…Highschool DxD and Chainsaw Man have the same basic plot

A perverted teenage boy is down on his luck and betrayed by someone he trusted, he then dies before getting resurrected by a hot and busty red haired woman who he instantly falls in love with. He has a fearsome devil ability that makes him a target of other powerful devils. His main goal in life is just to touch boobs and get a harem, and everyone around him calls him a loser for this. His friends include a much more serious man hellbent on revenge and a sassy devil who constantly puts him down.

In my opinion, Kiba is gay (95% sure) and Issei is bi (in denial; obviously), and while I know some people would MUCH prefer that Issei just have the girls in his harem, Kiba and Gasper are just as important. (I know "bromance" exists, we wouldn't be pulling that card if the two were girls and that's partially why I'm mixed about SAO and how Eugeo is treated compared to the girls in Kirito's "harem" in canon; which is why I prefer the games after Hollow Realization over the anime but that's a story for another time).

So I put together some scenes and moments from all four seasons of the anime, the light novel, and chapters from the manga, to fill that shipping fuel and maybe convert a few people in the process. lol (And can I just say how much I LOVE Josh's delivery as Issei and how campy Kiba sounds in the Japanese Dub~)

Kiba Yuuto Romantic Headcanons

Kiba is your textbook romantic. I’m talking flowers, chocolates, gifts, handwritten notes, and poems about your eyes and how much he loves you. 

He’d confess in a chill but sentimental way. If you were put in a life-threatening situation though then you’d get a whole speech on why you’re super important to him and how you’d better not die before he gets the chance to properly confess. 

His love languages would be quality time and acts of service. He loves nothing more than having and giving you undivided attention for hours on end. As a night he’s constantly performing acts of service so having them provided to him instead of the other way around really does something to him. 

He doesn’t particularly care for nicknames, but he has called you ‘love’ once or twice. 

He fell for you first, but it took him a ridiculously long time to notice. 

He doesn't get jealous at all. This man trusts you 100%. 

He’s an amazing cook. He can cook literally anything for the first time, and it’ll taste as if he’s been practicing perfecting the recipe for years. 

He’s very observant and notices even the slightest changes in you. 

He’s a cuddler and specifically likes spooning. He loves how intimate it is. 

He loves hearing you laugh. It’s literally his favorite thing in the entire world.

Rias's voice is carefully neutral, and Mikazuki supposes she can't fault her for such thoughts, Akeno would certainly be able to give her more personable lessons in Magic than anyone Nero could find, it doesn't take away from the awkwardness that premates the air between them though, wouldn't have done much in the end, she'd probably have resented Rias if she had won.

"He let them call you 'Useless Magician'," Kojimaru clarified from where he had taken charge of styling Akeno's hair, he was sat behind the Queen and was making a valiant effort at a crown braid, "you don't let family be called 'Useless' by people who should know better."

Koneko managed a noise of agreement from beside her, seemingly more engrossed in her Kanji workbook than the actual conversation, but she had, at least, kept half an ear on them.

ok as you can see i did vote eiji because he comes the closest and i love him but i still don't think any of these guys are Tragic. none of them are characters in a tragedy. eiji has suffered a lot but he's not spiraling towards a doom laid out for him by the whims of fate and his own actions is he. he's not consumed by doom even as he struggles to escape it is he. he's not marked by the bitter irony of having what he needs so close but unable to reach it is he. i can't believe there's no kenzaki or hajime or LITERALLY ANYONE IN RYUKI SERIOUSLY or takumi or kiba or yuka or hell even tsurugi kabuto or actually the hellbros also and oh fuck yuuto den-o YUUTO DEN-O on this poll YOU GUYS DON'T GET ITTTTTT. godai: canonically kids love him and we know he's good at household chores and he's just a great guy all around so he'd make a wonderful father. however its unlikely that he would have kids cause he's always traveling around, but if he ever settles down i can see foster kids coming in and out of his and ichijou's house all the time

shouichi: i havent seen agito but all i know about him is that he's basically a housewife so i assume he could take care of a kid. he seems to have some baggage that would stop him from becoming a parent tho

shinji: i dont think the thought of having kids has even crossed shinji's mind. can't really imagine him as a parent

takumi: he'd probably have to think long and hard about it first but i can see him warming up to the idea of having kids in the future (i will NEVER forgive inoue for robbing him and kiba of a future together i hope he goes to hell)

kenzaki: for obvious reasons kenzaki can't have children and actually its making me sad just typing this im skipping this one

How many kids do your Naruto couples have?

So ... context first.

I have a thing about the amount of siblings, or lack thereof, in media. Especially in media set in a time when child mortality was a much more pressing issue than it is now. The fact that nearly all of our main characters and even side characters are only children annoys me.

Like I get the whole 'friends who are more like siblings' thing is a big selling point, for a lot of people but anyone who has siblings will tell you it's different with a sibling. I also get from a story point of view that to give their characters all siblings, which is more typical of real life, would bloat character rosters something fierce and we all know Naruto doesn't need more characters.

But I hate how little positive representation we have of siblings in Naruto so I don't care about that lol.

I also laugh in the face of anyone who thinks the Naruto cast aren't fucking constantly and that will inevitably lead to lots of babies lol. Especially in a post-war society. The Baby Boomers are numerous for a reason lol.

So on that note here are some numbers, I shall give you names too if I have them. Some I have stolen.

NaruSaku - They definitely have at least four. In age order: Sachi, Ichika, Yuuto and Akihiko. I am considering a fifth. Watch this space. The amount of kids isn't deliberate, they're just really bad with getting caught up in the moment and forgetting contraceptives. Only Akihiko was actually planned. And the fifth child if they happen will be a decided shock. And in Canon!AUs where NaruSaku get together young? Sachi was an unexpected, before they got married, surprise. Think no older than twenty-two.

KibaHina - Six. Kiba and Hinata build up a whole generation of Inuzuka on their own. There's one set of twins but I'm not sure on genders for the kids, expect a healthy mix.

NejiTen - Two. Hideki and a daughter who is hinted at in the epilogue to the Wedding AU. Might give them a third, we'll see.

ShikaTema - Three. I've not got names, I know there's at least one boy and he follows the naming convention of his father and grandfather.

SaiIno - Two. Inojin is a name I have flat out stolen, I don't care, I like the name. They also have a daughter.

KakaAnko - At least two. The eldest daughter is called Rei.

ChouKaru - At least one. She is not called Cho-Cho lol.

SasuKarin - Runs the gamut from one to seven dependent on the world. In a world where Sasuke isn't a dick and it's a Canon!AU? Well he needs to rebuild the clan and this is how you do that. With babies. In a world where he's a shithead, well he did his next shitty thing where he knocked Karin up and fucked off. In a world where he's not a shithead but it's a modern!AU? Two or three.

And just for a little flavour lol, in my Modern!AUs it's quite common for me to make the Rain Orphans related to Minato and/or Kushina as their older siblings or cousins. In the Uni!AU for example, Jiraiya and Tsunade are the parents of four kids, Yahiko, Nagato, Konan and Minato lol. And it's relatively common for me to make the Bijuu related to their canon container. Kurama is Naruto's older sister in the Uni!AU, Shukaku is Gaara's cousin, Matatabi is Yugito's sister. You get the idea.
