What is Natural skin care?
Put simply, ‘natural skin care’ is caring for your skin in a natural and chemical-free way. ‘Natural skin care’ advocates enabling the skin to take care of itself (without any assistance from synthetic materials/ chemicals). ‘Natural skin care’ is about inculcation of good habits in the way you lead your day to day life. A lot of natural skin care measures are actually the same as those for body care in general.
So let’s see what these natural skin care measures are.
Well the first and the foremost natural skin care measure is – ‘Drink a lot of water’.  Around 8 glasses of water is a must everyday. Water helps in flushing out the toxins from the body, in a natural way. It helps in the overall upkeep of the body and promotes good health for all organs (not just skin).
General cleanliness is another inexpensive way of natural skin care.  Daily shower, wearing clean clothes and sleeping on a clean mattress/pillow are all part of general cleanliness. After all, clean skin is the key to keeping the skin disorders at bay.
Regular exercise is the next thing on the cards. Exercise increases the flow of blood that helps in getting rid of body toxins and keeping you healthy.  Exercise also helps in beating stress which is the worst enemy of good health.
Healthy food and eating habits are also recommended for natural skin care.  Some type of food (e.g. oily food) is know to cause acne and should be avoided as much as possible. Your diet should be a healthy mix of various nutrient providing foods. Raw fruits and vegetables are known to provide freshness to your body and help in getting rid of body toxins.
A good sleep is also instrumental in maintaining good health and in beating stress. As a natural skin care measure, a good sleep delays slacking of skin.
Beating stress is another natural skin care therapy. Stress causes overall damage to body and health. Drinking a lot of water, getting a sound sleep and exercise has already been mentioned as stress busters. Indulging in a warm bubble bath, listening to music and playing your favorite sport are also good ways of beating stress. Yoga is yet another way of beating stress; it is fast gaining popularity amongst the masses.
Avoiding excessive exposure to sun (by wearing long sleeved clothes, hat and umbrella etc), is another natural skin care strategy. Sunscreen lotions are also recommended as necessary.
A lot of traditional and home made natural skin care products/ measures are also known to be very effective. Such measures are not only natural and easy-to-follow, but also relatively inexpensive.
Besides that, a lot of natural skin care products are available in the commercial market. These include things like lavender oil, aloe vera etc., which don’t have any side effects.

Organic skin care
“If it can be done naturally, why go for artificial means” - this is the basic premise on which ‘organic skin care’ works. Organic skin care is the most natural way of ‘skin care’. In fact, ‘organic skin care’ was probably the first one to be used by man when it first woke-up to the needs of his skin. ‘Organic skin care’ is not only friendlier to skin, but also inexpensive. If exercised in the right way, organic skin care can prevent the occurrence of a lot of skin disorders and can help keep your skin healthy and young-looking for a much longer time.
Organic fruits and vegetables are the most popular things on organic skin care routines e.g. cucumber is very common in organic skin care routines. Turmeric, apple, papaya, ginger are others that find a wide use in organic skin care routines. These organic materials have a very refreshing and vitalizing effect on your skin. Almost every skin care book/guide has section on organic skin care (including the actions of various fruits and vegetables on skin). So choose the ones that are more suitable for your skin type and start experimenting with them until you finally select the ones that are most suitable for inclusion in your organic skin care routine. It’s important that you use fresh organic fruits/vegetables. Don’t try to utilise the rotten ones for your skin, their only place is the garbage bin.
Milk is known to posses good cleansing properties; in fact, the name of some skin care products contains the word ‘milk’ in them. A combination of milk with ground oatmeal acts as wonderful cleanser.
Ground oatmeal is especially good for oily skins and is a popular ingredient in organic skin care regimen. It is used in various combinations e.g. with egg, honey, milk and fruits, for preparation of organic facial packs.
Wheat germ is another ingredient in organic skin care procedures. It is rich in vitamin E and is known for its exfoliation as well as moisturising properties. Wheat germ, in various combinations with other organic materials, is used to prepare facial masks for normal and dry skin types. Wheat germ oil is another way in which wheat germ is used for organic skin care.
Yogurt and sour cream are other organic materials that are popular for their exfoliation and moisturising properties.
Use of organic honey is also popular in organic skin care procedures. It helps in retention of moisture and helps impart a glowing look to skin.
Rose water takes its place as a toner in organic skin care routines. Lavender water is popular too.
