Serena grew up in Fontaine with her mother. Her father was absent throughout her life, and all she knew about him was that he was a man from Snezhnaya. Her mother was a world-renown gliding champion, boasting many prestigious awards and trophies from Mondstat’s competitions when she was younger. Many people in Fontaine knew Grace for her feats, and eyes were on Serena from a very young age to continue her mother’s legacy.

While Serena adored her mother and wanted to be kind and compassionate like her, she wasn’t sure if she wanted to travel to Mondstat just for gliding. She had aspirations to travel, curious about the world around her, but continuing on a championship legacy like her mother wasn’t part of that. The idea of letting those around her down was crippling, and left her feeling extremely conflicted internally. Serena would practice gliding around Fontaine, and seeing how happy and full of pride people were seeing her take after her mother only made those feelings of internal conflict deepen. On one hand, she could make everyone happy, but she wouldn’t know that happiness for herself. On the other, she could do what she wanted and disappoint those around her.

Grace always made it clear that she wanted Serena to do what made her happy, but Serena was impressionable when she was young. Having all eyes on her made her nervous.

At age 13, she was coming back to the city after a late night practice session with gliding. If it hadn’t begun to pour down rain, she would have stayed even later. In the cover of darkness and rain, she would be attacked by a group of hilichurls. It was unusual for them to be so near the city, but the weather had made the guards slack a bit on their duties. With little to defend herself with, she could only hope that something would make it stop.

There was a flash, and Serena unleashed a flurry of ice and snow that froze the hilichurls in their tracks. A cryo vision rest on the grass beneath her, and without much of a thought, she quickly snatched it up and ran into the safety of the city, notifying the guards of the attack before rushing home.

Serena was quick to show her mom the vision she had been bestowed, telling her everything that happened. It was then that Grace would show her daughter how to fight and survive, ordering a special polearm for her 14th birthday. As Grace had been a traveler and adventurer herself, she was able to give Serena survival advice and knowledge, and also helped her with her vision, being an anemo vision holder herself.

Grace made it clear that if Serena wanted to go out into the world, that she should do so and ignore those around her who said otherwise. Serena had spent most of her life adhering to what others wanted. She spent so much time in her childhood gliding, despite her mother telling her she didn’t need to. All she ever had growing up was Grace, and if the woman she cared so much for continually told her to forge her own path, then it was time to do so. She was only getting older and older, and the world of Teyvat was vast.

Headcanons for Yvonne Cryos

Yvonne is a girl who enthusiasm for books and knowledge. So she befriend to Sophia, Rozebelle and Claire. Except for them, Yvonne also make friends with Erika as they are live in same country, Sakura Imperial. Also Erika's creative poems impressed her.

Though she care about to studying, Yvonne knowing to take a break and hang out with friends or spare time to her family.

Yvonne is a shy and smart girl who less to talking with face-to-face and most of chat by using technology gadgets. She is even seemingly cowardly at times.

She is serious when the situation calls for it and takes her tasks and duties seriously, regardless of what people may think of her.

According to Techneige students, Yvonne can be scary sometimes, that shown her fast ice summoning abilities.

Her stepfather is a retired coach. Thanks to him, Yvonne is very good at archery and fencing. She has a silver rapier she oftens take around.

Yvonne owns a white bear named Snow. He become a gate guardian of Techneige, since he stick around Yvonne entered in the school on the day of the enrollment.

According to Sophia, Yvonne oftens shown as a big sister to people if it is a victim.

She also mentioned that Yvonne wakes up with bad waking day every morning, and has a bad temper.

Yvonne likes preppy style despite of her family traditional only allowed for classic and Chinese tradition.

Depending on fashion style, Yvonne strongly refused to wear exotic clothing whatever it is asked by one of the prevert fans, she flatly refused. Due to, she didn't want ruining the reputation of herself and her family by wearing these.

For her room, Yvonne opted for a modern aesthetic rather than retro-futurism. She mentioned herself because her room should be comfortable and more homely.

She has less interested with boys and doesn't like to interact with. Rumored she has a deep trauma about how boys do to her at the past. But it actually because of her biological father who was cheated on her mother with his lover, a prostitute who currently is Yvonne's step-mother.

For the reason, Yvonne ignored the boys, even never listened their words. She is also believe all of them are dating cheaters, instead of loyal boyfriends.

