The winter arc is finally

It is finally march and in less than week, i will be 29 and gurl I’m so happy to have locked in since November.
It was not an easy journey, like it might have been the hardest shit i have ever done for myself but it has paid!
When i started this journey, i made some goals for myself and i am here to say that i have achieved all of them.
I made my weight goal, hit over 10k step per day, 20-4 intermittent fasting, read my books, 5am club girly, my confidence is off the roof, improved my diet and went back into learning a new language!
I really became the girl that i wanted to be and with that i can finally say goodbye to my winter arc. It has challenged in more way than i can describe but it definitely Mold me into the bad gyal i was meant to be.
And to celebrate the end of my winter arc, my birthday and just me! Because i really deserve it, I AM TAKING MY SELF TO A GIRL TRIP! It is my first girl trip overseas with my best friends and i am so excited for it! We are going all out ball out!
This life is not only about hard work but also about celebrating and enjoyment babes. We only have one life and we really need to make the most of it!
On this note, i know I haven’t been as active as i used to be but baby I AM BACK!
I am preparing bunch of fun articles and tips for my girly pops and i cannot wait to share it with you guys!

Something that i miss for the early 2000 was really them photo albums. They held so much history, so many memories and as technology and social media got bigger so the need to hold physical memories faded.
I mean UNTIL NOW. Because tell me why I never knew that Walmart could print pictures from my phone ( or I never really looked for the information ). I always thought printing pictures was something expensive or too difficult to do. In reality, it only took me a few steps to select over 200 pictures from 2013 to 2025 and have them sent to my home for 40$.
I never realized the amount of pictures that are just in my phone being forgotten and taking space. I forgot about the existence of most of the picture and when on a memory lane
I found pictures of my grandparents, family, friends that I haven’t seen in ages, moments that I forget even happened and it got me super emotional. “
I realized how much I have lived and how many amazing memories I have created.
Now that I have all these souvenirs in papers in the cutest album ever, I am excited to create more memories and share those fond memories with others.
One day, there might no longer be any instagram, TikTok and so on, so all that we share online might disappear like MySpace did at some point in time.
I want my future kids to know that their mom was a real bad bitch you and here are the pictures to prove it!!
I created a whole album just for my favorite selfies and thinking about creating a magazine of myself with edit and shit just because I can and I know that I am fine shit!.
So all that to say, make that photo album, create momentum! Main character's energy is on full display.

I don’t know for you but February has been pretty draining to me and knowing this month is coming to an end, i feel today is a great time to do some introspection.
Take your journal, and think about the fact that you made it through that challenging month. For me, I haven’t been this busy with work and felt like all that i do was not enough and just felt overwhelmed over all. Than i realized, man ITS WINTER! Everything would be overwhelming, i dont go out, way less socializing, more procrastination, no shit i feel so low.
If you live in Canada, especially in Quebec, you would know that winter been kicking our ass and i decided to do some about it! I look into ways to bring more joy into my life, active joy. Not Netflix or TikTok (which tbh turned in into a zombie lowkey)
I decided to find indoors hobbies and go back into walking 10k steps a day. I felt like i needed to find a purpose until summer comes back and i can be the goddess of the sun that i was always meant to be.
For the hobbies, i started reading again, BAKING ( because fly girls bake pookie ), working out more (yoga mostly because I’m a stiff queen rn and i dont like it).
So on this fine Sunday, do a list of the things the better you would be doing! Like what perfect you do on her free time you know! And also take some time to reflect and be grateful for yourself and all that makes you who you are.
Use today to plan this last week of February and prepare what you want your March to be. March will mark the end of the first quarter of the year. MAKE IT COUNT!

