This is Armorous, I tried to make a good guy with a god complex because I’ve never seen that done before, but I ended up accidentally making him a victim of circumstances instead…

One day while traveling blindfolded because of an injury, Armorous stumbled upon an old woman belonging to a struggling village. He used the healing magic he’d been training with on the sick and injured, even helping them propagate their farms so they could get back on their feet quicker.

What he didn’t expect was that he’d become worshipped like their old god for helping save their village. So now he’s stuck there because he feels responsible for the lives of the people in that village, and has unfortunately grown attached to them.

Despite the fact that if they see he has red eyes they will execute him on the spot, because apparently red eyes are the symbol of the god who killed their previous god… That’s so great for him isn’t it! ✨

It’s not that I forgot, totally not! I just barely have anything to post since I’ve been working on different projects again

This time I was scrolling on Pinterest for silly pose references to draw and found this cute one!

Lei Long and Hai Long’s energy is making Mo Long self conscious. After the second arc of GDC Mo Long becomes the equivalent of a soggy cat and it’s never not funny how much of a loser he is. Look at his nervous ass trying to play it cool you are NOT intimidating anyone little bro 😭😭

Oh my god YES! I’d absolutely LOVE to yap about my characters!!

I’m currently focusing on two stories, Golden Dragons Curse is the main one and Bliss District is its eventual successor when I finish writing that story! They are actually stories I’m writing btw, though I wouldn’t call it novel quality or anything since it’s all just for fun ✨✨

— Golden Dragons Curse is about a man named Taiyang Long who is the reincarnation of a man named Jin Long who is considered an infamous criminal throughout the entire continent, and how his life changes when he eventually gets mixed up with the people Jin Long was acquainted with in his past life

— Bliss District is about three characters, Mono, Norman, and Simon (But mainly Mono) and their lives as they navigate how harsh life is living in the outskirts of the only remaining city in the entire world.

They eventually get tangled up in the politics of the four self sustaining civilizations named districts that have settled in the junk filled outskirts and realize the top company in the city, Eden, has made a deal with the first district that may change both factions and their lives forever

New Bliss District characters‼️‼️ (Both unnamed at the moment)

The top guy is a leucistic Tamaraw (a species of small water buffalo) from the second district and he’s a butcher! (It’s suspicious a district containing 97% herbivores has a job for butchering but don’t look into that to deeply yet)

The second guy is the vice commander for the first district! He is currently the only character I have from the first district so this is quite monumental!

I figured that there would eventually be people who wanted to explore beyond the city and into the wasteland beyond the walls of trash that compromise the outskirts districts and what better character to take that chance and explore then a desert hawk?

Needless to say it’s rough out there and very dangerous, the only life out there are primitive and hungry creatures and he ended up losing an arm while escaping some of those creatures. He’s lucky his left hand is his dominant hand… He’s a sweet guy, it really sucks he’s currently working for the first district 😔😔

Cookie Run Kingdom OC’s because I got jumped by a fixation for Shadow Milk Cookie and I spiraled unbelievably far down the rabbit hole 😭🙏

Their names are Glazed Twine Cookie and Half Moon Cookie!

The pullable faerie cookie knights didn’t have food related names so I didn’t bother with one for Glazed Twine, I still kept him vaguely food related by basing parts of his design off sugar glaze but that’s the extent of it

Half Moon Cookie is actually based off a moon cookie though, moon cookies are my least favorite cookie so I thought what better cookie to base an antagonist off of then that?

Glazed Twine Cookie was the one trying to arrest Half Moon Cookie and then halfway back to the kingdom he got captured instead…

I really can’t bring myself to stop drawing this stupid idiot… I recently reworked some inconsistencies in his lore so I had him on the brain

I draw basically all my characters with fangs (Because I hate how flat teeth look in my style 99% of the time) but their not really “canonical” to most designs per say

So when I do end up having an OC with canonically sharp or canine teeth they barely look any different from everyone else… So I’m fixing that today by drawing Vain’s teeth as they look to everyone in universe!! ✨✨

I’m glad I also got to draw him during various stages of unhinged, he’s genuinely crazy and my other drawings don’t do him justice in that regard 😭😭

Golden Dragons Curse — Post Betrayal Scene Pt.2

Baihua Long cannot and will not catch a break… She deserves a villain arc more than Taiyang Long to be real, she’s just everyone’s emotional and physical punching bag…

Anyway thats another project under my belt done! Two left to go!! I’ll probably end up starting another project in between those soon though since tbh I don’t want to work on either right now…

Golden Dragons Curse — Post Betrayal Scene Pt.1

Because I can only use 10 photos per upload I’m gonna have to split this post into two parts… Fortunately for you guys I’ll post both of them at the same time so you don’t have to wait!

The two characters in this post are Baihua Long (The girl) and Yu Long (The guy)

What happened before this scene I might draw eventually but as far as what you see now, essentially Baihua Long is crying because the main character, Taiyang Long, snapped at her and slapped her before running off.

