I absolutely hate it when women do this negative self-talk just to fit in with the crowd because the society has made it acceptable for us to talk bad about ourselves, but the minute we give even one compliment to ourselves, we are considered too self-obsessed, lacking humility, and everyone demands us to humble ourselves.
No please do not humble yourself and don’t feel guilty for being obsessed with yourself. Humbleness and humility are words thrown at confident women who love themselves by insecure, miserable people because they are triggered by your self love.
And men especially love to humble women because when you love yourself less, you value yourself less which lowers your standards and gives these men the opportunity to make their way into your life without putting in any effort.
No matter how many people find it offensive or hate you for that, always speak good about yourself. Appreciate your talents! Brag about your achievements! Say that you are beautiful and special! Compliment yourself all the time like you’re your own best friend!
And if you ever feel guilty for doing that or feel like you’re showing off or something, you need to ditch these people you’re surrounded by and replace them with confident women who value themselves, as being in their company will automatically raise your self-esteem and confidence level to a degree you’ll never stop talking about how awesome you are.
Stop trying to please people who are not even at your level by bringing yourself down. Why fit in when you are meant to stand out anyway?? Miserable people do not deserve your energy. They will make you miserable as well. So fuck them and fuck society! Fuck humbleness and fuck humility! You don’t have to decrease your own obsession of yourself to make others feel better about themselves.

As gorgeous and as fashionable as I am, I never dress for men.
“But your tits are basically out”
Yeah so I can see them whenever I look down?
“Your dress/skirt/shorts are so short”
Yeah so I can grip my own thighs whenever I want. Oh and look at my own ass
“You’re literally wearing a matching set under your clothes”
And?! It’s gorgeous. I love how the lace looks
Why do you think this is for you? I dress for the person I’m dating aka myself.
I’m genuinely so attracted to myself
I love myself so much
You don’t compare.

becoming your dream self: part 1 - creating your aesthetic blueprint ♡
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
hello darlingssss, it's mindy here to start our journey into becoming our most ethereal selves. especially for 2025, i already have a 2025 series, i'll be creating the masterlist for it soon!! but today we're laying the foundation of your dream persona, but not in the way you might expect. forget traditional vision boards - we're creating an aesthetic blueprint that speaks to your soul.
first, let's do something unconventional: spend a week documenting the moments that make your heart flutter.
i keep a tiny notebook in my favorite cardigan (i wear almost everydayyy) pocket and write down everything that causes that magical feeling - the way morning light hits your teacup, the sound of vintage jewelry boxes closing, the rustle of paper when turning pages in old books. the smell of rain, dark academia spotify playlists, etc! you don't need to keep a notebook in your pocket (as most notebooks don't fit) so you can bring a normal-sized one but just bring a bag with you that your notebook fits into. ex: tote bags.
here's my secret technique: create what i call "sensory anchors." choose five specific sensory experiences that embody your dream self:
a signature scent (mine is a mix of rose water and old books, or even victoria secret perfume)
a specific texture (i chose raw silk)
a recurring sound (my antique music box melody)
a taste (earl grey with lavender honey)
a visual motif (pressed flowers between glass)
next, we build these into daily rituals. instead of just planning how you want to look, plan how you want to feel.
my tip: create a "dream self hour" - the first hour after waking where you live exactly as your dream self would. don't check your phone, don't rush. move slowly, deliberately, like you're in a soft-focus film.
note: your dream self isn't just about appearance - it's about creating an atmosphere that follows you everywhere. i keep tiny vials of my signature scent in every bag, pressed flowers in my wallet, and a music box tune for my ring tones on my phone. these little touches help you embody your dream self even in mundane moments. it's really the first step to creating your dream self/persona
homework for this week: identify your five sensory anchors and practice incorporating at least one each day. document how it makes you feel in a dedicated journal.
with love and whispers of possibility, mindy ♡

MODELING CONFIDENCE👠
Tumblr media
CONFIDENCE is the main principal of life. Either you want a glow up, wanna transform yourself or create a whole new you, confidence is the key.
Some people are not very beautiful by face, they don't have such beautiful features, but still something is there that makes them look attractive, divine, sexy, beautiful, hypnotizing and charming, you know why, it's their CONFIDENCE that flows high.
Now we Know the importance and benefits of confidence, let's learn how to really be confident to really transform ourselves and do the biggest glow up:
1. WORK ON YOUR INNER CHILD
Heal yourself, forgive yourself, leave the past behind and move forward, be open minded, do things your inner child always wanted to do. Love yourself first and more than anyone, and when you heal, you glow differently. And your inner glow makes your outer beauty attractive too.
2. WORK ON YOUR FEMININE ENERGY
Heal and embrace your feminine energy, you're a goddess so act like it and treat yourself like it. Working on your feminine energy makes your aura divine.
3. WORK ON YOUR BODY LANGUAGE
Learn to be calm, present and focused, Don't overreact, just flow like water. Keep your eyebrows calm and relaxed, slow movements, smooth and clear voice, walk like u own the world, improve your resting face, and eye contact.
4. WORK ON YOUR BODY
Doing self care like massage, face massage, skincare, EFT tapping, deep breath work, yoga, exercise, going out for a walk, running, dancing, any sport, or anything that makes your body healthy.Moving your body is so important.
5. WORK ON YOUR MIND
Doing Meditation, affirming, visualization, journaling, praying to God, painting, writing, gain knowledge or doing any creative thing makes your mind positive and sharp.
These are the key factors to work on.
Another thing you can do to gain confidence is:
-DOING MAKEUP
-WEARING BEAUTIFUL OUTFITS THAT MATCH YOUR VIBE AND PERSONALITY
-ACCESSORIZING YOUR LOOK
-GETTING A NEW HAIRCUT
-STUDYING MORE
-DOING YOUR NAILS
Remember the real CONFIDENCE is inside. So it's very important to first heal your inner world and then outer world.