‘Organic skin care’ uses combinations of various organic materials that complement each other and enhance each other’s effectiveness. Moreover, these combinations are also helpful in over-riding the harmful effects (if any) of various organic materials that form them.
Organic skin care is really an art that, once perfected, can give wonderful results in a very cost effective manner.

Crystal healing
Crystal healing is one of the oldest forms of healing. It employs the use of crystals to balance the energy in the body and alleviate common ailments. Crystals are formed under high heat and pressure by atoms and molecules arranging themselves in a highly ordered and more definite lattice compared to other solid matter. Crystal healers believe that with their special internal composition, crystals have strong electromagnetic fields that can resonate throughout the body. They can store and transmit energy, and thus possess healing properties that can help one achieve harmony and balance with his/her physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. Different elemental crystals can bring different kinds of health benefits to the user, some of which we will talk about more in later chapters. To start with, here are the most common health problems that crystals can heal.

Making Hand Dipped Candles
Making candles is a great hobby or business endeavor. Once you get the hang of it, the process is quite simple. For those who have the basics down cold, consider experimenting with the art of making hand dipped candles. While these lovely creations take more time, they are stunning. You can use several colors on each candle giving it a unique color scheme. There are basic tools you will need to make hand dipped candles. Most of them you already use if you have experience in making candles. You will need a large amount of paraffin wax, wick, and a double boiler to melt it in. Other utensils include wooden spoons, bowls, and a good quality thermometer. The colors available for hand dipped candles are too many to name. These colors come in various forms including cakes, chips, powder, or liquid. If you choose to add scents to your hand dipped candles you need to make sure it is pure oil that does not have a water or alcohol base to it.
You will prepare your wax for hand dipped candles that same as you do for regular candles. Let it continue to heat until it reaches a temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Once it does, turn the heat down very low to keep the wax in liquid form. Add the color to the wax, using a small amount at a time until your reach the color you want. Add a small amount of scent the mix at this time if you desire. Use scents moderately as you don’t want to have too powerful of a smell. Using too much fragrance can also result in the candle not burning properly.
Next, cut the wick for your candles, keeping it just a bit longer than the candle length you want. If you are making sets of the candles, it is important to cut the wicks exactly the same length. You will want to dip the wicks into the candle wax making sure to coat it properly. This is how you will “build” your candle. After the wicks cool, dip them again. Each time you do, the candle will grow in size. If you want different areas of the candles to be different colors, you will be able to do so by simply having more than one color of wax ready to use. Once your candle is close to the desired thickness you want, shave it with a soft blade, giving the top a pointed look. Dip your candles a few more times to give them a smooth finish.
Creating hand dipped candles is a great hobby or business venture. The process is time consuming, but the creations are beautiful. Learning to make hand dipped candles can be tricky. This is not a good type of candle for beginners to try to learn with. They will quickly become frustrated. To practice without wasting supplies, melt down the wax from the candles you are building and use it over and over again until you have the process perfected.
To make particular designs on hand dipped candles, consider purchasing a book. Most will offer you great color photos with step by step directions for making each hand dipped candle. You will also be able to obtain great color charts for obtaining the best color for your candles. The internet is also a great place to get ideas for the colors of your hand dipped candles.

Basic Sitting Postures with Benefits
 Basic Sitting Postures with Benefits
JANU SIRSASANA: Correct foot placement
Sit up straight with legs evenly extended in front. Bend the right leg at the knee and place the foot so that the heel is in the right groin and the front of the foot touches the left thigh. Turn the foot so that the bottom of the foot is facing upward and press the knee back to form an obtuse angle with the body. This position will be difficult at first; don't force it. Put a folded blanket under the knee and also under the hips. Gradually the knee will move farther back. Just keep the foot correctly positioned.
JANU SIRSASANA: Correct, perfect posture
Having positioned the foot and knee correctly, stretch the left leg out, keeping the leg firmly on the mat. Settle the heel firmly and stretch the toes up. (The heel should pull gently away from the ankle.) Now inhale and bend forward over the straight leg, catching the foot with both hands if possible. Beginners should bend only as far as they can without rounding the back. When this posture is done correctly and completely, the body will roll forward over the extended leg, absolutely flat from the tail bone to the head. Stay there breathing normally for as long as you can. Inhale, release the handhold, come up smoothly, straighten the bent leg and relax. Repeat on other side.
