"Oh hello? Are you here for someone?" Alma asked smiling at the children of prominent and influential families in their community. She did not know why they were at her door but she was not going to be on anything but her best behavior with them around.

"We came to visit our friend if that is alright Dona." The son of the villages doctor outside of Julieta said adjusting his glasses a bit.

"Oh that is perfectly fine. I just wasn't expecting you is all. Please please come in." Alma said waving them in and wondering which of her grandkids were friends with these boys. Probably her perfect Isabela.

"We wanted to surprise her." Two of the boys, the twin sons of the seamstress in town if she wasn't mistaken, said grinning.

Alma merely chuckled and waved them all in. Of course her Isabela had made friends with the sons of the wealthiest and most influential. She expected nothing less.

"Please make yourselves at home. I'll be-"

"Guys?!" The voice from the kitchen made Alma frown. Mirabel. Why was she on the kitchen and why did she seem shocked? Surely she knew of her sister's friends.

"Mira!" The influential boys all brightened up and swept past Alma to go and greet Mirabel.

"Oh if it isn't the smelly apes." Another person was standing beside Mirabel, two more flanking the taller girl. Almas eyes widened.

Why were the daughters of three families just as influential as the boys here? And with Mirabel?

"Oh great it's the Zuka club." Alma hears one of the twins mutter under his breath.

The tallest boy was striding towards Mirabel with a purpose and Alma watched as the son of the head captain gently cradled Mirabels face.

"You're injured. Who did it?" The boy asked his voice deep and solemn. Instantly all of the boys looked alert and pissed.

"Wait she's hurt?"

"Is that why didn't meet up with us in town?"

"Who hurt my beloved Mirabel!?"

"Hm."

"Are you okay Mira?"

Alma watched as the boys fussed over Mirabel in detached shock while she gave an amused sigh and reassured them she was fine and it wasn't anything to worry about.

"I think a grown man your mother's age belting you in the face and breaking your jaw is something to worry about Angel. But at least the Zuka club was there to help and get some justice done on the man. Unlike you boys." The tall girl said and a smaller blond girl that Alma vaguely recognized as the daughter of the fruit seller, the biggest produce producer and seller, was already poking Mirabel into eating another arepa.

"Give me a name." The shortest boy, wasn't he supposed to be a fighting prodigy? He was the son of the security corps..he looked so young..., Said and his voice was cold and stern.

How...how did her giftless useless granddaughter know these children of prominent families?!

She was so surprised when she saw them gushing over her. Absolutely floored. Like omg, the giftless one has friends, who are very influential 😦 how dare she!1!!!11! Surprised she didn’t: realize befor,e but then again, she pays pretty little attention to her, so there’s that. Host club and Zuka club def compete for Mirabel’s attention and she’s just like “all of y’all are my friends”.

Istg if Alma tries something, Imma put her on a shirt 😩

As Mirabel was being fussed over by both the Host Club and Zuka Club, Alma thought hard for a moment, before she ultimately backed out of the room, leaving the group of teenagers alone.

"Really, I'm fine! Beni, Suzu and Hina took care of him and I ate some of my mama's food! So I'll be fine," Mirabel said as Suzuran placed yet another arepa into her hand.

"Fine. But if I find out who did this to you, I won't spare him," Honey said darkly, before he suddenly perked back up and hugged Mirabel tightly.

"Hm yes...anyway. We've actually come on another occasion. We need to discuss your party that's in 8 months." Kyoya said, looking down at a couple pieces of paper he had on him.

"Party?" Mirabel asked curiously.

"Yes. Your quinceañera of course. We need to know the theme so we can be properly dressed and what time so we can arrive on time." Kyoya said, slightly confused at how Mirabel seemed to surprised at what he said.

"Ah...about that. I don't...I don't think I'll be getting one." Mirabel said, visually dejected.

"WHAT?!" Almost all of them yelled out, save for Mori, but even he look shocked.

"What do you mean you won't be getting one?!" Benio said, hands on her hips as she stared at Mirabel.

"Well...my family is just so busy, and no one ever stuck around to plan with me in the past 2 years. You guys are actually the only ones outside of mi papa and Toñito to ask. But it's ok! They're always so busy, so I'll just have to have a small party or something..." Mirabel tried her best to look optimistic, but it was clear to those surrounding her that she was genuinely hurt.

"We'll plan it." Tamaki said and all eyes were on him. "We'll do all the planning to your liking and we'll get everything ready in time. I will not let you go without a quince. It is a right of passage, and you deserve it more than anyone."

"W-What? You don't have to do that, it's way too much, I couldn't accept that! I couldn't pay you back, there's the food, the dress, the party decorations...and Abuela will never let it happen at Casita," Mirabel frowned, panic present in her voice.

"Well we handle the location." Kyoya said, adjusting his glasses. "Mori, Honey, could you ask the captain if he could have the town square cleared for March 6th?" Mori nodded and Honey enthusiastically gave a thumbs up.

"I can handle the food catering," Suzuran said, flipping her blond hair. "I'll just ask my parents to help cater to the party, it shouldn't be a problem."

"And I can handle your cake! My father is the best baker in the village, so we can go back to my place together and plan it out." Hinako said, smiling gently at Mirabel.

"But...there's the decorations and..." Mirabel trailed off when she noticed Tamaki perk up.

"Have you met me? My precious Mirabel, I'll take care of that. You just choose a theme and I'll have it done like that," he said, snapping his fingers.

"Well...I won't be able to finish my dress on time! I have to tend to Casita and do other stuff, I only have the design written down," Mirabel argued, trying to refute her friends' attempts to give her a party out of guilt.

The twins laughed, throwing their arms over Mirabel. "That'll be no problem! We can got your dress," Hikaru said, pinching Mirabel's cheek.

"Our mom loves you, and once she hears that you need a quince dress, she'll put it at the top of her projects list. Just hand over the design and we'll have our mother make it," Kaoru finished, pinching her other cheek.

"I...I don't have a court," Mirabel said slowly.

"We'll be your court," Tamaki said, pulling a rose from God knows where, and tucking it gingerly into Mirabel's ear, sweep her into a ballroom like dance. "We'll be the best court, better than any of your cousin or sisters'," Tamaki, letting Mirabel go, her landing right back into the center of the group. Both the Host and Zuka club might be rivals, but they were willing to put that aside if it meant Mirabel could be happy.

"For music we'll ask the local band to play, and as for your first dance and changing of shoes, we'll inform your father of what will be happening, along with your cousin, Antonio." Kyoya said as wrote something down. "You may inform your other...family...if you wish, but its ultimately up to you."

The girl stuttered, trying to find words as she looked among the Host and Zuka Club members. Tears welled up in her eyes and they were all over her again as she cried into her hands.

"Why are you crying little Angel?" Benio said, moving to wipe the tears from Mirabel's eyes.

"I'm...I'm just so happy and grateful...no one's ever done something this nice for me before," Mirabel whimpered, sniffling. "Thank you! So much..." She said before sobbing harder, and both of the groups smilied as they continued to comfort the girl.
