A couple of weeks ago we visited the little town of Dunkeld in Perthshire in Scotland - it's a lovely little place and also home to a fantastic bakery by a former Great British Bakeoff contestant! 😂 Dunkeld is probably most famous for it's beautiful nature walks though, in particular The Hermitage walk which takes in the very impressive Black Linn waterfall! 😍 We managed to catch the last of the autumnal beauty before this week's snow came! 😂 Hope you enjoy!

apologies for the Late Reply!! I've been brainstorming What To Say to this ask for days, since before this i didn't think about dalv/vlad all that much. so here's a hopefully Cohesive peek into his (and martlet's!!) character and backstory + some doodles!

(i have plans for a bigger piece that ill start Later On when i have the Time.)

i do want to bring vlad a more active role to the story in yellowfell compared to uty. but like the au itself, he and martlet are still a work in progress, so dont be too surprised if things change in the future.

one day, vlad met this strange, spunky teenager named martlet and now she Wont Leave Him Alone. she tells him she sticks around because she likes the fact he didn't try to attack her at first glance, to which she took as a cue to attach herself to him and now they're somehow on friendly??? terms? (the same thing that happened to chujin. its pretty effective, apparently.)

vlad would never admit he likes her company, if only because she wont stop bullying him about being a "lonely, sad adult who's only friend is a homeless kid," (she's right)

his response was, "if it wasn't for those stripes, you'd be fried dust," except, he didn't say that out loud because his social anxiety Wont Go Away even in the presence of a dumb teen

okay, now for the major plot divergences: kanako wasn't involved in the snowdin attack. rather, it's Vlad and martlet.

they do get hurt— vlad mostly, the scar never really healed— but luckily chujin was at the scene and chased the human away to waterfall with axis (and proceeded to Not kill them)

of course, chujin wouldn't want to get reported for hiding a living child away to poke needles at (politely), so for a while, Vlad and Martlet are made to believe they Did (indirectly, but still in some way,) caused the death of a child.

they try not to think too much about that, or how they could've died that day.

(martlet is suspicious, but she wouldn't dare question chujin.)

then, it comes time that chujin needs a subject. he needs a monster's soul, from someone "pure" and "uncorrupted".

but no, Chujin couldn't ever touch Kanako or Ceroba. Not himself either, his family needs him; he can't be reckless, no matter how much he wants to Help Everyone. he hates hurting others, he truly does, but in this world, he Doesn't Have A Choice, does he?

he needs somebody Nobody Will Miss if they were to one day disappear.

so, he visits snowdin. he finds Vlad, already packing up to shamefully retreat into the ruins. He... "convinces" him Not To. he gives him the Opportunity to be a savior, to be greater, to be somebody other than himself. All he has to do is to come with him instead. start a New Life, somewhere far away from snowdin and those ruins.

offer up his soul because then, and only then, will his Sins be Forgiven.

vlad agrees, because it's easier to believe someone else's words about you serving a Greater Purpose rather than accept that you are nothing. so, he moves into a little town far east and meets someone very, very special :)

There was Baby Y/N, laying on the ground. She slept so peacefully for a Sky person, the wind blew in her small short hair, awakening the baby.

She got up yawning, she was not aware of where she was at all, she just knew this was a nice napping spot.

she sat up, walking around, Seeds of eywa flowed around her, not even the creatures bothered the child, they saw no threat.

She came across a body of water looking in and seeing her reflection, she giggled playing in the water.

Soon a man, a navi? fell into the water from the waterfall, he looked at y/n with soft eyes. "Oh no, who left their baby." He said with worry looking behind him.

He couldnt leave what was chasing him to kill you. the thanator came from the darkness making the panicked man run faster scooping you up.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT I HOPE YOUR MOTHER ISSNT MISSING YOU RIGHT NOWWW." he said in a sort of panic.

Eventually you did get away, well, the strange man carrying you helped with that. But the poor man didnt have his weird loud instruments.

he stood in a spot panting, but you were focused on the shadow moving above you guys on a small cliff, you saw a tall woman.

She was beautiful, you smiled and giggled reaching for her, she readied her bow aiming at the man holding you, seeds of eywa landed on the arrow and she lowered it.

"Whats so funny huh?" the man said holding you up making you laugh more and clap your hands. he smiled holding you closer to his chest.

The lady was gone? oh well, she was pretty. jake walked through this forest, setting you aside near a small puddle crafted a wooden spear, and a torch, he wrapped them together smiling at the idea he had.

he heard growling , instinctively rushing to you, the slim yet small green eyed beasts snapped at you, you sniffled in fear, your eyes threatening tears.

the black haired tall man swung the torch at them, readying his spear,you turned your head seeing the woman rush over with her bow, she was fast, she had slain the beasts without jakes help .

when the battle was over , she'd put her knee on a one of the beasts neck , saying something you couldnt understand. You looked at jake,who looked at you then shrugged.he picked you up heading to the water for his weapon he dropped during the fight.

When he got it, he looked around admiring the planets bioluminescent beauty ( glow = pretty color). His eyes sparkled just like yours, his eyes wandered down to yours, a soft smile forming.

He went back over to the woman speaking " Look, i know you probably dont understand this but uh- " he said trying to speak to the girl, and yet she continued on with whatever she was speaking. "thank you.." the man finished.The woman continued, looking around, one hand on the corpse of what she slaughtered " thank you." he said again expecting a reply.

She ignored him continuing on what she was doing, slitting the animals throat. "That was impressive" He added on, she glanced up at him with an annoyed look, getting up and moving " We wouldve been screwed if you hadn't come along. It was.." he said with breathy voice. were adults always so tired? "hey wait a second?? where are you going!" he said, the man thats carrying you followed her with you in his arms, you couldnt walk yet, you didnt know how .

She strutted through the woods, while the man carrying you could barley keep up even though she was just walking. "hey wait up-" he said trying his best to follow her and keep you safe. she turned faster, trying to lose the strange man.

"just.. hey slow down-" he followed her, he was presistent , "look, wait up, i just wanted to say thabks for killing those things." he grabbed her arm, causing her to whip arround and hit his nose with her bow.

She was careful enough to not hit you. he stumbled back,trying not to fall with you in his arms " Ah- damn" he said using his free hand to hild his nose. "Dont thank." she said aiming the tip of her bow to the mans chest near you. " you dont thank for this."

"This is sad. very sad only." she spat venom at the pathetic man insulting him, trying to get her point across.

"Okay okay in sorry" he said "whatever we- what ever i did in sorry" he said once more in an apologetic manor. " Alll this is your fault. they did not need to die!" she said,the pretty womans motions matching her strict tone.

"My fault ? they attacked me how is i- "YOUR FAULT!" she said pressing the tip, the sharp tip at his chest once more. jake backed up for your safety, the angered woman got closer. " your fault." she repeated.

"Easy easy." he motioned at her with the free hand. "youre like a baby! making noises and not knowing what to do! and even the one youre carrying is calm." she said attacking the man with her words."easy.." he said in a quiter calmer tone, all this made you tired, you closed your eyes resting easy.

When you woke up you were with the man, another approaching him, you only heard the word "jake" before your eyes closed again, re opening to you being in the womans lap while jake ate his food.

The womans long fingers caressed yours, you opened your hand to hold the finger, the man you think jake is, smiled to the woman.

"whats your name?" he asked

"neytiri." Neytiri responded.

"neytilee..." he said loosely.

"Neytiri!" she said smacking the back of his head.

he winced in pain making you giggle, the two smiling.

FEW WEEKS LATER.

You sat in neytiris den, you didnt know where either of your parental figures went,in came Tsu'tey.

he lifted you up with a smile " Come skybaby! you have great things to learn today!" you giggled, your hands touching his face.

He despised jake,but loved you dearly, your adorable eyes,your chubby cheeks and your gummy smile.With tsutey he tried teach you his name and other key names, and how to walk but that always failed.

Untill now.

You walked beside him, well poorly, His Direhorse careful enough to not knock you over. you made it over to the ranch where neytiri and jake were , you saw them train , then you laughed when he fell into the mud.Of course tsu'tey was tormenting him like he always does, neytiri walked over to you smiling, seeing how you could walk now. "jake,look at her! shes walking !" neytiri said with a smile, jake MANHANDLED tsu'tey out the way. he smiled, tears of joy dropping on the floor as he picked you up Spinning you around."Jake sully, we never asked you. what is your daughters name?" Tsu'tey said asuming you were his.

"Eywa" Neytiri lied for him, well not necesarily, she always thought the name would fit you, its as if you were eywa, how the animals liked you, and protected you.Tsu'tey looked confused, but then nodded understanding "understandable, but its the little ones nap time" she motioned for a hunter to take her from jakes arms, he stepped back hissing.

"Jake sully. the child needs nap time." Tsu'tey said, but Jake didn't budge, you were the closest thing he had to a child, for now.Neytiri placed an arm on jakes shoulder, he looked Tsu’tey up and down about six times before handing him over to you, who handed you to a hunter.

you waved bye to jake! You didn't want your friend to be sad, once you reached jakes den, you rested peacefully where jake did, closing your eyes.