- very much a worry wart, and the cautious type. Loves all of those around him, including his brother (even though Blanc doesn't like him very much). overthinks and prepares for almost every situation

- very much acts like a mother to all of his patrons. Mitsuki frequents his business and helps him around the district, even if she doesn't partake in the drugs herself

- Mitsuki doesn't have the armstrength to carry him though when he passes out lol. usually calls Yvonne if Aloa is too heavy to carry

- plans out and directs festivals and events, including the infamous Windblume Festival

- two big, bright, yellowish-blonde pigtails, no bangs but does have side strands, light brown eyes, chubby, tanned peach skin. 5'3".

- really hyper. istg she doesn't stop talking

- has incredible arm strength; lifts weights (and carries Aloa when they pass out)

- one of Mitsuki's friends, and her most loyal cheerleader. obsessed with social media, and is a popular youtuber

- records Mitsuki's gliding performances, and runs her ultimate fan page account

- wants mitsuki to become a popular singer and idol/performer, but mitsuki is kinda hesitant to do so (she eventually does though)

- can't always read the situation (and neither can Mitsuki so it's okay lol)

- honestly people are surprised she isn't a pyro user, but she just wants an eternity of happiness and glory

- the oldest and wisest of the main cast. the head nun at the Mondstadtia Cathedral.

- has slightly wavy, light green hair, in a high ponytail. Bangs are flat, thin and choppy, ending over her eyebrows. Eyes are gentle, and irises are the same, light green color. Skin is a milky brown color. 5'7", has a bit of a boney, mature structure

- very much calm and quiet. Fully devotes her life to Lullabene and Celestia, and is very loyal to Celestism in general

- is the only one that knows Mitsuki's true identity, up until Mondstadtia is freed and becomes an actual society

- shares a similar view with Mitsuki in that they enjoy living within the confines of Mondstadtia, but Serena thinks that it's a good thing they can't physically go to the outside world

- the outside world houses people much worse than those who live within Mondstadtia's walls. She wants to keep the Mondstadt school as pure and safe as she can

- very much philosophical, and gets along with Mitsuki for that

- also if they do decide they have something to say, it's going to be blunt and to the point

- sometimes her philosophy rants and worries about the meaning of life ward others away from her

- as stated before, she very much gets along with Mitsuki because they are both seen as "weird" people in Mondstadtia due to their personalities and conducts

- very much strict and distrusting. takes a lot of time to build up trust with it, snooty

- but once you do, she's really helpful and nice, especially with studying

- generally a good person. Only appears strict because she's looking out for those she cares about

- knows too much ngl. If you're doing an investigation, guaranteed it's heard something

- too much gossip happens in her library anyway. Doesn't matter how quiet it is, she's going to hear it

- takes things personally, can overall be a prickly person. Even if you are on good terms with it, be careful what words you choose to say around it

- the first character that's not apart of the Peace Betallion 🤩 (all of the others before this are apart of the Peace Betallion)

- has medium-length, light, platinum blonde hair. Tied into a high ponytail, bangs and hair edges are jagged. Skin is also pale peach (despite being outside so much), and eyes are a ruby red. Generally thin, slightly muscular (but a lot less muscular than Blanc)

- one of those idiot sporty kids that causes trouble in the basement

- freakishly tall for a Freshman (5'10"), and got held back a year before the anemo barrier set in

- always getting into gang fights, but Aloa heals him up afterwards with his pharmaceuticals 🥺

- Aloa doesn't report him bc he likes him too much (and wants one of his regulars to stay around)

- basically the neighborhood delinquent. Extremely sarcastic and has dark humor, which both Aloa and Mitsuki surprisingly like

- the three of them are basically buddies

- also not a genshin member, so he had to be educated on genshin by Mitsuki and Aloa lol

Aria Quassem (Euthece) ~

- hydro archon of the Fontaine school (Fontanelle). makes it known that she is the archon and will have democracy in her nation for true justice to preside

- genshin member, has been playing since December of 2020

- hair looks like yelan's but more wavy (which is ironic bc this oc existed long before yelan did but it's the best way to describe her hair). same shade and everything guys

- her eyes though are a light icy blue, and her skin is like a light almond color. Has similar yelan-like physique too, and she's like 5'10" (although she's got a smaller rack rip)

- very much done with life. speaks and looks like she's dead inside, unless it's justice ig??

- when she's talking about the welfare of her kingdom she talks like a typical ruler does (in a quite demanding way)

- I haven't decided much on the Fontaine school yet though, so not much else is known about her and her role in Fontanelle society

- I have decided a few things though, like what the Fontaine school looks like after they are freed from the school's confines and build their own society (spoiler alert it's underwater)

- just in general she is very big on justice and is done with everyone's crap

Valeria

Crown Princess of Elemental Kingdom and the second daughter of royal Roxia Family.

