I feel so sad. Very very sad. And disappointed at the same time. I feel like I need to cry but I shouldn’t because it’s not worth it to not move on fast from situations that you expected to happen but did not happen, you just need to accept the fact that everything is not about you or everything doesn’t always fits on you. Anyway, you know why I am very heartbroken?
So, last week of January, my friend sent me a message me on Viber if I am free this February because her friends, which are on college, is having a final requirement and that is to do a short film to be passed on their school in a specific date or time. Then she excitedly said to me that she will be recommending me to her friends to be casted in that short film. My role is going to be her best friend in the film and it is going to be a dramady (drama comedy) about best friends, and it sounds so much fun for me because it’s my first time to do a short film outside school since I graduated so I feel very excited. Then we talked about the script which happens to be in a finalizing process. We also talked about how excited we are to do the film together, to be working together, so I assume that that’s set then.
After a week, February came, and she doesn’t message me to update me regarding the short film if we are still doing it or not. And then I started to wonder or worry that maybe the short film was canceled by her friends but then again I thought that it’s impossible because she sounds sure that it is going to happen on February. So, I said to myself it’s OK I’ll just wait for her to message me again. Then weeks passed, she is still not sending me a message or a signal if it is still a go to shoot. Then a few hours ago I saw a picture on Instagram of one of my closest gay friends that he is with her doing the script reading of the said short film. I felt so devastated and sad. I felt betrayed in a way or I think I was overreacting, I don’t know. It’s just it’s not a good feeling to see another person (which happens to be my friend also) playing a role that you expected to be yours. My heart broke solidly. I think the main lesson here is to not expect too much from anyone or anything just go with the flow.
I have no choice but to wish them good luck with the short film. I hope they will do very well and I hope that the film will be successful and I hope they will pass the requirement.

So I watched (again) all the 7 films of Harry Potter and understand it more. J.K Rowling is a genius. She is a legend. I mean, how can she think of everything that had happened in every book? It was so detailed and out of this world. Brilliant! 👏🏼😍👏🏼 9 stars out of 10 stars for me.

Okay so I really need to blog about this film real quick. I just watched Hacksaw Ridge and I was in awe all throughout the film. I mean, I felt everything. It’s a roller coaster ride of emotions that I can’t help but to feel, every scene, every line and every action. It’s so amazing. I was teary-eyed. I don’t know on how to react in every dramatic-climactic scene. It was so depressing. It was so heartfelt. It was so heartwarming. Andrew Garfield’s character Desmond Doss gave me something. It gave me a spark of life that killing is not the answer or hurting people is not the answer for every war, for every fight. Violence is not always the key. I, once again, met another true brave hero. 👊🏼💯❤
Now, that I have watched that film, my respect for each and every soldier in the army is unmeasurable. By the way, Andrew Garfield’s performance here proves that he is now one of the best actors today. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This became one of my most favorite films of all time. The cinematography, the directing, the acting, everything that I saw in this film was flawless. Mel Gibson, once again proved that he’s one of the best directors ever because he made this film fearless and beyond spectacular. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

These two, for me, are the best Family-Drama TV shows I am watching right now. They are relatable. If you want to get your hearts touched, make it happy or reminisce melancholic moments that had happened or still happening in your lives, this is perfect for you. Spread love and appreciate life. ❤

Yesterday night, I watched a play called “Noli Me Tangere The Opera”. I was with my big sis and some of her friends from work. Honestly, I wasn’t really expecting that I will be watching this play because I don’t have enough money to buy for a ticket which is kinda expensive (for me). I never told my big sister that I really wanted to watch (‘cause fyi I’m a big fan of stage plays), I just kept it inside. Then a few days before their final performance, my sister texted me if I want to see it (How did she know right?), anyway, I said yes of course. Then she scheduled us yesterday night, it is happening and I am so excited. We just took the upper box seats and then the show started.
I can’t fully tell all the details of the play but all in all it was mesmerizing. It was amazing. But I have to admit, some of the scenes at the first part (it has two parts) were kinda boring but I told myself that be patient, appreciate it, it will escalate, and it did. It was my first time to see an Opera play and I don’t regret it. Although I am not an opera singer, but I admire how passionate and talented those performers are. Their voices and their body languages were close to perfection. The lights and set design were also amazing. The orchestra was sick. Their voices were amusing. But, I have to say this, the sound was kinda not that loud from our place but whatever. And there were moments that I wanted to see their facial reactions/expressions while singing and acting but I can’t, we’re too high.
On the negative side, the story of the play from the book is similar but not enough. Well I understand that the book is long so they have to just pick one important detail in the plot which is the relationship between the main characters. Plus, the main characters were lacking of chemistry, they should’ve work on that more.
But, I enjoyed it so much. I have huge respect for performers and this made me be more inspired to reach my dream, to be also one of them. I hope it will come true soon.

This is inspiring. This proves that no matter how difficult the challenges you have in maintaining you goal for you to achieve it and be satisfied, you can surpass it and you can do it but it is not easy, that's for sure. But damn. If you really love something and you're passionate about it. Do it. And btw, Miles Teller's performance here is his best so far. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 9 stars out of 10 stars for me.

Yeah I know. I'm late to watch this but whatever haha. Well, I am not satisfies and so impressed with the story but the acting of Dame Streep was just remarkable. I didn't even recognize her in some scenes because of her excellence in portraying the role. That is why she deserves an Oscar for this. And, Margaret Thatcher was one hell of an exceptional lady. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 7 stars out of 10 stars for me.

One of those films which have excellent performances from actors. Viola and Denzel showed me that playing a character different from yourself was created by passion and focus in your craft. This film left me in awe. I have mixed emotions while watching it. Definitely a must see! August Wilson is a genius. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This made me sad. It made me realize that life is too short. We have to show our love to those people who we love while there's still time. And we always have to be ready because we can't say how or when it will happen. Cherish the moments. ❤ 9 stars out of 10 stars for me.

Wow. These women are not just brilliant but they are, indeed, HEROES. I am so glad that this story was told because it is deserving to be heard and seen. They are so brave inspite of their color and gender during the time. Not just that, I admire the lesson of the story because no matter how different, discriminated or hated you are in a place or in an environment, it doesn't mean that you can stop being good in whatever you're good at. Nobody can stop you from achieving a goal because it is a gift. It is yours. 👍🏼 I love this film so much. Period. And because Taraji and Octavia are here. Brilliant actresses and such inspirations. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 10 out of 10 stars for me.

This is a refreshing zombie film where you can feel hope that although everybody is judgementally watching you, you can still prove to them that you are not who they think you are. That you can be loved and taken care of or not because you can handle yourself and you just needed someone to be with whom you owe your life a lot. ❤ For me, the acting of the actors were good, sometimes off especially Melanie but all in all, good. Cinematography was great. The zombies were exquisite. I mean, playing a zombie's the hardest role but fun (maybe). The plot is refreshing as I have said. 👍🏼 9 out of 10 stars for this film 😊👏🏼

I can’t explain how thrilled I am while watching this amazing masterpiece. It’s about music, love and dream. Perfect ingredients for me in a film. This is indeed deserving to win all the 7 awards at the Golden Globes and I hope they’ll win an Oscar, too. I loved it so much. Wow! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💯