TIMESKIP!

(the day of disaster)

You woke up to smoke, fire ,planes and people. You wanderes to the ground searching for neytiri and jake, or even tsu’tey.

there you saw your former teacher. On the ground dying, with neytiri and jake by him.

You ran over happy to see him, you didnt understand, so you touched his face,neytiri looked at you gasping, not being able to hold her tears.

“Suuutey.” you said, your first word, his eyes looked over to yours, a smile forming on his face “ i see you, Little eywa.” he smiled, putting a small necklace on you.

He held your face, his eyes going to jake. “I see you Jake sully, toruk makto.” he said, a single tear dropping from jakes eye as the light left his eyes, his hand falling to the ground.

You got picked up by neytiri, seeds of eywa landing on your head. The two turned to the crowd of navi. “He wants the war, he wants our land we’ll take it to him him.” said jake raising his bow, the crowd agreeing.

A woman wrapped cloth around neytiris back, where she was able to carry you.

out of nowhere machines came, planes, robots, jets, all of that. Many navi fought and many died, so much happened you could barely process it. You were only 16 months old, so much happened in the blink of an eye, Neytiri fought flawlessly with you on her back.

We were losing though, you didn't like that, you cried, loud, and a rumble started, creatures of eywa big and small soon emerging, Neytiri looked at the creatures and then you, having a flashback to what jake had said to eywa. “You really are little eywa.” she smiled pressing the device on her neck.

“Jake.. Both eywas have heard you..” she said. “EYWA HAS HEARD YOU!” she raised her bow shouting.

You felt your eyes forcefully close, opening again when you were being held by mo'at. you were so tired from wasting energy on calling eywa for help. she was above a stump, jake next to a human body, na'vi were seated before the view.

soon your papa's eyes opened as he stood up, neytiri hugged him , he whinced abit for hugging her back. "Ma jake! " she nuzzled her head into her neck.

"Neytiri...you faught pregnant and with child on back.. bravery yet stupidity." Mo'at said , she was worried for two of her grandbabies and her daughter.

the lovebirds hugs ended, jake turned go mo'at looking at you. "is there a way to make her.. my daughter " he said with hope.

Mo'at shook her head "silly questions A toruk makto asks." she smiled for once. " She already is yours. in here and here" she pointed to your mind and heart.

"take great care of her. dearest care"

Jake ane neytiri nodded, Mo'at looked at you one more time, finding out you grew a braid? like navi? "how is this possible.." She said.

Jake and Neytiri were confused,she held you up showing your two suprise adoption parents. They gasped, neytiri held it trying to think of a reasonable explaination.

"Maybe she evolved..? but isnt it too soon for her to." your father jake said taking you from your grandmother.

"Its not to soon. she is child of Eywa mother." Neytiri said proudly, with confidence.

Mo'at looked at your eyes, searching deep in your soul, you smiled at her. your gentle aura greeting her, a seed of eywa again falling on your nose."She is indeed Neytiri. More then you realise" Mo'at said giving you a light peck on your forehead, she mumbmled something,a proctection prayer. "Do not let this child into the wrong hands." Mo'at said.

YEARS LATER

Y/n was now 15 Years old,she had went exploring with her sibblings the sully kids, but walked off with kiri. "My old sleeping spot.." You said, remembering, you sat criss cross applesauce.

kiri laid down next to you head near your legs " I know we ask this alot Y/N but why did Mother lie and say your name was eywa?" Kiri said, her pretty eyes turning to your gentle (E/c) eyes.

"Because she didnt want people to think Papa stole me from some random woman, he actually found me when he was being chased by a thanator. He didnt want me to die so he picked me up and ran." You said, untangling your hair with your fingers, it was still messy, but at least it looked nice.

"Unlike spider, you have a braid, like Na'vi, i dont understand why." Kiri said sitting up. "Eywa blessed me with many gifts, but lets rest, questions are for you yourself to answer" You said, laying down as kiri giggled.

"And you dont stink like him, your mannerisms is alot like mothers" Kiri said laying down, she laughed at ber own words, you laughed at them too.

"Grew up with navi ever since i was 16 months old." you said closing your eyes.

You opened them again in your dream, you were where you and kiri were sleeping, but it was where a pregnant woman was. She was a na’vi yet looked like you.” I'm having his child...“ the woman said, she looked at you, then behind her running away, the dream forward to the child's mother placing it in your in sleeping spot Tears swelled up in your eye as you saw spider,Lo'ak, and tuktirtey waiting for you and kiri to wake up. "Had a nightmare without mighty na'vi to protect you?" Lo'ak said mocking his brother neteyam.

"theres a thanator behind you." you said,lying but lo'ak didnt know, he turned around fast , scared if the beast was behind him.

"Ha ha very funny but lets go." he said moving on, you got up , kiri following after. Only by walking you were ahead of the Sully kids and spider, you were strayed off collecting things to make a braclet with, spider found you silently watching.

"I can smell your foul scent." You said, having a sensitive nose,Spider wasnt hurt by what you said " why are you so mean to me, were both human" he said to you in a confused manor.

"im not, you just need a bath, self care isnt something to lack in" you said, turning around,you were smiling, at your basket, you enjoyed flowers dearly.

you motioned spider to follow you as you headed back over to your siblings, when they found you and spider, then calmed down. “DON'T split up anymore it's dangerous” Lo’ak said concerned for everyone's safety. You adored your sibling for the tough love he gave, you walked up to him giving him a gentle hug. “I'm sorry for worrying you, it's okay. Please relax” you said gently moving your hand across his cheek and leaving it.

“if it's dangerous why is tuk here.” Kiri said as they moved, You smiled at her small comment, spider snickering at her comment too. “ Because ‘ ill tell mom if I can't come!’” he said looking at tuk who hid behind kiri sticking her tongue out.

You laughed at the sight, you enjoyed the bickering because it was like bonding, far away you heard a branch crack. You and lo’ak looked at the direction of the noise,he went closer going into the plants motioning for you to follow.

The sully kids split up,you with Lo’ak, spider kiri and tuk went the other direction. You stuck low to the ground spotting Avatar, they had guns, and weird clothing. lo’ak touched his earpiece turning it on speaking to jake “ dad- i mean eagle one,theres people in the forest with guns, and - “ he got cut off by jake “Me and your mother told you to not go out, who else is with you.” jake said over the piece, Lo’ak got quiet. “ all 4 of us besides neteyam.” you said, your eyes moving to a tall man with a small waist. your pupils dilated with interest, Lo’ak held you back knowing what you were gonna do. "Stay put were coming." Jake said .

you felt hands near you, you turned around letting out a threatening hiss, Lo'ak moved turning around, before you could fight you got restrained and grabbed. you were brought to the man you were observing earlier, along with your sibblings + spider.

"My my what do we have here. Two humans and.." he went to lo'ak crouching " na'vi. who's are you boy." he said demanding an answer.

"My father said i cant speak to assholes" he said in the language you understood,you laughed, the woman restraining you pulled on your braid making you hiss loud.

"who do you belong to" He said in your native language.

everyone looked shocked "dont tell him-" the woman yanked your braid earning another violent hiss. Lo'ak flicked the man off. The tall man looked at his hands then you. " so all of you are his" then his eyes traveled to spider and he paused "miles?" he tilted his head.

"My name is spider." he said trying to yank out his restrainers strong grip. "Youre gonna dislocate your shoulder. dont be dumb." he said walking away from spider crouching infront of you.

"what do we have hear." he looked at you making the woman restraining you release you.

"If you run, all of them die." he declared, you sensed he wasnt joking, and you didnt wanna test that. you stood up circling him,he did the same.

"A human girl with a Queue? you a mutation ?" he said questioning you. your steps were fast and quiet. " ive been here since 16 months old. ive adapted to navi evolved. thats all i know." quaritch reached for you testing your reflexes.

You slid back on the grass hissing, pulling your small blade from your side. guns were aimed at you. "Fiesty like one, you sure you arent one" he got reminded of neytiri from how you acted. " you deffinently are Neytiris. not by blood." he said egging you on.

"No more questions. none of your buisness." you said , a sound was heard, the sibblings of yours and spider turnd to a direction, they heard neytiri you didnt look though, you were focused on the asshole infront of you.

you lowered your blade increasing the distance. "what is your name girl." he said . " Burn in hell." you replied.

Before he could get closer Neytiri shot a warning arrow between you two. he glanced at where it came from.

"Theyre here." he said. everything happened like a blur, your body acted against you automatically. neytiri kept quadritch away from you while jake took the restrainers out.

you got closer to quaritch swiping at his stomach with your blade you picked up leaving a big scar. you moved back, standing infront of the sullys like you were gonna protect them. "Colonel quaritch what do we do." said an Avatar said.

quaritch moved his eyes off of you guys. you fled into the bushes , the sully kids following. his main focus was jake and neytiri.

Later, back at the base.