JANU SIRSASANA: Wrong posture
The heel is not positioned against its own thigh. The knee has not been pushed back as far as possible to form an obtuse angle. The back is humped and curved because the pelvis is jammed and unable to lift properly. Instead of a smooth, complete stretching of the spine, the lumbar is over-stretched and the rest of the spine constricted. The left leg is not flat on the floor.
TRIANG MUKHAIPADA PASCHIMOTTANASANA: Sitting, forward-bending pose over one leg
This posture generally follows the previous one. Sit with your legs stretched in front. Bend the right leg so that the right foot is near the right hip. The toes should point back. The right calf presses against the right thigh. The body will tilt in this position so put a small folded towel under the left buttock to keep the hips level and the forward stretch even and extended. Hold the left foot with both hands, inhale and bend forward, keeping both knees together as you stretch forward over the straight leg. Many students will find it difficult in this position to even take hold of the foot of the outstretched leg. Do not despair. Just hold the knee, shin or ankle, and sit, breathing deeply, in whichever position represents your best extension. If the back is tight and the spine inflexible, this will take time. Release the hold and straighten the bent leg. Repeat on the other side.

The Seven Chakras
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning spinning wheel.  These are a system of seven energy centers located along the spine.  Each chakra corresponds to an area of the body, a set of behavioral characteristics and stages of spiritual growth.  Practicing yoga and focusing your energies during different postures can help you to align your chakras and get all the wheels spinning in the same direction and speed.  Understanding how to fine tune and control your chakras through yoga and meditation can help bring balance and peace to your mind, body and spirit.
There are seven chakras, each associated with a different part of the body along the spine from the perineum to the crown of your head.  Each chakra is associated with a particular body location, a color, a central emotional/behavioral issue, as well as many other personal aspects including identity, goals, rights, etc.
The seven chakras are:  Muladhara- base of the spine; Svadhisthana- abdomen, genitals, lower back/hip; Manipura- solar plexus; Anahata- heart area; Visshudha- throat; Ajna- brow; Sahasrara- top of head, cerebral cortex.
Through the movements and postures of yoga, you can learn to focus your concentration and energy to and from the various chakras in your body.  This can allow you to compensate for areas that may be out of synch with the rest of your body or not active at all.  By balancing the energy among all seven of the chakras, balance can be achieved.  This spiritual energy is known as Kundalini energy.  In its dormant state, it can be visualized as a coiled up snake resting at the base of your spine, the Muladhara chakra.  Since the chakras act as valves or pumps regulating the flow of energy through your system, controlled and purposeful movements such as yoga can be extremely beneficial in realigning your chakras in a way that can cause great benefits to you in your physical and emotional wellbeing.

Black Magic
Magic is defined as a supposed natural prowess of making the impossible seem possible. It can give a person the power to control someone else.
In ancient times, a person who possessed the skills to perform magic tricks also used it for healing purposes. It was also used to keep away bad spirits, to seek the truth when injustice occurs and lastly, used to seek revenge.
‘In Black & White’
There are several types of magic but basically, it is subdivided in two categories: black and white magic.
You have seen a lot of movies which depict the good triumphing over evil. This is the same scenario between white and black magic.
White magic is done or performed on the “good” side. It is supposed to be used for the greater good and kindly or harmless methods are employed with this type of magic.
Black magic, on the other hand, is immediately associated with evil purposes. It is said that the evil spirits are called upon when a magician performs black magic.
‘Sorcery & Witchcraft’
Because of the shady or not-so-good reputation of black magic, it is often referred to as sorcery. It is also known as witchcraft, though most of the individuals practicing black magic are actually harmless and they do not have evil intentions.
‘Modern Black Magic’
Nowadays, supposedly there are several procedures and skills that one can learn through the art of black magic.
1. predicting the past and seeing the future through fortune telling
2. searching for a person’s innermost secrets through divination
3. casting a spell on a person by invocations
4. seeking revenge for an enemy through curses
5. having a spirit appear through evocations
6. creating procedures to sharpen one’s wit and further enhance concentration
7. using black magic to heal diseases and end ailments
8. ceremonies and seals to call, evoke, command, or reward spirits
Modern witchcraft or black magic has a major misconception of being performed for evil purposes.
By learning about the history and development of black magic from the ancient era to modern times, one will eventually see that it is not something to be afraid of.
Believing in magic can leave you with a sense of wonder about the intricacies of black magic or modern witchcraft and finally put an end the ancient misconception that it is no different from Satanism.
