I’m begging y’all to stop using epic as replacement for the odyssey

I promise you epic is similar and based off it directly but that does not mean it’s like the odyssey /info

if you don’t like reading I really recommend just trying to find an audiobook (you may have to pay) but if you do read do read the odyssey. It’s an AMAZING piece of text (I am not forcing anyone to read it or listen to the audiobook)

also Anna Lea has such a beautiful voice, she suits Penelope SO much. I love Penelope in EPIC, in mythology too. But her voice in EPIC is so beautiful and comforting, too

little rant, room for lighthearted debate, this ain’t a tough topic:

I feel like line between being in a fandom and just liking a piece of media is blurred from what I’ve seen. For example, someone could say they like a cartoon. Most assume that person is part of the fandom, when they’re not. You can like a piece of media or something without involving yourself in the fandom. A fandom is something you choose to be in. A fandom is filled with things created by the fans and is just a place for the fans to come together. Like a social gathering (except you have a choice to go or not), you don’t have to go. Just stay home, eat your own food and have your own fun. maybe find some friends to talk about it with, but you don’t have to go to the gathering in the end :)
