I love man in a hurry’s cameo in hatchet town because it implies that 1) he carries a gun, 2) he has the gun because he’s in a hurry, 3) this is common knowledge, therefore 4) there’s a good chance he’s used it before, and 5) no one has done anything about this

Okay I have been thinking about the Hatchetfield Timeline again. And what will not leave my mind, is that the basissituation for TGWDLM and Blackfriday are incredibly similar but completly different from the one in NPMD.

While we are introduced into a world full of problems in the first two (the issues between Bill and Alice, Charlotte just being incredibly unhappy, the conflict between Tim and Tom, every single issue Becky Barnes is facing). The characters we are introduced to have one Thing in common: there biggest wish is to change their surroundings because their Situation is becoming unbearable to them (Paul is an exeption but I'll come to that later). For short: We are met with people with strong wishes and intentions, which in the longrun lead to them being used by the Lords in Black because they seem to be able to fulfill their wishes.

Now I think this differs hugely from the Situation in the beginning of NPMD. We are met with a bunch of Highschool student who are all quite unhappy with their situation but they arent desperate for power to change their situation because they are facing normal school problems (bullying, grades and similar). The characters are aware that these problems will disapear when they grow older and leave highschool. Highschool is killing them, not life. That is until Max dies and his issue is now not not being able to get the girl he wants but an unmet incredibly strong desire for revenge. All of the sudden the situation is different and while it is noted that people go missing in Hatchetfield everyday, people are suddendly very worried about the murders. Something has changed.

What has changed is that Max Jägerman had a need, a wish he wanted to be fulfilled more then anything else, which in my opinion opened him up for the Lords in Black. The entirerty of TGWDLM is about the followers of Pokey trying to figure out what Paul wants because that is what Pokey needs to have an access to his mind and controll it. Linda becomes Wigglys prophet after explaining what she wants. Max comes back as a demon after proclaiming his final wish with his last breath. The Lords in Black need to know exactly what a person desire to access them. That is why Pokey had such a hard time with Paul because he has no desire conquering all others until he lost everything and just wants the catastrophe around him to end.

These different set-ups make me believe that NPMD is a prequel to the other two. I think the events in NPMD happen in every timeline and lead to different chain reactions triggering the other events such as those in Black Friday, TGWDLM, Watcher World and most other Nightmaretime episodes. Max Jägerman and through him later Grace Chasity, who now shares her big desire for revenge with Max, bring the Lords in Black back into Hatchetfield and make them able to have their way with the town.

In conclusion: NPMD is a prequel to almost every other story happening in Hatchetfield (some nightmaretimes episodes such as Time Bastard have a similar status to NPMD) because it shows how desire and pain find their way into the town.

Please tell me we won't have to wait another 4 years for more episodes! Because these last two were great!

do you know what?

I miss long seasons.

I miss seasons that had 20 episodes and half of them could be cut and nothing would be lost to the story.

I miss the episodes where nothing fucking happens but you get to see the main cast goofing around with one another. You get to see their interactions, their relationships develop, their day-to-day lives and how they all fit together in them.

You get the Christmas/halloween/valentine's special -is it needed? certainly not. but is it good? is it entertaining? does it give the show and characters life? do we, the viewers, enjoy it? YES!

give me long stories!! give me little quarrelling spats between characters that can be resolved in one episode with no need to have an impact on the greater story! make these stories real!

let me enjoy them before they end!!!

I absolutely love Hazbin Hotel and the little world that's been created, but I can't help but feel disappointed we're only getting two seasons of 8 episodes.

back in the early 2000's 16 episodes would have been ONE season, never mind the entire thing.

show my angel dust and husk and nifty and sir penthouse living their daily lives in the hotel! show me Charlie brainstorming ways to redeem sinners! give me Charlie forcing the hotel staff to do cringe-y exercises! give me an entire episode of Vox trying to follow alastor through security cameras! Give me husks typical day! Give me a special through the eyes of nifty on a mission to irradiate the hotel of bugs! Give me sir penthouse and the egg boys up to no good!

give me something other than the bare necessities to make the story flow

6 months have nearly gone by in the hotel, and it feels like 1 month.