Modern black magic actually teaches about love of nature and harmony between opposite genders and love of nature and one’s self.
At the same time, it still leaves us wondering about ceremonials, spells and curses, which make us further appreciate the mysteries of the art of magic.
 Second Topic
Mystical Or Mind Over Matter The Truth About Magic Spells:
Civilizations all over the world have always relied on their faith in spiritual or mystical powers to accomplish truly amazing feats. Long before modern medicine came on the scene, most health concerns were traditionally handled by applying a dose of spirituality, voodoo, witchcraft, astrology, or psychic power from any number of paranormal sources. Hundreds of years ago, one simply couldn’t get through the day without help from the “unseen” world. Of course, that was in the “dark ages” before we were enlightened by the miracles of modern science. But is it wise for people today to scoff at all that seemed to work for so many people, for so long?
In a world where mainstream religion is often mocked, it’s easy to laugh at those believe in the powers of the paranormal, occult, magic, psychic or new age remedies. We often label them as misguided kooks or blind followers of today’s trendy Hollywood scene and counter-culture. But as humans, it is built into our composition to search for truth, and solutions to the many problems we face. And let’s face it, today’s world is filled with day-to-day problems that we strive to overcome… issues dealing with love, money, health, just to name a few. Life is a difficult struggle for millions of people worldwide who seek relief, and solutions to their problems by turning to magic spells. Just go to Ebay and do search on love spells or magic spells. You’ll find an endless potpourri of psychics and spell casters who can make your problems disappear, or bring you amazing results for just a few dollars. Think that’s funny? It gets better. When asked, most people who buy these spells will tell you that they really work… and they do.
So how can a love spell performed by a psychic actually attract a soulmate to a lonely person seeking a love partner? Did that money spell really make that struggling secretary get a job promotion and a salary raise? And what about that healing spell that cured my neighbor’s back pain? The unbelievers will likely point to coincidence, some sort of logical explanation, or attribute the results to simply “mind over matter.” But those who believe in psychic powers and the paranormal world think otherwise – there must be a spiritual or metaphysical helping hand involved.
As a self-professed psychic and paranormal expert, who has studied spirituality, psychic phenomena, and the art of spell casting, I personally believe that there is much more to this than meets the eye. Most mainstream religions accept the power of prayer as a way to receive blessings, protection and goodness from spiritual sources. Even medical professionals are now recognizing that an individual’s faith and beliefs can play a major role in improving quality of life and health. However, while many doctors will admit that there is some benefit to holistic and alternative medicines, you’ll be pressed to find any who will publicly encourage seeking answers from a psychic or magic spell.
There has always been a stigma in going to a fortune teller, psychic or spell caster, which keeps people from easily accepting their virtues. As an industry, the psychic business has brought on much of this skepticism itself. Shoddy late night television infomercials for psychic readings, con artists or carnival fortune tellers are the images that come to mind for many, when they think of psychics. Just look at how astrology and other psychic-related ads have that tiny disclaimer at the bottom that says “for entertainment purposes only.” It’s about as phony as pro wrestling, right? Well, don’t be too quick to agree.
There are more people than you think who use money or love spells on a regular basis, in an attempt to restore a bad relationship, or gain financial freedom. And these are folks from all walks or life, professions, income levels, religious affiliations and nationalities. Sure, some may rely too much on seeking guidance and help from the psychic world, but most of them are die-hard believers of the occult and would not have it any other way. They will tell you that these spells work for them, their lives have been enriched, and you are the foolish one who doesn’t know what you’re missing.
People always ask me, “Are these spells real? I mean, can they actually make things happen that I can’t do on my own?” If spells can do what they claim they can do (improve love life, attract more money, better luck at gambling) then the answer has to be “Yes.” A spell that does what it is supposed to do has got to be real. Of course, it helps if you have a positive outlook, and believe that the spell can truly help you. But if the spell delivers results, then it has to be real. Believers will tell you that those who refuse to open their minds to the possibilities of magic spells and spiritual solutions will never know what they are missing. Perhaps it is the unbelievers who are experiencing “mind over matter,” only their mindset is narrowly fixed on the opposite end of the belief scale.
Why limit your world to just the few things you can see and touch? After all, what you see isn’t always what you get.

