enough to know what the general opinion of lgbtqa+ stuff is so i have no idea uf thia is gonna get hate or not.