Everyone but tuk had been scolded, even you. you never saw them that pissed. you sat in a swivel chair thinking "isnt it strange i dont know who my dad is, kiri doesnt know hers either. and Y/n doesnt know her parents at all" Spider said confused.

"i mean maybe kiri's dad got knocked up by norm" Lo'ak said, kiri gagged at his words while spider laughed.

" what about Y/n? how come she has a queue as a human?" spider said "how come she doesnt need a mask like me?" spider was confused about you.

"One, dont talk about my mom like that" she said going to her capsule looking at her. " and two, maybe y/ns mother was a navi. you dont know neither does she. stop asking shes probably annoyed" she said getting spider off your back

You didnt mind the discussion of you, you sat on a cold table watching norm Came in to look at you. "cmon we have to do more tests" he reached for you.

"Dont-" spider warned, you werent a fan of hands grabbing you. you hissed at norm smacking his hand. "Mother said no tests. " you glared at him

"I'll convince jake for you to get an ikran." he said, the crowd behind you raised their eyebrows, you jumped down from the table running to the labs.

Norm smiled, then turned to a pissed kiri,lo'ak and spider. "if she ends up bruised or scarred our mother will know." lo'ak said apporaching norm, kiri pushed him back gently.

You waited patiently in the lab , Norm came in, testing your reflexes, auto responses and more. "Norm what am i.. normal humans dont have queues." you said concerned. "eywa. your subtle abilities to connect with animals like eywa and the enviroment like her, you cannot trace back the dna. but we found your father. F/N L/N. he was one of the reasearchers sent with us, but pandora reacted differently to him, and he had reports and videos of him talking about eywa" norm said turning a computer on , you came over and watched.

"My name is F/N L/N. Recently my studies on eywa if she is real or not was confirmed. no one believes me but i saw her. she is mighty, tall and beautiful, she even interacted with me many times, and shown herself to me." he said pausing..

then the tape glitched fast forward to october 31st 2154. He was holding you, you smiled at the tape, your Father was beautiful. then it flashed to an attack on the lab you were in, eywa appeared before you, taking you and fleeing with the camera. "I love you my dear. youre gonna be safe. one day taken in by people who will love you and care for you. Remember im always watching over you." she said ending the film with putting you somwhere safe then disappearing.

"she was beautiful" you said. "but she was also protecitng you from your dad..he made sure you could live ad na'vi.. he.. injected things into you to Enhance your na'vi traits as a infant." he said . "dumb it down for me" you replied " dad injected you with stuff that make ur navi traits dominant. youll look like one soon, itll work like some weird transformation" he said

" i doubt that norm " you got up and left the base heading over to your camp, you heard your adoptive parents argue.

"Were in danger we have to leave" said jake

"I am NOT leaving my home." neytiri hissed back. tuktirey was by you, you held her hand and she gripped it watching with you."THIS IS OUR HOME" she teared up looking at him.

"Our home isnt safe for us and if we stay then our people are endangered" jake said, he wasn't backing down.

"You are toruk makto. you need to be a leader." she said, jake shook his head. " A leader would flee with his family. ill pass the title onto someone worthy and we will leave." he said turning to the opening of the tent they were in.

He saw you and tuk, he reached for you but youd back up letting go of tuk and running off.

you ran and ran as fast as you can not looking back, you didnt wanna leave. you ran to Hallelujah Mountains climbing, you smelled someone behind you, you didnt wanna see who so you climbed and climbed untill you were near the ikrans.

someone grabbed you arm, you turned sniffling, it was neteyam, he was your age. You interacted with him the most out of anyone here. " Whats wrong. why were you running ." he said, you sat down calming down. "tell me slowly, from the start” he said gently rubbing your back so you calmed down. You couldnt fight him anyway, bigger , stronger and could pick you up if he needed to.

“i found out about my self. My mother IS eywa neteyam. My father fell in love with her and they.. Yeah. And when i was born. Other researchers found out and wanted to expiriment on me...my parents didnt allow that so they used lethal force and my mother fled , and hid me." you said, getting it off your chest.

" and its not fair how we have to leave now. Just as i figured this out " you cried,you were overwhelmed and tired, neteyam held you and you felt safe in his arms. big brother teyam protected you like always.

he gently petted you, his hands running through your hair. "I appologize for everything Ma y/n. you went through lots here and youre attached. think about what your teacher Tsu'tey would want yeah?" he moved you to his lap holding you tight.

"He would want me to be safe.." you said, neteyam wiped your tears with a smile "warriors dont get sick from crying, you always wanted an ikran right?" he said with a smile "yeah.." you replied looking up at him. " youre the only one without it. cmon" he carried you to the ikran placing you down.

"pick wisely, they must pick you too." he said , you closed your eyes walking blindly, many ikran moved, but one approached you. you went through the process of taming the ikran, when you flew with it you were confident, neteyam joined you on his. you soared so high, soaring and doing tricks .

Neteyam chased after you and you took it as a challenge, you raced faster than him, you flew all around eywa in the sky and down below , soon youd dive through the camp , jake moved out the way yelling as you laned. Neteyam landed farther than you, he got off unlinking his queue, he went over yo you helping you get off.

You unlinked your queue, your ikran nuzzled you. "She is very pretty."you said, your hand running over the patterns, she closed her eyes resting. "shes alot like you." he said, his eyes only on you. Your brother loved you dearly and head you close, he didnt care if you two werent actually related. "she is curious, energetic ,nuturing, protecting and sensitive" he said.

You two hand your bonding momment, yet it was crashed by your dad. "When did you get an ikran.. especially without my permision." jake said looking at you with rage.

"she was- "No neteyam. let her explain" jake said looking down at you. His tone made tears threaten to pour out in your eyes, he stared at you with shame. "You dont see me anymore." you could only manage out, you were overwhelmed. you began to walk away but he yanked you back dismissing neteyam.

"You couldve died." he expressed his concern,crouching and holding your hands." im the hardest on you because you are human, you can be killed here easier then any of us. i just worry for you because your body is delicate. and you are very clumsy." he said, you cant stay mad at your father. You hugged him tight, feeling his tears go down your back. "Papa, you wont lose me like you lost tsu'tey." you sad nuzzling your head into his neck.

everyone was eating when you came back, neytiri saw the ikran walking up to her calmly,avoiding eye contact. " She is beautiful Y/n. you pickrd wisely" she caressed the patterns and wings, you shook your head. " She picked me. every ikran but her avoided me. she came forward happily and enjoyed our race with neteyam" you smiled, tuk was by neteyam and kiri.

You smiled at her , she smiled back. you sat by lo'ak resting your head on your younger brothers shoulder. he moved you closer so you could be Comfortable. "so you beat neteyam huh? im proud of you. especially since its your first try." he smiled "maybe we should call Y/n the Mighty Flyer" Kiri said in a sarcastic tone "MIGHTY FLYER!" Tuktirey chanted, spider followed soon the while family chanted it, every navi at camp joining in.

you giggled at the silly behaviour, when it died down Jake declared the news to the family, after dinner everyone packed up their stuff getting ready for the morning. You sharpened everyones blades, giving it back to them. For the night you took care of tuk, making her new clothes.

When she changed into them it fit her perfectly. "I love them thank you Y/n!" she hugged you, you hugged back chuckling.

When the moon rised she fell asleep on your lap, you sung her a song for her to sleep to. once she was sound asleep you sighed. Spider came in sitting next to you. "not by kiri's side i see " you said looking over tuk. "you care for the sullys deeply " he said admiring how much of a big heart you have.

IN THE MORNING

you slept through the new toruk makto thing happening, you woke up with your bags and ikran heading to where tour family was.

when you got there kiri was crying. you hurried over to her comforting her, she had picked you up hugging you tight. "Hes gone. they took him." she said crying into your shoulder. you looked at your parents then the two boys, spider was gone.

jake was rushing everyone to leave, kiri was still upset yet hid her feelings, she rode with you, tuk with neytiri, and the boys rode on their ikrans.

Eventually you guys came to an island, everyone got off their ikrans, the teal coloured na'vi came close , the Olo'eyktan and tsahik came, jake was discussing things with them but you werent paying attention.

A woman came out of the water, she was beautiful, she caught both your brothers attention. you thought she was pretty but you were more distracted by a creature in the water, you crouched. looking at its long body.

Soon the stern face looking woman came torwards you, you turned without her saying anything to you. you showed your respect to her doing the motion you were taught to. " and you brought.. a human with you? she said circling around you, she looked at every part of you, you looked presentable then she touched your braid, you didnt flinch. "Why do you have a queue." She asked you, you looked at jake and neytiri, they nodded yet you still were nervous.kiri held your hand as you breathed in then out.

"My father.. he was the human researcher who met eywa.. and they fell for eachother when they shouldnt have.. my mother fled, because my dads shelter was getting attacked by researchers who we didnt allow to reasearch on me..and she his me then disappeared" you said, many laughed at you but got silenced by Ronal. "Do you realise that you are useless and would cause trouble. you will die easy." she said, you shook your head " my entire life on pandora, i lived unharmed, if was harmed then id learn and improve. i think my family dese- she cut you off.

