My 20 min run was a success!! I feel better and more confident that I can run a full 20 mins. My legs hurt all over and they feel like rubber. Also planked for 20 seconds and it was painful
Even though I did this last night and am pretty proud of myself. I fell asleep pretty fast after the gym and getting myself a smoothie to eat.
As of Sunday March 15th I am 14 pounds lighter. It's just a pound but its progress and I'm happy to take it. I ran pretty hard last night and had more energy to burn and was ready to take another lap!!! I'm getting more addicted to runninng and cannot wait to see how far my little legs can take me!!!
My most recent run from the other day (3/11) I plan on running tonight also but i just wanted to share my run and express how impressed i am with myself.
The first time I ran I couldnt even run for a min straight without heavy breathing and almost passing out. Now 15 mins for a mile and I could keep my pace. I cant wait to start running more and also train for a 5k
**I mean I was swearing like a sailor and threatening to keep running if I didnt hit my mile in 15....but I mean I did it.**
For a while I have felt awful about myself. The weight gain didnt help me with confidence or wanting to go out and let people see me. I just assumed because I had kids I was stuck in this skin and it made me feel awful. Luckily i have a super supportive fiance who is all about helping me gain my confidence back and help me get back into shape!!!
But I've started Keto and workouts and it has helped me loose some weight and find myself a new love for running. 13 pounds down and counting!!!
Made myself a reading spot this morning. I was super happy!! Comfy, warm and got some good reading done. Now it's off to do house work then read and relax tonight.
