thinking about this post i saw once, talking about how carefully measured canon remus is with his words- like that he never uses a contraction. he never misspeaks. and like!! obviously we do generally shy away from canon but i quite like this bit because it’s so sad. he has been hiding so many things for his whole life to the point that it shows through the way he speaks. he hides his being a werewolf. he hides lily and james’s existences for a time- not as the secret keeper, but just that they’re alive. he hides his relationship with sirius. he hides the order of the phoenix and their plans. once sirius returns, he hides himself and sirius away from the rest of the world. he’s had to hide so many things to the point where he is so carefully measured in his talking!!! because he can’t slip up about anything!!! and the people who know all of him are all dead!!! heartbreaking!!!

regulus who once got attacked by a dog when he was a kid and has been pretty scared of them ever since.

and sirius, seeing his animagus form for the first time and crying because he is going to scare his little brother.

just the idea of regulus always seeing this black dog somewhere around him, feeling his breath catch a bit on his throat and his hands tremble. but the dog always stays away, never one to get close, or make a noise. sometimes he even leaves with his tail between his legs.

it's such a tragedy, how bad sirius wants to get closer to his brother, and knowing he will never be allowed.

Gilderat (Peter Pettigrew x Gilderoy Lockhart) if ykyk, Lockhart's cologne, this is so fucking hilarious to me yet I'm entirely serious when I say I love them

Andromeda Tonks x Ted Tonks (I know they're not rare but there's not much content focused on them and they have such a story)

I just love these ships so much, especially the wlw ones, they hold a special place in my heart <3.