So guys, i am turning 29 in a month and let’s be real my body is not what it used to be! Despite me working out 4times a week, fasting, and paying attention to what i eat, i can feel my body weakening in way. Not that i don’t feel healthy but I’m still having some back pain, less energy, and just like feeling my body more. And that is normal.
20 years old me and 30 years old me wont be the same! There are things that we need to do to keep up so we maintain our best self. My body wont be producing all the collagen that i use too, likes guys i can hear my BONESSS! And I’m telling that is is not giving!
After a bit a research, i realized that i was lacking nutrient that my body could not produced on it’s own or way less!
So here a list of Nutrients we need as bad gyals hitting our 30s, especially as black women
1. Vitamin D 🌞
Why? Black women are more likely to have vitamin D deficiency due to melanin reducing sun absorption. Low levels can affect bone health, immunity, and mood.
Sources: Sun exposure (15–30 mins/day), fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), fortified foods (milk, orange juice), and supplements (2,000 IU daily if deficient).
2. Iron 💪🏾
Why? Many Black women experience iron deficiency, which can lead to fatigue, hair thinning, and anemia.
Sources: Lean meats, beans, lentils, spinach, tofu, fortified cereals. Pair with vitamin C (oranges, peppers) to boost absorption.
3. Magnesium 🧘🏾‍♀️

Lil recap from January, IT WAS A BLAST! For the first time in a long time, January went it a blink and i truly believe it is because i have kept my self booked and busy loves.
I had so many things to achieve and yet little time so time managing and my agenda were my best friends.
I lost the weight, got my tattoo, fasted, took care of my self, spent time with loved ones. January showed me that with discipline and organization and can do it all.
Now that i know i can, FEBRUARY I WANT A LOT FROM YOU.
FEBRUARY is the month of love, so guess what? I will be loving on myself. I will be doing a lot , like a shit tone of self care.
I will book a massage session, do more meditation, yin yoga, do a lot of hair care and much more.
For this month I’m showing up, i will be looking my best any chance i will get because I’m a baddie. Point blank period.
I want to take pride with the woman that i am not that i not already do it but i want to be more conscious about how i present myself. Not to appeal to anyone but more so because i should. I want to love the reflection at all times.
So here are the affirmations that i will be saying to myself two times at day

This weekend i am finally doing my back tattoo (a dragon of course) and it feels so special to me. I have always dreamed of having this tattoo since i was a young girl. As the date of my appointment is approaching, i am realizing that i am just becoming the women little ole me always knew i would be.
i am known to be an impulsive girly and i truly believe that impulsivity led me to my best adventures.
I dont wait to find reason not to do thing because there will always be a reason to discourage you from doing something.
Either it is to do that tattoo you always wanted to have, starting that dance clas,visiting a new country, there will always be excuses!
You only have now babes, if not now, when? Let’s not forget that almost 4 years of our lives were stolen, dont wait for the perfect moment.

I know as the cold season is reaching its peak, it is hard to stay motivated and find purposes. So what a bad gyal like me do, it’s to give myself lil challenge.
It really can be really anything, just a lil something to give a bit of fun in your life.
I have been giving me workout challenges such as doing a 10min run without stopping ( i have a walking pad )
How much squat i can do in 30min
How fast can i clean my whole entire place
If i can copy a make up look i saw on Pinterest
Custom clothes based on outfits that I love
Just a bunch of any and everything i can do in a day.
It is so fun to me and makes me feel like a character in my very own show. Treat yourself like a baddie in your favorite show. Keep yourself entertain, this life is too short to let it be boring.
Give yourself spa days, movie night, challenges, there is so much you can do in 24h. Do not let this time pass you by. Make every moment feels special. Make everyday memorable hunny.
I make sure to give myself something exciting to look for. Like tomorrow i will be trying to do a 20h fast. No idea if i can do it but i will definitely will give it a try.
There is so much we can do, if you lack in ideas, there is that great tool call ChatGpt. Ask what are easy challenge you can do in a day and just look into things that made you happy as a child.
For me, i always had a passion for fashion so i will start custom clothes, shoes or bag as a challenge. WE CAN DO ANYTHING. And the best part about this is if you get really good doing something that thing can become an hobby, then a outlet then a BUSINESS!
So on that note babies, we are really gorgeous and amazing sweet likke things, lets live a life that resembles us.

So girls, you know we do not gate keep up in here. I have been doing Wooden therapy for a lil while and i never loved my body more. Off course workout and intermittent fasting has been a huge help in reshaping my body but so doing lymphatic drainage.
Lymphatic drainage is basically a way to improve the flow lymph ( bad fluid in your body ) through your lymphatic system. There is many way of doing so but the technique i love the most is wooden therapy and dry brushing.
I feel that my skin has been super clear and glowing. I am less bloated and each time a do so i feel so relaxed.

