The crash scene while escaping Tantiss was pretty satisfying. Though im suprised with the landing they had there weren’t more ‘negative effects’
Makes one wonder what’s going through Omega’s head right now. Throughout the episode she’s continually coming up with new ideas to get out of thier current situation (ie calling Hunter [which is shot down fast lol], swindling the transport lady, gambling with people and an imperial officer, etc)
Then Crosshair is all grumpy and then we have ✨sad omega ✨
Then we have this side to omega which is something I can get down with. Blast these imperials
Did anybody notice Omega moving Dr. Scalder's head to a sidelying/recovery position? It's to keep the airway open/so she won't suffocate in case she vomits (from the sedative).
Omega out here showing mercy & compassion despite what Scalder did. That's my girl--🥹🥹
If Omega isn’t going to be in Ahsoka season 2, I am going to be extremely surprised and disappointed by that choice.
Like, there’s a good reason for why Omega should be in that season. Hera needs someone who can help her find Sabine and Ahsoka and who would be willing to help her disrespect the New Republic government for not doing anything to find her family despite everything she has done for them?
Omega. She knows full well what disrespect looks like and The Batch would have a bunch of stories to tell Omega about times they were disrespected for just doing their jobs. Hera telling her the New Republic won’t help her despite saving them a ton of time during the war? Omega has her ship ready, and she and the majority of the Ghost crew are off to find Sabine and Ahsoka.
Besides, Ahsoka is one of Rex’s closest friends, and if Rex wanted to help, Omega would probably accompany him just in case.
Read something about how when the Batch was going down cables, Omega didn't have gloves so she went across hand to hand, and I think the amount of detail the writers put in is so cool.
Hope we see more of these guys sometime. At least Omega who seems to be going out in the big wide galaxy.
my highly specific star wars take? if the bad batch was released/written/a concept before rebels then omega would've been a recurring character if not a member of the ghost crew. sabine thinks she's the coolest person ever and ezra and zeb are both a little (a lot) afraid of her. she's best friends with hera. omega and kanan hated each other a little at first but now they'd probably die for each other but will never admit it. there's one episode where omega just says "my brothers are coming to help" and then clone force 99 plus phee and emerie all just appear and ezra and zeb are like "how are there MORE OF YOU?!". omega is simultaneously the best and worst influence on everyone around her. she probably teaches sabine how to use a sniper rifle and teaches ezra fancy knife tricks he always fails at. she and rex act like annoying siblings all the time. she's constantly saying "i know a guy" and then some high profile criminal shows up.
Looking at this I can't stop thinking about how now they're going to live day by day, enjoying a peaceful life full of love and laughter in their little slice of heaven, and one of those days Hunter will be hit with a realization that he doesn't have to kneel to be on Omega's eye level anymore. And his back will creak when she falls asleep under that tree and he'll pick her up to carry her to bed. Another day he'll notice she's too tall to be seamlessly tucked under his chin. And she'll show up to breakfast one morning with his bandana in her hair because it got long enough. One of those days she'll become too tall, too big, too old to be carried around but it won't stop her from jumping onto Wrecker's back. People will turn around when she walks by and it will dawn on him that it's because of her beauty. She'll pick up a knife and twirl it between her fingers as smoothly as he used to do and she won't even think about it much but he'll be replaying it in his head for days.
And one day he'll hear the words he's been secretly dreading for over a decade. She'll get her own ship. Get in touch with some old friends, maybe find some new ones. She'll tell him that she's ready, then hug him just like she used to do when she was a little girl. And it will break his heart into a million pieces but he'll watch with a smile as she flies to the sky, ready for her next adventure. And he'll know that he raised her right.
Yall just saying it’s hitting me the fact that Omega is still technically older than her brothers. Like she’s a young adult now, but Hunter is going grey!
There has never been a show that has had me so invested in characters emotionally. I thought for sure that I was going to be depressed after the finale.
The first 2/3 I was so stressed and tense and things weren't looking good until they were, until they weren't.
Then the last 1/3 I am so happy and thrilled. This is exactly what I wanted to happen!
Now my favorite girl is going to fight the empire in the rebellion. I hope we see more of her, with the Phoenix Squadron maybe, maybe Rex and his boys.
