Hey, I’m so sorry I know you don’t know me and I’m not following you, I don’t mean to pry or invade your privacy I’d just love to share something with you more like I need you, I’m Ameera 23 years old, and I’m calling out to the community 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 to please support us so me and my girlfriend can come out, we have dreams about going for pride rallies,clubs, to be able to kiss in a park express love with no restrictions or fear of being caught, we are both from a typical religious Muslim family, we are know as best friends by our families and friends, we have made this decision to come out to everyone so many times but couldn’t because of how homophobic our parents are due to religious values and ethics. i have to do this again, unfortunately!

i've been homeless for a little over a year now. the place my mother and i have been staying is no longer an option, and we have to be out by tomorrow (august 8th 2023). we currently have no other shelter except our car, and i really dont know what we're going to do. its me, my mom, 3 cats and 5 kittens, and none of us have a place to go.

the money my mom is currently making isn't enough to support all of us, and we need extra money to spend on me getting an ID so i can get a job and/or get commissions up and running. alongside that, we just really really really need all the help we can possibly get in the financial department

edit 2: the kicking-out-date was correct when i made this, but the person we're staying with has been nice enough to let us hang around until he's made sure the RV is ready to go (no leaks and whatnot). so im still at the house. if thats important information

Thanks for all of the recent feedback around Community Labels being incorrectly applied to content. In particular, we appreciate the input we’ve received from the LGBTQIA+ community and understand the frustrations from folks who felt that their content was unfairly labeled. When we realized this was happening, we immediately investigated and are taking steps to prevent this from happening again.

The LGBTQIA+ community makes up about a quarter of the Tumblr community. It is important for us to support all Tumblr users, especially those whose safe spaces are under threat in certain parts of the world.

As you know, alongside of the rollout of Community Labels we also expanded the types of content allowed on Tumblr as a way to welcome more creativity, art, and self-expression. Our goals remain the same today. Human error happens and we apologize to anyone who has been impacted by these mistakes.

We are working to better understand what happened and will follow up with more information soon.

Please bear with me as I've never had to make a post like this before.

My best friend is in need of serious financial aid in regards to her gorgeous kitty, Sasha. The whole story can be found on the GoFundMe, but I'll give you a short summary:

Upon a visit to the vet to get what they thought was an injury looked at, they were told it was actually bone cancer. Injuries can sometimes "aggravate" cancers like this, but at the same time, it might be the reason why they caught it when they did, as she wasn't showing any symptoms before this injury.

Due to the insane medical prices in the US, this really is a case of if they can't get the amputation paid for, then they will have to strongly consider putting Sasha down which is devastating in itself but especially when they've had her since she was a kitten & she's 14 now! Funds will either go towards getting the amputation sorted as well as all the aftercare for that, or just to keep her as comfortable as possible for her final weeks with us. It's really sad that any life on Earth can be cut short all because of lack of funds.

Of course, if you're reading this and have no means to help financially then that's okay! But please consider reblogging & sharing around so hopefully we can find some people who are willing/able to help with this.

I'm aware there are A LOT of fake posts for GoFundMe's, especially regarding cats and animals. I'm sure once my friend has printed medical bills she'll be happy to post them on the GoFundMe page as well. But again, I understand the weariness regarding these posts so I totally understand if people aren't comfortable donating, but at this point, she has no choice but to ask for help with this, so please consider reblogging at least!
