I like to headcanon that Casanuva prefers sweets while Casanono prefers bread... of course they'd like both options but prefer one over the other

Along with that, I think Nuva's favorites from both categories would be Custard Bread and Shortcake respectively, while Nono's would be the Baguette and Royal Pancakes ^^

Maybe any headcanons for Blizzaria and Mermaidyn? Thought that they’d be really cute as a pairing, didn’t get to think of a name for it though, but I’ve sketched it a few times before🤭

❄🦪 COLD PEARLS / Blizzaria x Mermaidyn

Their first interaction began when Blizzaria was hanging out with her fiery friends at the beach, she froze the entire place like always; Blizzaria began fishing. At first, she thought she caught a really big fish, turns out it was Mermaidyn who was freezing. Once Mermaidyn saw the icy yo-kai, she was very much upset at Blizzaria. + Blizzaria, being the sweetie she is, tried her best to make amends with Mermaidyn. Giving her gifts such as flowers, chocolates and cards saying how sorry she was, although most of the time it'd just freeze Mermaidyn, if she were to accept it. + Mermaidyn eventually forgave her nonetheless.

Blizzaria would later ask Mermaidyn out as one final apology, that's when their friendship actually start.

Blizzaria was the first to fell in love, though Mermaidyn was the one to confess.

Mermaidyn bakes a lot of sweet for her girlfriend; Blizzaria would often help out too and even eating parts of it, even the raw dough.

Blizzaria loves places that involves large bodies of water, but Mermaidyn always worries about her potentially freezing her other fellow sea friends.

They're both great with kids, often babysitting them together.

During the snowy season, Blizzaria would carve a heart-shaped mark on the snow, and write their initials in it.

Blizzaria would sculpt Mermaidyn many portrait sculptures (busts) of out ice.

Blizzaria and Mermaidyn both share the same hobby in making handy crafts.

They're most definitely a couple who'd display affection in public, both vocally and physically.

I believe that some Yo Kai powers don’t affect him because he’s still technically human, sure he has the body of a toy poodle but he’s inbetween the living and Yo Kai world. Purgatory if you will

He has tried wearing contacts before instead of glasses but people told him to just put them back on

One of the funniest parts about the whole “Leo not giving Draxum any grace” idea is that Draxum is one of the ONLY notable older men in the show that Leo isn’t willing to give a proper second chance to OR really hear out in the first place.

I turned the disphoria demon into a yokai!

We all know mirapo, right? Well, this is his much less helpful cousin, Kagameanie. (Kagami(Japanese for mirror)+ meanie).

Like Mirapo, Kagameanie is a ungaikyo, a demon mirror. While mirapo connect to eachother in a network, Kagameanie is... less helpful. They make people focus on the imperfections in their reflections, no matter how minor they may be...

In layman's terms, they give you dysphoria

Less extreme than the original myth twisting your reflection into a monster, but still ruins your day.

Kagameanie is a D rank, fire attribute, and a classic yokai of the Eerie tribe. His soultimate move is "self shatter" which inspirits opponents into attacking into their opponents.

a little extension/alternate scenario to my christmas mackei fic, if you’ve read it! this was sort of the product of all the ideas i have in my head for the hazeltine family, and i’ll offer some explanation for anyone who isn’t familiar ⬇️⬇️

in summary, buck hasn’t ever been too close to his dad. for the most part, his father has taken his career as a priority over taking care of his kids. even when interacting with them, his position has always been more authoritative than nurturing in any regard. if what interests them doesn’t align with what he finds to be productive, he shuts it down as soon as possible.

this can also include things that seem abnormal, from his perspective (which, as is far too often the case in real life, includes sexualities that deviate from the traditional standard). as a result, buck has always felt repressed to a deeper level than his non-academically focused skill set. for his dad, unfortunately, buck ends up turning into exactly the son he never wanted. comfortable rebelling in some ways, and absolutely paralyzed in others, buck ends up relying on nate for comfort as he figures out how to confront his father.

(this, of course, is mostly headcanon and extensions of the ways that i think some of buck’s actions could be explained a little further in the story!)

ꨄ Honestly was ,keyword was...bites nails, more of a jokey thing with a friend of mine ;'u' I thought it was funny that Whisper just seemed to?? Especially dislike him??? Like ofc Whisper has his moments with other bosses/characters too where he says. Things (IE: "Now that we understand his tragic past, let's go remind him of it!") but. Idk it just seemed especially hostile with the squid </3

Mainly this vvvv and the fishbowl remark he says during the phase 1 confrontation, but I couldn't find my screenshot of that one...sobs

Still didn't like humans but it took a while for Whisper to realize "Oh he like Hates hates them...awkward" <<< guy whose job is to like. establish friendship between humans and yokai. ꨄ First meeting! In my hc Whisper would've still worked under the previous Enma at this time and Squisker's been minister for a while yk, so it was probably at an Event of someeee kindddd....I'm not too good at politic stuff so imagine whatever you want. Partyish thing, meeting, rally, etc.

ꨄ They had different ideas on what would be best for all yo-kind, but could agree to disagree. Got along well enough beside that :) both formed a little mutual crush over the years and wanted to test something out. Went well for a decent while but then. Well when you get to really know a guy...

ꨄ Was not a clean break-off because it was funnier def made more sense. Couldn't tell you exactly how it went but Whisper left that night

Carniboy and Herbiboy

My two underrated boys, here are some headcanons.

Herbiboy goes by the nickname "Herbie".

They have a slight Jekyll and Hyde thing going on. Carniboy is a form he takes when feeling confident, happy, romantic etc. While Herbie is the opposite. ( I'm thinking of making a design that's somewhere in between.)

Carniboy is a form he took a bit after the war when he got slightly older. He still kept his hat.

Yokai watch headcanon I have

Okay, so, we all know about Venoct's dragon-scarf thing, right?

Well, imagine if Venoct's li'l dragons weren’t just designed for combat, but were also basically his emotional support system? Like, when Venoct is under a lot of stress or gets reminded of a CERTAIN YOKAI (Iykyk), they pull the part of the scarf covering Venoct's face and nuzzle affectionately on Venoct's face like a pair of cats

I forgot to mention this! But I also hc that Venoct gave names to the li'l dragons, with the right one being named Kuro, and the left is named Shiro