So guys, i am turning 29 in a month and let’s be real my body is not what it used to be! Despite me working out 4times a week, fasting, and paying attention to what i eat, i can feel my body weakening in way. Not that i don’t feel healthy but I’m still having some back pain, less energy, and just like feeling my body more. And that is normal.
20 years old me and 30 years old me wont be the same! There are things that we need to do to keep up so we maintain our best self. My body wont be producing all the collagen that i use too, likes guys i can hear my BONESSS! And I’m telling that is is not giving!
After a bit a research, i realized that i was lacking nutrient that my body could not produced on it’s own or way less!
So here a list of Nutrients we need as bad gyals hitting our 30s, especially as black women
1. Vitamin D 🌞
Why? Black women are more likely to have vitamin D deficiency due to melanin reducing sun absorption. Low levels can affect bone health, immunity, and mood.
Sources: Sun exposure (15–30 mins/day), fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), fortified foods (milk, orange juice), and supplements (2,000 IU daily if deficient).
2. Iron 💪🏾
Why? Many Black women experience iron deficiency, which can lead to fatigue, hair thinning, and anemia.
Sources: Lean meats, beans, lentils, spinach, tofu, fortified cereals. Pair with vitamin C (oranges, peppers) to boost absorption.
3. Magnesium 🧘🏾‍♀️
Why? Supports stress management, sleep, muscle function, and heart health. Many people don’t get enough.
Sources: Nuts, seeds, whole grains, dark leafy greens, dark chocolate.
4. Calcium 🦴
Why? Helps prevent osteoporosis, which Black women are at higher risk for later in life.
Sources: Dairy, leafy greens, almonds, fortified plant-based milks.
5. Omega-3 Fatty Acids 🧠
Why? Supports heart, brain, and joint health while reducing inflammation.
Sources: Salmon, sardines, walnuts, flaxseeds, chia seeds, omega-3 supplements.
6. B Vitamins (Especially B12 & Folate) ⚡
Why? Helps with energy, brain function, and red blood cell production.
Sources: Eggs, fish, meat, leafy greens, fortified grains, and B-complex supplements if needed.
7. Collagen & Vitamin C ✨
Why? Supports skin, hair, nails, and joint health.
Sources: Bone broth, citrus fruits, bell peppers, berries, collagen supplements.
8. Fiber & Probiotics 🥗
Why? Supports gut health, digestion, and weight management.
Sources: Whole grains, beans, vegetables, yogurt, kefir, and fermented foods.
9. Zinc & Selenium 💁🏾‍♀️
Why? Supports immune function, hair health, and thyroid balance.
Sources: Shellfish, nuts, seeds, Brazil nuts, and meat.
Supplement Recommendations:
Multivitamin for Women (with iron, D, and B vitamins)
Vitamin D3 (if deficient)
Omega-3 Fish Oil
Magnesium Glycinate (for stress & sleep)
Probiotic (for gut health)
Hope this helps my lovesss, until next time

Beauty culture is extremely normalised to the point women who refuse to conform to beauty standards because they love their natural selves get labelled "pick mes" by none other than self-proclaimed feminists themselves. Patriarchal society has conditioned women to be insecure about each and every feature of their faces or bodies it has deemed as a flaw due to which the idea of a natural looking woman is someone hideous and unattractive for many young women.
These insecure women have build up this one image of a natural female appearance in their minds which they describe as unattractive, and as a consequence, women who naturally do not fit into that unattractive-labelled box get hated on. I am sure we all have encountered at least one gossipmonger in our lives who would assume every woman who does not fit into that box has done something with her face or body because ‘ain’t no way a woman can be naturally beautiful’.
*Woman with rosy cheeks exists* — ‘Oh she must have applied makeup’
*Woman with no dark circles exists* — ‘hey what concealer do you use?’
*Woman with a smooth skin exists* — ‘drop the skincare routine!’
*Woman with big lips exists* — ‘definitely lip filler’
*Woman in her thirties exists* — ‘Botox! Botox! Definitely cosmetic surgery! She doesn’t look like a grandma!’
*Woman loving her natural self exists* — ‘How dare you think you’re not like other girls! Pick me!’
Women get bodyshamed if we do fit into the "ugly-looking" criteria. Women get hated on if we do not. Women are supposed to be hideously flawed if they defy beauty culture. Women with even one less flaw must admit they obey beauty culture. No matter how many times you ditch the beauty standards, you will never escape this nonsense.
I have a message for these insecure clowns:
There is nothing imperfect about you. What’s considered perfect and what’s considered imperfect on a woman is all a patriarchal set up to push us into being weak and desirable for men. Women’s insecurities have risen up along with the rise of feminism to ensure that independent women rejecting traditional gender roles are still submissive and pleasing men. Don’t waste your hard-earned money on expensive cosmetic procedures to look pretty because you are already naturally beautiful. And it doesn’t matter if your natural self is socially desirable or not, women don’t owe beauty to anybody. Please think critically of why you feel insecure about something and why do you even call it a flaw.
But on a strict note, in case you still got time to take out your brain back from the patriarchy’s washing machine, at least refrain from pulling us all down to the level of extreme self-hate where you stand. All women are perfect already. There’s no serious requirement of hiding anything or changing ourselves. But i understand if you cannot relate for now! What you see in others is a direct reflection of yours. But just because you think you are hideous does not mean every woman thinks the same way. Self-love is our only beauty routine so let us love ourselves. 🩷
