Anyways, I am shuyu/pegoshima's strongest soldier (not), I've gone on multi paragraph rants about Mishima, and I'll do it again.

Dismantling of hero worship, overcoming issues and overcorrection, loser x loser (/lh), it's all so good. I've consumed all content I can find of them, that isn't just shlock, I am desperate for more. I offer this as propganda in the hopes others will also see what I see

I found the Persona 5 Comic a la Carte at the bookstore yesterday and wanted to share some of my favorite parts since I didn't know this manga existed?? It was very cute! (you might have to click to view some of these since they aren't all the same size)

Ryuji and the protag doing what we all wished we could have during that one scene at the buffet👏 A lovely, awkward lesbian boat ride with Shiho and Ann while Ryuji and Mishima cause a scene two feet away in their IT'S-NOT-A-DATE-EFF-YOU!! boat

start out strong with masochism and eventually blow up Akechi's head with a laser??

and finally THE most relatable comic strip in the entire book. don't worry, he finally found the one he needed though! the personas getting to chill together while watching through his eyes was adorable (I love the mask-shaped screen lol)

Me forgetting mishima isn’t a main character and isn’t as important to literally every other persona 5 fan and having to restrain myself from asking “where’s mishima” when someone makes something of “all” the p5 characters and Mishima’s not there: *sweats* this is fine *passes out and dies*

pairing: yuuki mishima x gn!reader

tags: mishima emberassing himself, comfort, fluff

mishima and you had been dating for a while, but hadn't gone further than holding hands yet

both of you wanted to kiss each other, but were a bit too shy to actually make the first move

it took a month or two before the right moment finally came along for your first kiss

mishima was at your place and the two of you were studying next to each other in silence, before you awkwardly pointed out that it was just the two of you at your apartment

the poor boys face turned red immediately and he offered to leave if you weren't comfortable being alone with him

but when you assured him that you wanted him to stay, mishima relaxed for a moment, only to quickly start to wonder why else you had mentioned that the two of you were alone…

"wait… w-were you trying to hint at something then!?" his head whipped around and he stared at you, covering his blushing cheeks with his hands

seeing him this nervous made you nervous as well, but you assured him you weren't trying to hint at anything

"h-however…" you added "i wouldn't mind if something were to happen…"

now both of you were blushing

mishima slowly removed his hands from his face and instead rested them on your shoulders, slowly inching closer, giving you enough time to pull away if you end up changing your mind

"a-alright… then i'll let something happen…!" he announced with a shaky voice, closing his eyes half way on his way to you, before finally pressing his lips… on your chin

there was a moment of silence, before you started laughing, breaking the awkward tension between the two of you

"w-wait, i didn't want to… i couldn't see where i was… argh, i messed up our first kiss…" mishima whined quietly

but his face lit up again when you rested your hands on his shoulders instead, still with an amused grin on your lips, as you inched closer slowly

"how about we try it again? maybe this time it'll work!"
