I’m going to try to organize a Discordian thought, within the Principia Discordia concepts, bear with me. While I agree we come from Chaos and most of how we see chaos and order is simply how we view things as a limited human through our individual grids, I don’t think Chaos is the only thing. Even within just that framework that Discordians use, love exists. Love or the desire to be loved is why the Void created Eris and Aneris. Love is why Eris was upset with the destruction caused by Aneris and love has been one of the great motivators of Individuals throughout humanity. Malaclypse the Younger towards the end of his life had said him and Lord Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst would have picked Aphrodite Venus had the known what they would bring about. Perhaps the correct answer is both. Maybe those more into the “sphere of Chaos” need to add Love and Beauty to their works. Maybe just maybe that is what is needed. Or maybe Fnord.