Magic Oils
Basic Base Instructions
Supplies and Ingredients:
a small glass jar with an air-tight lid (mason jars or recycled jars are amazing!)
cheesecloth or muslin
an oil base (olive oil, sunflower oil, Jojoba oil, Vegetable oil or the like)
another jar or container to hold the finished oil (pretty jars are good but make sure they have good tight fitting lids)
labels  (hand written or printed its up to you)
dried herbs (chosen for your oils intended purpose of course)
Directions:
Fill about 1/3 of the glass jar with your dried herb(s) of choice.
Pour your oil base over the dried herbs—almost all the way to the top of the jar.
Shake the jar gently.
Label the jar with the oil base, herb(s) used, and the date.
Close the jar tightly and put it in a cabinet—preferably a cool, dark place.
Gently shake the jar twice a day, every day, for the next 2-4 weeks.
After 2-4 weeks, open the jar, place a piece of cheesecloth on top of the jar, and secure with a rubber band.
Strain the oil by tipping the jar over another another jar or bowl (to contain your infused oil).
Once most of the oil is strained out, remove the rubber band and squeeze the remaining oil out of the herbs that are in the cheesecloth.
Bottle the infused oil, and be sure to label and date it!
Common Herbs Used to Infuse Oils
Basil
Calendula
Elderflower
Hawthorn
Lavender
Mugwort
Peppers
Roses, rosebuds, rose hips
Rosemary
Sage
Thyme
Wormwood
Tip #2: Focus on your intent when making magical oils.
If you are using herb-infused oils for magical or spiritual purposes, remember to concentrate on your intention while making the oil. Your intention and energy is what makes the oil “magical”.
Tip #3: Consider the timing.
Lunar phases play an important part in creating magical oils. For instance, if you are making a magical oil to use in money magic, make it on a new or waxing moon and bottle it at the next new or waxing moon.
How to Use Herb Infused Oils in Magic
There are many magical uses for herb infused oils and essential oils. Magical oils are used to charge, empower, dress, and consecrate spiritual and magical tools and items.
Common Magical Uses:
Anointing your altar
Anointing your tools
Anointing yourself for meditation and ritual
Anointing your home to cleanse or protect.
Dressing candles
Food for mojo bags, nation sacks, spell bags, etc.
In a Pinch? Mix Essential Oils!
If you’re in a magical pinch and don’t have time to make herb infused oils, essential oils work just as well and are easy to attain. If you already have essential oils on hand, mix two or more together for the desired effect, scent, etc. For example, if you want to ease anxiety before an interview, mix lavender essential oil with lemongrass essential oil then dab it onto your wrists. If you need a banishing oil to dress a candle, rub cinnamon essential oil from the top of the candle to the bottom and all around it.

Meditation
How To Practice Meditation and Yoga Techinques
Meditation is the most important practice for calming the mind. A calm mind can lead to a healthy, happy and successful life. It can cure diseases and speed up healing processes. We describe the simple technique below called prana-dharana. Prana in Sanskrit stands for the air that we breathe. It is the most basic act of life which starts from birth and goes on till death. But generally, we are not aware of the breath till our attention is drawn close to it. Dharana means its awareness. Prana-dharana means applying the mind to the flow of air when we breathe. The method is as described below:
Sit in a posture suitable for meditation. The common postures are Siddhasana, Padmasana and Swastikasana. But if you cannot do this, just sit cross-legged. Your back should be straight and eyes closed. Your knees should be placed well on the ground. Do not stoop your shoulders back. The whole body should be relaxed and the whole frame steady without exerting any pull or pressure on the thighs, feet, knees, spine or neck. There should be no stretch on tension along the abdominal wall. Let the abdominal wall sway gently back and forth very smoothly and effortlessly with each respiration. Facial muscles should be relaxed and mouth closed with a small gap between the two jaws such that the upper and lower teeth do not exert pressure on each other. Your tongue should touch the palate with tip touching the back of the upper front teeth. Ensure that the lips, tongue or the lower jaws do not move. Your eyeballs and eyelids should be steady and the muscles of the forehead relaxed.
Your entire posture should be comfortable, steady and relaxed. You should not feel strain on any part of the body. Now start developing the awareness of breathing. The flow of air should be uniform, slow and smooth. Do not make any effort or exercise any control. Never hold breath. Do not utter any word or see any image. This will calm your mind and help you achieve peace.
