* spoilers ahead for tears of the kingdom*
So I was playing the storyline quests and found out what happened to Zelda and my first thought was if she is the light dragon who the hell are the other 3 and I'm pretty sure they are like Zelda since mineru was talking about how swallowing the stones turns you into a beast and you lose your self like this is a given fact which I took to mean this has happened before. And I am much more interested in what the hell happened to those 3 people who became the dagons

I finished a crack in time today. I thought it was very fun the story was good. BUT. I do have some very minor issues with the end part of the story.
Ratchet's death was too hurried. He dies then there's two seconds of platforming then clank brings him back. Make it longer!!! I understand that they probably didn't wanna have the main character be dead for too long because. Kids. But then why do that in the first place. (There's probably some reason behind this one though idk it)
What happened to azimuth's body. Did the zoni take it away? They fixed the clock what did they do with him?
Where's orvus? He just disappeared. Whadda hell. (This one feels like something they'll address in a later game though so not a huge complaint. Though I don't remember him being mentioned a ton in rift apart?)
This one's entirely personal preference but I kinda wish there were more time puzzles. I loved those.
Also personal preference and I understand they had to end it on a positive note but I kinda wish ratchet got some lines about what azimuth meant to him. Though I'm not really sure when they'd put this in and it might break the flow of story. Insomniac hire me.
Also. Also. Where's the boost jump. once you get clank back there's no gameplay change at all (apart from the time bombs but I literally never used them.) Going from tod to acit you really feel the absence of the boost jump and I like that. Immersion. But when you get him back there's no change. (This is such a minor detail it's like. Ridiculous to complain about.)

So while ago, I had to think “what could I do to make my Organic!Orvus’s life even harder......I’ll take his fucking arm off.”
And then I drew it with this (#2) as a reference
So basically, an organic running the Great Clock is dangerous as hell. Something bad was gonna happen eventually. He tried to take out a Teratrope nest on his own and long story short, he lost his arm to the pesky little shits. So a flexible and multi-purpose prosthetic one was made by the Zoni. So there you go, that’s what happened.
And also he’s wearing such a dad outfit. I just thought he would look good in it. And he does.

Would Kit have the same connection to the zoni in this universe?
Personal headcanon time: I think she does, tbh.
Not only does she have the signature blue Zoni glow and a personality similar - but not exactly like - Clank's and Orvus', and has the same dimensional abilities as Clank, but she has a similar serial number setup like Clank's.
Clank's: XJ-0461
Kit's: KT-7461
Hell, they have the same last three digits in their serial numbers. Given Zoni are interdimensional beings, I don't doubt Kit has a similar Zoni origin to Clank.
To what exact she's connected to the Zoni... that I'm less sure of. I have my own ideas that I'm implementing in my fix-it fic, but I don't know about canon. We may have to wait for the sequel to Rift Apart to learn that.
But going into my ideas would start breaching into Rift Apart where we'd start bringing in Clank again and is a story in-and-of itself, lol

Hell’s (Angels) OG
Tumblr media
First comes on with a weightiness in the head and a zony, suppressed vibe. Movement feels slow and delayed. As it sets in there’s a wonderful relaxation that is so physically soothing it causes your shoulders to drop. Good for body medication. Really entertaining watching and listening to stuff. Short attention span makes things unpredictable and impactful. There’s a good sense of humor, too, even though the high is too heavy for socializing. The sedating aspects limits its uses, but it’s still nice for what it does. I wouldn’t seek out again.

Finally, Orvus got a new outfit! No more of that hoodie and cape thing!
Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Amber, why the hell is Orvus wearing a bandana? He’s not a hoodlum or some cool kid”, and you’re right, it is weird for him to be wearing a bandana. But the reason I gave it to him was a headcanon I came up for him.
The two ring markings on his head symbolize that he’s an independent Zoni, and therefore part of the line of leader Zoni. Because of his failure at protecting the Great Clock, Orvus does his best to keep those markings covered until he can redeem himself as a leader. The only time he uncovers them is when he goes to bed or simply wants the item on his head off.
Besides, I think he looks kinda cute in it. Also, no, he’s still not putting on shoes. These black sock things are better than those black bands, though.

