Меня снова, спустя много лет затянуло в ДДЛС, и честно сказать, я увидел в нём куда больше чем при первом знакомстве в далёком 2017.

Тогда я, будучи ещё большим микрочеликом (где-то сантиметра два с половиной) воспринимал игру как просто набор стрёмных четверостенных приколов, с очень долгим прологом, который я скипал чтобы добраться до "мяса".

А так как мясо у нас основное поставляла Моника, она же была моим безоговорочно любимым персонажем.

Сейчас же, посмотрев на игру новым взглядом, я куда больше тяготею к Сайори, а вторая половина первого акта, постепенно подводящая к её неумолимой смерти, является едва ли не любимой моей частью игры.

P.S: я подозреваю, что за столько лет в фандоме всем висельные шутки уже осточертели, но я просто не смог удержаться.

Можно сказать, что такие шутки являются низковесящим фруктом :p

Now, after giving the game a fresh look, I am much more drawn towards Sayori, and the second half of the first act, gradually leading to her inevitable death, is almost my favorite part of the game. About peak fiction (eng below)

Я тут подумал, и мне не нравится фраза пик фикшен.

Потому что, во первых, она подразумевает, что в искусстве в целом есть какой-то пик качества, выше которого пойти нельзя.

А во вторых, из-за того что эту фразу кидают направо и налево, любая другая похвала ощущается на её фоне будто чем-то меньшим. Этакая лингвистическая инфляция комплиментов, где комплименты которые не называют работу потолочной уже и не кажутся такими крутыми. Как в обзорах, где почему-то вдруг средней оценкой стала 7 вместо 5, только в среде слов и языка.

Тут буквально фраза Синдрома из Суперсемейки - если все десять из десяти, то никто не десять из десяти. ---

I've been thinking for a bit, and I don't like the phrase peak fiction.

Because, firstly, it implies that in art as a whole there is some peak of quality that you can't go above.

And secondly, because this phrase is thrown around left and right, any other praise feels like something lesser compare to it. A kind of linguistic inflation of compliments, where compliments that don't call the work top of the top don't seem so cool anymore. Like in reviews, where for some reason the average rating suddenly became 7 instead of 5, only in the environment of words and language.

This is literally Syndrome's phrase from The Incredibles - if everyone is ten out of ten, then no one is ten out of ten.

Left Hand. And as a representative of the Left Hands we have the antagonist, protagonist and one of the central focuses of the third season of Design, Circe Parson (whom I still want to call Circy Price every time)

I have long had the idea that when Circy from the second timeline becomes the Left Hand, she will use saws as a weapon, but she will hold them not with her hands, but with matter distortions a little further from her hands.

You know, I've been having more and more vibes of the 2018-2019 lately, which for me were somewhat legendary. I was still a kid, I was watching YouTube, which worked like shit, I was hell of into Undertale, I was actively bickering on some forum about measuring the strength of fictional characters, I just got first real group of friends on the Internet, where we were also constantly bickering. And I was sitting in front of my old computer/phone/tablet, with my feet on the table, curled up typing something.

I even have a specific moment pop into my head - I was sitting up at night visiting my grandmother, sitting on the big….. uh, whatever it is that's in front of the windows. windowsill, yeah - sitting on a big windowsill, texting with my friends on Discord, and to the side of me, in the window, I could see a perfectly clear sky filled with stars. And in that moment I thought "wow, this is a moment I'll be remembering in a bunch of years". Little Ten, you were right.

Anyway, you know what, I'm gonna go watch some Undertale videos instead of all of this and that.
