Stan Lee’s The Reflection Anime Promo Streamed

The series will premiere on July 22 at 11:00 P.M. JPST on NHK and Crunchyroll will be streaming the series as well.  The series will simulcast worldwide and will last 12 episodes.

The Reflection is set in a world in a wake of a major incident known as the The Reflection Event. The world soon gets covered in darkness leading to the death of many civilians.  A small group of individuals with superpowers called the The  Reflected will change the fate of the world.  Some will seek to save the world while others chose to fight against it.

The cast includes:

Shinichiro Miki: Xon – A mysterious hero who always appears out of nowhere.  His age and background are unknown, however he is able to copy and store others’ powers if he manages to touch his opponent for three seconds.

Satoshi Mikami: Ian Izett/I-GUY – His main power is the ability to generation concussive blasts with this voice. He wears special armor that enhances his abilities and is known to be a famous rock star.

Mariya Ise: Eleanor Everts – She excels in computer skills and intelligence gathering.  Her main ability is to instantly teleport to short range distances and has a strong relationship with Xon.

Satomi Hanamura: Lisa Livingston – She is an energetic girl and curious in nature.  She also participates in wheelchair sprinting and the Reflection Event caused her wheelchair to gain the ability to transform into a giant robot.

Kanae Yoshii: Kana

Hirona Murata: Hiro

Uki Satake: Uki

Sayaka Nishiwaki: Saya

Shouto Kashii: Deadwing – One of the Reflected who lost all human characters after The Reflection.  He is completely devoted to Reys and his power revolves around ultrasonic waves.

Yuko Sanpei: Flaming Fury –  Another follower of Reys and has the ability to control fire.  While having deep concentration, she is able to stay underwater.

Yoko Hikasa: Steel Ruler – A cool headed woman under the leadership of Rey. She has the power to control metal.

Tomomichi Nishimura: Mr. Mystique – A retired astronomer who predicted The Reflection event.  He has the ability to search other individuals who was gifted by the Reflection Event and can communicate with them.

Kouki Miyata: Reys – An individual who is seeking out others who were also gifted from the Reflected.  His agenda is a mystery, however he uses others to help fulfill his objectives.

THIS IS ACCEPTABLE. Was that a Rick and Morty ref? I can’t remember, but I’d love for them to meet Hajime! There’s so many colorful personalities that I think he’d enjoy (loosely stated since I love him and his absolute salt and sass being a part of everything he does whether it’s with sweet intentions or not)! I have Kubo the critic with his complaints about the Academy pre-Hanamura, Andou, and Toujou; Goryoku who gardens but is also a real buff dude with an aggressive side to arguments; Umesawa who’d (read:try to) dress him up like a freaking princess/prince (whichever makes her happier), Yoko who is an absolute catch with his true personality not reflecting his talent, Kashiki who is legit the real sweetheart that would instantly want to speak with him, Someya who believes firmly in karma and would make a great friend even if he has a temper about being wronged, and Murasame who’d also be one to lecture him about talent and how it doesn’t make anyone lesser! 

I think it’s nice that he’s around during 77′s first year so that they could actually have a chance to meet him, BUT I love nondespair verses, too!

The Izuru plot is a mixed bag in my mind, because I’m wondering how the’d react to this knowledge; Murasame, who knows that any top tier person or place will always have its secrets, would be disgusted but he’d understand that his position doesn’t give him much ability to report this to the public (plus, what good would it do? Hope’s Peak would instantly try to cover it up and ruin his entire career just because he squealed; they have the power, they’ll use it). They’d probably try to speak with him, try to coax him away from the path he’s on (more so Murasame) and then ask him about who he is on top of it all! It’d be really great to develop because right now I’m just, “I wonder how that would go?”!

CHAPTER FIVE | Out of Infinity

The final five participants of the killing game gather for one last time to discover the mysteries behind Neo Hope's Peak Academy. Everything has lead up to this moment, it's time to finally unmask the mastermind behind the killing game.

The first thing on everyone's minds is the eerie similarities between the situation they have found themselves in and the fates of the students who attended the original Hope's Peak Academy. Fourteen years ago in the year 2000 an explosion had occurred that had completely leveled the building. The tragedy left only one survivor who later went missing herself shortly afterwards.

But just what had happened that lead to the destruction of the academy? Was it just a horrific accident or had this all been planned?

Another mystery is the existence of a group known only as Agrippa. Agrippa appears to be a secret organization or cult of some sort and it seems likely that they have ties to the killing game. Some of the students were even able to discover a secret hidden message left by Agrippa in which they claim to be there to rid them of a disease or illness that they had contracted.

But... Nobody there felt ill. At least not any more than they did before. Was there any truth to this or was it all just another mind game from the mastermind.

One last big piece of evidence was the class rosters for the classes of 2000 and 2014.

Meanwhile this list has two extra students and... That wasn't the talent that Jin had claimed to have at the beginning. And you thought the name Junko Agatsuma sounded familiar!

Eventually it comes up that Jin and one of the missing students, Namiko, are closely linked and that Namiko was spared being forced to participate in the killing game as she had to stay back home to perform Jin's duties.

Now there's four clear possibilities of just who was behind this killing game.

Namiko, the mysterious missing cult figurehead.

Jin, the secret cult leader amongst them.

Junko Agatsuma, AKA HOSHI, a supposed survivor of the 2000 Hope's Peak Academy disaster.

