Who makes the captions at Watcher and can I buy them a Christmas present? These feel like an inside joke that only us deaf, hard-of-hearing and auditory processing disordered folks are privy to. 

We’re so often forgotten about or overlooked on YouTube; made to put up with shitty auto-generated captions (comparable to trying to have a conversation with Ryan’s spirit box) or reliant on other fans to make them for us. Someone puts effort into these not only being accurate, but funny, and I love them for it.

So happy that Ashton got to live out my fantasy of having someone else experience what it's like dealing with my body/pain. I just want a Freaky Friday moment so I can prove to myself that what I go through is real, and that I'm not just being a little bitch about it.

Like other critters have said, I didn't even know I needed this episode but holy fuck it was so fucking validating

As a chronically ill person (with chronic pain), I have day dreamed for YEARS, possibly decades, about a doctor being able to just... to into my body and feel what I'm feeling so that I don't have to struggle to find words (or deal with the very real possibility of a doctor telling me it's not real).

That scene made me cry. It was so real and so genuine

Just having thinking thoughts about Ashton and FCG’s experience assuming his form. The construct responsible for healing their friends experienced pain and power and how they were interlinked in their best friend. Ashton has been a really good visual representation of chronic pain with the gold filled cracks but I really teared up during FCG’s experience where we got to see just how painful Ashton’s experience really is.

As someone with extreme chronic pain, having a doctor understand and see your pain while also admiring your strength for fighting despite it? Incredibly rare and incredibly validating. 

I’m rambling but I don’t think I’ve ever felt more Seen from an episode of D&D before. I adore Tal for sharing him with us.

Something about Ashton only being able to wheeze “thank you,” at Imogen and FCG, their bloody face in her hands, after everything. All he really wanted was to know. And for someone to see. He wants someone to see him so badly.

Ashton saying “I’ll tell you but I have to get drunk first,” Ashton trying to punch himself in the face to get Imogen and FCG out. Ashton getting beat bloody in the hopes that someone will look at them.

Ashton “fuck off.” Ashton “just don’t,” and the terrible relief of someone knowing the most awful, vulnerable things about you without you having to tell them.