Importance Of Controlling Your Mind
Since ancient times, the human philosophers have realized the importance of the mind in governing the human affairs. They knew that a person’s external circumstances were the result of his internal thoughts. They were aware that if the person thinks of riches, he would have riches, while if the thoughts are of poverty, success and failure would produce the corresponding effects in the person’s circumstances. Today, modern science has acknowledged the truth of these findings. Hence, it becomes crucial for a person to control his mind.
Yoga has specific techniques which deal with the science of mind control. We will study the nature of the mind as is recognized by yoga in this chapter. Shankaracharya has defined the mind in four different ways as per its functions: manas for the job of resolving and doubting; buddhi for the decision and judgment; asmita for the consciousness of its individual existence and chita for remembering the previous experiences. The Mind is a vast collection of thoughts and traces of past experiences. When you are born, your mind is the collection of samskaras collected over the previous births. Those samskaras, whose fruits have already been enjoyed have been wiped out. But as you grow up, new samskaras are being added continuously due to various acts performed by you from birth to death. This translates into the law of karma which states that the events one faces in his life are the results of the activities done by him in the past and his mind at birth contains the samskaras from his previous births.
Yoga recognizes five factors, basic to the mind of every person. They are called kleshas because they are the forefathers of every human misery. They are: avidya which is the false knowledge or ignorance of one’s true self in relation to the objects; asmita or ego feeling since in yoga, body and soul are two different aspects; raga is the liking of pleasurable experience; dvesha or aversion to pain; abhinivesha or fear of death. Yoga understands the human behaviour from the perspective of these five qualities which are assumed to be present in a person since birth and are considered as the impurities of the mind. They make a person unstable and agitated. Hence yoga has given way of dhyana and pranayam to cleanse your mind.

Never forget to be kind even in the face of anger.
Todays Message, never forget to be kind even in the face of anger.
We spend so much of our time in front of our computer screens and staring at our phone or other digital devices we forget that there are living breathing humans on the other side. Some of us get so passionate during gaming that insults and threats are hurled at the opponents without regard for how that person may be impacted by these sometimes very harsh words. Insults and threats are now the norm for many people, without taking into consideration the age or mental health  of the other. So many adults and children are victims of cyber bullying each second of every day its nearly impossible to count.
Society has a way of brushing off these instances by saying one should grow a thicker skin, get tougher or just fight back. They rationalize that because they may have suffered bullying in school and survived, they think everyone can do the same. But let’s take a moment to argue the facts. While both bullying in school and online are both equally unacceptable. Online bullying can sometimes take on a mob mentality, people can group together in great numbers to prey upon what they think is the weaker person, or simply follow a leader that is bullying, and they find him or her funny and laugh at the insults thrown at the victim just like bullying in person, however the victim is unable to escape the torture by going home. The victim can be harassed in so many ways, from social media accounts, gaming communities, forum communities and other groups can attack this person usually no matter where they are online. The victim can be harassed by those that have never known the victim just simply jumped on the bandwagon to get a thrill. Lives have been threatened, ruined and even taken because of online harassment. There are so many social media outlets that its hard to escape this form of abuse. People who would normally not feel right about saying harmful things feel they can hide behind a screen and hurl whatever they want another person. Some feel powerful just like those that bully in person, but rarely do they receive punishment. Or are even reported.
Individuals who have experienced cyberbullying at some point in their lifetimes have more than doubled from 18% (in 2007) to 37% (in 2019) (Patchin & Hinduia, 2019)
Over 60% of students who experience cyberbullying reported that it immensely impacted their ability to learn and feel safe while at school (Hinduja, 2018)
59% of U.S. teens have been bullied or harassed online, and over 90% believe it's a major problem for people their age (Pew Research Center, 2018)
Please take a moment to teach your children that this is unacceptable and even though this type of bullying is done in a virtual way it is still as harmful and dangerous as bullying in person. Lives and mental health are at risk. Be kinder and gentler it could be the difference in someone’s life. Who knows, you may even save a life. Take care of each other.

To fear or not to fear
Fear and Halloween are probably going to be forever intertwined. After all, a holiday that celebrates “the ghastlier aspects of death and beyond” has to conjure up images of fear in some minds and mischief in others. However, fear and anxiety associated with the holiday aside, observing people’s behavior around Halloween can often show an interesting dichotomy to how people handle fear. The same concept also applies whenever most people are presented with an option to voluntarily view something they know is designed to scare them, such as a horror movie or visiting a haunted attraction. Proper observation can often make it apparent that fear is not quite as simple to understand as most individuals would like to assume.