Yu Long is heartbroken and vengeful, he was already indifferent to Baihua Long and maybe a bit sympathetic, but now he can’t stand the sight of her and essentially shoved her out the door to his office for some alone time to wallow in his misery very menacingly.

I FINALLY made a Golden Dragons Curse animation, I’ve been meaning to do this for SO LONG 😭🙏

This video is focused on recent chapters with Yu Long (The green one) and Jin Long. (The orange one) Mostly I just wanted to focus on Yu Longs unhinged energy when he was younger because in the present he presents himself as much more mature and kind.

He tries to be at least, but his old ways may not be as discarded as they appear…

Here’s a little GDC sketch dump

You can tell which I drew in flip-a-clip and which I did in my actual drawing program 😭🙏 (For those who don’t know I do 90% of my sketches in flip-a-clip)

For those curious, the top drawing is from a future scene in gdc I haven’t written yet featuring Taiyang Long in his manic arc, the second drawing is Yu Long and Feicui long ACTUALLY GETTING ALONG???

That is obviously way earlier in the timeline than the animatic of Yu Long throwing hands with him, and the last one is Yu Long yearning for Jin Long because he did actually fall hard for him at the start of their relationship

The last two sketches are, an OOC self indulgent Yu Long sketch and finally a scene from the latest installment of gdc of Taiyang Long embracing his role in a different way than I previously portrayed

Mo Long has a lot of scars so I drew them 👍 + a sketch of Taiyang Long because our reactions are the same

He’s a well known and respected general so of course he’s banged up from his many battles, though it’s to a much more absurd degree than most. He’s still practically a baby in dragon years but he’s not only high up in the ranks but has the body a veteran who’s been on the battlefield for hundreds of years to boot!

However he had scars long before he ever joined the empires forces. Mo Long took a lot on punishment in his youth when he was Jin Longs servant, mostly getting lashes on his arms and back, though I didn’t draw his back this time so you can’t see those 😔😔

It’s been a minute since I’ve drawn Taiyang Long! Since you last saw him he went from being a literal victim to beginning his villain arc because dependency is for losers and he wants that bag. (The bag in question being happiness)

He screwed himself over because Jin Long syndrome finally caught up to him and freedomTM is looking rather apatizing compared to whatever he had going for him before (A loving totally not flawed relationship)

Being dependent on others to give him happiness wasn’t really working out so he’s going to get it on his own, too bad he’s like screwing people over to do it. How many times can Baihua Long get shat on for existing before she also hops on that villain timing…

Things are getting worse for everyone involved so I hope you guys will be along for the ride when I get around to illustrating it! ✨

Vain and Norman have historyyyyy so I had to draw them together 🫶🫶

My whole motivation to do both their designs was so I could do an animation with them but tbh I should probably finish the one with Yu Long and Feicui Long first before I drop it completely… 😭😭

I also recently reread the first chapter of Mono’s story and it was way funnier than I remembered??

Everyone’s still a major asshole and I do need to tweak the ending a bit because that’s not at all how it’s supposed to go, but yk that’s what happens when you wing all your writing with no script or frame of reference outside vague ideas ✨

If anyone’s interested in the writing I do alongside my drawings don’t be afraid to comment! Whether it’s GDC or this story I have plenty of lore and not enough people to share it with 🤧

I FINALLY managed to get Norman’s design done good lord‼️😭 No more Vain filler (Unless…)

I don’t see a lot of characters with Colobomus which I think is a wasted opportunity because not only is it interesting but it makes sense for this guys backstory a bit! (Also Chinchillas are underrated as hell)

Norman is Mono’s only friend as of the beginning of the story, he took Mono in one day when he found the guy passed out in a pile of trash close to his house while he was out collecting scrap and stuff

He’s also the one that made Mono’s prosthetic leg! He’s a self taught mechanic and inventor who sells his little creations in the third district from time to time for pocket money.

In return for Norman helping him and letting him live in his house Mono gives Norman protection since before the fourth district goons were harassing him. That’s how the unofficial fifth district was born, since Mono protects their little territory for Norman’s sake!

Norman also has some past ties with Vain I want to explore, I gave them both some fur on their coats to parallel each other and made their colors complimentary 🥰✨

I REALIZED I FORGOT TO POST THIS WHAT???

I could’ve sworn on my life I did… Well anyways Vain’s old non redesign and Artimus interacting (I changed Arti’s clothes a bit to ngl)

This was the drawing that made me redesign Vain in the first place because not only was he boring to draw and unsatisfyingly incomplete looking compared to Artimus.

I also didn’t really have a good grasp on his character so I spent a bit of time trying to figure out what kind of character he was and what his standing in his sector was and how that would reflect in what he wore, I still like this piece though which is why I’m posting it!

I will probably give him a couple other weapons he uses but this Axe will be the main one! This is also a product of me taking a break from other stuff I’m working on. Imagine taking a break from drawing by drawing more, Ahaaaa… Couldn’t be me ✨
