I am annoyed by the TikTok miraculous fandom being unaware of the tumblr side because so often I’ll see comics reposted (buggachats vampire au just today) and people will be asking for a part 2 or more and I’m like, well there might not be a part 2 to this thing just yet but there is a wealth of other art to find on TUMBLR where you can support the ORIGINAL ARTIST OR WRITER

Like some are decent enough to credit in the description but no one reads descriptions. So often reposts get more traction than the original poster sharing it there too. It’s just so awful

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .

for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...

As someone who is somewhat of a “veteran” of the online ND community, I’m disappointed in the lack of positivity and love for lesser known diverse cognitive conditions, and the opposing abundance of posts about “cures” or outdated criteria or treatments for those conditions. Just left an “autistic researchers researching autism” group after repeated disableist microaggressions which I kept calling out and calling out to no avail.

The straw that broke the metaphorical camel’s back was “people with Down’s Syndrome looking ‘dumb’” and “I think ADHD is Big Pharma selling Diet Meth” in the same fucking post 🤬.

The acceptability of disableism against intellectually/learning disabled people fucking *everywhere*, including amongst other disabled people, makes me want to fucking yeet everything into the Sun on a regular basis.

The growth of “anti-medication” and conspiracy rhetoric in a way that harms marginalised people as opposed to uniting people against fucking exploitative corporations makes me literally scream in rage daily.

It makes it harder to discuss the *very fucking real* issues with pharmaceutical corporations, eg raising the price of vital medications year on year to prices that are killing people, and failing to research vital shit like new antibiotics because it’s not likely to make them the vast profits they demand.

Nader @abdalsalam2000 is in Gaza during an internet blackout, he and his family are in serious danger and they can’t communicate it to the world because the internet is cut off and e-sims are very slow. He’s a 17 year old boy who is fundraising to support his family of eight, including his father who is sick with cancer and needs treatment. Please help me share his story while he is away. i’ve only briefly heard from him in the past few days, and the situation is extremely dangerous. He doesn’t have the ability to reach out to people how he usually would, so I hope you will help me share his story and do that for him while he’s away