I decided to be more about action and do less talk hunny. The only time i would be showing out is when i would have achieved what i have planned to do. I know how much time i spend on social media looking at people doing their big ones instead of focusing on me.
My social media presence will be nonexistent until I do what i am supposed to do. Because baby , why would i spent a hour on tik tok while i have goals to achieve you know.
So no more social media unless it is to research for information or to find inspiration. If it doesn’t inspire me, it gotta go.
It is important to focus on yourself and disconnect from the virtual world time to time. I get doing a cold turkey social media detox is hard as well but being mindful of the time and thing you absorb on social media is already great.
Feed your soul with positive shit love.
Currently hyper femininity brings me a shit ton of happiness. So what i do, instead of spending hours on Ig or wtv, i go on Pinterest and get inspired by super girly pop shit, look for ways to improve my look and health.
Also, ChatGTP became my best friend. I was able to get myself a full workout plan base on my age, weights, height and goals.
We live in a time and age that everything we want to know is literally a click away so why not take advantage of it.
Stop be lazy, get yourself a personalized meal plan, workout plan for free in less of 10min. You feel stressed? Look for ways to calm yourself instead of going to social media.. See my drift there.
No more excuses, let’s no live to impress other but only for us and our own enjoyment!
Don’t let anyone know your next move. Just do it.

My Glorious era

If you have been here for a bit, you know we have been preparing for 2025 for a long time. Either it has been through healing our soul, participating to the winter arc; we have prepare ourselves to be the best of version of ourselves.
I want 2025 to be all about glory, gold and abundance.
I truly want all the finer things in life ( that still fall into my budget ofc ) and just enjoy life.
I took those holidays to plan a quarterly agenda. I gave myself 3 months goals and i am just so excited to start the new year and be able to start all those goals.
I have created a whole Pinterest that will reflect what I want 2025 to be.
I have so much that I want to do and share with you but ultimately I cannot wait to prove myself that i can show off for myself.
On those few days that we have left, i will take this time to look back and appreciate how far I have come since the beginning of the year to now. I have worked so hard in so many aspect of my life that i can proudly say that i am a better person than yesterday and i hope you can say that too.
I’m so grateful for me and for my resilience that I can only imagine all that i can do for 2025.
I chose glorious as the defining statement for my year because that is how I’m SHOWING UP all year long.
I am going to be the best version of myself.
When i say by the end of my first quarter i will be looking my best is going to be an understatement.
By the end of the second quarter, i will be having so much saving that i will be able to afford a new wardrobe and still have a lot of money to the side
By the end of the 3rd quarter, i will be summer and i will be enjoying it to the fullest. Going to concert, the beach and going a plenty of dates nights.
For the last part of the year, man i just want to slow down and take it easy pookie
Let’s make 2025 memorable and glorious. Why?because we are icon, legends, just pure gold hkaayy

There are a lot of things I was confused about. I have always had a clear vision of the life i wanted to have but has years as past as all i wanted to seek was peace.I realized that I did not care about public opinion, I did not care about popularity or any of that fancy stuff.
All I wanted to be was a bad bitch that is minding the business that pays her. I started to spend more time with myself and heal my soul. As I focused on my life and mine only, great things started to happen to me.
It was as if I was opening the door to so much blessing coming my way. I found love, made beautiful friendships, strengthened my connection with all my loved ones.
And to be able to receive all the good things in the world, it all started by being at peace with myself . You are kinda healing our soul pookie.
Here are a few ways to do so.
you need to connect with your inner self. You can do so through meditation, journaling or other activities that focus on the present moment and recenter.
Let go of the past. I know it is more easy said than done. But baby it is gone. It doesn’t exist anymore. Acknowledge the pain, fear from it and forgive yourself. You are better than you were, you have grown hmmm, you are okay darling. your past will never hurt you as long as you own up to it.
Be compassionate to yourself. The person you should love the most should always be yourself. Do your affirmation, rest, love on yourself.
There is so much more that can be done for your should to be at peace, but aye this post can only be so long.
Just think of your soul and body as an entity that needs balance and restoring. Be gentle with yourself and soon enough you will start to feel lighter and more complete. Everyday a little more.

We declutter!

