Jessica Walsh

Jessica Walsh est designer graphique et entrepreneure. Son intérêt pour le design s’est manifesté très jeune alors qu’elle concevait des sites internet grâce au «coding». Jessica Walsh a étudié le graphisme à l’école de design de Rhode Island, puis a effectué un stage chez Pentagram, une célèbre agence de design basée, entre-autre, à New-York. Walsh fut ensuite directrice artistique pour le magazine Print et a présenté plusieurs créations dans le New York Times. Lors de son parcours, Jessica Walsh fut reconnue par Stefan Sagmeister et ensemble, ils travailleront sur une collaboration en cabinet. De son désir de voir davantage de femme en tête d’entreprises, Walsh fonde sa propre agence de design en 2019. Son agence se compose principalement de femmes et se spécialise en publicité et en image de marque. Le studio prône les causes sociales qui leur tiennent à cœur à travers leurs créations.

De nos jours, en plus de faire partie de son équipe dynamique et créative de l’agence &Wash, Jessica Walsh enseigne le design ainsi que la typographie à l’école des Arts visuels de New York. Son agence est sa plus grande réalisation. Chaque jour, elle se consacre à son travail; elle effectue des recherches d’inspirations dans son temps libre, dirige des campagnes de publicité en compagnie de son mari (directeur de la photographie) Zak Mulligan, elle s’occupe de ses comptes personnels et professionnels (celui de Jessica Walsh et celui de &Walsh) et elle fait des appels importants. Jessica Walsh n’a pas d’unique création l’ayant amenée où elle se trouve. C’est son parcours et ses collaborations qui ont fait d’elle l’artiste reconnue qu’elle est. On peut retrouver son travail à plusieurs endroits, comme dans ses cours, sur Instagram, sur Behance, sur le site web de &Walsh, sur Facebook, Google, etc.