She is a half-wolf and fairy hybrid inherited from her ancestors

She and her elder stepsister have a relationship that is not compatible with jealousy.

Still, she and her stepbrother had a pleasant relationship and friendship.

She had magically-gifted of talking animals like her mother. Also she had a half-power which inherited from her grandfather.

Unlike some princesses who's been spoiled by themselves and always using money for saving their life, Valeria was kind, elegance, meek, with a motherly personality though she was a part of royal family.

She has suffered from photophobia since she was a child and has not been cured yet.

Although she suffers from this phobia, she can still walk under direct sunlight.

Miraculously, her soul could feel the puppet talking to her, especially the cat-hand puppet, and asked those rumored to give her a nickname, "Dark Princess", because Valeria's appearance reminded them of the Dark Prince who's half- russian and japanese. Regardless of looks and preferences, they both are exactly the same.

She has this ability because she was "cursed" by the Black Witch when she was born, and her family was also held a christening for her.

Everyone was worried that the enchanted princess wanted to destroy the country at the age of sixteen. So her family didn't have an idea to protect their precious baby, and gave Valeria to three women living in a cottage in the forest, and stayed there until she was 16 years old to return her birthplace.

In the past 16 years, she was well taught by her adoptive aunts and learned survival skills. Then on her 16th birthday, she returned to her hometown with three aunts and lived with her family.

Valeria's singing vocal sounded like a nightingale, and when she went into the forest to pick berries and started to vocalizing, the animals always sang with her.

Sophia

The princess of Jasper Kingdom and the eldest daughter of royal Redstone Family.

She is the only princess, and people in the kingdom pity her every day, because every time they hear that she is always bullied by her father, stepmother, and stepbrothers.

Of course, but they didn't know that she was been suffered to it a lot and wished she can out of the palace and make her own kingdom at other places.

She lost her biological mother when she was three years old, and then her father remarried a woman from a wealthy noble family as her stepmother.

She is intelligent, wise, creative, kind and courageous princess in Jasper Kingdom.

She is good at inventing mechanical objects and wanted to use for protect her kingdom, but she didn't want to tell it to her family because her father always said to her, "A princess is forbidden to be elegance, grace and beauty, and most importantly, have to follow the royal rules strictly. Also you can't doing things that those commoner do. "

Like Valeria, Sophia can sing, but only when she feels good, singing privately in her bedroom without anyone else notice. Her vocals are in light lyric soprano range, unlike Valeria.

The only person who cares about Sophia is Renard Azurinova. He is the royal general of the kingdom. He has sympathy for Sophia and treats her like his own daughter, although the eyes in his soul are more fierce like a lion.

Yvonne

The eldest daughter of royal Cryos Family, the Crown Princess of Mélodie Kingdom (but it's delisted) and the Queen of Mélodie Kingdom and Nymph Valley (after she got proposed).

She is a half-blood of half ice elves, but her family and the inhabitants of the kingdom don't like her because they think the hybrids are monsters and they're evil and unfriendly.

Her grandfather was assassinated by her step-brother and her memory was erased. After the death of her grandfather, her father inherited the next emperor of the kingdom, Yvonne was delisted from her father after she was released from the dungeon for 5 years.

She has an ex-boyfriend, he is the son of a noble family. He and Yvonne are a perfect couple with true love and start to dating through years but one day she learned that he and her stepsister had cheated and broke up on the same day that her grandfather in the grave.

On the same day, she was innocently thrown into the dungeon by her father's order because her step-siblings lied to their parents after killing her grandfather and erasing Yvonne's memory.

She was once called a princess, but after she was delisted and became a commoner, no one did not know her. So Yvonne decided to stay in the forest and build a small house herself to live in.

She rescued the dark-skinned man after she was collect the firewoods from the forest. And she found that the man she rescued was Eric Lila, the Crown Prince of Nymph Valley.

After that, she and Eric lived in the cottage for many years, until Eric proposed to her to become his queen, but Yvonne did not agree to early marriage because she still wanted to avenge her family for herself and her grandfather.

In each of her missions, she felt that someone was following her until she found out that Eric was trying to help her avenge her without noticing. So she decided to let Eric join the team and follow her leadership.

After revenge, she regained the title of princess, ruled the kingdom, protected the people, and avenged her grandfather.

Through the 4 years, she proposal to Eric decidedly and had Blanc and Ashlyn Lila. Also she regained as the Queen of the two kingdom, Mélodie Kingdom and Nymph Valley.
