I do agree with your points. And correct me if I'm wrong, because at this point I haven't watched it all the way through for 8 years (I just started a rewatch), but I thought part of the reason why Laurence left was because at that time he was struggling with the mental pull of being a Shadow Knight, and then when he found out she was pregnant it knocked what resistance he did have against the pull. That is what I always thought happened. Because it doesn't seem like the kind of thing for him to do if he were in the right mind

I started with the donghua first. It goes kinda fast so it can be hard to understand, and they also skip some parts/ censor the wangxian interactions.

If I were to get into Grandmaster of demonic cultivation, which media should I start at?

Well,this is based on opinion i believe...

A lot of people have mixed feelings regarding the live action (the untamed/cql) since a lot of the plot is dropped out/changed for some of it, however the acting and casting is top tier and it really makes it worth watching in my opinion... If you're looking for the story only to understand the plot and everything you should definitely try the actual novel/manhwa.. I haven't finished the donghua so i cant really give my opinion on that..

Wei Wuxian ! Pro cyclist turned bike courier turned pro cyclist again??? Or is it a fluke??

WQ convinces wwx to enter into a road race in Gusu, where lwj is also competing and has been the race leader for the past 3 years. Wwx shocks everyone by hiding in the pack and at the last minute, breaks away and beats lwj to the finish line of the mountain checkpoint by using short intervals of an odd sprint climbing technique lwj hasnt seen before. He ends up winning and earns the title King of the Mountains, unseating lwj from the title and royally pissing him off in the process.

The long sloping mountains of Gusu are Lwj’s home, and he has trained there every day for the past 10 years. Climbing is his specialty, he’s honed his technique, perfected it. He gets to the top faster than anyone else. Until now.

Lwj is looking forward to returning the favor at the next race, but wwx never shows. Months later, lwj happens to be in Yiling training for his next race and in a chance encounter, crosses paths again with wwx while he’s on delivery. Yiling has very steep, short hills all throughout the city, which is why lwj is there to take advantage of them. Now lwj can see where wwx learned his sprint-climb technique, if this is the terrain he bikes all day long.

Wwx is delighted to see the handsome cyclist he almost lost to, but doesnt have time to stand around and chat— he has deliveries to complete!! He lets lwj come along with him, if he can keep up of course ;) it’s gruelling lwj has to admit, but he does keep up and atthe end of the day, he challenges wwx to enter another road race.

My house is kinda haunted, but not in the since that it's haunted by a bunch of creepy or unknown ghosts. No, it's haunted by a bunch of dogs (I live with my great Grandma and she has never not had a dog of her own, she buries them in the back yard), my grandpa, my great grandpa, and my great- great grandmother (we aren't sure if she still is here anymore, she definitely used to be, but my great grandma was supposed to spread her ashes and instead she procrastinated for 20ish years and just kept them in her ROOM of all places until my great grandpa died and just went ahead and buried her while we were at it)

I'm not particularly afraid of the house since I more or less know the ghosts (the great great grandma and my grandpa passed away when I was like, 1) and the only time I'm really scared or paranoid is after I've watched a Sam and Colby video and it's dark out, so I'm afraid of seeing something outside, in the corn field or right outside the windows. Though they have their moments.

They aren't particularly active, but sometimes lights like to turn off and flicker, I also very often see and feel what seems to be dogs (they run across the room and brush past my legs in the tight kitchen), my grandpa is a tease (at least we hope it's him) and likes to MIMIC VOICES into different rooms. The only experience that I have had with my great- great grandma (that I don't even remember myself) me and my mom shared the room that used to be her's and my mom was spending the night with her boyfriend (now my dad) so I had the room myself. So then my mom came back in the morning she asked how my night was and I said 'it was fine, my great grandma came in to sleep with me, she slept in your bed' and my mom thought that it was weird and she asked my great grandma if she did, my great grandma, did not in fact, sleep in my mom's bed, so my mom asked me if I was sure and if it could have been a dream and I was like 'no, because I remember looking at your bed and seeing her long white hair'

So I think about that sometimes. That also happens to be the room myself great grandpa passed away in (hospice)

Idk, I just think hauntings are really interesting, even if they creep me out and make me paranoid, :).

I think what is really funny about AO3 getting issues, is that every single time it doesn't hit me until a day or so later.
