DP X DC Multiverse is a B!tch and a Halfa

So, we've all read the fics where Danny is from a different world where there are no supers, or where there is the Justice League but they either got ignored or communication was cut off. Why not both? Danny's Universe is in the INJUSTICE universe. Could explain why the show feels somewhat cut off, why the things Maddie and Jack do are looked at as weird and not "Oh gods, those are evil scientists!!", and why Vlad can get away with so much (even if we all know Money talks). Could explain why the Ghost Investigation Ward are fairly unchecked too. They're doing GOOD, they're cleaning up messes and trying to contain a hooligan! So, Danny, and everyone else, have experienced the Justice League of the Injustice universe. Have learned not to trust them, have learned to close off from the world in some sense. Why arouse awareness to these issues and have Superman 'clean up' your town? And so, Danny and Pariah Dark fight, Danny wins, and his town is 'returned' home!!... Except it's not home. It's not THEIR universe/timeline! It's the other timeline where the Injustice Timeline never happened. But they're in a small town, they're not going to notice too much, not when they came back from the Infinite Realms and little Danny Fenton is really Danny Phantom! And with no GIW around, Jack and Maddie a bit tamer, all feels well. ... Only, here comes the Justice League, but not as the town know them. They look different, sound different, but they look to Danny/Their Town as a threat. A threat because this town popped out of fucking nowhere, blasting a bunch of death-aura, with TWO portals (counting Vlad's) to a dimension connecting all dimensions. Just an idea.

The growing rise in the push for only wholesome and explicitly consensual scenes when it comes to explicit sexual material in fandom is honestly exhausting. Though this happening for an event that's called kinktober is incredibly ironic.

So there's gossip about some version of kinktober over on twitter adding a bunch of nonsensical rules this year, and I am fascinated. Studying this like a bug.

After the End // We Write Our New Beginning (DC X BnHA) [part 1]

There was an undisputable aura of tension in the watchtower, and Clark could only wonder about the whens, whys, and the hows of how it would boil over.

They were in the meeting room; the one they used when something serious came up, and that time it was serious. Not like the last time when Bruce’s Robins decided to wreak havoc on the watchtower’s inhabitants in some form of ‘Awareness Testing’ as the Big Bad Bat himself had claimed it to be. Rather, this time, it was about something with a bit more far-reaching consequences.

“For those of you unaware of the current situation,” Bruce was saying, his voice as harsh as it usually was when he was engrossed in the so-called Bat Persona. “As of 0800 hours, in EST, that is, Japan has declared Martial Law across all its prefectures. The situation regarding to the villain, known as All for One, has been dealt with, and the villain has been listed as among the deceased—”

“It’s all over then,” Hal murmured, earning himself a flat stare from Batman.

“No,” Bruce said, raising the pointer and clicking on to the next slide, revealing an image of the Japanese Hero Commission which had come into fruition a fair few number of years before the Justice League had been formed. That fact was a point of friction between their two organisations, and had been the cause of more than a few headaches and headbutts when the Justice League had needed to operate – however briefly – on Japanese Soil. “There have been a few unsettling incidents regarding the Japanese Hero Commission. As we all know, the sheer proportion of the Meta population – or Quirked, as they prefer to refer to themselves as – severely outweighs those without that gene anywhere else in the world.”

Diana sighed, a faint, soft thing. “What have they done this time?” she asked, all too aware of how the Hero Commission liked to mess them around. They had seemingly taken glee in giving them the run around the last time they had to travel on Japanese Soil. It was why they avoided Japan wherever and whenever possible.

“They’ve put a bounty on someone,” Bruce explained, and Clark could only frown at that information, wholly uncertain as to why that fact would unsettle his friend so. “A child.”

The hush that fell at that announcement was poignant, a quiet undercurrent of tension making itself known amongst the heroes gathered there.

“That’s a bit extreme,” Hal remarked, and silently Clark couldn’t help but agree.

An alert for a missing child was normal, as was a warning if there happened to be a super-powered teen making some trouble that could find its way onto international waters… but a full on bounty for someone that met the criteria of a child… Clark chewed on his lip, the journalist in him wondering what exactly was up with that.

The Japanese Hero Commission had always rubbed him the wrong way; a whisper of instinct he had never paid too much attention to. He had thought it was simply a result of the friction there was between that organisation and their own, yet now he could only wonder…

What exactly was going on with them?

DCxDP Meet Cute? Meet Feral!

Batman and Robin are out on patrol. Bats has to pop out of the Batmobile for a minute, and leaves a sulking Damian to stay with the car. Just as Damian considers taking the car for a joyride, who should pop out of nowhere but Ellie! She slaps a sticker on the hood of the Batmobile and poses for a selfie. Robin of course, exits the vehicle to ask her wtf she thinks she's doing. Ellie immediately clocks him as a fellow poorly socialized gremlin child, tackles him and it's on!

Batman returns a few minutes later to find the two of them rolling on the grimy asphalt in a tangle of limbs, growling, kicking, punching, biting, all formal fight training forgotten. Bats has to forcibly separate them and scruffs them like misbehaving kittens who continue to snarl and throw insults at each other. Now Batman doesn't know who Ellie is, but he recognizes her logo and suit being like fellow League member Phantom's and calls him up in his Tiredest Dad voice to ask if he's missing a kid.

Danny arrives a short time later, and gets a truncated explanation of what happened. Now Danny is a, tired and annoyed about being woken in the middle of the night b, is a giant shit-stirrer himself and has been merrily gaslighting the rest of the League about ghost culture c, sees a golden opportunity to give Mr Batman Grumpypants some new gray hairs.

Danny: Now now Ellie, we talked about this. You're a princess! You can't just go around and accept a proposal from the first cute liminal boy you meet!

Batman and Robin, who were patching up a bite wound: Wait what

Danny: You'll be the ruler of the dead someday! You don't have to settle for a lowly mortal just because he threw a punch your way!

Robin: Now hang on...

Ellie, playing along: But Daaaaad! I don't wanna marry some emperor! At least this one still has all his teeth!

Robin: Hey, I'm heir to the Batman and the Demon's Head!

Danny: Do you know how many requests for your hand I get each week? I could have Alexander the Great as a son-in-law you know.

Ellie: But I already accepted this one!

Batman: *eye twitch* Robin is not marrying anyone, I forbid it

Robin: *stomps foot* So you don't think I'm worthy of marrying a princess?

Danny, watching the ensuing argument: Mission accomplished
