I recently visited Galloway Forest Park in Dumfries and Galloway in the south of Scotland. The Forest Park covers 774 square kilometres (we didn't see it all 馃槀) and is the biggest forest in the UK. It has many beautiful walks, hiking routes, hill walking, cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing and ice climbing. We stuck to some of the more gentle walking routes and explored the beautiful scenery and nature parks within the forest, including wild goats and red deer!

This is a visit to Kinneil House in Bo'ness in central Scotland. It's an historic mansion built in 1677 on the remains of a 15th or 16th century towerhouse. The building was saved from destruction in 1936 when 16th century mural paintings were discovered and it's now in the care of Historic Environment Scotland. We really enjoyed visiting! 馃榾

The is the beautiful little Victorian Spa Town of Strathpeffer in the Highlands of Scotland. 馃槏 It's about half an hour from Inverness and used to be a popular spa resort due to its sulphurous springs and surrounding countryside in the 18th century. It's still a popular little village and surrounded by lots of beautiful walking routes, including Ben Wyvis. 馃榾

I recently took a trip to Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway in the south of Scotland. It's a small place but was also designated as Scotland's national book town in 1998, so as an avid reader I had to visit, even if a lot of things were shut (it was at New Year 馃槀).

A couple of weeks ago we visited the little town of Dunkeld in Perthshire in Scotland - it's a lovely little place and also home to a fantastic bakery by a former Great British Bakeoff contestant! 馃槀 Dunkeld is probably most famous for it's beautiful nature walks though, in particular The Hermitage walk which takes in the very impressive Black Linn waterfall! 馃槏 We managed to catch the last of the autumnal beauty before this week's snow came! 馃槀 Hope you enjoy!

Explore inside the National Galleries of Scotland and see if they're worth visiting! These are art galleries in the centre of Edinburgh, hosting hundreds of paintings from well known artists such as van Gogh, Monet, and Manet, as well as loads of less well known ones too. It's an incredible collection and we spent hours there looking around! Hope you enjoy and please watch and reblog if you can! 馃槏

Explore this beautiful waterfall in the Highlands of Scotland. 馃槏 It's Rogie Falls, a stunning little walk near Strathpeffer and Contin, and a popular stop on the North Coast 500 route. It shows the walk between the carpark and the falls too so you can see how long it takes to get there. Hope you enjoy! 馃榾馃槏

Inside Elgin Cathedral - Is it worth the money?
We visited the beautiful historic ruins of Elgin Cathedral, built in 1224, to see if it was worth a look around! We'd never been before so it was all a new experience. I loved the stone carvings - incredible! I didn't enjoy the spiral staircases however - not anyone's fault, but they were very hard to walk up and down! Hope you enjoy this look around! 馃榾

The ultimate walk around Dundee - such an underrated city! In this video, we see inside the V&A Museum, the HMS Unicorn, RRS Discovery, and the McManus Gallery and Museum. We also walked around the city centre, including Caird Hall, the waterfront, Dundee Law where there are beautiful views over the city, and of course the two football stadiums uniquely situated on one street, Tannadice and Dens Park. Maybe even the odd character from the Dandy and Beano! Enjoy! 馃槏

What a brilliant hidden gem, thirty minutes from Edinburgh. It's The Great Polish Map of Scotland, a large 3D map, created by a Polish soldier who came to Scotland during the war. Set in the beautiful grounds of Barony Castle Hotel, it's well worth a visit!
