The Princess Process was inspired by my Mom, Mary Lou Allman. She passed away Sept. 6th, 2019. As one of my greatest teachers, she taught me to love myself as I am and to not only find divinity within, but to honor and celebrate it. I’m grateful for her example of loving and serving everyone around her, in a Christ-like way, every day. I miss her desperately. However, as I post these pictures that perfectly capture her cheerful personality, they remind me to honor her by serving as she did and strive to obtain her bright and happy countenance. I’m reminded to keep an eternal perspective in my heart, and that we’ll be reunited one day. Of that, I’m certain! Thanks, Mom, for teaching me that I’m a daughter of God, and fro bringing out the Princess in me. 👑

Make a list of positive affirmations for yourself. At the Princess Process we call this list our “Words of Truth.” You might start with only a few statements. Continue to build your list. Say it loud, say it proud and repeat your list often!

Be true to your authentic self when making decisions. “When you are struggling to decide how to handle a life challenge, try looking at it from a bigger perspective. Look beyond the personalities and the problem, and ask yourself who do I want to be in the universe? To help make behavior choices that are in line with your authentic self.” Lisa M. Schab

Joyful January! “Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation and thankfulness for blessings or benefits we have received. As we cultivate a grateful attitude, we are more likely to be happy and spiritually strong. Sometimes it is hard for us to see the multitude of blessings around us when everything feels like a heavy, sad, struggle. Try to find something even if it is the fact that you opened your eyes today. We can (and should) regularly express our gratitude to God for the blessings He gives us and to others for the kind acts they do for us. What a blessing!! Gratitude is an uplifting attitude. People are generally happier when they have gratitude in their hearts. “We cannot be bitter, resentful, or mean-spirited when we are grateful.”
