Hope you guys come back to this blog one day since RJ's blog got deleted the story isn't even on tumblr anymore sadly.

Huh. I hadn't seen that RJ's page was gone until i decided to check on here again. I'm not sure what happened but wow i must've missed something (tbh i haven't looked that far into it, so don't feel obligated to explain anything)

As for the blog I don't think I'll be coming back, at least not without some serious change in focus (to general horror or other writing I'm not sure). I'm not sure that i want to try that or if I should just let this sit as a time capsule.

I really enjoyed running thirdbasedumpsterfire, but I had a lot going on irl at the time. And through the process of getting through all that I've kinda outgrown the story and the blog as a result. I do miss it sometimes though it was always fun replying to asks and drawing the art.

I would post my current work here but it's so wildly different from everything I did here I'm not sure it would gel with people.

I don't think I'll make anymore Doby content but rest assured I do check the blog every once in a while and if there's a question I can answer I'll try to. Miss you guys and I hope you're doing well.

Thirdbase is now one year old Thirdbasedumpsterfire will be on September 7th. I was going to wait until then to announce this but I don’t see the point.

I am out of ideas and motivation. So for the immediate future at least this blog will be dead. I love this story and this community! Thanks to everyone for the support and of course to RJ for making the story.

If I get more ideas I’ll come back but for now this is where it ends.

Ok so after that last ask I'm just imagining Doby writing a lowkey self insert power fantasy fic about killing transphobes, then everything happens and he's just like,

There’s actually land before time FanFiction on FanFiction.net and a lot of it is either wholesome , dark or a weird crossover . Like I read one where a bunch of pachycephalosaurs committing cannibalism on baby dinosaurs and blaming it on chomper . Also another one where chomper is basically a serial killer .

So I would say doby still writes it just darker

Yeah that doesn't surprise me. One of the most disturbing, (and surprisingly well written), gory body horror stories I've ever seen is a Word Girl fanfiction.

As for Doby, I agree. I don't think he ever stopped writing Land Before Time fanfiction. I imagine he made those little booklets as a kid and as he grew up he found Wattpad and was like "Woah other people write these too!" and binged. Not long after he made an account, started posting, and the rest is history.

Yes 1000%! I imagine as a little little kid he'd make those little books where you fold a couple pieces of paper and staple it. then he'd draw pictures and write about Littlefoot's adventures the best he could. I also feel like he made Jurassic Park Fanfiction once he got a little older.

That seems about right. I imagine he'd say that and people would act like he doesn't know anything about dinosaurs and he'd just go off with that dino knowledge. Like he was that kid who had Jurassic Park books and read them ten times over.

Good ideas! I'm not sure still what the big thing will be but i am working on more things now. If I'm honest I have ADHD and sometimes I hit a lull with creepypasta. I always like it but I get distracted by other fandoms sometimes. I also run low on ideas after almost a year. Asks help tho!

This is very interesting! Because think about it. Most of the reason for Doby’s turn to murder was how lost and alone he felt when John died. If he had a twin around would he have turned to murder at all? Would only one of them have done it? If they both did would one play look out while the other killed her? If they both decided to do it, who would deal the killing blow? And in slender mansion, what if one of them climbed the ranks faster than the other?

I do think it’d be adorable tho for them both to realize their trans together and Karen just haven’t a fucking meltdown at having not one, but two trans kids! lol