"Mmh. i see ." she went back by her husband, they agreed on letting you guys stay, and youre glad because of that.

everyone went to the marui pod that was spared to them setting up.

You on the other hand were walking into the waters you watched the ilu play with a smile, one had came to you nuzzling your leg. "they adore you." a gentle voice said, sitting by you.

"Oh im sorry- i can go back to my family.. i was just curious." you smiled caressing and petting them.

"This is Ilu. to be here you must learn how to ride. not normal where an ilu usually automatically chooses someone." the girl said amazed. "Tsireya" she said looking down at you. " y/n" you replied, focusing on the gentle creature.

"Why dont you avoid me like everyone else" you asked Tsireya, she giggled to herself. "I know you are harmless, many island animals trust you. " she said, her beautiful eyes focusing on you"Your eyes are very beautiful.." you complimented her, your eyes on hers. " you have a beautiful and strong soul. eywa is with you always" she held your hand.

"Thank you tsireya.." you said giving her a hug, she hugged you back before getting up.

"i have many questions Y/n, can we walk and talk?" Tsireya asked, she felt so welcoming .

you nodded getting up, walking with tsireya,you hummed listening to all her questions pour out. "so.. how are you so much like Na'vi?" she said, eager to learn. "My mother id eywa. she is na'vi, but for some reason im more like a human physically, but i have the speed like neytiri, hearing of na'vi and flexibility like one.. and i dont have the strength i think? i never fought.. with my bare hands" you said honestly. " do you have some form of a power?" tsireya said.

You shrug. " for some reason, when im in danger animals come help me? and i get tired after as if i summoned them" she nodded listening to you. "third,can we be friends?" she said sticking her hand out.

you smiled taking her hand. "forever." you said smiling at her,Tsireya smiled guiding you to the middle of the beach. “ we should make shell necklaces for eachother!" she said, your eyes sparkled at the idea, you paid close attention when she taught you how.

" and then i do this.." you finished the pretty necklace putting it on tsireya, and she did the same to you.

A tall boy walked over, he looked at you then his sister "What are you doing hanging out with a freak, from a freak demon blood family" said the boy, Tsireya corrected him " Her name is Y/n Or eywa. she isnt a freak and the sullys arent either. theyre just different " She said, Aonung got closer. out of fear you stood infront of Tsireya.

"Dont hurt her for standing up to you ." you looked him in the eyes, his head was tilted and so was tsireya's "1.) i wouldnt hurt my family. 2.) what are you, her friend? she wouldnt befriend freaks" He repeated the word freak, you were so close to snapping. "Aonung stop it!" Tsireya said getting up and putting you behind her.

"Aonung. " you repeated, saying it ovsr and over. "dont say my- "Aonung?" you repeated , moving . you got closer to him and he backed up.

"My apologies for acusing you of attempting to hurt her. i am sorry for making you into a bad person." you apologized,he looked you up and down, shaking his head.

"So the freak now apologizes? not like those sibblings" you tilted your head stepping back, he had a black eye.

"i can take care of the bruise." you said, he shook his head refusing to be treated by a freak. "For the future leader you are stubborn." you said, kicking his leg making him fall to his knees.

"Ow- the hell was that for" he said, "you wouldnt let me help you, violence." you said, you reached in your bag. rubbing a green power around and on the black eye.

Aonung said looking at your features while you forcefully treated him. “Are you the oldest?” you asked and he nodded,looking at your nose. “Me and Teyam are the oldest for ours” you smiled. You loved your family dearly . “Did my brothers do this Aonung?” you looked at him, holding his face as he was on his knees looking up at you.

neither of you realized that you were like this. “i assume so because No one on this island would fight child of Tsahik and Olo'eyktan. Id know. Thats how it was back home” you said staring at him and forgetting the others were watching. “ i understand were intruders + freaks to you guys and my request means nothing but.. Could you consider kindness with us. I do not want trouble” you said. Aonung didnt reply, he was fixated on you, his fingertips touched when his hands gripped your waists.

For some reason, he felt safe with you. seeds of eywa fell onto your shoulders and rested there. “You are eywa’s child.” he said, he felt your energy and aura. It was so welcoming and calming.

Lo’ak came over breaking up the moment “ Am I interrupting something ?” he crossed his arms. You snapped out of it letting go of Aonung, he did the same backing up. “No.. Nothing happened” you said shaking it off, he approached Aonung huffing. “I apologize for hurting you , it wasnt reasonable for me to and i was just defending my sister.” he said Aonung looked at me then Lo’ak.

“Mhm.” He held the grudge, tsireya pulled you away from the drama, she didn't enjoy conflict in any way shape or form.

She went to her marui pod with you, moving flaps of the entrance to be closed. She sighed to herself flopping down, you sat down gently.

“ i am so sorry.” she said , you held her hand smiling. “Its fine. I can sense hes a kind soul, he was just afraid of us harming his land.” you said, you looked at the entrance as someone came in, roxto. He was shorter than Aonung yet near Kiri’s shoulders.

“Who may he be?” you said,looking at the boy, he was shocked you could see him. “Yes i can see you,call me as you wish but who are you?” you repeated your question. “Roxto..” he said eagerly.

“hello Roxto? What do you need” You Adressed him with kindness. He spoke about how he threw a suprise for the sully kids and his friends, you raised your eyebrow. You went outside, roto guided you and Tsireya to a secret area.

You saw everyone laugh around the fire and enjoy their time getting to know each other.

you sat between tsireya and Aonung, you admired the fire,its pretty colors. But you couldnt shake the sound in your head lf the attack that happened to your dad, the sound of your mom saying she'll be back to get you one day.

You snapped out of it when Kiri asked you " truth or dare" She said. you snapped out of it "truth." you picked the safe option.

"what is your type?" kiri said, you laughed at that idea "none because theres no other human here.. but ill still say someone strong.. caring and would let me care for them, someone who would let me break down and help them." you smiled. you felt Aonungs eyes on you, you looked at him, you two didnt break eyecontact. you saw a smile on his face before it faded, he turned back to the group.

Your chest felt weird, all fluttery, your guts felt all soaked and what not. you shook your head. "Tsireya truth or dare?" you looked at her" dare?" she said with her usual smile. "i dare you to go with Lo'ak into the forest for atleast 5 mins." You said, lo'ak looked like you hatecrimed him, while neteyam dabbed you up.

the two left , now it was just you, roxto and kiri "mmm alright.." Neteyam said, he looked at you and your heart dropped. " Aonung, truth or dare" Neteyam said. Aonungs hardheaded ass of course picked dare.

"I dare you to take my sister somwhere nice, for the reat of the night." he said waving goodbye. Aonung reached for your hand , you placed yours in his .

you walked with him along the woods

” where are you taking me?” You said raising an eyebrow. Aonung chuckled, he lead you to a bioluminescent Willow tree. You ran too it , looking around.

The glow complimented you, you danced between the bioluminescent leaves that drooped down to you.

Your movements were like water , Aonung watched amazed, he had seen better and yet, none made him this mesmerized. You were about to fall and yet the giant caught you. He looked deeply into your eyes,you looked at his.

"I am not your type.." you said looking into his eyes then his lips. " You are worth a beautiful Na'vi , not a meer human... and i dont know you" you said, trying to assure you werent good enough, you barely knew the man " I am the Olo'eyktan's son... i know what i amd worth and i know what i want.. believe me Ma y/n. i will have you ond day." he said letting go of you.

He left you by the willow tree, once he was gone you left too, going out and sitting by the water.

ronal revealed herself walking to you. You turned seeing her "oh!" you stood up but ronal stopped you "im sorry- i didnt kiss him i didnt wanna be disre- "silence." Ronal said, you listened.

"Eywa told me you are her child." she said in a gentle yet stern, she got to your level, but sat tall. she took your hand examining you. "i made a mistake" She said looking at you " you are like navi, you ARE one... just slowly becoming one .." she said , examining your body. "did you always have this " she yanked your newly grown tail.

"i dont understand, why-" you said confused. she sighed , shaking her head "youll see by the morning" she got up leaving.

you were so confused, you just sighed going to your families marui pod, your sibblings were so confused by your tail.

"why do you have a tail... that.. that isnt usual for half breeds" Lo'ak said. "well youre one yoursef." you attacked, rolling your eyes, im sorry Lo'ak, i dont know my bodies being weird." you said, you laid in him sighing. "well.. either way we love and except you." Lo'ak said wrapping his arms around you. " Thank you lil bro." you said, falling asleep on him.

in the morning

you opened your eyes, seeing everyone stare at you, you were so confused. They all looked shocked. you sat up turning around.

"why are they looking at me weird.." You asked your brother you fell asleep on, he got up taking your hand,Lo'ak pushed past the sullys and they followed.

"Look in the water." he said you,you listened to gim seeing yourself. a helicopter landed and out came norm and researchers.

"so i was right huh" norm said walking up to you. you looked at ronal confused as you went down onto the coast to norm.

