I think it's official. I'm insane.

So. For anyone who doesn't know (which is 99% of you), I'm a writer.

There is ONE rule when writing. Just one. It's very simple.

"Don't harm the dog."

Now, I'm in creative writing. The group decided to give everyone a separate prompt, instead of everyone following the same. My prompt was quite simply, "Set something on fire."

Great! I've written arson before, so I take advantage.

I start writing, and I suddenly get this brilliant fucking idea, that if I'm writing something as intense as arson, we need to make it a little sad. Problem being, that since this is a short story, no one gets attached to the characters.

And I suddenly smirk and my friend next to me gives me a weird look. I snicker and type my plan.

They quite literally beg for me to not do the thing, but in the end, I do it.

At the end, we all share our work. And so it's my turn to go, and as I reach a sentence, and I look up and press my lips together. I say, "I'm so sorry, by I made some choice decisions while writing this..."

My friend gives me the nastiest glare while someone else just whispers, "Oh god, she killed the dog. Didn't she?"

So I read the statement where the dog is now dead, and I wrap up my story. I get yelled at instantly, and I point out why I did it. They got why I did, and they all grumbled.

But the kicker?

One of the girls on the other end of the room just stares at me and says, "Well, you're fucking lovely!"

The other day, I had been rewatching Atypical as one does. That night, I wanted to rewatch Riverdale's Men Of Honor because Toni in that episode was amazing. ANYWAYS, I'm looking at Nick all, "Huh... both him and Nate look similar." I'm thinking there no way, because why would this man play two douches?

But in the end, low and behold, Graham Philips plays both Nate and Nick.

And I only figured this out recently.

HOW insane the writing of Riverdale got

I still love that show so much. And I am still not ready to say goodbye, even though it is now over.

I'll never see Cole Sprouse as Jughead again

I'll never see Camila Mendes as Veronica again

I'll never see Lili Reinhart as Betty again

I'll never see KJ Apa as Archie again

I'll never see Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl again

I'll never see Vanessa Morgan as Toni again

I'll never see Casey Cott as Kevin again

I'll never see another promo again

I'll never get the feeling of excitement again when a new episode airs

I'll never get to see some random ass new plot ever again.

This show has been my home for years. I found it when they were half way through season three.

There will never be a show like Riverdale ever again

There will be no cast like the Riverdale cast again

I'll never see new Choni scenes again

I'll never see new Bughead scenes again

I'll never see new Barchie scenes again

I'll never see new Varchie scenes again

Riverdale is over, and never returning. I won't get to wait a year or so, and be excited for a new season. No. There will never again be a new episode.

I'll admit, some of the ending was amazing, some of it was not.

Kevin and Clay got their happy ending, which was amazing.

But they put Jughead, Archie, Betty, and Veronica in the quad? For zero reason. That was irritating.

I think the death of Betty was beautifully portrayed as well.

But my favorite part of the ending?

Cheryl and Toni got their happy ending. After season five and six, I am so happy. They even had a son, named Dale. Hell, I will never get over them using Vanessa's son River to play a character named Dale. Absolutely genius!