Fear is a negative emotional response. This has been what each and every one of us has been told since we were children. Recognizing fear and anxiety as negative factors is also deeply ingrained into the basic human psyche, with people instinctively associated fear with a variety of undesirable personality traits or situations. The avoidance of fear, or at least controlling one’s self to the point that one’s fear and anxiety is not readily apparent to casual observers, can sometimes have side effects when a person’s mental health is considered. This is particularly true if the unwillingness to show fear has become a fear in and of itself, which is both psychologically dangerous and rather ironic.
However, that does not seem to coincide very well with how much people want to be scared. While it is unlikely that a random person off the street is going to readily admit to the inclination, most psychologists believe that people want to be frightened. Ghost stories around the campfire, horror movies that have ample amounts of tension and anxiety, and roller coasters with obscenely risky loops are all taken as factors. Each of the above can be used to scare people and, according to some mental health experts, it is the fact that things like the above scare us that cause us to frequent them so much. However, it isn’t so much the fear itself that the brain and the body draws pleasure from, but the hormonal reaction to that fear.
Most psychologists and doctors believe that the body and mind comes to enjoy the sensations brought about by the various chemicals the body produces when it is in an excited state. The most commonly known of these substances would be adrenaline, but there are other hormones and biochemicals that come into play. The easiest way to get the body to increase the flow of these substances is to feel fear, which would explain why people are sometimes to eager to put themselves in situations where they can be scared. The adrenaline “rush” caused by fear and taking risks can also account for people’s enjoyment of extreme sports, even if they are not the sole factor. The fact that things like horror movies and roller coasters are, to an extent, controlled environments also makes it easier for people to go into them. The sense of control over the situation that induces the fear is often enough to keep the survival instinct from overriding the desire to be scared. Halloween is among many other things a holiday that celebrates this love of fear and the excitement and adrenaline that comes with all things spooky, thrilling and scary.

Hence yoga has given way of dhyana and pranayam to cleanse your mind.

a small glass jar with an air-tight lid (mason jars or recycled jars are amazing!) cheesecloth or muslin an oil base (olive oil, sunflower oil, Jojoba oil, Vegetable oil or the like) another jar or container to hold the finished oil (pretty jars are good but make sure they have good tight fitting lids) labels  (hand written or printed its up to you)
dried herbs (chosen for your oils intended purpose of course)
Basil Calendula Elderflower Hawthorn Lavender Mugwort Peppers Roses, rosebuds, rose hips Rosemary Sage Thyme Wormwood
How to Use Herb Infused Oils in Magic There are many magical uses for herb infused oils and essential oils. Magical oils are used to charge, empower, dress, and consecrate spiritual and magical tools and items.
Common Magical Uses: Anointing your altar Anointing your tools Anointing yourself for meditation and ritual Anointing your home to cleanse or protect. Dressing candles Food for mojo bags, nation sacks, spell bags, etc.

Unreal Estate 10 Horror Films With Demonic Dwellings
Unreal Estate 10 Horror Films With Demonic Dwellings And Un Family Friendly Locations
1. Nosferatu (1922)
There’s nothing like making the property sale of your life, only to find out that your dream client is a member of the blood-sucking undead. This movie is notable because it was an unauthorized adaptation of the book “Dracula” by Bram Stoker. Recently, improved copies of the original movie have been made accessible to the public. This film first introduced the concept of vampires being severely harmed and/or destroyed by sunlight. Which seems to now be the accepted normal.
2. The Amityville Horror (1979)
Perhaps the most extreme case of buyer’s remorse in a film to date, “The Amityville Horror” is based on Jay Anson’s novel of the same name. An all-American family purchases a big house with a big lot in a nice neighborhood for a low, low price… you know that there has to be something wrong somewhere. And there is. A whole lot wrongs. Fortunately for the viewer, the supernatural events claimed to be true in the book and the movie have not been reported by the family presently living in the house. Many new documentaries have now been filmed that claim just the opposite, some claim the subsequent owners have had experiences, just maybe not to the degree the Lutz family did.
3. Poltergeist (1982)
The American Dream: the kids, the car, the house… wait… The house has a few problems. Faulty wiring – the living room television turns on by itself. Next level – the coffee urn keeps moving. Weed problems – a tree outside trying to grab the kids and hurl them into a parallel dimension. And having the house implode on you is always another indication that things aren’t entirely sound. You may want to pass on trying to sell this one, and avoiding all other dwellings built on Native American burial grounds. Hint, do your research.
