Blessed Imbolc!
Blessed Imbolc to the witches that celebrate! And blessed Lammas to southern hemisphere friends!
Where I live it snowed today and hasn't snowed all winter this year so I'm planning to do something with that! What are your Imbolc/Lammas plans?

Yule ideas part 2 - Imbolc ideas for those limited in their practice!
(broom closet, lack of materials, disability, whatever. all these require minimum effort and materials)
Many of these will be similar to the Yule ideas, but I'll try to mix it up with some unique things to Imbolc
Drink herbal tea, or mix things like cinnamon and rosemary into your tea/coffee
Listen to music about Imbolc and/or music about the upcoming spring
Wear colors/makeup matching Imbolc colors
Pray/meditate with Imbolc/Imbolc correspondences in mind
Say/think/write Imbolc chants
Do small cleansing rituals (opening windows, showering/bathing, decluttering, etc)
Do some self reflection or shadow work (if you're in the mindset where it'd be healthy for you)
If you worship Brigid, you can do small things to welcome and/or honor her (prayer, making a Brigid cross)
Bake things, bread is preferred but anything works
Keep your house warm (baking, fire, or just turn the heater on)
Work with deities that correspond with Imbolc (Brigid, Priapus, etc)
A subtle/easy way to incorporate a bowl of milk into your celebration is to have cereal, preferably corn flakes, or just drink milk (milk alternatives work too if you're lactose intolerant or vegan)
#z the witch posts#btw this is my witchy sideblog for witch stuff just by me and I focus more on how to be a disabled witch follow if you're interested

Almost every song I've listened to on there has been good! Though I will say a lot of them are more subtly witchy than explicitly witchy, and it is very hard to find explicitly witchy songs outside of the folk genre
— Z
Do any witches know of rock/goth witchcraft songs and/or bands?
As much as I do genuinely love the folk music my personal preference is for rock and goth music and it'd be very cool to find some witchy music in these genres. Only song I currently know is As Above, So Below by In This Moment lol

in this moment has a few other explicitly witchy songs, and a lot of their songs in general have themes that go along with witchcraft. i guess you know this but im saying it anyway.
blackbriar is a gothic band and many of their songs go along with witchcraft. i dont think any of theirs are explicitly witchy but i may be wrong, and either way themes go along.
i cant think of any others off the top of my head, but i may add later

Hello!!
Hey! My name is Alex, and you may (or may not) know me from @alex-studies-witchcraft .
This is my little mod-introduction!!
So, yes. My name is Alex, I’m 19; & I’ve been practicing for 11 years now. I’m an eclectic witch with very, very, strong Slavic roots/influence. I personally do a little bit of everything; especially when it comes to kitchen witchery!!
I also love, love, love; plants, animals (and yes, that also means insects); and I frequently use them/their energies in my practice.
I’m honestly not that big into crystals; they’re just not my thing. But! I do love working with spirits (especially my ancestors), it’s very fun/rewarding for me.
If anyone has any questions for me specifically, please use the tag “#modalex” and I’ll do my best to help you out!! Have a wonderful day!!

Hello, this is Z's introduction post!
I go by Z, and my pronouns are he/they. I prefer to be referred to by masculine or neutral terms.
I'm mostly an eclectic witch, and a baby one at that. Been practicing for about a year but still got a lot to learn. Still learning about different aspects of witchcraft before I find one to specialize in.
I follow the pagan religion. Currently researching different gods (Norse, Greek, and some others) to find ones that are right for me, but it isn't high on my priority list.
The tag for my posts is #z the witch posts so that's where you can find posts and reblogs by me.

Welcome to the digital coven!
I'm Z, the main face on this blog. More about me to come in my introduction post.
I'm looking for fellow witches on tumblr to join this blog. Here we will post witchy things, digital grimoires/BoS, and other stuff like that. We may also sometimes host digital events for things like wheel of the year holidays (no need to participate if you don't celebrate those) or celestial events.
We currently have three members, which include myself, mod Alex, and mod William! You can find our introductions in the tag #introduction posts
Witches of all various beliefs are allowed! In fact I'd love to get a mix of different kinds of witches. Any gods (including none), any practices, only requirement is to practice witchcraft.
And of course no discrimination to any religions, disabilities, queer identities, races, or other will be tolerated.
If you're interested in joining send a message or an off anon ask. I might still refuse you for any reason, but if your blog follows the rules set on this post you'll likely be fine to join.
Once you join you're heavily encouraged to make an introduction post! Post it in the tag #introduction posts. Include the basics about you like your name/nickname (just anything you want to go by on this blog), pronouns, and anything else about you personally that you want to include.
And then add the basics of your practice. Like if you focus on divination, energy work, celestial work, crystals, kitchen witchery, etc or if you're more of an eclectic witch. Maybe add what gods you worship or if you follow any religions.
And also don't forget to make a tag for your posts/reblogs/anything else you contribute to the blog. This can be simple like just #mod z or you can do something more fancy. Just include your name/nickname to avoid confusion.
Also add sign offs to original posts and reblogs with a comment, so that it can be seen even in reblog chains who said what.
Any posts/reblogs that relate to witchcraft are welcome! And if you have any witchcraft related questions this is the place to ask.
Just wanted to create a place witches could digitally come together and share their practice for those without a witchy community in their area like me.