He hugged you, you hugged him back as he span you around. You sighed, Norm and max explained "hmm. so you look like a na'vi now... because your dad basically drugged you?" kiri said watching you. "Kiri! its not like that-" Jake said. But he got corrected by max "it kind of is.. and its hard to explain without it sounding horrid"

Lo'ak was amazed, he could now hug you without having to worry about how he could hurt you. "this is amazing.." you said looking at yourself. your tail hit max's clipboard sending it flying.

"sorry... im not used to being.. so tall" you said , Max sighed getting his clipboard back. norm still towered over you. he measured you with tape" 7"5.." he said Mac wrote it down.

when it was over you sat under the willow tree, it became your hiding spot when you were stressed.

you relaxed, your eyes closing, Aonung approached you sitting by you. "you must think im a freak for sure now" you said, he laughed. "but why are you here, are you not suppose to be giving lessons with tsireya to my sibblings on breathing underwater?" you asked.

"They sent me to come get you actually." he said, you sighed getting up and hitting your head. "ow-" you held your head, Aonung laughed snorting from how fast you got up.

He got up without hitting his head. "I do think youre still a freak yes. but like you said . i shouldnt be mean just because youre a guest" he said

"Are you the real Aonung?" you said, he rolled his eyes walking with you. he didn't acknowledge what happened last night, maybe it was a dream and nothing more.”Are you the real Y/n?” He said “Hm. No I'm actually an alien going to take over your brain.” you said in a sarcastic manner.

when you joined your friends in the lessons, Tsireya looked at you shocked running up to you “Y/n you- you’re.. “ she looked at you with so much amazement yet confusion. “My dad.. Fastened the pace of me looking like this so i could live normally” you said sitting down.

The lesson went normally, Lo’ak and Neteyam listened to Tsireya, Kiri listened to Roxto and of course you were with Aonung for some reason. You listened to his instructions, you breathed how he instrcucted.

When you did, you could hear your mother's heartbeat, you even heard Tsu’tey’s voice “ I believe in you, little eywa.” he said.

you opened your eyes,the others were gone but your instructor stayed”im ready..” you said, he nodded.

The way you walked over to them , you joined your siblings” now you know to breathe underwater. Another thing you must do to survive here is ride.” Aonung said going in the water, he was making a sound, you didnt know what it was but the same creature from yesterday came, but more.

“i saw one before.. Yesterday “ you said crouching in front of the one that wanted to play with you. “ this one wanted to play with me yesterday.” you’d pet its head.

“She wanted to swim with you , its normal for them to be playful” he said “since Tukitrey..was it? Is young she will ride with one of you.” he said connecting his queue to the ilu he was with.

Everyone did the same,tuk went with you. As soon as you got on an connected, the ilu went ZOOMING.

Tuk held on tight giggling, when it dived you had gained control of it you went at a pace comfortable for tuk, Roxto went faster than you racing the sullies.

Tuk had said “ FASTER EYWA FASTER!” she wanted to race too, she held onto you tightly as you sped up.

Kiri was seen playing with these glowing sea critters, they were small following her flow of movement.

You sped past Them , Aonung liked a challenge. So did Tsireya, you raced with the two untill you got back on land with tuk. Only Tsireya came out “Aonung said he wanted to stay longer” you said.

Untill almost all of your sibblings and Aonung came back, you were cleaning up stuff with Tsireya.

for the whole two weeks you spent with Tsireya or Aonung ,you were waiting on Lo’ak. So was your family, they were deeply concerned and Scared for him. The last person you knew he was with was Aonung.

You strutted over full of rage.“WHERE IS MY BROTHER.” you said to him, Ronal and tonowari turned to you, Aonung put his hands up.

“What do you mean?” he played dumb. “Where. Is Lo’ak.” You said ,not playing any games. “Either you tell me where my little brother is or ill search that sea my self.” you said, you werent joking either.

“He went past the reef.” He said, you smacked him harder then you anticipated, Ronal and tonowari got up demanding an explanation. “Tell them Aonung. Tell them what you did.” you said, tears spilling out your big eyes.

He explained it to his parents,their eyes widening,”does your dad know” Tonowari said to you. You shook your head.

“All we can do is wait.” He said not wanting to send someone out. You didnt think this was fair at all.

Aonung reached for you but you turned your back.

your family listed to tonowari, and all of them waited and waited. Until Lo’ak came back.

Everything was so confusing ,its like it was a blur, and everyone was arguing. Then you heard the name pakayan. “He saved me- he. Isn't a murderer he didn't murde- “ he is in our eyes. Do not do that again.” Tonowari cut him off.

“But-” Lo’ak tried to fight but the leader left with his wife. “ thats enough out of you.” Jake said going back to the marui pod.

you believed him, you grabbed his arm and he turned to you with a hurt look “ i see you.” you said, he hugged you, his tension releasing.

“They dont believe me Y/n, i tried to tell them a wars coming but they wont listen” he cried out, you pat his back, nodding. “ they did Lo’ they did. They just need time to think.” you assured your little brother.

You were tired and needed rest , today was too much.

LATER

You saw everyone gather around jake,you walked over. He held something up and the Metkayina backed up. “ this is our fault so we’ll solve it as that.” he said “THEY HAVE OUR CHILDREN.” Ronal said full of rage. “What..” you said and Jake looked at you,he felt sorry but he turned back to the crowd.

“And they will return home. Just trust us.” The last word he said before. Everything started , they geared up, heading to the boat.

While you were underwater , you saw the pakayan your brother was talking about. He looked at your and you showed your respect. You got closet to the boat When your father was on it, you saw the metkayina retreat, but aonung , he was behind you with neteyam.

“Why are you here” you scream whispered “ same as you, saving our sibblings” said aonung, you werent going to argue you didnt care enough.

you got up to the boat sneaking around, fast and without alerting gaurds.

you found tuktirey and tsireya. You free’d your little sister and Aonung free’d hers. You went over to lo’ak and neteyam , hugging them.

“Worst family reunion so far” you joked and they laughed, then you got surrounded, you u looked at tuk pushing her behind you as you got your blade out.

neteyam did the same, you attacked the guard in front of you holding them hostage. “Drop your weapons or he dies.” you said. One after another they dropped their weapons.

As soon as they did they got knocked out by your sibblings and Aonung. You snapped uour hostage's neck. “ we need to go. “ neteyam said, you guys hid, waiting for guards to pass by.

You dived into water woth your little sister tuktirey, Lo’ak and Aonung fallowed Behind .

Your brother neteyams body fell into the water, he was shot, you grabbed him quickly, taking him back to shore with help of your friends. You held his body and sobbed so loud you could swear eywa heard you.

“Please mama please dont take my brother away. Another chance for him please. I need him here we need him here please.” you sobbed and choked out. Aonung pulled you off of him as you screamed and cried.

Then you stopped. You yanked out aonungs grip calling for your ilu.

“Where are you going” Aonung said “revenge.” you responded, Lo’ak and tuk followed you, when you got to the ship you just lost it.

You fought for your older brother, you injured many as you sobbed, “kiri. Where is she” you looked around and you saw your dad, you ran to him and he hugged both of you.

“‘My kids.. Youre safe..” he checked all of them then saw neteyam wasnt here, you looked away sobbing.

“.. We need to find kiri.” you choked out, jake understood yet didn't comment on it. He Nodded “shes over there!” tuk pointed and you ran over with jake, you saw spider too.”spider..?" you paused, he looked guilty.

You shook your head "... you didnt" you looked at him. "i didnt - it was the- "enough." you said turning your back go him. " i didnt know you and i never did" you said before moving forward.

Then came our quaritch for holding kiri hostage, he looked at you, smiling. "so yer daddy wasnt crazy." he said.

"keep his name and life out your mouth." you hissed at him "or what? do something and youll lose someone for the third time. now drop the gun jake." he looked back at your dad. he did so, putting his hands up " now all of them. drop the blades." he demaded.

you listened and so did your sibblings. they kicked them over and he kicked his gun over to him. "now its just gonna be me and you, no one else." he said.

neytiri dropped down with spider as a hostage, she heard and saw everything. she held a blade to his chest. "MOM NO-" kiri shouted and she didnt look at her in response, kiri tried struggling out his grip and it tighted.

" A son for a son," Neytiri said, Quaritch chuckled. “You don't have the balls” He cared for spider, but he wouldn't let Neytiri use it as a weakness. She cut his chest with the blade. Quaritch let go of Kiri reaching for spider, she took the chance to run to you, Lo’ak and tuk.

She hugged tuk. Your mother threw spider at Quaritch getting in front of you. Like a lioness protecting her cubs.

Jake threw a gernade at quaritch, when it exploded it sent him back. The ship titled back making Tuk fall. “TUKTIREY!” you dived down the hole filled with water for your sister. “NO-” your mother yelled going after you both.

Lo’ak got infront of kiri “ go after then ill help him.” she nodded listning, she dived down the hole.

You were getting thrown around by the water, you huffed taking a breath like Lo’ak taught you, you dived in the water getting tuk, she swam to you, you grabbed her hand pulling her up holding her. Your mother and kiri fell down swimming over. Shit was going down.

