Fresh outta spirit world: Born and raised in the spirit world of the plant spirits, specifically the sylvan realm she’s got a couple of outfits fit for the area. This is the outfit she wears when she first arrives in the human world.

Melffy Missy disguise: After arriving she gets into a series of unfortunate events that lead to her being chased until she finds a way into what turns out to be an old storage unit. Here she finds the Melffy Missy costume, a retired original mascot for a plushy company that focuses on duel monster plushies hence they referenced the Melffy archetype as a staple for their predominately cute line up. When she wears the costume she carries with her a mini chalkboard and doodles/writes to communicate since it’s impossible to talk with the big head.

Duel academy card shop: She first meets Mrs. Dorothy in her disguise and they connect while Dessa helps her out with some errands Dorothy came to Domino city for. Dorothy becomes a close aunt like figure for her and eventually takes her with her to the academy to take her under her wing. Without her Dessa would have had many misfortunes due to a lack of communication and cultural understanding of the world. For a long time though she only works in storage since the first being chased incident has left her a bit reluctant to show her face and prefers wearing the melffy missy disguise when interacting with other people since she feels the reaction from other people is more favourable.

Duel Monsters spirit day: Her costume for the samhain/halloween equivalent of yugioh! :D I wanted to refrain from a plant type since I also like other types but I suck at playing them, I’m a one trick pony and so is Dessa, that’s why she gets a little treat. The costume is of ‘’Spirit of the fall wind’’ a stand alone fairy type. Dessa saw the card once and found the artwork very charming. Dorothy teaches Dessa sewing which she’s really come to enjoy and both thought it would be a really easy beginner project to make herself due to the simplistic design! And she really wanted to try making it herself <3

Slifer Uniform: Due to her condition Dessa has to either regularly duel or make time for rituals and seek out secret spots to otherwise release her spiritual energy unnoticed. She starts out working in the card game shop under miss dorothy and eventually occasionally comes out of storage and works IN the shop, but since Dorothy herself has no idea how duelling works aside from putting cards on a surface and thus has nothing to teach Dessa in that department, she does at one point, makes the change to attend duel academy officially as a duellist so she actually knows what she’s doing and can more effectively utilise her deck to help her ailment.

The Amazing Digital Circus AU Verse Info For Mokuba & Kisara! (Connected to some of @lcstsons Yugioh Muses, mainly Noa and Seto.)

Basic Information

Human Name: Mokuba Kaiba Avatar Inside The Game Name: Locket Type Of Avatar: Human / Player Age: 12 Main Connections From Outside The Game: Seto Kaiba (Big Brother), Noa Kaiba (Step-Brother), Kisara Utahara (Friend / Big Brother's Girlfriend) Avatar Description: A small black dragon with purple eyes and a rectangle-shaped locket around his neck that has no picture inside of it. He's slightly taller than Pomni. Avatar FC: Toothless (How To Train Your Dragon)

Story Description

Following a pretty upsetting argument with his big brother Seto Kaiba, Mokuba runs off to the local arcade he often frequents to blow off some steam and try to get his mind off of things. Once there he sees on a video screen advertising a 'new' VR game called 'The Amazing Digital Circus', and that one can try it out in one of the rooms in the back. Curious and wanting some time 'outside of his own head' so to speak, he ventures back to the totally not shady place and slaps on a VR headset to enter the game. Once he does, his body goes into a comatose state, similar to what his brother experienced in the Death-T arc in canon. This luring of Mokuba was done by his step brother, Noa Kaiba, who infiltrated the circus game code and is classified as a 'Virus' in the code.

Once inside the game, Mokuba takes on the form of a black dragon (essentially fitting the 'wild beast' part of a circus troupe), forgetting various things about himself in the process, including his name, much like the other residents of the circus. What key things he does remember is his knowledge of gaming programming, his love of gaming in general, and that he does remember he has an older brother but cannot remember anything else other than that fact about him. He is also fixated on the locket around his neck, not knowing quite why but that it is very important to him and that he wants to figure out whose picture should be in the now blank spot.

He, much like Pomni, wants to find an exit and return home. He does participate in the adventures Caine creates, thinking that by 'completing' them he will be able to advance further enough into the game to find a way out. He gets along with most of the members of the circus, I'd imagine (except Jax because, well, he's a jerk), and does come to consider them friends and promises if he finds a way out, he will take them with him.

Story Description

Kisara Utahara, much like she is in my modern verse, is a world-famous singer and songwriter known as the Blue-Eyed Maiden, having started performing when she was 12. However, recently, she has been winding down her public performances to instead focus on pursuing the career path of a medical doctor (most likely in Pediatrics, as she has a soft spot for kids), following in her mother's footsteps. She attends Domino University's medical school and currently lives in an apartment with her elder sister and agent, Shiori, in the downtown area of Domino City, Japan. Not only did she choose to attend this university because it is in the city she mainly lives in already, but it also because this city is legally owned by and is the home of her boyfriend, the world-famous CEO of the world's biggest gaming company, Kaiba Corporation, Seto Kaiba.