Before the new year start, one thing that i did that made me feel so great was to declutter my space. I did not realized how much i was holding on to things. Like clothes that were almost 10 years old that i was not even wearing no more.
We do not realized how much we have until we sort out the things that we own. As i was putting all my clothes on the ground and start deciding what would make the cut for 2025, i went down memory lane. I look at certain look and remind myself of the person i was then and the person i am now.
It is never easy to let go, either it clothes or that gift you received in 2010 from that guy you don’t even talk to anymore. Like letting go , is letting go of old energy, things that are taking space for the new and better things.
As i was cleaning my wardrobe, when i started letting go of clothes that i thought i was real attached, it got real easy to throw away almost half of the clothes and shoes i own. Weirdly enough, i felt so light. It was as if some weight was lifted off my shoulders and shit felt great. No lie.
Like, since i was not aware of what i had, i would buy the same thing time and time again. Like why do i have the same exact black top 5times?
Now, i have two huge bag of clothes that i would give away and shoes i will sell and the nicest part of it all , i have gain space and will be doing a good deed by donating my stuff.
It is so nice to know what i actually own, knowing where everything is! It just feel like a good way to start your year.
It will take time, but it is so worth it.
Give yourself a day before the holiday season where you know you wont be disturbed and start the sorting process! Prepare a new playlist/podcast so you don’t feel the time pass. When it is done, clean your space. Take your time to do so. You want everything to be where it is supposed to be. Greatness cannot be rushed. And making the most out of our space will require time if you want to do it properly.
Also, declutter doesn’t only have to be your clothes, it can be things on your phone, people you follow etc, but an easy start will be your room

The importance of girl nights

I have been in a serious relationship for a good chunk of my adult life so without my girls, best believe i would have lost a lot of myself to the relationship. I have always been a very social and outgoing person, but as soon as I met my man, oh baby i was really obsessed. All i wanted to do was to spent time with him. I couldn’t see the problem until i became real codependent.
SO, one thing my girls did was to CLOCK ME! They reminded me that i was a person and that i could still be within my relationship. I had not realized how much i was investing in that relationship and not the others.
So from that point on, i have started spending more time with my girls and it was so amazing. Girlhood is truly magical. Like after a long week of work, going to brunch with your girls talking shit is really the best. There are problems that only your girls can understand, there are moments in life that only your friends can help you solve or even celebrate properly!
I have been have lots of girls night with my sister, my friends and baby! It is so wholesome. It gives me so much joy and it even helps my relationship. We have our own lives, our relationship is healthier and balanced! I was less pushy, demanding and overall less of a needy baby. I became a better partner by becoming a better friends. Spending times with your girls will make you a better listener and just a nicer person. No lie, I LOVE THAT FOR ME!
All that to say, cherish and care for your girls, they are the ones that would always be there for you and check you when you need to be check with them upmost love at the same time.
Your girls are your Sistas from another motha and being almost thirty, TRUST ME, I AM THE WOMAN I AM BECAUSE OF THE WOMEN IN MY LIFE.

Last ride for 2024

It is December my loves, our last punch until this challenging year comes to an end. If you have been following me, you know this year has been all about defining and building the best version of ourselves. It was not an easy time for any of us but we were able to make the best out of it.
I mean, we are still workout, have a social life and killing it at work. We are still standing bitchess!
So, for this last month of the year, i want to start planning! Like planning efficiently you know. My winter arc already gave me a head start but nonetheless i want a fresh new plan for a fresh new year.
Things that i will do :
Get a new planner/agenda
Get a new journal, crazy enough my current one is almost over
NEWWW MOODBARD! I need to be capable to visualize the bad bitch i am about to be! Just saying, she will slap.
Fasting ( more like intermittent fasting ) , i have been doing it for a few weeks and it did wonders on me. NGL
Make sure i hit the last goals that i have set to myself as well as setting new ones for the first 3 months of 2025
I think that if i am able to do all, even most of my goals, i know the new year will be a real delight for me.
I am so grateful for all the lesson and knowledge i have gain this year and to be able to see a new month/last month of the year is quite of an accomplishment. Not all made it , not all are striving , not all are loved or even capable of loving! I mean look at yourself, thank yourself! Love on yourself pookie, you are almost at the end of the year, blessed enough to be able to prepare the next.
December will be about showing OUT! Show up to yourself like you never did before. Get yourself that Christmas present that you wanted. Take yourself on a lil date. Just do the most to close the chapter that was 2024.
On that note, let’s all do our best and take in all the joy we can get from this jolly season!