You heard banging on the top, water kept rising and you held tuk close,you looked at kiri and she looked at you.

“We swim.” you said. She nodded.

“Inhale from your stomach, slow, steady then exhale” she instructed. You dived since you and tuk knew already.

You used the Fish as guides swimming to the surface, you called your ilu, putting tuk on it.

You hope it would understand and it did, it took her to the shore, kiri and neytiri appeared from the water.

"i need to help him." you said, neytiri shook her head. "it is his battle, you cant interfear" before the ship fully sunk jake came out of it alive. "ma jake!" neytiri said hugging him in the water.

you guys swam to the shore, soon spider joined you guys. he looked at you with guilt, everyone was crying over neteyam, after he daid his last words you felt defeat, the metkayina gathered around.

"i wanna try one last thing.." you held him,you said a silent prayer,seeds of eywa landed on him and in his wound.

his eyes fluttered open , he gasped for air spitting some blood up,the bullet fell out, his family hugged him.

you stood up and looked at Ronal, she looked fearful as she aproached you, grabbing your arm.

"this is not natural. eywa wouldnt approve." Ronal said. you snatched your arm from her. "my mom saved him and answered my prayer.." you looked at spider.

"and you." you turned to him and walked to him, he stood still accepting what ever would happen.

you hugged him, tightly. "so much has happened without you here"you let go of him, "im sorry for earlier.. i was mad because i thought you told them everything.. " you said, spider shook his head .

"No.. i love you guys.. but.. when did you become all taller.." he said looking at how amazing you looked , neteyam ran up to you picking you up and spinning you.

"you saved me." he said with a smile holding you. "i shouldnt.. be alive but its a miracle" he said propping you down.

"Such a victory requires a feast." tonowari said with a smile.

LATER.

you walked along the shore while everyone celebrated. everything had smoothed over, you even were allowed to stay with your family.

You looked at the sky holding your necklace that was from Your teacher Tsu'tey. " i wish i could bring you back.." you said sighing softly.

You noticed someones presence. Aonung towered over you. "Im.. sorry" he said, you turned to him with tears in your eye, you shoo your head. "my brother couldve died. my eldest brother DID die, but came back somehow. and now a man wants to- he embraced you holding you tight. he rested his head in your neck. he rubbed your back sighing.

"let it all out. cry it all out, i want you to feel better y/n. i see you. not just because who your mother is but because youre you. a fearless warrior who cares for her family." he said, he only knew you for a few weeks, yet said such strong words to you. you hugged him tight.

you finally broke down and cried ,everything had came out and Aonung held you, you both sat down , he pat your back listening to you,every word he heard, everything.

" why are you doing this.. you barely know me.." you said. "You are Y/n Sully. warrior, caretaker. loved by the sullys and tsireya, probably roxto. You have a connection with creatures and care for all life.. you put your family before you yet bottle things up. you like sea shells, swimming and so much more, and you help your mother with your youngest sister,making clothes and everything" he said everything about you that you knew of, you looked up at him with widened eyes. "but i.. i dont know- "you do, you just cant think of it now" he said

" you dont need to think right now, just... let your feelings free" he said, you eventually fell asleep on him, you let your gaurd down.

You fell asleep in the sand, he fell asleep sitting up holding you.

In the morning you opened your eyes and he was gone,you were in your marui pod and your siblings were outside waiting for you to wake up, you got up heading outside.

“So hes interest in you” neteyam asked getting in your face,towering above you. “ its none of your business” you said, he got in your way when you attempted to move. “You are my sister, it is my buisness to protect you from skxwang “ he said. You rolled your eyes “ i saved your life” you said “doesnt mean pester mine.”

Speaking of putting The Fuckers™️ in places they shouldn’t be. I’ve been thinking and developing for like since June on putting the core 4 into Undertale. GB, Mikey, and Nikey all wake up in the first patch of buttercups together, much to Mikey and Nikey’s dismay. But Fuse is nowhere to be seen. Hmmmmmm. They begin to venture through the underground, Toriel being very surprised to find three adults instead of the usual one child. She’s a little standoffish towards them at first but warms up a little to their company. She doesn’t feel the need to guide them through the ruins obviously, since they’re, yknow, adults. This does lead to Mikey and GB almost being impaled through the feet. Nikey stopped them before they could though.

Oh yeah, about their “route”. It’s pacifist obviously, but Nikey at first had to be held back from killing a few (a lot) of monsters just for being “in my way.”.

They exit the ruins and meet sans who is just his usual self, a little bit thrown off by there being, again, three adult men instead of the usual child. Sans is just like. “Timeline fuckery? Maybe.” (Maybe) but they continue with their walk through the forest, eventually meeting Papyrus. Which is just like. Instant besties with everyone except Nikey.

Nikey takes note of his more quote unquote “naive” nature (just according to his observations. He’s just making assumptions.) and attempts to form sort of the same relationship/a relationship akin to Papyrus’ relationship with Flowey, but sans has a little “friendly chat” with him, which leads him to begrudgingly lay his hands off of Papyrus.

(GB and Mikey end up going on the date with Papyrus, but Nikey stays behind them to explore and try to gain any information he can on where he is and how he got there. He ends up getting the wrong number song call and sees a strange figure in the corner of his eye. But when he looks at it directly to see what it is, it’s gone.)

They continue past Snowdin into Waterfall and “meet” Undyne as she tries to hunt them down. She fails, as all three of them are quite experienced in battle and dodging attacks and such. Especially GB.

They end up stopping by Temmie Village, which Nikey promptly has to pry the other two away because they refuse to leave. “The Temmie’s are adorable though! You just don’t know how to have fun.” “Maybe. But what I do know is that you idiots will let us all starve here rather than leave your… weird dogs behind and get on with trying to find a way out of here.”

Nikey ends up taking the reigns on the fight with Undyne, which keeps getting interrupted because GB and Mikey won’t stop running away, which Undyne will NOT let happen, and so she keeps chasing after them until they’re all in battle with her, and then GB and Mikey run away again which Nikey is VERY annoyed by because he want to FIGHT HER GODDAMMIT.

Nikey ends up running after her every time she tries to catch the other two, so he’s behind her when she collapses out from heat exhaustion. GB ends up being the one to pour the water on her because Mikey will not drop his whole “I hate Magma and Aqua” shtick. SPEAKING OF WHICH. This bitch HATES Hotland!!!! He refuses to take off his jacket even when he’s literally about to pass out so GB has to convince him to take it off. It takes like an entire hour. Nikey however willingly does so, draping his coat over his shoulders (see Commander Kamado).

Anyways I’m getting off track. Kind of. ???

They all end up going on the date with Undyne, which Nikey takes the reins on once again, Undyne and him constantly bouncing off of eachother in terms of quips and just general shenanigans.

Nikey ends up softening up a little after befriending Undyne, which the other two don’t hesitate to playfully poke fun at him for. Nikey is frustrated with this and threatens to throw them into Hotlands lava ocean if they don’t be quiet.

When they get to the lab, they see someone familiar emerge from the True Lab with Alphys. Fuse. Interesting. They dont really have time to get Fuse to explain himself to them, as Mettaton is now set off and on their trail. Which. BY THE WAY. GB and Mikey absolutely ADORE. Nikey’s a fan of his antics as well but is very annoyed he keeps interrupting their journey as they try to escape.

Anyways, when Mettaton EX is revealed and that entire battle starts, Mikey takes literally all the reins on it and is just KILLING IT. Literally makes the ratings multiply by 5 by just being there and fucking slaying. Mikey ends up being sad that the battle has to end due to Mettaton, well, yknow, and is very concerned for his robot friend. Alphys reassures him it’s okay and Mettaton can be fixed… maybe. Which is good enough for him

Right after this is right about the time they end up receiving the phone call from Undyne asking them to deliver her confession letter to Alphys. Which they do, and the date is very cute :)

Of course the good feelings don’t last for long in their case, as it comes time for them to venture into Alphys’ true lab. Which surprise surprise! Fuse is there :)

Turns out, he’d been manipulating Alphys to his advantage, so that she would let him experiment on the amalgams for himself. The experiments weren’t just limited to fusions though, oh no, they got much worse. There were a few times Fuse almost got Alphys backed into a corner to let him try to fuse her with another monster just to see if it would work, but she always seemed to escape by the skin of her teeth.

Anyways. Shit happens in the lab. Fuse tries to kill everyone except for him, but he ends up being restrained and stopped before he can execute his plans. GB, Mikey, and Nikey take Fuse off of Alphys’ hands and apologise like a million times for his actions. Alphys insists it’s fine but… yeah no it’s not fine. Girlie needs therapy more than ever.

They end up having to tie Fuse up with a rope and drag him along that way. They also have to put rope around his mouth because he will not. Stop. Saying the weirdest and most creepy shit in the world.

They venture through the core, where Fuse tries to kick all of them into the cores void pit like five times before he gives up. Oughhhhh I’m losing steam >:(

The entire fight with Asriel plays out, and Asriel takes form as his child-self.