First of all: I LOVE the New episodes!

Second of all: I am calling it now: Alastor wants to rule the Ring of pride! He is obviously very invested in pushing Lucifer away from Charlie and to get under his skin. He wants to annoy him enough for Lucifer to start a fight. And think about it: Husk said that Al is also not a free man. I think He sold his soul for the power to beat Lucifer himself in a fight and to take his Power. That's why He is at the hotel. To get close to Charlie and consequetly close to Lucifer to destroy him.

Third of all: THAT SONG WITH LUCIFER AND ALASTOR WAS GREAT! GET THAT SHIT ON SPOTIFY NOW

He's just the biggest attention whore

A white man... what else would he be

He's just so obsessed with Alastor (i would say pathetic, but I am not the person who should judge him for that)

He can play video games on his screen

Vox likes to watch commercials

He had/has an on/off relationship with Val

Vizie says that if Vox was a music genre it would be dubstep

Velvette

Val calls her "Babydoll" (I would puke)

She and Vox are just tired of Val's whinning

She's just crazy (I think she's really reasonable for that considering the amount of time she has spend around Val)

She can cook

She is the only character I have seen so far to have "musical talent" listed as an ability

Valentino

He likes to abuse his employees and to sexually assult/harass people (what the actual...)

Val wears fishnets under his coat

There are so many words I have to describe Val "charming" is really not among them

He has been described as "a huge fuckboi" (i cannot)

He may has a cane collection

Val wants to visit the Lust ring (Oz would kill him)

He had a pet named Queef that he killed for annoying him (why am I even suprised anymore?)

Sir Pentious

Ah yes Sir Pentious greatest joys: Attempting to take over hell, causing chaos, imagining himself to be hip and tea

I have come to believe whoever runs the official Hazbin Hotel account at the moment is the exact same person who also runs the Good Omens Twitter account. Come on the shipping, the sass.

It's the same person and no one can convince me otherwise and they are one of us.

Okay I need to talk about the New Helluva Boss music video!

So, in the Video Blitzø is represented by the moon, which is such an amazing metaphor. I could literally die!

Here are the reasons for that:

1. Him revolving around Stolas?! It shows that they somehow always come back to each other but always stay distant. He is moving around Stolas but always only showing his light side, showing what is easy to show, but never the dark side, always keeping control.

2. THE DARK SIDE! For the first part of the Video we see Stolas almost chaising around the moon to somehow get behind it, to get to the dark side. Stolas want's to See Blitzøs dark side and be there for him, but Blitzø won't let them. Stolas knows how hurt Blitzø is, but isn't Sure how to approach that. But the when he gets to the dark side he sees the hurt Blitzø and want to comfort him. He genuilly want's to be there for him, but the moon turns again shutting him out.

3. They always meet on full moons for their deal so It's such a cool draw back to that information from the literal first ever Episode.

4. THE ICARUS REFERENCE! At the end of the video Stolas is making one last jump towards the moon but isnt able to reach it. Instead he is falling while still reaching for it. This is an amazing reference to the greek myth of Icarus, in which the young hero literally flys to close to the sun and falls to his death. This on the one hand shows how much Blitzø means to Stolas and how fatal a break between the two would be for him, and on the other hand it makes clear that Stolas is willing to try one more time. He is willing to "make ammends" and find a way to make it comfortable for Blitzø. But he still is expecting this last try to fail, because he won't be strong enough, not juming high enough.

5. The whole night theme showing how Stolas feels like Blitzø and him is something not fit for daylight. Not fit outside of the safeness of the quiet, dark night.

6. Him pushing the literal earth away for the moon? He doesn't care about anything else then them. Not even the entire earth is more important to him then Blitzø.

To conclude: Stolas is absolutely undeniably in love but is so scared to get hurt. Blitzø is not in contact with his emotions. And the next episode will make me CRY!