Upon hearing news of Mokuba being trapped inside of the Amazing Digital Circus game, Kisara drops everything to try and help. She mainly acts as Seto's support in this situation, to prevent him from doing anything reckless in his anger over his brother being stuck inside this retro video game. To that end, once Seto finds a way to access the code and learns of Noa Kaiba's involvement with this entire situation, Kisara offers to go into the game (with him as her outside navigator / programmer) to get Mokuba out herself since he can't go into the game and help on the outside at the same time.

Thus, she enters the game through one of Kaiba Corporation's virtual pods (like the ones seen in the Legendary Heroes mini-arc in the anime), and manifests in the Digital Circus as 'Hope', a white-dragon avatar who appears as a 'NPC' (but is similar to Noa's status as a 'virus', meaning she cannot be deleted from the game by Caine but can corrupt code). Due to her being brought into the game indirectly through Seto's hacking, she fully maintains her memories, unlike the other humans inside the game. She is also able to allow Seto to speak through her or manipulate her actions, essentially 'control her avatar' if you will. She has complete trust in him to allow this.

Kisara's goal is to get Mokuba to get out of the game and regain his memories by creating an exit during a prime opportunity during an adventure, but escaping this colorful retro game is not as easy as it looks...not when you have both a crazy AI in Caine to deal with but also Noa who wants to keep the little Kaiba inside of this place...

Hello all, My name is Luna, or Ki or Ohara; whichever you may prefer to call me. I am a multi-ship; multi fandom roleplayer thats fairly new to the world of Tumblr roleplaying. BEen at the roleplaying game for a few years so I do have experience. I will try and keep this short so we can get to the fun bits, haha I gladly double/triple and play whoever you may want for your muse in return for my chosen favorites. As I myself am in my 20s+ I much prefer to have a partner of at least 17+ However, if we truly click or it's a fandom that's- shall we say on the rare side {Example being; Yugioh, Shadow and Bone, etc} I may be willing to make an exception to this rule.

Not a question. I sense that you’re an ace and jack of all trades. The type to be unsure of your skill but then you fare better than expected. I was reading your thread with Kyohi and Kakashi about the bells. You mentioned in the tags that you’ve never written combat (something like that), only to end up doing pretty well. I’m sure there were more moments like that but I’m sleepy, so my brain is smooth. As for jack of all trades, you’ve got all these different muses (not an easy feat). You draw too on top of that!!!! What can’t you do?

Oh, gosh, thank you--I'm so flattered and honestly extremely happy to see that you think that! I've sort of made it a hobby to 'dissect' the characters I like, to try and figure out what makes them tick and why they act and react to things the way they do.

I've been drawing since fourth grade! Started with my interest in sailor moon and yugioh, I think! But it took a really long time for me to get to the point I'm at. I'm currently at that stage where I can look back at old art and not just cringe, but be happy and think 'look how far I've come'.

roleplay-wise, i first wrote on gaiaonline's roleplay forums back in 2004-ish bc i'm old as frick lies down i used to scour the forums for literate school and 'orphanage'-themed RPs and make up a character for it and then bam, join the RP with them jfjifeo

i also once joined a literate yugioh GX RP in a guild thinking emoji that was fun. that was my first experience RPing with canon characters

but if you’re asking where i started to write in general it was. not on a platform unless notebooks count lmao it’s so weird to me now to think about it, but i used to write in notebooks when i was a kid and young teenager

i have! the GX RP from above required me to make up an OC-- they allowed three OCs, and at the time, i didn't feel confident in portraying canon characters (which is so strange to me now laughs)

all i remember is that her name was airi and she had a crush on hayato, of all characters lmao and also fubuki, bc of course. every girl except his sister had a crush on him :v

i also tried to write for a kfp OC using majora as the FC. unfortunately i made him just as my interest in RPing for that particular fandom was waning, so i never really got him off the ground. and then i started RPing as majora anyway and it felt Odd having two muses with the same face lmao

Introducing Child/Smol!Craquelin! FC is Reira Akaba from Yugioh ARC-V, eye colour isnt' the same but the zoan fruit might have changed it, his hair lightened up due to one piece puberty. which of your muses is the pickiest eater?

I feel like Iyumi would be. She grew up pretty spoiled and probably has only had the finest food and only got what she wanted to eat. Anything she didn't like, she refused.

8. do you ship any of your muses with some of your others?

I don't have many as I try to keep my muses open but I have a set of Yugioh 5Ds ocs who I ship together. My girl Jill and my boy James. However, I can definitely rp them not knowing each other and make them available to ship with whoever. Just in their own personal story, they are a thing. Also I think their fcs are from the same thing but can't remember. lol

12. which of your muses has the most unsteady sleep schedule?

My poor girl Kayleen, especially in her Soul Eater verse. Her parents were killed in front of her and she ran for her life. She ended up on the streets and became terrified of every little noise or shadow. Needless to say it made if difficult to sleep anywhere.