Ratchet and Clank: Back to the Nexus (Chapter 01: p2)
Cosmic energy erupted from the container, splintering the close air. Almost instantaneously, the energy charged toward the lifeless body in the preservation tank. Glass burst open. Fluid spilled onto the floor. Screams from withering Zoni needled at Sriva’s eardrums.
She let go of the Zoni Vessel. Her wiry arms shook. Clenching her fists to stiffen out the trembling, she stepped back from the now empty container at her feet as the last of that magnificent energy seeped into Alister’s body.
And then the silence descended. Seconds pulled by, each one poking at her sanity as she transfixed on the still limp Lombax. Then—the electricity hummed back to life. The overhead lamp buzzed on.
Alister’s chest rose and sank. Shallow at first. But soon becoming more regular.
Swallowing the dryness in her throat, Sriva cautiously approached the shattered tank, careful not to slip on the pool of fluid drizzling through the floorboards. “General…Azimuth?” she murmured and extended a hand to touch the Lombax. He’d aged considerably since she last saw him almost three decades ago. But Lombaxes aged well—specifically Azimuths, it seemed, and he was no exception.
Alister’s eyes snapped open. Sriva pulled back just in time before the white Lombax lurched upwards in a panic. Ears high. Pupils only slits. Incisors bared at the nothingness in front of him. “Where…the fuck…am I!?” he snarled. His angular head swung to his right; his eyes widened in a way that sent Sriva back another step. While truly brilliant and exquisite creatures, Lombaxes were naturally aggressive and prone to lashing out when experiencing high levels of panic.
“Alister, my name is Dr. Sriva Yauvani. I’m a physicist and…” she hesitated…then, finally, muttered, “Lombax specialist—or…I was, I’m afraid.” At that she offered a sort of half-smile. It felt strange on her, like it didn’t belong.
“Huh, yeah, whatever. Am I in hell?” Alister examined himself, pupils still shrunk, tail thrashing. “And what is this shit all over my fur?” he demanded, twitching in disgust at the slimy preservation fluid drenching his coat.
“No. You’re in my hut. I brought you back,” Sriva answered. Though the Lombax hadn’t calmed down quite yet, she drew close and ever-so slowly touched his right ear. It flinched sensitively.
There was a splitting snarl, and in what seemed like barely a second, Sriva found herself pinned to the floorboards with the massive Lombax towering above her. His incisors gleamed menacingly in the dim lamplight. “Why?!” Alister barked in her face. His large, muscled hands gripped her neck tighter until she began to croak. “I was dead! I wanted to be dead and you—” he ran out of breath for a second— “And you…by some…fucking sorcery…brought me back, when I should’ve stayed dead—!”
Sriva tried to swallow. “I needed you alive—your kind needs you alive!” she felt his grip lighten by a finger or two. With shallow breaths, Sriva reached up to him, brushed her knuckle against his nose so he could take in her scent. Alister instinctively nuzzled her fingers, sniffed, then recoiled his head. It was hard for Sriva not to smile at the familiar way he twitched his ears. It’d been a long time since she’d seen Lombax expression. “I’ve received transmissions…” Sriva went on. “Cries for help from another dimension.” Carefully, she opened her palm and touched his cheek. Alister flinched. “The Lombaxes…they’re searching for a way back.”

KING BROTHERS (JAP) live am 04.05. auf der MS HEDI - präsentiert von WILDWAX SHOWS!!!
“If Jon Spencer took roots rock ’n’ roll and deconstructed it, then Nishinomiya’s King Brothers threw it against a wall and left it there bleeding.” Metropolis Magazine enthuses. Nishinomiya City, Japan, three-piece combining the sound of the Germs backing Howlin’ Wolf. I-94 Bar Magazin calls “turning the blues inside-out.”
The band is Keizo Matsuo on guitar, harp and vocals, Masafumi “Marya” Koyama on guitar and Zony on drums. The band came together in 1997 and has proved one of Japan’s most durable rock outfits, backing the likes of Jon Spencer, the White Stripes and Strokes in their tours of the country. The NYC connection goes further as it was Jon Spencer who produced earlier albums and Matt Verta-Ray who recorded those same albums. Their self-titled debut album hit the streets in 1998. The band made its major label debut in Japan on Toshiba EMI in 2001 before they sign to “In The Red” the same year. This two guitar and drums trio cramps toxic punk rock, barbed-wire blues and wrestled with fuzzed-out noise. The groove has never been stronger.
It’s no surprise that the King Brothers live shows get attention. Taking to the stage dressed in what have become their trade mark black and white suits, the three piece who hails from Nishinomiya City, Japan appear amaze audiences with their insanely energetic stage act. Within a matter of seconds all hell breaks loose as they burst into life; a cacophony of guitars, vocals and drums smashing into the fans at full tilt. The King Brothers are known as the most dangerous act in Japan, having had themselves banned from nearly every club in Osaka for destroying property.
