Originally her portrayal was Rocky on the rep part, but as the show progressed they fixed it and she is now voiced by a trans woman. Her voice actor decided to not deepen her voice to portray Marshmallow and just use her speaking voice. This has lead most fans to headcannon she was early transition at her first experience and went through voice training!

klinefelter syndrome is the most common known sex chromosome variation in human beings. most people with klinefelter syndrome are never diagnosed due to its variance in presentation and its typically mild effects on health. its main signs are symptoms associated with low androgens (azoospermia, reduced penile and testicle size, sparse body hair), intellectual disability, and above average height.

blue was chosen for its association with klinefelter syndrome awareness. a rainbow circle was chosen from the autism infinity symbol due to klinefelter's common overlap with autism and intellectual disability. a paw with the colors of a common calico cat was chosen due to male calicos commonly having klinefelter syndrome, three toes was chosen due to klinefelter having 3 sex chromosomes, and it was intentionally made to look like a little guy. :)

an alternative was included with an XXY overlapping symbol in case someone doesnt like the calico symbolism.

Kai is a cannon/Implied transfem! Her movie can be seen as a trans allagory for transitioning (she transitions from baseball<-->softball), as well as having hints throughout the movie!

Roxy is cannonically trans, but it depends on what version. In one way she's a cis woman, in another they are nonbinary/transmasc. This one is a headcannon! (for her candy version..)

MIZUKI is a cannon trans character! Here is a video explaining her awesome story as a trans character!

Essentially, she is a trans girl who feels she has to hide her identity from her friends because she is bullied for it. Her now friends notice somethings up and can't figure out what's wrong with her. Mizuki was going to tell her friend face to face on the rooftop, but then was outed before she could share it. And that's where the story ends for now...

BRIDGET is also a cannon transfem!

Here is about her straight from the developers!

Essentially, she was born as a twin to her twin brother, but her town had a superstition about a male set of twins so to protect her her family made her live as a girl. Her family felt bad & she decided to live as a man to help change the negative stereotypes. The superstition faded, and nothing was keeping her from doing whatever she wanted anymore, but she still felt she was a girl.