Turns out, fuse has been slowly chipping away at the ropes binding him the entire time he was in them. He breaks free.

Fuse ends up attacking Asriel when he’s in his child form, and taking all of the souls, absorbing them into his body. Unfortunately for literally everyone else, this turns him into a god. I’m not sure how the fight for the souls would play out, but just know that they fuck up Fuse’s shit and nearly kill him. Yay!

A few minutes after the barrier is broken, they end up being sent back home, to which everyone is like “Was that a dream I swear it wasn’t. GB and Mikey end up getting on FaceTime and being like “DUDE DO YOU REMEMBER-“ and the other’s like “YEAH HOLY SHIT.”

Nikey waits a few days to confirm it with the other two because he’s not sure if it happened or not, and it’s be rather embarrassing if he just walked up to Mikey like they were acquaintances if literally that entire ordeal didn’t really happen. Luckily for him, it did. This ends up in Mikey and Nikey being on… okay terms for the most part.

Tuesday, May 20th- London, England

Sidney tipped the bellman and closed the door to his hotel suite. He walked over to his window and looked at the view of Hyde Park. Mike would arrive in the next hour or so. His stomach growled. He realized that he hadn't had lunch yet in the bustle to get through customs and out of the airport. He ordered lunch through the tablet provided before he grew restless and went to his backpack. Saturday- June 1st- Normandy France

Evie: No, it’s not your responsibility and it’s not that big of a deal. 

Sidney screamed: You are not my responsibility? The person I love not eating is not my responsibility? Taking care of my future wife is NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY?? Are you crazy???

Evie: Don’t scream at me, Beso. 

Sidney paused and looked at her face. The tears had begun to flow. “Fuck,” he thought to himself, “Now I have upset her.”

Sidney: I am hanging up now. I can’t speak to you right now and I don’t want to say something I regret. Good night. 

Sidney ended the call and threw the phone on the bed. He punched the pillow in anger and thought to himself. “Find a solution- find a solution,” he repeated to himself. He sat up and grabbed his phone. After thirty minutes and a few phone calls, he called Evie back.

Sidney paused to control his voice: Evie, I am sorry that I got so angry. 

Evie: I don’t know why you are so angry. I had a problem, but I worked through it. 

Sidney: You don’t have problems alone, Evie. WE have problems. Do you understand? If you have a problem, then I have a problem. If you need something- no matter how small it may seem to you, you tell me. 

Evie: I wasn’t trying to make you angry, Beso. I didn’t know how you could help me from there and I didn’t want to worry you. I don’t like it when you are angry at me, Beso. 

Sidney: Shhhhh…. Evie, it’s okay. We are going to fix this. We’ll fix it together. 

Evie took a deep breath: Okay- how?

Sidney spoke softly: There is an order of food coming to you from Luigi’s. I ordered enough for you to have leftovers. I ordered all of your favorites plus dessert. I want you to eat, Princess. 

Evie smiled at him. 

Sidney continued: Then sometime tomorrow I want you to go to my house. In the safe in the closet, I have cash. The code is 8787. Take all of it and use whatever you need to get groceries, gas, whatever you need. 

Evie started to interrupt. 

Sidney: Don’t argue with me, Evie. Take the money and use what you need. On Monday, there will be a package delivered to you. I want you to accept it. 

Evie: What is it?

Evie: The food is here.

Sidney placed his phone on the bedside table. He walked out onto the balcony of his room again. He stared up at the sky and sang lowly- “Orion's heart is bright enough to shine on both of us. The constellations never fail to light the way for love”. Truthfully, he was still irritated about the situation. He couldn’t put his finger on it. Why can’t she just let me take care of her? Sidney put on his dinner jacket and looked his phone before he walked out of his hotel room. He received a text message from Evie and frowned. 

Evie: Beso, I am sorry about tonight. 

Sidney: Don’t be sorry. I am glad that you are going to have fun. 

Evie: Your voice doesn’t sound like it’s glad that I am going to have fun. 

Sidney: I just like talking to you before I go to bed. It helps me relax

Evie: What time will you be back from dinner? I could call you on the way to the show. 

Sidney: I should be back in my room by nine. 

Evie: Okay, I will call you then. 

Sidney: Promise? 

Evie: I promise Beso. I will call you. 

Later than evening

Mike and Sidney walked back into the hotel lobby after eight thirty. Both were full from their decadent dinner out. Sidney looked forward to getting out of his pants that were suddenly very uncomfortable. They said their good nights and separated into their hotel rooms. He had thirty minutes before Evie was supposed to call. His desperate need to speak to her confused him and he grew restless.

He looked out the window and stared at the stars. “Come Mon Etoile, call me,” he wished. The tablet called to him and he removed it from the backpack. There was one final video he had not watched, “Daddy”. Curiosity got the better of him and he clicked play. 

The video showed him sitting on the couch casually. Within a few seconds, Evie appeared on screen, fully clothed. 

In the hotel room, Sidney sat on the bed and leaned forward to put his elbows on his knees. His focus was entirely on the video, which appeared to be non-sexual. 

Back in the video, Evie climbed  onto the coach and sat perpendicular to Sidney. She placed her legs over Sidney’s legs and leaned her body against his. She then wrapped her arms around his body while he slowly caressed her arm. “Evie” Sidney said in the video, “You look sad.”

Evie replied, “I am sad. You are going away soon and I will miss you.” 

Sidney frowned in the video, “I don’t want you to be sad though.”

Evie pouted, “I can’t help it. My Daddy is going away for a long time. That makes me sad.” 

Sidney kissed her temple, “Baby Girl…..listen to Daddy”

Evie looked up into his eyes, “You will see Daddy soon. I won’t be gone for that long.” 

She shook her head, “Three weeks, Daddy, three weeks”

Sidney paused the video. His eyes were filled with tears. The quiet desperation in her voice caused his heart to ache. He remembered that he dismissed it at that moment. He had no idea how difficult these final days would become for him. Each morning was a disappointment. He awoke to an empty bed in a hotel room and into a world that was devoid of her magic. He missed the way her eyes crinkled when she smiled in the morning. He missed the way she would yawn and stretch dramatically as he made coffee. He missed their bedtime routine and the way she would wiggle back into his arms at night. He missed the way she reached for him in the morning as she emerged from dreamland. His presence helped her to transition from dreams to reality. He missed her. 

He started the video again. He had silenced her whines with kisses before he pushed her onto her back and climbed on top of her. Her soft moans of “Daddy, please,” echoed in his head- both from the video and from his memory. 

“Please what, Baby Girl,” he moaned in response as his hands roamed her body and he kissed her neck.

“Please don’t leave me. Please don’t leave your Baby Girl,” she pleaded. 

“I have to, Baby Girl. I don’t have a choice,. I have to keep my promise,” he murmured. 

“Please Daddy. Please Daddy,” she begged, "Please don't leave me."

Sidney shut off the video and wiped the tears from his eyes. It was his turn to be desperate and needy. As if on cue, Evie’s face appeared on the screen. 

Evie: Beso?

Sidney wiped his tears: Baby Girl….. Baby Girl

Evie: Yes Daddy

Sidney whined: Daddy misses you. Daddy misses you so much. 

Evie: I know. I miss you too. I miss you so much

Sidney cried: Why did I leave you? Why did I leave my Baby Girl?

Evie: You had to leave me, remember? You had to keep your promise. 

Sidney: Oh yeah. Remind me never to make promises like that again

Evie: Only make them to me, okay?

Sidney: Only to you from now on. 

Evie: Daddy- It’s almost over. I can be brave if you can be brave.

Sidney: I don’t want to be brave. I want you.

Evie: I don’t want to be brave either but it’s the only option we have.

Sidney: Okay, I will be brave if you will be brave. 

Evie: Deal. Do you want me to send your a new picture so you can see today me?

Sidney: Please. Call me when you get home.

Monday, June 10th- Frankfurt airport

Sidney stood directly in front of the escalator that led from the customs area into the baggage claim area. He nervously checked each set of feet and legs that appeared before the rest of their body became visible. “Male legs, those feet are too big, no way in hell Evie wears those pants,” he thought to himself as he mentally eliminated person after person. The anticipation was about to drive him crazy and he rocked back and forth on his heels. 

Suddenly, her face appeared as she bent over to get a view to the bottom of the escalator. Her eyes found Sidney and she grinned. He felt a hitch in his breath. Evie jumped up and down in excitement, nearly knocking over the person in front of her with her carry-on bag. “Slowest fucking escalator EVER,” he thought to himself he watched descend. 

Evie’s eyes did not leave Sidney’s body. When she stepped off, she twisted and turned to make her way through the crowd of people. “Move, move, move” she muttered under her breath. Finally she made it through the crowd and started running to Sidney. She dropped her bag and flung herself into his waiting arms. Their arms wrapped around each other and he squeezed her tight. “Beso, Beso, Beso,” she cried as they held each other. She felt his body tremble beneath hers. His chest heaved and his breath was ragged. She moved her head to look into face and saw the tears flowing which matched her tears. She shook her head from side to side vigorously as she stared into his eyes. “Never again, Sidney.” she choked out, “Don’t you ever leave like this again. Do you hear me? Never again.” Her hands went to his cheeks and she wiped his tears. 