4. The Lost Boys (1987)
A movie that illustrates what’s important about the phrase, “location, location, location”. When you’re looking for a place to raise your two teenagers, perhaps “the murder capital of the world” shouldn’t be your first consideration. Maybe moving in with grandpa wasnt such a good idea. That and all the damn vampires, even as sexy as David was.
5. The Haunting (1963)
This is the 1963 version and not the unwieldy 1999 remake. Might keep this one in mind if you decide to check out a house with a dark past. A team of paranormal investigators find that an old mansion contains more sinister forces than mold and termites and loss of equity. This is one of the finest slow burn, unnerving and tension filled horror movies of all time.
6. The Tenant (1976)
Roman Polanski plays a man who becomes afraid that his landlord and neighbors are trying to mold him into the previous tenant so that he will commit suicide too. This film isn’t a sparkling example of landlord-tenant relations, but it does bring in a good creep factor to rental property investments. Gives you even more reason to avoid the neighbors and make sure you get your deposit back.
7. The Uninvited (1944)
It’s another case of a well-appointed house being purchased at a suspiciously low price. Of course, the new owner finds that there are some supernatural squatters who make life… difficult. As in, make it difficult to stay alive. As with many other older films, watch this one instead of its remakes.
8. Psycho (1960)
Traumatizing shower lovers for nearly 50 years, Psycho features the brooding Bates’ house that overlooks the Bates Motel. It would be a better investment if its owner wasn’t channeling his murderous mother, but you can’t expect everything. The real house is still available for viewing via tourbus at the Los Angeles Universal Studios.
9. Arachnaphobia (1990)
A doctor moves his family away from the big, bad city to end up fighting big, bad spiders. It’s what you get when you find a cheap house in a safe neighborhood: something always comes along to threaten your life. Classic tale for those who are unconvinced of the need for a pest inspection before buying – big South American killer spiders could get YOU. Maybe the city isnt so bad after all.
10. The Changeling
A 1980 Canadian supernatural psychological horror film directed by Peter Medak and starring George C. Scott. It follows an New York City composer who relocates to Seattle, where he moves into a mansion he comes to believe is haunted. It is based on events that writer Russell Hunter claimed he experienced while he was living in the Henry Treat Rogers mansion in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, in the late 1960s. Again, it pays to do research.
Other movies to make you want to stay in your current dwelling: Sinister, 2012 Insidious, 2010 Secret Window, 2004 Hell House House of the Long Shadows, 1982 The Haunting in Connecticut, 2009) Half Light, 2006 The Amityville Horror, 2005 (Remake) Dream House, 2011 Do not Be Afraid of the Dark, 2010 Darkness 2002 The Messengers, 2007
I could go on and on, I supposed the point of all this is...do your research!

Halloween Parties
Halloween possibly has more parties than almost any other day, second maybe to New Years. People of all ages love to dress up and pretend theyre somebody else for a night. Most people conclude with more than one invitation to Halloween parties and have to elect one of them to attend. If youre thinking of throwing a Halloween party, how do you persuade people to elect yours through the others? an original, unique theme is the first step. Most people dont plan a theme beyond wearing a costume at Halloween. Just giving your party a more singular theme will help it stand out from the crowd. You can elect the traditional spooky form of Hallowen party and have everyone come as their favorite ghost, horror movie character or monster. A spooky party will possibly be one of the easiest to find party favors and decorations for, since that tends to be the most normal theme for Halloween. There are plenty of other themes you can try, anyhow. What about a famous couples party, where everyone comes as a famous couple? Or perhaps a movie theme night, where everyone comes as their favorite Star Wars character for example. Some other theme ideas include: crazy hat party decade party (60s, 70s, 80s, etc) homicide mystery favorite cartoon character pirate party future party (everyone comes as themselves in 25 years, for example) When youre preparing your party, one of the most essential things is the menu. Food is systematically an essential part of any party. It might be a full meal or just finger foods, but be creative with what you serve. Try to work the food into the theme of the party. For example, you could make a couple of ladyfingers that actually look like severed fingers. If you start up to plan your party early, youll leave yourself an enormous amount of time to get everything organized. Get a couple of help from friends or family if you require it, and bring to mind preparing the party is half the fun!