Catrina, a second mysterious missing student that seems to have no connections to any of the remaining survivors.

Everyone gathers for one final trial to seek the answer to this last dilemma.

During the trial both Junko Agatsuma and Jin confess to being members of the organization that arranged the killing game, Agrippa, with Junko being the leader. Meanwhile Jin was a sort of asset for Junko, using his skills of social manipulation to push the game in all the directions that Junko needed it to go.

But there's still one big question on everyone's minds... How is Junko Agatsuma still alive? And how did she manage to fit in amongst the others so easily despite logically being in her 30's?

Junko reveals that her class had a genetic experiment performed on them by Hope's Peak Academy which would effectively make them immortal. From that day on Junko began to heal from wounds at superhuman speeds and she no longer aged like a normal human would. And as time has gone on her theoretical immortality has only grown stronger to the point where she's afraid that soon she may be completely incapable of dying.

This is when she reveals to the other four that they too now had to bare her curse. Neo Hope's Peak Academy had recruited her once again to use her genes in order to make her other 15 classmates theoretically immortal as well.

For this reason she organized the group known as Agrippa in order to take down Hope's Peak Academy for everything that they had put her through. However, she didn't want the others to have to live even 14 years like she had, being unable to age and treated like a lab experiment. So she planned to kill each and everyone of her classmates while they still had the chance to die. And she wanted to do it in such a twisted and gruesome way that Hope's Peak Academy would never be able to come back from.

And at this point it becomes clear that just because the game was coming to an end that didn't mean the remaining participants would be leaving with their lives.

A bright light fills your vision and then... It's all over. It seems that in the end HOSHI, or Junko Agatsuma, had gotten exactly what she had wanted all along.

In the end there was only one survivor among the fourteen that participated in the killing game. Though it wasn't any of the five that had made it all the way to the very end. No, instead it was Kyoji Nagase who had jumped out of the building at the very start. His newly obtained theoretical immortality proved handy in this moment as he was ultimately able to survive his fall. From that day he continued to run from his problems traveling along the coast of Japan and spending his free time fishing. From that day he donned a new alias, Akira Chousei.

But this wasn't the ending that you wanted, right?

This story isn't finished yet.

Because you are still trapped in the infinity loop.

Recently a preview for the upcoming The Reflection Anime series.

The series will premiere on July 22 at 11:00 P.M. JPST on NHK and Crunchyroll will be streaming the series as well.  The series will simulcast worldwide and will last 12 episodes.

The Reflection is set in a world in a wake of a major incident known as the The Reflection Event. The world soon gets covered in darkness leading to the death of many civilians.  A small group of individuals with superpowers called the The  Reflected will change the fate of the world.  Some will seek to save the world while others chose to fight against it.

The cast includes:

Shinichiro Miki: Xon – A mysterious hero who always appears out of nowhere.  His age and background are unknown, however he is able to copy and store others’ powers if he manages to touch his opponent for three seconds.

Satoshi Mikami: Ian Izett/I-GUY – His main power is the ability to generation concussive blasts with this voice. He wears special armor that enhances his abilities and is known to be a famous rock star.

Mariya Ise: Eleanor Everts – She excels in computer skills and intelligence gathering.  Her main ability is to instantly teleport to short range distances and has a strong relationship with Xon.

Satomi Hanamura: Lisa Livingston – She is an energetic girl and curious in nature.  She also participates in wheelchair sprinting and the Reflection Event caused her wheelchair to gain the ability to transform into a giant robot.

Kanae Yoshii: Kana

Hirona Murata: Hiro

Uki Satake: Uki

Sayaka Nishiwaki: Saya

Shouto Kashii: Deadwing – One of the Reflected who lost all human characters after The Reflection.  He is completely devoted to Reys and his power revolves around ultrasonic waves.

Yuko Sanpei: Flaming Fury –  Another follower of Reys and has the ability to control fire.  While having deep concentration, she is able to stay underwater.

Yoko Hikasa: Steel Ruler – A cool headed woman under the leadership of Rey. She has the power to control metal.

Tomomichi Nishimura: Mr. Mystique – A retired astronomer who predicted The Reflection event.  He has the ability to search other individuals who was gifted by the Reflection Event and can communicate with them.

Kouki Miyata: Reys – An individual who is seeking out others who were also gifted from the Reflected.  His agenda is a mystery, however he uses others to help fulfill his objectives.

Stan Lee & Hiroshi Nagahama's "The Reflection" Reveals Key Visual, More Cast Info

The official website for the upcoming original superhero-themed TV anime series THE REFLECTION today revealed a key visual featuring its four main characters, and also introduced additional characters with their voice actors.

  The TV anime series is co-created by Stan Lee (Spider-Man, X-men comic creator) and Hiroshi Nagahama (Mushi-shi anime director), and animated by Studio Deen (KonoSuba, Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju). The 12-episode series directed by Nagahama is scheduled to premiere on the NHK network on July 22, 2017, and will be also available via streaming on Crunchyroll.

 - A cool-headed woman who agrees with Reis' ideal and has become his follower. She has an extremely

- A former astronomer who found the indication of The Reflection earlier than anyone and gave warning

 before it actually occurred. Under certain conditions, he can detect whereabouts of the all Reflected, and

 -He has put The Reflected together secretly and has been pulling the wires from behind for some purpose.

 His ability is unknown. He is good at winning the hearts and minds of the people, and has expanded his