“Never again,” he responded, “Never ever again, Evie. I promise you.” 

She smiled, “It was horrible.” and kissed him softly, “Life without you was horrible.”

He returned her kiss, “Yes, it was horrible. They were the longest and worst three weeks of my life.”

She pressed her forehead against his as he continued to squeeze her tight, “How did I survive before I met you? How was I able to breathe?”

“I don’t know, Evie,” he whispered, “I can barely remember life before you.”

“I love you, Beso. I love you so much,” she peppered his face with kisses, "You have to put me down eventually. I need to get my bag."

"You will do no such thing," he scoffed, "You are officially a princess again. My princess doesn't get her own luggage. Point it out to me and I will grab it." He grabbed her carry-on bag and they walked to the baggage claim. Evie noticed Sidney’s lack of hat and looked around the airport. Everybody seemed focused on their own bags and no one seemed to recognize Sidney. He looked down at her, "What's wrong?" 

"No one is recognizing you, Beso" Evie whispered, "Not one single person."

"Yep, I am fairly anonymous over here. Is that a good thing?" He asked.

"I get you all to myself," she poked at his chest, "No interruptions. Seven whole days and nights with you- no work, no practice and no games. Just Evie and Sidney together exploring Bavaria and Switzerland." He bent down and kissed her. 

"Mmmmm, my Evie," he murmured, "Seven whole days and nights with no prying eyes. It's going to be heaven." Evie turned and pointed out her bag. Sidney laughed when he saw the Penguins luggage tag. "Let's go," he said as he pulled the bag with one hand and held her hand with the other. "Are you hungry?" he asked. 

"A little bit," she said, "I am tired but want to stay up to fight the jet lag. When do we start sightseeing?" He stopped and looked at her. "What? You don't have a detailed itinerary for each day planned?" She questioned.

 He frowned a bit, "Am i that predictable?"

"Beso, I KNOW you. I am going to marry you and be your wife," she stood on her tip toes to kiss his cheek, "You are not predictable. You are dependable." He didn't smile. "Don't be upset, Beso. I love that you have it planned. You always take care of me. You will always take care of me. Isn't that what you told me two weeks ago?" He cracked a smile. "I love that I can count on you. Please don't be upset," she teased.

"Okay, I will get over it since you said it so nicely," he smiled, "Nothing on the agenda other than to drive to the first town and check into the hotel. Oh and we do have dinner reservations."

"Early dinner reservations?" She asked seductively as they walked to the rental car. 

Sidney furrowed his brow, "Stand down, Evie. I am having trouble controlling myself without you tempting me." He placed her bags in the trunk then opened her car door. She lightly grazed his crotch with her fingers and looked into his eyes as she slid into the car.  She hitched her dress and he licked his lips. "Dammit Evie, we have an hour drive to Würzburg" he sputtered as he shut the door. Evie growled and pulled her dress drown. "I'm surprised that you wore a dress for the long flight," he remarked.

"I changed before the plane landed," she teased, "You know for easier access.

Sidney blinked, "Easy access? How much easy access?" She smirked and lifted her dress to reveal no panties. "You are going to kill me, Evita," he sighed, "You are absolutely going to kill me."

"I hope you ate your wheaties this morning, Beso," she smiled as she leaned over the car console to kiss his cheek. "Now shut and drive. I am already throbbing."

"Thank God for the autobahn," Sidney growled as he put the car into gear.

just reread the giver quartet so i figured id watch the movie since i remembered liking it when i watched it as a teen but it was NOT as good as i remembered heres a list of my thoughts

dislike that hes an adult

dislike how big the community is. it was supposed to be way smaller, they only had 50 people in each year

dislike how much they pushed the scifi angle, one of the standout features of the novels was that they were a fantasy dystopia. and those houses r supposed to be suburbia HOAcore not modern cube

i liked that they paid more attention to including music in the things jonas learned about, but calling it "hearing beyond" didnt make much sense

i kind of liked that fiona was willing to do stuff like the "sled" ride? in any community like there, there's never only going to be one person who gets curious/butts up against the rules

i like the mark identifying the people who can be receivers more than the blue eyes, making a character special because they have blue eyes feels kinda icky

like that gabe starts crying as soon as jonas asks if his parents love him

i actually loooved how they did the ptsd/flashback scene in the movie, though i wished they'd kept the kids playing war in

the rosemary hologram was weird and sucked

i think the rosemary flashbacks could have worked as a memory jonas received, but it just by itself didnt work

REALLY like that jonas outright said "so it's our fault" because they understand how things actually are

i don't understand the thing about the waterfall rock sculpture. why is it there whats it for whys it important

i don't like how much emphasis is added to the romantic relationship between jonas and fiona

the narration doesn't work, it's just interspersed too randomly and it's not really necessary

i was going to say i didn't like that asher tried to stop him, but i do actually really like that jonas punched him

ehhhh i don't like that the head chief can see into the giver's house/knows jonas left/tries to stop him/etc. it was important that they were so overconfident that they didn't think anyone would try to buck the system

i. dont think i like the chase scene -_- like i like that they understand any society like this would have to have a military but i just dont think it fit

i also think its stupid that they have prison cells but w/e

i like how the movie goes back to black and white when its no longer from jonas's perspective, then back to colour when he crosses the barrier

i like that lily knows the thing about the hippo being an elephant and speaks up about it

i think it's stupid that the chief lady tells asher to "lose" jonas, with the rules as the way they are he just literally wouldn't understand what she meant

this movie goes on for like half an hour longer than it should tbh

what the hell do they think the mother's JOB is she just keeps randomly showing up, shes just a lawyer why is she in all these random places

why is the dad the one killing fiona, hes supposed to work with babies wtf is he doing here

why does the chief elder know about starving and war and stuff? i thought the point was no one actually knows except jonas and the giver

i like how the memories remembered are both happy AND sad

but like why was there no reaction from anyone when they got the memories back? they all just sat there completely still?

Anyone with a head on their shoulders and a heart in their chest will agree that meeting someone on the same wavelength as you is a feeling that is very hard to beat.

Today consisted of finding a bus that wasn’t on google, crossing a border with no idea what legality was require, subsequently received no stamp in my passport which I suspect will eventually be a problem, no actual currency for the new country, no sim card and no idea how to find a place to stay, eventually borrowing some lads phone to maps myself to a hostel, walking there from memory, got circled and nearly attacked by dogs on a back alley dirt road then arriving at the hostel to discover some friends from Guat here.

And now, tomorrow I am apparently riding on the back of a motorbike with a british girl who’s never ridden a motorbike before and also never driven on the wrong side of the road before going to hike up a waterfall.

How do you go back to reality after charming taco stands at 1am on a Tuesday with strangers, hammocks on a remote beach and surfing till your shorts tear, strange small towns on the way to somewhere else and big fuckoff cities full of class and grandeur, a volcano erupting during a lightning storm, people you share years of experience with but have known for a week and fighting off dogs to get to the home you’ve never been and everything else that happens in a day away from what you thought you knew.

had two separate nightmares one after another

first one i was at some sort of convention or event hall which was pretty empty. then all of a sudden the police showed up and explained that the location had been 'leaked' and a bunch of people were gonna come and invade. and then they came and like. it was a fucking ocean of people lmao

we (the people who were already there) barricaded ourselves inside a single room but even with everyone trying to hold the doors they could barely hold back the wave of people trying to idk, get our autographs or something. one of them was nickocado avocado and one of the police officers punched him in the face to get him to fall back so we could close the doors

inside the room it was like a minecraft escape room and me and another person found a golden apple and a furnace. and we had to like melt down the gold from the golden apple onto three different apple cores to make three different golden apples (yeah idk how that worked).

we managed it but just barely, and then once we opened the doors the people were gone and the hall was just full of random bodily fluids. we walked out of the venue and asked the police what will happen to everyone who raided and they were just like 'well we dont know who they were so we cant do anything'. and then that part ended

next was pretty unique bc it wasnt from my perspective, it was from the perspective of four women who were walking across this endless plane of water flowing off the side of a cliff. and one was talking about how much she hates waterfalls bc the rushing water was opaque and you couldnt see what was behind them

eventually they came across a wall of waterfalls and despite how scared she was she followed the other three into the cave behind it. it was just a bunch of rooms with windows looking into one another. they kept walking but after a while the woman who was at the front was like 'nice, ive led you far enough' and ran ahead

then as the group started going further the rooms behind the windows stopped being empty and started containing... naked asian men? with like a device attached to their heads that was doing something to them. and there was one guy who wasnt attached to a device but was typing on a computer, and once he saw the women he sounded an alarm and chased after them

he grabbed a metal pole and tried bludgeoning them to death but somehow the woman who was scared originally was able to get him in such a position between the door and the pole that the pole strangled him. i woke up after that to a pitch black room (bc of how bad my sleep schedule is) and i was fucking terrified
